McDonald's

I was traveling across the border and my cousins wanted to stop for some food and after eating, we all used the bathroom and for how busy this place is with all the foot traffic, the bathroom needs to be way cleaner than this. I wasn’t even finished with my food, but this made me lose my appetite, especially with the smell and with feces smeared everywhere.

When the big mac is no longer big macking. The service was definitely good at this location. The big mac is just disappointing. Super thin "burger" patty, more bread and vegetables.

Ordered 2 Steak bagels meals and both bagels were burnt and extra crispy even after the second set of "fresh" bagels were remade for us! They need to recalibrate those grills, not even my dog wanted them.

Order only a double cheeseburger on the app. Said I was there 3 minutes early. Every person who ordered at the drive thru got their food before me. They made me wait off to the side for my single cheeseburger. Since they didn't like my uniform they poured tons and tons of salt on my burger. I asked for the supervisor and the girl who brought me my burger said there was no supervisor and that she was in charge. Lourdes you are a liar.

The food was ok for a fast food restaurant, THE RESTROOMS on the other hand were disgusting horrible smell and Sooo dirty. The lady was cleaning the front door instead of taking care of the restroom. They closed dining at 12 a.m. it was 12:02 a.m. when she was closing the door ( there were still a few of us inside ) and two kids literally a little girl about 7 and the boy about 13 tried coming in to use the restroom he begged her to let them in he said they would be quick and she locked them out and said no then walked away leaving them out there. We even told her they were kids and what if they were in danger . She ignored us and kept "sweeping" .

Low key the employees are very attentive and kind considering the volume of people that come to this location Classic McDonald's, large parking lot.

Good place to wait and grab a cheap bite. They do clean and sanitize the tables regularly. The staff is pretty friendly. Service is quick, though the kiosks are temporarily shut down, that would speed up ordering. Pretty busy McDs since it's in the border crossing area.

Dont get large fries here! They will only fill it up half way... i mean look at the picture, are you serious! I paid $5 to get half full fries... and the burgers were all smashed up... mcdonalds you really need to do better!

The review is for the tortures loud Christian mid west country music being blasted super loud that make you want to throw up. Please change the music or lower it and have McDonalds corporate seperate church from business.

Just like any other McDonalds. Plenty of traffic due to the proximity to the border. Staff should be bilingual. Had staff straight up ignore my requests because they acted like they didn't understand English. It's occasionally very busy. So I can understand if they can feel overwhelmed at times. Its still no excuse. What gives?

I visited this McDonald's after crossing the border, expecting it to be open until 1 AM as stated both online and on their door display. However, when I knocked, an employee informed me they actually close at 12. I pointed out that the door clearly states a 1 AM closing time, but he rudely insisted they close at 12. Corporate should really look into this store, as the staff's attitude is unpleasant and the ratings for this location are poor.

First of all they always open until 4 10am..Now go into dine área AND not able to order as the helpers aré just chit chatting not taking care of cuatomers..

The Service is bad, one time my bf went and they asked for the code and didnt say anything back. the second time they asked for his code but didnt reply till 3 mins later.. and said thank you.Besides that the food is good and fresh!

There is literally dirt on the bun!!! Horrible!! Do not go here unless you like dirt!

I don't usually eat fast food however, I do make an exception, when I want to try regional menu items that aren't available - in this case, it was the Chorizo Burrito. 2 for $3 The McDonald's is on the border thus it's paid parking, if you're leaving your car in the lot, for an extended period of time. I don't know what that time is but a friend left her car there for over six hours and paid $7. After I ordered, someone told me that this location also offers Horchata, but I didn't feel like waiting in line again. Business was steady. As for the burritos - it's a day later and I didn't get sick. :-P It's a typical soft, flour tortilla with a handful of ingredients. When I say handful, I mean it's a handful, period. See pics. I wanted to try and the Chorizo used must be watered down because it lacked that spiciness I'm used to. But it wasn't bad though. I don't know if I'll order it again but I can say that I've been there and done that.

An iconic american staple losing its allure. Stopped by this location by the Otay Mesa border crossing to get the kid a mcflurry and got what looked like a half eaten cup. When I asked the skinny blonde kid with colored eyes. He answered "well that's the way they come." How about I give you what looks like a half eaten burger and tell you "well thats the way they come." Corp McDonalds really needs to up their standards.

I'm not a big fast food fan, but this place was just what I needed. I had an appointment at the Sentri office right down the street and then had 90 minutes to kill before I met some people on the Mexico side of the pedestrian crossing. The afternoon drink special was a good deal. I bought a mocha frappe and then got a raspberry/pomegranate smoothie free. The wifi signal was stronger than in loads of places. No password necessary. So on a hot Wednesday afternoon in Otay Mesa, McDonald's became my office.

Worst quality of hamburgers don't come here bad McDonald's location ever Bought 4 bigmacs none were fresh . . Buns were dry everything about it was bad didn't even taste like a goddam Big Mac . . Don't come here or else you're gonna get food poisoned talking from experience yesterday I crossed the border and went straight to this mcdonalds idk what it was but the mac special sauce tasted sour (probaly expired ) which resulted in me getting food poisoning so not fair

Shitty staff, shitty management, cold ass food done wrong. Don't visit this establishment unless u absolutely have to and/or hate yourself enough to want to make a stop.

Bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. This girl came to "mop" and all she did was wet the floor and nothing was even picked up. Ordered "food" and no hash brown was brought to my deluxe and pure sugar was given when asked for Splenda specifically. I have little to no hopes for a McDonald's but somehow this one made all the other ones I've been to appear like a Michelin star

I've been coming here for over 8 years. Their breakfast shift is amazing. Some of the staff are long term employees who love what they do. That translates into a good buying experience. Out of 50 drive thru's never once a wrong order!

This place is horrible!! So upset with their service ! My Big Mac wasn't even considered a Big Mac , no sauce !

This place is decent.....I normally avoid reviewing franchises unless they have something unique, locally...which is what I found with this McDonald's. Near the border, happen to drop by this Mickey D once a month from time to time...before border crossing..I keep taking the coffee and their chorizo burrito for granted, but this is the only place I can find the chorizo burrito... I couldn't find it any other McDonald's in OC... they have their typical menu, but what I like is their special Chorizo burrito, 2 for $3. And...their coffee is still $1, regardless of the size!. ...some McDonald's in OC raised their coffee prices to $1.39, and that is a SMALL. Medium and Large costs more. For what you pay, it's fair and decent.....nice!

Probably the worst McDonald's I've ever been to... Food took forever and came out lukewarm and soggy... Even the apple pies were cold... Would have given it one star but the staff was not rude (surprisingly) and they looked like they were trying their best... You would think the McDonald's at one of the busiest border crossings in the world would have better standards...

Good food but the restrooms are really dirty good for eatong when you come back from tj but i wouldnt go on a daily basis

If your selling the dollar soda or coffee at least fill it up , it is not the first time!!!!

I came to this McDonald's on tuesday, feb. 25, 2020 at 11:55pm. Drove up to the "24/7" drive thru and didn't get a response from the voice box. Waiting a good 5 minutes, since sometimes McDonald's is busy at time. No answer. Pulled up to the window and I see a male employee wearing his AirPods and sanitizing the counter. I kept waving and honking at him to grab his attention and he just ignored me. Is this really a 24/7 drive thru? Why didn't the employee just tell me they were closed or something, yet I see a gal eating outside in the patio with her freshly made McDonald's. You need to rethink your workers here McDonald's. Shame on you guys

I ordered my meal and when I asked for a bag to go one employee completed ignored me but when I had his attention he told another employee what I wanted yet no one came to give me my bag. Trash customer service.

I stopped by for breakfast and this is not a review of the food or anything like that, since I am not a fan, but the customer service that resulted from my order. To make the story short, I got double charged, my order plus one I did not make at 7:41 AM. I later went to wash my car at a soapy joe's then went to O'Reilly's, my point here is that a few hours passed and I threw away my receipt. I checked my bank statements at about 11:10-11:25 a full 3.5 hours later and went back sans receipt and showed them my statements and explained my experience. They did ask me a few questions, they do have to cover their own bases and make sure they themselves aren't getting refund scammed or I'm making a mistake because of transaction posting times or anything like that after all, and figured out mostly what happened and I walked out with my refund in under half an hour. Many will argue this extra charge should not have happened but mistakes happen and I appreciate the professionalism that ensued when it was discovered. No rude words were exchanged, no condescending tones given, just a few questions and a refund after that.

I have been to this McDonald's multiple times. I love soft serve ice cream from McDonald's. This McDonald's machine never works. On many occasions.

I rarely eat fast food. But it was just one of those days.... I came to Mc Ds and this was one of the cleanest updated ones I have ever been to.

Came in on my way back from Mexico, we went threw the drive thru, and as we gave my son his happy meal we see instead of chicken nuggets and apple slices , they had given us a hamburger and go gurt . I went in to have them fix my order they changed my order , as I go back to the car my fiance shows me his fries and they were stale and cold , when I go back inside the cashier who origanally attended me exclaims in spanish and in an attitude, thinking I didn't understand her Oh My God! Can you take care of her . I wouldn't recommend this place has bad customer service, there was no remorse for they're mistake .

Pretty good restaurant over all. The store is clean the people are very nice. Even the outside was very clean on the day that I went. A lot of border traffic seems to create a lot of wait time if you walk in, but I've gone several times and have always gotten a perfect order. I've also noticed that there are never out of inventory.

They have switched the iconic soft roll in their Filet o' Fish to a standard hamburger bun! I may never have another Filet o' Fish again!! :(
