I ordered Tim Horton and was feeling a little sick, so I rested in the 2nd floor. very nice that the music wasn’t very loud and there were plenty of spaces left to sit. Also nice that the employees didn’t really care. that is how it’s supposed to be!

I stopped in here when I didn’t feel like going far, and overall the experience was “okay” — neither great nor terrible. What I liked: • It’s super convenient given the location — very close to the hotel, which means no long walk or travel when you just want something quick. • The staff was polite, for the most part. They seemed reasonably efficient when there wasn’t a huge line. • The food is what I expect from McDonald’s: decent standard fare, familiar taste, nothing surprising but nothing awful either. What could be better: • During busy times, the service slows down noticeably. The line moved slowly, and a few orders were messed up or delayed. • Cleanliness could be improved: some tables weren’t cleared, and the trays had crumbs or sauces left over. The floors looked a little sticky in spots. • The inside seating is cramped, and there weren’t many open tables. It didn’t feel super comfortable to sit and eat; more like a grab-and-go place. • Prices seem a touch high here compared to what I’m used to, especially for what you’re getting. Verdict: A solid “grab what you need” kind of spot if you’re in a hurry or want something very familiar. If you’re looking for something pleasant, relaxing, or special, this McDonald’s isn’t it. But for what it is — fast food close by — it does the job well enough.

McDonald’s always delivers on what it promises—quick service and reliably tasty food. Whether it's a crispy McChicken, fresh fries, or a classic Big Mac, the quality here was exactly as expected: fresh, hot, and satisfying. The service was prompt without much delay even during busier hours. However, the ambience could use some improvement. While the place is clean and functional, the overall environment feels a bit cold and uninviting. The staff did their job well, but a warmer attitude or a friendly greeting would go a long way in making customers feel more welcome. Still, for a quick bite or a casual meal, this McDonald’s does the job. If you’re here for good fast food and quick service, it won’t disappoint. Just don’t expect a cozy, welcoming dining vibe.

McDonalds food is great. Fresh food most time. Restaurant dirty, unwelcoming unfriendly staff members. This location is perfectly located right on St Jean Street, no parking available but some along the street if you are lucky.

I consider it a sin to have McDonald's when on a trip as I prefer to experience local eateries but my friend wanted to try their new veggie burger. The place was actually clean unlike the usual branches in Montreal. The staff seem to really look after the cleanliness and organization. The food was good.

Food is good but low rating is due to poor customer service. Went there to buy food for couple of times couple of weeks back but every time communication was a big issue. Either the staff don’t know English at all or they don’t want to communicate in English. Either way was disastrous. Gave wrong order and then started misbehaving that they don’t what we were ordering. Also started speaking in French with us and fellow personnel. Such poor communication at such a prime tourist spot is pathetic management policy of McDonalds and cast a bad reputation for such a big company.

Burnt Patty – Really Disappointed Ordered the Spicy Chicken Burger and was seriously let down. The chicken patty tasted burnt—not crispy or grilled, just bitter and overcooked. It ruined the entire burger. We expect consistency from a brand like McDonald's, but this was far from it. Quality control clearly went out the window on this one. Very disappointing experience. Definitely not what we paid for.

Dec2024 Quebec City old town's quaint McDonalds singular outlet built to match the old architectural feel of the Upper Town section. The exteriors are only the particular aspect and inside is the typical fastfokd chain. But do check out the seasonal menu changes as well as for foreigners what sets Canadian McDo outlets apart from the rest.

Quick service and ordering is via a digital screen. No interaction with a person. Great for me since I don't speak French. Plenty of seating upstairs. Also has a self service soda bar.

The low review is NOT against the staff. The staff are hard working. The food - it's comfort bad fast food that will give you a heart attack if you eat it everyday. But sometimes you just need McDonald's to help fill you up after a meal. The 2 stars is for the ambiance: the place is dirty due to a lot of foot traffic. This location is a block in after the "gate" going into old Quebec. Floor is dirty, there's a broken window that's being replaced. It's not a place to be in st any time of the day. Just get your food. Get out.

I dropped by this McDonald's for a quick cheap burger . Maybe it was cheap but not quick. I ordered a double hamburger (nothing else) and it took 20 minutes! I asked the server if they were killing the cow. I was given a filthy look. The restaurant was dirty and drunk like B.O. Plus! The burger finally was ready and it was greasy. It had grease stains on the wrapper too. I was hungry so I ate it, after praying If be ok after. Luckily I was. I wanted to order an ice coffee but was worried about how long it'd take so I left. I didn't bother to use the washroom either. I was afraid of what Is find in there. Avoid this one unless you're starving. Not a good place. Typo-the restaurant was dirty and stunk like BO Plus!

I don't usually review fast food restaurants but this particular McD's is way above average so I'm making an exception. First, look how nice the upstairs seating area is! (See photo). Next, this McDonald's sells poutine! ($1.90 Canadian). It wasn't as flavorful as restaurant poutine but it was still pretty damn tasty. My Asian salad with grilled chicken ($8.59) was actually amazing and better quality/fresher than many salads I've been served in restaurants. (See photo). The small berry smoothie was tangy and perfect and cost only 80 cents! We ordered from a large touchscreen menu. The interface was easy to understand. We paid with a debit card right at the order screen. We got a number, and the process of getting our order from the counter was very smooth. Employees called out the order numbers. A screen also displayed what order number was being brought out. Two payphones are at this location. You can have food delivery from here with Uber Eats.

Great coffee and muffins. I had the whole grain muffin with fruit in it We went here twice. It was excellent and you can't beat the price.

Time doesn't count toward your order here. So far we have been waiting for our salad and a burger for more than 30min now and still no sign of coming out and it's not packed, not busy at all. Canadian do take time to cook salad and a burger. McDonald's Corp might wanna take a closer look at this location. PS. Not busy, not packed Finally got my order but nightmare continued, my burger is so dry, tick. Tasted like a piece of paper.

After trying many fine-cuisine restaurants in Québec and having some of the most wonderful food I've ever had in my life, my husband and I thought it would be fun to have McDonald's for dinner. We actually never eat McDonald's in the US, as we're both pescatarian and eat very healthy. But why not? if you're going to eat at McDonald's this is the location-right in the heart of shopping and a spectacular view from upstairs. We had the fish sandwich and fries (yes, I know what they're cooked in but I was starving after walking up and down Saint-Jean all day.) My husband noticed the fish had more calories but also more protein than he American sandwich..? The French fries container had a Canadian maple leaf on the M arch. Interesting too were the gargoyle light posts! Dinner was actually very romantic and we loved it as much as we would have loved a $90 dinner at an outdoor bistro (and yes two meals were going for $90.)

Unfriendly staff. Asked for ketchup and was told it was in the bag. Looked through and didn't see it so I told them it's not there and without any word, they put some in. Had to remind them that I don't see the smoothie. They grabbed it from behind the counter and gave it to me. Got home only to realize 1McChicken is missing. Walked back and let them know. No apology at all but they did check the receipt and put one in the bag we brought back with us. The most disappointing point leading to my poor rating was that I found 2 pieces of PLASTIC in my McFlurry. Of course I couldn't finish it. Very disappointing.

Ok, so I know I went to Quebec to try new things but I found myself in my hotel room full of hungover relatives on a Friday morning. I was the only clear headed person and I needed greasy carbs. And fast. So I ran down Rue Saint-Jean to the McDonalds I saw when I left my relatives at a bar the night before (it was too effing cold for me, this why I wasn't hungover). Anyway I got there and I don't speak French. And only one of the employees spoke English. I hate that I don't remember her name but she really went the extra mile for me. I had a large order and she helped me get it right. Also the store was very modern and very clean. That was pretty much a universal comment I had for all of Quebec though. Good job Canada! Be proud!

Very so service. Service seems To be very laid back. One of the worker kept walking around and yelling at people including customers. Weird.. They don't carry Big Mac sauce...? What?
