⭐ 1-Star Review I really didn’t want to leave a negative review, but this experience was just too much to ignore. While enjoying my food, I noticed a gnat inside my coffee, completely soaked into the caramel — which means it had been there long before I even got the drink. It was honestly disgusting and completely ruined my appetite. I tried calling the store multiple times to report the issue, but every call went straight to voicemail. Now I have to make the trip all the way back just to resolve something that should’ve never happened in the first place. What made it worse was the service. Several employees had AirPods in, were on their phones, and barely acknowledged customers while taking orders. It felt like no one was paying attention — and honestly, it showed. This isn’t what I expect from McDonald’s. I hope this location takes customer experience and cleanliness more seriously moving forward.

Early morning female manager shorted me $10 in my change. She argued with me at the drive window even though all I did was circle the building. Not letting down, she finally pulled a $10 out of her drawer. As she handed it to me she told me to never come back because now her drawer would be short. I could tell on my original pass she was having a bad day. No sauce for my burrito and she acted like I was the problem for her bitching at another coworker. Probably because he was the only other employee who bothered to show up to work. If there’s a bad turn over rate in the mornings at this location I could see why. I would hate having to go in this place and work with her. She was rude, insulting and unapologetic. Don’t worry, I won’t be back if I see your vehicle here.

I ordered a large coffee and they gave me a medium one. I asked to change the coffee from medium to large and the cashier told me that she couldn't do that, that it was the large one when this cup is the medium one. Very bad service from the staff.

I just had the best McDonald’s meal I’ve ever had. Everything was hot and fresh from the fries to the burger! The new McFlurry was picture perfect! The man at the drive thru window was very nice too! Thank you!

They are super rude. Unorganized and rushed. The establishment is NASTY can't even get a drink without feeling like your going to get sick. I will absolutely go out of my way to never come here again. Go at your own risk.

I waited in the drive through just for them to take my order for about 10 minutes before somebody responded. I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit combo. With a small Dr. Pepper. When I got to drive through number one, the lady that was taking money. Was more busy on her phone than taking my money. Don't know what she was doing on her phone, but I did not find that professional at all. When I got to window number 2, they handed me my small Dr. Pepper. I waited about 1015 seconds and got my meal and my meal is not what I asked for I asked for a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit all I got was a sausage and egg biscuit. That is not what I ordered at all and I paid for the cheese and I not getting cheese.

Had a late dinner with a friend! We received a warm personal greet at the door and the lady was so helpful when we didn't understand the kiosk! I had the crispy chicken deluxe sandwich meal and JR a single cheeseburger and a coke! Freaking delicious! I'd just come from the gym and really appreciated the great service and tasty food! I was starving and was glad to find this McDonald's!!

Every single time I tried to use a code for my McDonald’s last year it never works and the manager or the assistant manager always sits there and says that it must be something with my phone but every time I go to a different McDonald’s it works perfectly fine these workers here truly are not trained at all and they don’t know what they’re doing at all And it’s honestly kind of sad just because I wanted to get something for my girlfriend to eat breakfast.

I regularly come here as I have a busy schedule and small budget. This morning I had a lovely interaction in the drive-thru with Ionna (sorry if that's not how you spell it). Working in such a fast pace environment it's hard to get good customer interactions in, let alone through the drive thru window. She made my day start off lovely. Kindness matters!!! Also if you're her manager, pls pls pls appreciate her and your crew!

The syringe in the urinal was a bit much for me. I have been a number of times, and it does not seem to get better.

Attendants at this McDonalds left drive thru vehicles waiting for 10 minutes without acknowledging anyone in the line. Additionaly I left the drive through after ten minutes to see if I could possibly obtain my pickup order from inside and was met by equally long wait times. The unusual thing is that the line was only three people long, and multiple attendants were working. As many as four people were working but no concern for customer experience and a seemingly total disregard for any customer needs.

One of the cooks kept rubbing his balls before grabbing the burgers. Almost got the ol boot when I asked if he needed any help down there. 10/10 server was nice and burgers smelled interesting

I don't know why the reviews for this McDonald's are so low. They're always like open 24 seven and the machine for ice cream always works. They are always very responsive, and whenever I use the app, they are always super patient with me about it, great location next to Costco and they've helped me so much emotionally. I love McDonald's and this is my favorite location. Service is great and there is always one drive-through if not, two going on, highly recommend this McDonald's!!!'

Diet Coke is crisp and Mcdouble with a large fry is the way to go. Use the app and save!

Popped in on McDonalds in pursuit of a McFllurry. What I got was soft serve with finely-crumbled Oreo dust on top. It doesn't remotely resemble what McDonald's used to call a McFlurry. No Oreo chunks. No chocolate. I bought two and paid $9.38? I feel ripped off. The Hot Fudge Sundae made what I ordered seem like hospital ice cream. DO BETTER.

Ordered two hamburgers with fries and drink. Hamburgers came out with cheese. I just scraped it off no big deal. The bread was stale and the fries cold. Typical McDonald's experience.

The workers who work at this location are horrible! They have no customer service skills. They take forever to take your order and they all act like they have attitudes. I won't be going back!

I will preface this with: I realize this is McDonald's and I can't have too high of expectations. However, went here during the Coronavirus pandemic. As a healthcare worker, I need all the caffeine I can get and not many things are open early on my way to work. Got some breakfast and ice coffees the employees weren't wearing hygienic gear (like masks, hair nets etc). Also.... my coffee was leaking when they handed it to me through the drive through (the cup was wet with creamer all down the side).

the food here was incredibly disgusting, we had to wait 20 minutes for a hot chocolate and the costumer service was rly bad. the workers were giving an attitude when you were just trynna ask for something or order and they were on the phone while on their shift . the machines were rly bad 2 and the food was messy.

Only Deliveries Came to order food but couldn't and told me to go home and order off door dash.

Not open 24/7 like listed. The parking lot is not kept and often is crawling with homeless that will approach you while ordering. Then when you get your food it is often the wrong order or cooked improperly. The morning manager should be fired

Ordered from Uber Eats - wasn't expecting too much but certainly not burned burgers ! Ridiculous to pay $15 for a combo meal to receive something damn near in eatable

I don't know why this place has bad reviews. I come in at a late hour and all my stuff is always fresh. I appreciate it :)

I realized I got the wrong food when I got home so I went back to get the right food which took no time and I got a cool Chewbacca masked while I waited

I unfortunately come here often since I am in this area a lot. If you can avoid this McDonald's, DO IT. 1. Constantly overflowing trash; 2. Workers are always outside either smoking, bickering, or just staring at you as you walk in; 3. Bathrooms are FILTHY 4. Speaking of which, you can smell them from the door; 5. Seemingly always short-staffed; 6. Lobby is constantly dirty; 7. Drinks in the lobby were running clear and I literally waited 20 minutes for them to change it so I could have a soda (no exaggeration); 8. Someone in a manager's uniform and what looked like a customer were play-wrestling in the lobby when I came in; 9. The customer service is terrible. 10. There is always someone walking in from smoking outside that comes and takes my order after I walk in. NO SIR, you reek of smoke. I get it, it's McDonald's. But I've been to plenty of clean ones, and I've also worked for McDonald's when I was in high school. This is NOT the norm. IDK how this place is still open.

This is only the second time I order from this McDonald's. The first time was great! This time not so great! Not only did they not bring me the drink i ordered, I had also ordered a chicken sandwich and the chicken was RAW. I tried contacting the store to let them know and they do not answer the phone. This is a serious health hazard. I'm lucky I saw it and didn't continue eating it. Who knows what would've happened if I did. I just want to bring awareness to someone. This is completely unacceptable.

Cheapest one dollar drinks in the area! Go across the street to Wendy's for the same thing and you'll have to pay $2.30

Wish I could give them 0 stars. I ordered a sausage biscuit with cheese and a hash brown and they tried to charge me $7. I repeated my order to her which is really not that complicated and she said "yeah" and then proceeded to overcharge me again, this time for a sausage egg and cheese. Jesus Christ. So i, again, told her it was a sausage biscuit with cheese and a hash brown and she said OK and took my card and receipt but didn't refund me the $1 they owed me AND when I got my bag of course it was a freaking sausage egg and cheese. Do you know how gut-wrenching their egg is? A moist styrofoam sponge. Are u kidding me?

Normally worse service in the world. Was told out of chicken tenders. Luckily the women working drive they dab vex your ass. She is great ! Came back again was told they are not serving chicken tenders. Was served cold fries and cold chicken nuggets , Finally was served chicken tenders, over cooked and cold at the same time..

Sometimes the get your order wrong but the thing that I really hate is the people who stand outside in the drive thru to take your order. I don't like having to place my order before I look at the menu. C'mon McDonald's get rid of the people standing outside in the drive thru, just let me talk to the speaker and look at the menu.

Every time I come here after 10-11pm they have a "reason" they can't serve food. If it was once or twice that would make sense. But it seems the employees make up reasons to cancel services at a whim to get out of work.

My visit to the McDonald's at 3255 Main St., Kansas City, MO 64111 this morning: Walking in the windows in the doors look like a pack of dog have been running their noses all over them. The floors are a very dirty with soil, food, and drink all over them. The tray counter in front of the fountain drinks is filthy. Both ice machines are out of ice. The lady behind the cash register is SCREAMING out order number when the customer is 5 feet in front of her. NO WI FI! I'll drive to the McDonald's on Broadway from now on.

After two very poor experiences at the nearby Burger King I walked a little further to this McDonalds. What a wonderful difference. This staff is super-sharp. The restaurant is clean and the service is fast.

I got my food and checked it (because they tend to mess up my orders) and a COCKROACH crawled out of my burger!!! I told the drive thru guy coming back around after I threw it out my window (sorry but scared) and they said to wait in the drive thru line again to talk to a mgr. NEVER AGAIN. DISGUSTING!

Dirty. Smells. Service varies wildly but generally bad (have had a few really good interactions with staff and I always let management know as it's an anomaly). Accosted by homeless nearly every time I go....Once at the register and wouldn't take no for an answer (I'm at Mcd and ordering off value menu dude! Think). Have heard they will tear down and build a new one. Given location and staff they tend to hire, my bet is it will be crap again within a year. Go to one on broadway. Marginally better.

Not many good things to say, so many bad things to say. Since this Mcdonalds is on Main, it's almost always busy. However, the workers are not efficient here. The lines will take up to 10-15 minutes to move at times. The ice cream machine is broken 24/7 (such a fluke). I've had good experiences here, but so many bad ones compared to good ones. I usually only come here when I need to desperately fix my restaurant cravings. The food is what you expect from a McDonald's so I won't comment on that aspect.

Today is the last day I'm frequenting this place. This is the closest Mcdonalds to my house, so I go there sometimes to get a large soda for a dollar. I like diet, and as anyone who has a preference in the diet vs regular debate can tell you, I'm very particular about getting the right variation of soda. I don't know why it's so difficult, but this place owes me like $7 in wrong soda orders, and god knows how much gas from waiting in the drive through for 30 minutes each time. Screw it.

I hate going to this location but it's the closest one to my house and I love McDonald's French fries. The service is horrible and it always takes a very long time to get my food.

Never in my life did I honestly think I would take the time to review a McDonalds. I went on a Thursday night around 9 with a friend. The drivethru was so long, we decided to go inside. We were the first in line... Yet it took the staff about 10 minutes to even notice us. Someone finally came over to us and didn't even say a word. I stated to say my order and she walked away. She got her phone out, and walked out of the building. What?! By this time, the line indoors was pretty long. She eventually came back and took my order. My order alone took 20 minutes to place, and to top it all off, she sold me something they were unable to make, had to refund me, and then I had to choose something else. It took about 20 minutes to get our order. So much for fast food. During this time, I went to the bathroom. Big mistake. There was a lady living in there. She had huge bags full of her stuff sitting in the handicap stall. She was staring at herself in the mirror. I walked in and she said, "I'm in this one." Moral of the story, don't pee here. The staff screamed at each other the entire time and they have no social skills. Go to Burger King next door.

I have never experienced a worse fast food McDonalds than this one. I wish I could give it 0 stars but unfortunately that isn't allowed. I've come here in the mornings before work and they have messed up my order. I have come here for dinner and they still mess up my order. It doesn't matter which shift I get for this restaurant I always get a bad bunch. Not only during normal hours are they unsuccessful but even late at night I have driven through their drive thru to hear the employees chatting with eachother and not taking orders. I've actually finally downloaded yelp just to leave this review since I have never experienced worse service than here. Please, please avoid this horribly managed fast food restaurant.

Firstly, McDonald's is my drunk food, so I have always experienced this location at bizarre hours of the night. There is always a REALLY long line in the drive thru (and hey! I don't drive! So no! I do not drink and drive!) The workers never seem very enthusiastic, but then again, I wouldn't be either if i worked there. I have had orders messed up. But man oh man, do try that McFrappe Mocha thing. I was very skeptical of it, but it's really pretty good.

I have been living in Midtown now for three years. Coming from a small town, I must have spoiled with good hospitality from fast food workers, because this is a rare event as soon as you move to a major city. That exception is this McDonald's location. They do seem a little slow in the drive thru, but they have never messed up my order and the employees are super friendly and accommodating. I can think of several occasions where they went above and beyond to make my experience more pleasurable.

Food poisoning. I decided to indulge and get some McDonald's breakfast... big mistake, by that night I was vomiting and everything else. Also this isn't the first review about food poisoning.

The service and wait times are atrocious. When compared to other McDonald's in the metro, this is arguably the worst. The staff is unprofessional. Either new management is needed, or maybe - just maybe - it's past time to shut this location down.

Slowest McDonald's ever. EVER. Took 20+ minutes in the drive through for 1 sandwich and 1 iced coffee and they weren't even sorry about the wait. So much disorganization and chaos. This location deserves no stars.

I don't eat a McDonald's a lot and I certainly don't typically frequent businesses on Main St at midnight, but I was HUNGRY, so I risked my life and my clean underwear and stopped in for a $1 McDouble. Clerk was friendly. She yawned in my face, but really, that's not that bad for a late night McDonald's drive through person. I didn't get shot. I didn't get sick. So, hey, good job.

First they tell me internet is down so they can't get my mobile order that I had already paid for, but somehow tells me my order and magically gets it after me asking multiple times. Then tells me ice cream machine was "broken" which I know is a lie, they just don't want to clean it due to laziness. The kid taking my order had AirPods in his ears so what kind of management is this? Lastly they refused to give me a refund so now I am waiting currently going on 30 minutes for two hot chocolates when there is no customers inside or in drive thru.

Probably the worst McDonald's I have ever been. We all know what to expect when we go there but this one took the cake. For starters the place was dirty! Drink area was a mess! Table that look like they haven't been bussed for hours. The staff were woefully unprofessional. While waiting for my order they proceeded to mess up two separate orders including giving part of my order to someone else then forgetting about the rest of my order until I asked twice about it. To top it off it seems like the staff were more occupied with socializing with their friends than attending to customers! Who ever owns this dump needs to clean house literally! I gave this place a one star cause that is the lowest score I could provide. Trust me this place didn't even deserve that!

I was blown away by the sheer professionalism and friendliness of this McDonald's location. The drive-thru folks were the most helpful, pleasant, and eager workers. Happy to help, the food was warm and delectable. I have never had a more positive experience at a McDonald's. Smiles and scrumptious food are what you can expect at this FANTASTIC Main Street mcdonalds.

Holy cow, this may be the slowest drive through in history. It's actually kind of mind blowing how slow it actually is.

Worst mcdonalds. I will drive out of my way to not go here. "24 hours" is a loose term for them. The only thing 24 hours about this place is how long it might take you to get through the line. Save yourself and go to the broadway location down the street.

Rough, rough service. Took them nearly 38 minutes to take 4 drive through customers. Unconscionable.

FOOD POISONING ALERT!!! My partner had a Big Mac last night and ended up vomiting the whole night, together with diarrhea and really bad stomachache (which are clearly food poisoning symptoms)....had to take her to emergency room in the morning....

There are three 24 hour McD's within drive'en distance at night. This one gets 3 stars only because the one on Broadway gets 2 and the one on Troost gets 1, and it's exponentially better than the one on Troost. I'll do a review for all of them. You know your system goes down every night when the late-night people want food. Yet still, not only do you "not accept credit", but your service takes 30 minutes.- Seriously, Why would you make your late night rush-hour a whole lot more work?

Came in on the fly needing over 30 orders! They were extremely helpful and kind. They got my order out so fast!
