I generally come to this location because it's on the way to most anything that I do. But this location never stands up to the others in my opinion. This is the only McDonald's I drive up to, and worry they'll mess it up, or not have something I'm looking to order, or not offer good customer service.
For example, yesterday I came through and both drive thru girls were so sweet and offered good vibes.
Today, I came through to order the same exact thing because it was delicious and I actually really liked my vanilla iced coffee (and I had a coupon lol). But I didn't have a great time in the drive thru. They must've been busy, but no one smiled or asked me if I needed anything else or wish me a good day. I just didn't feel welcome coming through. But I get it, I used to work in food service for many years and sometimes I could feel I wasn't giving my best effort.
Was handed the iced coffee and it looked horrible. Asked if it was the vanilla iced coffee and she lightly nodded and handed it to me. About 3/4th creamer and the rest coffee--okay maybe it'll taste good if I mix it up. Didn't taste any vanilla syrup--well I can manage with plain iced coffee I guess. Then as I kept trying to love it, I couldn't taste ANY coffee.
Very irritated since I just got home, I drove back, went inside because I didn't want to deal with the drive thru ladies again, and got a really really nice cashier. I didn't catch her name. But she apologized and told a manager who then looked at me and yelled for her to remake it with a touch of attitude. Honestly, felt sorry for the cashier. She seemed newer. She came back and asked if I could taste it and if I wanted it sweeter, she could put more vanilla in it. Much better customer service than anyone else there today.
I'll just go back to my Starbucks because honestly what was I thinking.
