This place is ran by folks that just show up for paycheck. I knew immediately the type of resistance I would be met with the moment I walked in with my disgust/ complaint. However, given the circumstances I figured I give them the opportunity to make things right. We placed an order on 3/2/25 at 7:36p, we made it home and the family started digging in. It wasn't until 10 minutes into our meal that my daughter was met with a weird foreign object. As she spit her fries out here come a finger nail flying across the table. A nasty tacky press on finger nail, a busted up finger nail you pick up at the dollar general. Out of disgust, I spit my food up and immediately started gagging as we all had been digging into those fries. God knows what other weird foreign objects were mixed into the patties, the cheese, the bread. Of course, my immediate reaction was to return to the store and ask for a full refund. I ask you all, would you be ok with this? Answer this truthfully. The majority would say no and demand the same. As expected, I'm met with denial and ridicule, I'm gaslighted, I'm told no one lost a nail. Can't possibly be us. Every nail is accounted for. I don't care who lost it. The fact is someone lost it, first, second, or last - someone is missing a nail and knows it. They wanted all the food back. Half the food, if not the better part of all the food, was eaten before my daughter hit the nail. I can't give you back what was already ate, but asking for a full refund is justified as not one of you would be ok with the thought of you ingesting foreign objects. My request was denied, and I'm given a fake corporate number, no help. This establishment is a joke. Management is young. They don't take their jobs seriously. I called corporate after being provided a fake number. I hope some resolution comes my way. A charge back is coming soon if my complaint lands on deaf ears. I don't recommend this place. It's poorly run, and clearly, health cleanliness is last on the radar. Management call me up, reach out, make this right.

all the employees are straight up rude!!! playing on their phone while they have 5 door dash order (people there waiting on the orders) waited 35-50 mins just for my food then when i get it they wanna charge me for sauce for my nuggets wtf🤨 forgot two of my burgers & got mad bc i said something 🤡 i’ll never be coming

I’ve traveled the country and never had a better experience at McDonald’s! I’m not sure if it’s just we got lucky and had amazing crew tonight or what the difference is but they knocked it out the park in every category from cleanliness, friendliness, the food was hot and fresh exactly how we order we it and the ice cream machine works! Hands down best McDonalds in the country not even close! Adding photos but we already ate 90% it was so good!

Nightmare. Sited 30 minutes while order got cold because they wouldn’t give us the order. Threw a few fries into a medium container. Overcharged. Oh and the employees roll their eyes at you too. Wow. Sad. Don’t bother to contact the owners. They just apologize and do nothing.

Waited in a long line for legit 20 min damn near. I received 8 COLD nuggets. NOT 10. Just 8, Like DID THEY NOT COUNT? After having people wait for decades for service. To not even give them the correct meal is beyond inconsiderate. I can not make this up!

Everything was good. I love it when they make the coffee right, just how I like it! Several mornings in a row it was perfect, then one morning I got one on the house, it was made perfect w/o me saying how I liked it 😀.

It’s been awhile since I’ve been to this McDonald’s but per usual, I’m satisfied. More than not, my “sisters” smile over here and I do whatever to make their day better. They deserve to feel appreciated as well. Great customer service! Keep smiling ladies

I ordered a chicken nuggets combo and just a 6 piece chicken nuggets. The nuggets were hot and good the fries were lukewarm overall we were pleased we don't eat McDonald's that often but we were tweaking some nuggets this day and we enjoyed them. 😄

I frequent this restaurant twice a week for the past 8 months and noticed a pattern at this place. On my weekend visits, this establishment screams poor hygiene standards. The lobby is always dirty. The tables are sticky. Debris on the floors and the bathrooms unkept. Oddly enough on my weekday visit this McDonalds location, it looks totally different! The lobby and tables are sparkling clean. The bathroom is well manicured and smell good. This place was so gross on my visit this weekend, that I turned around and made a decision that I would no longer visit the location. If they can't maintain the lobby then I know for sure they can't maintain the cleanliness of a kitchen.

Serious problems at this location!. Served egg McMuffin with untoasted muffin, cold egg and cheese. Remade with biscuit/ toaster not working. Three times got the sausage egg and cheese mcmuffin wrong. Ended up with one on a biscuit. Manager had to get involved. I think they had to remake the order 4 or 5 times.like ne behind us was out the street

The experience was terrible. The staff did not communicate correctly and then were very rude. Then the food took forever to get. And the grounds and kitchen are dirty.

Made order for pick up to avoid the long drive through lines. Not yo long it. Wait. Arrived home to find my entire order a mess yet it was a very simple order 2 spicy chickens. Large fry Frappuccino The chicken sandwiches hand nothing on them only a chicken patty. An bun. The fry was a Small fry an was ice cold an the Frappuccino was half full Not sure why this place is still in business at this point. Attempted to call back the phone is busy seems like it's off the hook so no one can call the business Pretty crappy night. Can a store manger please give me a call

The restrooms and lobby were dirty, although there were no guests in the lobby at all. I counted 8 employees, many of them just standing around, talking, and out of uniforms. They looked at us like we were disturbing them by wanting to order something. Barely any hospitality was present at all, and no one even attempted a smile the entire time. Even for a fast food establishment, this was not acceptable at all.

The level of how bad the service is at McDonald's in New Orleans is impressive! We were laughing at how many mistakes were made during our order. I've traveled the world and have never experienced the level of incompetence as I just did. Impressive! LMAO

Slowest drive through in New Orleans, backs out onto Claiborne all hours of the day. Two stars because at least the employees are always nice, if not speedy.

Customer service is horrible employees are rude and unprofessional the whole crew including management just stood there and talked for 6 minutes straight without acknowledging the fact that I even walked into the building. They "looked back at me and turned around and kept talking amongst themselves I didn't feel welcomed or appreciated as a customer this location needs new management for sure

It's alllllllways a wait here. I mean really, IT IS!!!! In the heart of UPT NOLA, Claiborne & Louisiana... Claiborne & Washington... I mean how much more UPT can you be??? Well I guess there's more UPT, but yeah for this review... UPT, Magnolia... yeah e yeah!!!! Ok back to the review: Yeah so this is one of the slowest McDonalds this side of heaven. Right next to a church, you would think the service would be faster, church people coming out all at once, I mean really... BUUUUUUT NOOOOOO!!! But I guess it is "fast, but not so fast food" & that should be expected? Hmmmmm. I can admit on this day, although the service was as stated above, the food was good, temperature was good & the cashier was moderately enthused/friendly... This is a newer Mickie Dees, as it has the 2 order taking lanes, ummmm helps to add to the slowness... yeahhhh so slow & steady wins the race I guess. Once again, like I said, slow order taking service, but ok food...

Hungry for something quick late night? Try somewhere else. McDs doesn't staff their restaurant for shit. I walked into this store at 10 this evening and walked out at 10:30 hungry. Nobody even acknowledged my presence except to ask if I was picking up for an online service. Expectations are low when I enter McDs but they all too often succeed in underperforming. That was the case tonight. I will do my utmost to resist the urge to patronize the crap restaurant with the great locations.

All we tried to do was order a Ice cream and the girl with brown and blonde high lights box braids had the nerve to be rude. Will not return

I just went through the drive through, and I mean WOW. What an experience. I wasn't expecting much from a McDonald's, but this far surpassed my worst expectations. This McDonald's sets the bar low in a big way! Not only did they mess up my order and charge had my card for a completely different order (than the one I ordered or the one they gave me) but then there was this insane hostage situation where they held my debit card hostage, told me they were just gonna charge me arbitrarily amounts of money to get closer to the amount I was supposed to be charged, and then WALKED AWAY for a ridiculously long amount of time (4 maybe 5 min.) They finally gave me my card back, charged the full amount and handed me the food that at this point had been sitting in the window for about 10min. I gotta give these guys credit, sometimes you just wanna be the best at something. They are the best at being the absolute worst. Cold soggy hash brown game strong!

This place is so disgusting & Nasty! Please don't eat @ this place! 1. You have bad attitude employees. 2. Poor management 3. Dirty Floors/water on the floor which can cause an accident 4. Fly Infestation 5. Masks not properly worn 6. Not wearing gloves ( when fixing your food)! 7. Low pay 8. Boring 9. Uncomfortable chairs 10. This is why I don't eat fast food & could never work for them! And by the way this Restaurant doesn't deserve any stars

The fact that people even have the time or idiocy to rate a McDonald's baffles me it's friggin McDonald's you can't honestly expect 5 star food when you're paying $1 for a burger OR 5star service from a FAST FOOD RESTAURANT where they probably get treated like crap all day. I love McDonald's I will eat here forever no matter how terrible the food or service is.

So just wanting to get off from work get some food before going home is never an enjoyable experience being that McDonald's is the only thing that is open around this time of night when I have just experience was utterly excessive and dramatic and could have been easily fixed and they're having a whole concert through the speaker in the drive-through people are just driving around because they cannot get assistance for someone to put their head out of the back window stating that they are only taking cash after people have already been in line for numerous amounts of minutes when you get to the window there's a person taking orders with a notebook my food order was correct yet when I asked how was the sweet tea tonight they told me it was good I went with the recommendation and judgment it was terrible it was not fresh tea it was brown simple syrup disgusting I politely asked for a sprite and she ignored me and close the window and walked away if you're system is down how are you taking control of any money coming in you need to check on your managers they're not trustworthy nor do they know how to run a store properly in Claiborne and you never get it right

I'm not sure what management is doing here but y'all need to read this review and help your staff cause this is ridiculous. I waited 20 mins from ordering to window for my food and then received cold food. I was lied to and told they had Oreo McFlurrys and when I got to the window suddenly they were out of ice cream. It's clear the staff doesn't care and that's fine but what's really annoying is that management should care and make sure they're helping their staff/ordering enough product to last the weekend. Please check in with your management and make sure they're actually doing their jobs cause in my opinion this is fully a management issue and you need to actually get some competent managers.

Writing this review in hopes of alerting the powers that be that their staff is scamming them big time! After a Sat night out in NOLA we asked our UBER driver to drive us through McDonalds on the way to our hotel. He kindly agreed. What we assumed would be a 5 minute detour turned into a 30 minute one. You arrive at the drive through they announce that orders will be taken at the second window and they can only take cash. Ok we assume their computer system is down, and don't pull out in time to avoid being in the one lane"chute" from which there is no exit! This being late Sat night the drive thru is packed and it took us literally 30 minutes to get to the window! As we gave our order we noticed the girl was writing it down in a notebook, I said casually are your computers down? She responded easily" oh no, she shuts them down at night and we only take cash.... but don't worry I can count good" Now I don't know who "she" is,but it doesn't take a genius to know that by shutting down the computers and only taking cash, she is scamming someone....

McDonalds is McDonalds. Its bad when it's good and it's good when it's awful. Whether it's the best or worst Big Mac you've ever had is exponentially related to how long it has been since you last ate. And more or less how drunk you are. M(x) = D(y) And I thought I'd never math again.

Most trash experience of my entire life. Waited almost 2 hours for food. Everything was cold when we got it. Unacceptable for anything other than drive through. Truly the most horrible McDonalds experience of my life and that is saying something.

Horrible service...understaffed....long waits.....wrong order taken ......bad attitude ....next time ima just go to the dollar store or something when my son hungry....or eat dog food...

Ok, it's McDonald's ya'll so I feel funny giving it more than three stars? Am I crazy? Anywho, this is for the drive thru. There are two lines which gets TWO THUMBS UP from me! The line went relatively quickly which is great bc I was on the way to pick up my Mom from work and she was dragging me to Oakwood Mall. I figured I would get a Kids Meal (cheeseburger with Big Mac sauce-they charge you $.25 and it is SO worth it), no pickles, girl toy (for the nieces), and diet coke bc that cancels all the fat!) and not be hungry in case she took a while. She wanted to go to Dillard's and get perfume but who knows where else she would drag me. Plus if you know me I love shopping but I HATE crowds. I especially hate going to the mall during busy times like Black Friday, Christmas etc. it's just not worth it to me. It's just stuff and I can order things online. I am impatient, and I don't like people bumping into me, ramming my cart, etc. anywho, I digress. My point was I am not a pleasant person to be around when I'm hungry and tired so Mickey D's was my saving grace last night. Turns out I was dragging my Mom around bc it took an hour to get my stuff engraved. But my Mom and I found great sales on shoes in our various sizes so it was a win-win situation! Plus, I DID see "Supersize Me" and although it thoroughly repulsed me to see the changes in the guy's body, I still occasionally indulge in Mickey D's. hey, what can I say, they got me when I was young. Had so many damned birthday parties at the one on Dowman and Morrison. I remember the play area, back when they fried the apple pies. My parents let me have a happy meal but no cold drink, only milk (later discovered I was lactose intolerant). Mickey D's was a treat and not a regular occurrence. It's my go-to comfort food in a pinch. Especially the ones opened 24 hours when back in the day I would be out past 10 pm! Hehe now I just start yawning am under the covers by then! I really enjoy Big Mac sauce, Filet-o-Fish with extra tartar sauce (I just love tartar sauce in general), chicken nuggets, cheeseburgers, their French fries, apple pies, their sausage/egg/cheese biscuit, hashbrowns. Ok, I've said too much. Btw, I don't get the McRib, now I know I'm gonna get hurt for that comment but for real, it's not a real rib? Ok, I'm done! Happy Fast Food Eating!

We were SCREAMED at by the same McDonald's worker at every stage of our experience. At the drive through, when we told her we had a mobile order, we were met by the worker screaming at us, "You better have the receipt because if you don't I'm not giving you your food." She went on to scream orders at us through the speaker, to which we could not understand due to it pouring rain and her accent. When we went to the second window, because there was no one at the first window, she stuck her head out and yelled, "I told y'all to go to the first window. BACK UP!" She then forced us to back up from the second window to the first one, causing us to almost hit the car behind us. We expressed to her that we were scared we were going to hit the car behind us and she starts screaming that we should of listened to her originally. She then throws the receipts in the hands of my friends little sister and rolls her eyes. We then told the workers at the second window about our experience and were met with a passive aggressive "and?" look. Hands down the worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant or store EVER. I literally made a yelp account just to leave this review because of how god awful the service was. I genuinely wish I would of videoed this experience so others could physically see this McDonald's worker screaming at guests.

My local McDonald's only go here out of desperation and if you are seriously starving and have no other options otherwise I recommend going quickly through the drive-through. On a good note this McDonald's has never messed up one of my orders and no one has begged me for money or was shot in the parking lot when I was leaving!

Considering the bad luck I've been having with McDonald's lately this one is a breath of fresh air. I came in towards the end of the lunch rush. The place was clean. The bathrooms were clean. The staff was friendly and fast. The gave up plenty of napkins without me having to ask. Later when one of the staff members was cleaning the dining area she talked to my kids. (I like it when people treat the girls like tiny humans instead of acknowledging them with a grunt.) Hallelujah! The chicken nuggets were fully cooked! Plus their drive through is 24hrs. This is the McDonald's to go to.

I ordered a big mac combo and twenty piece nugget. I gave the cashier my card and asked for the receipt. She didn't give it to me. She stated my card didn't process. I showed her the app on my phone that proved it did. I just figured she passed the point she could print out my receipt and proceed to the next window. When I got there the lady handed me my drink then asked what I ordered. She looked confused. I then explained what the previous person told me. She went to get what seemed to be the manager on duty. After explaining to the third lady what happened, she proceeded to tell me that the transaction didn't process and that I'd have to swipe my card again. Now I've been in this situation before. A cashier didn't give me a receipt, then blamed it on my card. Later to find out it was the stores employee who made the mistake. Now I remained calm and showed them my phone which displayed my banks pending payment. It wasn't good enough. She said the payment wouldn't process and that the charge that I see wouldn't complete. What was done to me had me doubt this stores customer service and leadership. I was ignored until I pulled away from the store. This is not acceptable. You stole $14 dollars from me. Just sad McDonald's. You are supposed to be better than that.

The night staff are so rude. She "claimed" my unlimited limit American Express declined. The manager did nothing. I will be calling corporate.

I waited over 30 MINUTES in the drive-thru line. I would have left, but I had already paid. No apology, no nothing. If I could give this no stars, I would. Do not go here.

Honestly this was the best cheese burger i have ever had. and i have been to a couple of gourmet restraunts this restraunt had the best and fastest service

I will never be back to this location! It is a split drive through lane and they just took 5 orders from the other side before switching to me. People behind me were backing up and switching to the other lane and ordering before me. The lady at the window was not very accepting of me letting her know what happen. I have never seen a place take orders that way. It took 15 min before I was addressed. Ridiculous.

amazing. a 10 star restaurant for sure. literally the best classiest restaurant i've seen. i took my wife here for our anniversary and she left me but at least i have fries

I've been in line for probably 30 minutes now. This is ridiculous! I honestly can't stand mcdonalds in the city. When we got our food it was cold and the Breakfast burritos were hard. I won't be coming back!

Terrible,are they trying to kill me! SO MUCH GREASE. THE BURGER HAD NO TOMATO, LETTUCE, CHEESE OR MEAT. they said they ate out of every thing but buns on Wednesday. I dont want to become obiese,so I will never go there again. ,,

This McDonald's has issues. For one, it's always cash and the computers are always down. And i think they are keeping the money.

I went out of my way to go there because the McDonald's on St. Charles Ave at Louisiana Ave is so awful that I won't go there anymore and I was really craving a Big Mac. I ordered a Big Mac meal with sweet tea. The voice over the drive thru asks if I would like lemon. I am glad that she asked because I keep forgetting to ask for it. After nearly 20 minutes in the drive thru, I am finally on my way home with my meal. When I get home and open the Big Mac, there are big gobs of MAYO on it and NO SS. There are no onions and the lettuce is all wilted and gross. This is NOT a Big Mac. To top it off, there is no lemon in my tea. I look at my receipt to call and talk wtih the manager. What I really want is for someone to deliver to me the sandwich that I ordered, but will be satisfied with an immediate refund to my credit card and a free meal the next time I drive thru. I call the number and get some recording that says they are not available to take my call and I should call back later. So, I call the corporate 800 number and they are closed! I call back the local number, someone says, "McDonald's" and I ask to speak with a manager. She hangs up. I go online to write a complaint, submit it and get the following error: "We regret to inform you that an error has occured while processing your request.The Contact Us team has been notified of your error and will look into a resolution. " A lot easier just to Yelp!

Great food. Service left much to be desired. The employee taking my order was very short and did not have the winning attitude I usually find most McDonalds' employees to have. I got the chicken nugget happy meal. The nuggets were just delectable- no complaints there. They were crunchy but not overcooked. Yummy yummy in my tummy! :P The fries could have been a little warmer, but overall they were still tasty (would you expect anything less from McDonalds?!). Happy meals now come with a yogurt or apple slices which was a nice touch. I went with the apple slices but the yogurt looked great as well. The best part of the meal was definitely the desert though! It was the best Oreo McFlurry I've had in a long, long time! The Oreo to ice cream ratio was on point and they even let me add whipped cream :) All in all I was pleased with my experience at this Mcdonalds and would recommend this location for your next date night, late night stop, or just 'cuz!

Horrible, they don't even take the time to make your food fresh. I ordered a large fry and it tasted like they took the old, cold fries and put them back into the grease. There's no way a french fry should be that tough; I would have been better off eating the cardboard box the fries came in.
