McDonald's

I usually don't write negative reviews, I try to always be positive. However this was the worst experience I've ever had. I work in healthcare and after working a 16-hour shift today All I wanted was something to eat. When I got to the drive-thru the girl came on and her exact words were.... Where extremely short staff tonight so it's going to be a while before I can take your order. I looked around and it was me and another car in the drive-thru. I took this very personal maybe it's because I take care of people all day long and I just wanted somebody to take care of me for 10 minutes by feeding me some food. I understand about being short-staffed I truly do. But we do the best we can with what we have and we don't let people know. Where was the managers why weren't they there? Needless to say I just drove through the drive-thru and went home hungry. You let me down McDonald's....I will never eat and another McDonald's again. For future references let your employees know The customers don't need to know your short staffed just do your job and make them happy.

Customer service was great sugar-free vanilla iced coffee so I really can't wait their food. And all together the atmosphere is cold and isolated at all McDonald's because there is no customer service they just have you order at a machine and put your food on the counter. So I normally don't eat McDonald's anymore. I just pick up an iced coffee. Iced coffee there are the best and great priced.

This is the worst location of all time. A bunch of kids working who can’t pay attention long enough to get a DoorDash order right let alone when you go through the drive thru. 99% of drive thru staff are rude or don’t seem to care at all or both. 0/10 in every category possible. Highly recommend you go somewhere else, it will be worth it. I would leave 0 stars if it would let me as one star is being very generous.

Literally the worst McDonalds. Sooooo slow! 25 minutes in line? Rude too! Tried to go in and get my app order and they told me I had to get into the drive-through. So 25 minutes I wait. So freaking annoyed. I thought this was fast food.

They say they open at 5am - went to drive through at 5:05 they asked us to wait a few minutes as they were still cooking food. 10 minutes later I left wife at drive through to go in and use bathroom. Outside door was locked and everyone was in the back. Walked back to car and at 5:25 left with out ever hearing from the workers.

I will never go back to this mcdonalds ever again. I placed a mobile order so it was already paid for and had to wait in the drive thru line 45 minutes. I don’t know why I waited, I should have left, but already paid. This was truly an upsetting experience. The line moved one car maybe every 15 minutes. I am done with this place forever.

The food absolutely sucks. I ordered a double hamburger and there wasn't a drop of ketchup or mustard on it. And I'm confident that there was zero spices used. Like salt and pepper maybe?

Really good service and really nice workers. But definitely come again and really good food.

Going forward, I will be driving the 8 extra minutes to another McDonalds. I've gone a few times in the past 2 months, and I got about a 1/2 chance that my food will be wrong. Every time I go there, Whether I'm ordering or picking up my food, an employee will be rude or have an attitude. I am always kind and say thank you in drive-thrus or any food place. It's fine to not like your job, but you don't have to project it on the customers coming to order food... at a place that serves food...

Walked in dining area to eat the employees were yelling and acting like fools the manager must've been gone there's trash all over the floors, rap music playing in the speakers loud

This is the worst McD in Des Moines area. I pulled up to the drive thru and there was not a car in front of me or waiting. I ordered a 10 piece nugget, no salt fries, diet DP and a pack of cookies. Pulled around and paid, pulled up and in a minute or two got my food but had to pull around to wait for the cookies. I waited 13 minutes for the cookies. I had to go inside and get them. They acted like I was inconveniencing them. No apology - nothing. By then the fries and nuggets were luke warm since I had been in my car waiting and the fries had salt! I would recommend going to E University location or Altoona. A car behind me came around and waited for food, one car left with its order and it looked like about 2 other cars in the drive through. one guy was waiting inside to order. so they were not busy.

Stopped for breakfast on vacation, perfect fluffy sausage biscuits They could probably fix their speaker though

Wow, this McDonalds suffers from a major lack of training. The lack of communication skills at this location is staggering. We could barely get our order placed, and of course it was wrong. The food was not hot at all. The visit here was a disappointment. I'd recommend trying a different spot.

Ice cream was good, but was super lopsided the remodel is nice though. They have an outdoor seating area and looks like they have gotten rid of the redbox machine.

What can I say, It's McDonalds. My Apartment is Right next Door. So I go here from time to time. They have a menu board that allows you to skip the wait and order. Food is Good, Hot and generally fresh, personally I've never had a Bad experience here or bad food like other locations. Hungry for Breakfast, go for the Big Breakfast,eggs,sausage biscuit and hash browns. Sausage biscuit with scrambled eggs. Try the Double fish, not healthy but tasty. And of course my favorite,nuggets with Hot mustard sauce. Skip the pies, not the same, they were better fried in lard than baked.

They do not know how to make iced coffees. Heard the manager tell the employee to just use regular coffee because I wouldn't know the difference... my coffee was handed to me with no ice and it tasted terrible. Will never be going back!

I screwed up. I don't go to McDonalds except for breakfast because outside of breakfast they are consistent. Consistently suck that is and their food gives me the kind of a gas that only a protuberant fat kid or elderly woman could understand. I ordered a #2 with no special instructions, unlike this one chick I know who asks for "fresh mcnuggets" at 2am and expects to get them. Remind me next time I see her to ask exactly where on the chicken you can find the mcnugget. On second thought forget that. "Pull ahead please and we'll bring it out to you" 17 minutes later AND 2 trips by some poor, scared kid that they kept sending out to the van to give me the wrong order, I finally got my #2 complete with stale bun and lifeless, lukewarm fries, along with a complementary apple pie courtesy of the manager for my inconvenience. I know better and it sucked just like it always did. Life is to short for boring food. Somehow this is Nova's fault I just haven't figured out how to pin it on her yet. Worst service ever.

This place sucks... The people working there had speech impediments and I literally couldn't understand a word anyone said. They messed up the order 3 times. The food was ok in the end but it was so difficult to order.

Recently remodeled. Food has been wayyyyyy better lately and the drive thru is making sure my orders are correct. Why the fifth star? They have not been "cleaning the ice cream machine" every damn time I go there, unlike in the past.

Last night I had McDonald's and the staff was very rude, acted as if I was nuisance to them. Pulling up to pay, she said the total with a blank stare on her face and took my money and didn't say one word to me. Once I pulled up to get my food, the lady that was handing the food was laughing and yelling to other co workers. And handed my food and closed the door. Once home, my food was cold and I had a hair on my chicken nuggets. Is it that hard to prepare food at McDonalds? Will definitely not be coming back.

One of the worst places to be terrible service worthless workers no one seems knowledgeable about anything and they always make you feel like the black sheep took them almost 45 minutes to get one shake and then it wasn't even the right flavor I will never go here again

Always medium or cold fries. Very slow or rude service. I really wish they would get new management, since it is the only drive thru in pleasant hill.

Went there at about 9pm on a Saturday. Service was terrible. Ordered a McRib sandwich. The meat was on the bun and the bbq sauce was spilled inside the box it was a huge mess. Our drinks were luke warm with no ice the fries were cold. The kids working in there did not seem to care at all about being there and did as little as possible. This place has been added to my never go back to list.

Went there for chicken mc nuggets. At 930pm. I ordered 2 20 piece nuggets. Was pulled forward anx waited atleast 5 mins. When i got my order therd was 4 boxes and 3 of the boxes were old and cold. And a few in the forth box were fresh. If you pull a car forward it makes since to make the whole order fresh for the inconvience

Staff to busy visiting with a former co worker who got fired.Finally a non English speaking worker attempted to take our order but could not communicate in English.Place is a joke.

Hardworking but slow. Only ordered two sandwiches and wanted cookies. However, they were out and lady said it would take 10 mins, so we passed on cookies (no big deal). By the time we got our two sandwiches we waited long enough for a fresh batch to come out. Overall, staff were not welcoming, slow service, food was fine.

Worst McDonalds ever. How does a McDonalds run out of coke? They do not turn their shake machines on when it's cold outside and they do not check their orders before giving to customers in drive through. Went back 4 times through drive through because order was wrong each time. Finally requested our money back. This is not the first time. Will never go back. Save your money folks.
