I placed my order and paid at 12:07 p.m. At 12:40, I asked a staff member about it and showed her my receipt. She told me that the food would be brought to me once it was ready, so I continued waiting. I ended up waiting for an entire hour until another staff member finally noticed me still sitting there. After checking my order twice, she went into the kitchen and finally prepared my meal. Their behavior of ignoring a customer’s request made me decide that this would be the last time I visit this restaurant. Even though I work nearby and my family studies close to this location, neither I nor my family will ever come back here again. Since today was my first time dining here alone, I didn’t order much.

It's been 2 weeks that I know of and their hot mocha machine has supposedly been broken. This McDonald's charges a premium on the whole menu compared to all other McDonald's, and they can't even afford to fix there equipment in a timely manner. Now i have to drive across town to what is fortunately a more reasonable priced Mcdonalds.

I asked this man to clean my table, he said yes then didn’t get back to me for 20 minutes. After 10 minutes he went through every single table except mine to clean and when I addressed to him that my table wasn’t cleaned despite him saying he would he then walked away from me. I don’t know if he ever cleaned the table because I left after 24 minutes but for the cleaning job he did to the other tables he would just swipe m an wet towel on the table overly rushed without picking up the food remaining on the table. I don’t expect much from McDonald’s but wow! This is an caution for anyone who wants to sit down to eat at McDonald’s

Average McDonald's location. Drive through long at night. Inside it looked very crowded and overstimulating. What sucked is the portions, I orded a large fry and I swear it was smaller than what meduim used to be😫 Probably will try a McDonald's further south next time to avoid the city crowd.

I am a DoorDash driver, and based on my personal observation and how the situation felt to me, I experienced something concerning at this location. My order was already prepared, yet I was kept waiting for about ten minutes. During that time, it felt like the order was being intentionally held instead of being handed to the current driver. I personally felt and observed that they might have been waiting for the driver to cancel the order. What stood out to me was that a specific driver—who appeared to be familiar with the staff—came to the restaurant multiple times during my wait. Each time that driver arrived, the order was handed over almost immediately. I noticed this happen more than once, which made the difference in treatment feel very noticeable. I cannot say this for certain, but this was my personal experience and observation, and I wanted to share it so others are aware.

This McDonald’s should win an award for “Longest Wait in a Fast-Food Drive-Thru.” I’m not exaggerating the DMV moves faster than this place. I’ve been here more times than I’d like to admit, and every single time I think, “Maybe today will be different.” Spoiler: it never is. Currently, there are four cars ahead of me, and I’ve been sitting here long enough to question my life choices, write this review, and probably age a year. Customer service? Let’s just say it’s the perfect example of what happens when time stops meaning anything. If you ever want to experience what eternity feels like, skip church just pull up to this McDonald’s drive-thru. Bring snacks (from somewhere else), you’ll be here a while.

The drivethru is painfully slow. I've been to macdons all over the world and this one is the most slow. A handful of times people have come up to our window and asked for money while waiting. I've gone inside a few times and it's also very slow, although a great place to watch other people live their life. I'm invisible and no one can see me so maybe that's why the food was so slow. Get Ronald back in the workspace to motivate his employees!!! My overall impression is that they need support and love from management and better pay to make sure the job gets done

This used to be a good McDonalds. I ate here a lot, too much. But recently it has become the slowest slog of poor service by grumpy people you've ever seen. Last time I came it was 25 minutes to get through the drive thru, including 12 minutes where I sat at the food window watching them scramble around like headless chickens. When my food was finally ready the window worker practically threw it at me. Today it was 31 minutes, so it's getting worse. Maybe they laid off a bunch of people to try to save money but I won't be back until I see some positive reviews. 1 star for being awful plus 1 star for bringing back the McRib.

The team needs to get their act together. Drive-thru had a long line of cars, so I thought I would be smart and try to beat the wait by going in the store. My order took way too long to come out. Is McDonalds still considered fast food?! This was not fast at all. I could of went next door to get some dim sum in less time. Do better please...

It hadn't been that long since my review here. But sometimes a positive update is deserved and appropriate. In recent months, going to the Ocean Avenue Whole Foods around 9 am every other Sunday became my routine. After shopping, I would drive across the street to pick up breakfast for myself and someone else in my household. Actually, it'd be breakfast and two more later in the week with my regular order of two Egg McMuffins, two hash browns, and two breakfast sausage burritos (add four packets of ketchup, two mild salsa packs, and two spicy salsa packs) - that's for two people now, NOT all me. Throw in a slushy and I'd have a not so healthy but mouthwatering morning starter. I'd sip on my fruit flavored slushy and eat my hash brown with two packets of ketchup to wake up my stomach. And who do I have to thank? Big props and thanks to David at the drive-up window who never fails to get my order right; especially with those sauce requests. I've come here weekday late afternoons when craving those delectable French Fries (who does it better?...) and, never fails, I get less than or no ketchup packets though specifically requesting four packets. It's no fun having to scrounge for leftover fast food ketchup packets to eat their fries. Looking forward to stopping in on a Sunday morning again soon.

Why is this mc Donald so slow? Line are like 20ish min long ( drive thru). Can they work any faster?

I know that I gave this place five stars because they're awesome with the drive-through and attend the delivery people very well. But if you are a walk-in here's what you are in for: 1. A kiosk that you have to order so this place is not elderly friendly 2. Slow order times where in the most pressing times when the kitchen is understaffed, you'll get your orders wrong (imagine a Big Mac but no lettuce, pickles, sauce!) 3. Long wait times to reaching nearly 45 minutes at a time. And prior to the recent makeover of the franchise, the place has always been gradually getting slower (circa 2018 or so), so it's been roughly six years as of the time of this write up. So understand that this franchise is not really for walk-ins that want an "in-and-out" experience. It is, though, for the following: #1 The Drive Thru customer #2 The Delivery Guy #3 The App Customer If you are any of these people, you're in for a good customer service. If you are just a walk-in that wants to hang out, enjoy the Wi-Fi, or just someone that wants to order something and then leave in less than 15 min, you are out of luck. So to all walk-ins: enter knowing the risk of the wait time. Bring a video game or a book.

French fries are the goat and Oreo McFlurry is the-bomb wait time is only like 5 minutes workers are friendly

The worst Mcdonald's ever... They have homeless people sleeping where people eat. They don't do anything about it and the workers will act like everything is normal. Don't come here unless you are comfortable with eating besides the homeless!!!

It used to be my favorite fast food restaurant because it was closest to my house. Now it becomes a slow food restaurant and it takes my order to be ready in an average of 20 minutes during so so busy hours. I even tried to order it online to avoid waiting in line and I still had to wait about 15 minutes after arriving at the restaurant to pick up my order. Now my favorite location is in Daly City next to Cow Palace. Much better place.

I was here to take a stop with my family because we were on road trip and needed to use the bathroom I went in and the door and it was stuck so I asked an employee and she started yelling at me for no reason then it had a lot of smoking

Sandwich was nothing like the picture, came with no lettuce, tomato or sauce. Seems like they intentionally put it out that way.

Come here often, food is fresh and good most of the time. Although, there are often long waits, up to 30 mins due to it being busy with not enough workers. There are also fights here once in a while and I almost witnessed one a few years ago.

I decided to come here in the morning to pick up some breakfast because my wife wanted some pancakes. Everything was great, I ordered on the mobile app and the food was ready a few minutes after showing up. The food is consistent as always and no complaints!

This is one of the only places I go to for a late night snack (partly since this is open 24/7) and it never disappoints.

that was the longest McDonald's line I've ever been in...and it had the least cars of any McDonald's line I've ever been in!!! (2 cars...literally). We also ordered ahead and it still took that long, and in the end...they still got my order wrong such a joke!!!

McDonald's!! Ba-da-ba-ba-ba, I'm lovin' it! Or must I? It's been so long since I went to McDonald's several times; only this time, I seldom check in and finally write a review. First off, I like how McDonald's exterior had been remodeled. So as its interior now that the pair of self service technological features were just like the ones the other McDonald's had in Sutter as well as in Stonestown. But the quality of its burgers and fries and other food selections were as mediocre as other commercial related fast food joints. Back then, I once had the first chicken salad as filling as the happy meal. Next time if I ever feel hungry, I opt for the chicken salad or McPlant burger (if it'll come around once again). Since my brother has a car, drive thru was absolutely perfect for him. His best meal was Chicken McNuggets. Overall, I still want McDonald's to stay open for business in Ocean Avenue if I one day were to get close to being broke. Whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner, McDonald's will always be there to satisfy one's cravings.

This place has really gone downhill. It used to be so much better in the 90's. I ordered from the drive thru today 12/7/2022 at 2:21pm. I ordered a large fry and a 20 piece chicken nuggets with sweet and sour sauce. I had to repeat my sauce 3 times. The worst part is that they didn't even give me my sauce. I realized that after I got home. The nuggets weren't even hot and the fries were super choppy like left over crumbs. They barely even salted my fries. You don't mess with a girl who is hangry. I am so upset! I said my order loud and clear and even the guy on the screen got my order right, but when it came to bagging my order, why is it that this particular location always forgets to give me my sauce?! I'm really ticked off by this. I even called McDonald's FIVE TIMES and nobody answered. I let it ring until it went to voicemail. How are you having people working, but not actually working? You can't come answer the phone because you're that busy?! This is unacceptable!!

Imagine waiting for food for almost half an hour to one hour. But it seems like they prioritized drive through people more than people waiting for their food inside....

Looks like the workers here don't want to work. The guy with tattoo who's calling order number is rude, the fish sandwich is so burnt and tastes wrong. We won't come to this location no more....

I waited 30 minutes for my food only for them to tell me that they had no more drinks and that they refunded me which they didn't. I also ordered a medium meal and received a small fry. The lady at the front was wiping down trays and not helping anybody, And wiping down the trays with the same towel. No one speaks English so communication was very limited. No one wanted to help customers and the store was PACKED. Nuggets were undercooked. Whole restaurant was disgusting. Disappointing way to spend dinner as an out-of-town visitor getting dinner before heading back home.

Horrible customer service, I asked 3 times for my order, which was visibly prepped, tagged, and finished. The workers said "ok" and then proceeded not to give it to me. A man next to me spotted that too, and noticed that i wasnt getting my order. The inside was messy, and the food is okay, you cant expect much from fast food can you?

This McDonald's is understaffed or something is wrong with the management . The wait is longer than other place. You can see only one person wrapping food in the kitchen, one person cooking the meat and bun, helping pack food and taking dine in order. One person doing drive thru and helping wrap food to speed it up (saw them use the same drive thru gloves to wrap food once, very gross). Since the Stonetown McDonald's closed, this location needs to have more staff. Look at my sandwich, all burnt. If they have more people working, this might not have happened. I had to throw away the top muffin layer. How can they sell this to their customers? Horrible food and slow service. After I had this I had to run to the bathroom twice. This is all ate the morning.

Here is an order placed again where the preparation did not match what was placed on the order. I never get the XTRA stuff that I add for some strange reason each burger was made like the cook just freestyled.

The food is like any other McDonald's. But service really needs work. I hate getting home to find out they forgot an item that I ordered. This has been happening quite often. Recently I ordered a Big Mac, two cheeseburgers and fries. Got my order(I know I should've checked before I drove off). Went home and noticed my fries aren't there. They're always screwing up here.

Worst McDonald's ever. I've been here 4 times and same order every time. Two cheeseburgers with extra pickles and extra onions. Not once has that order been correct.... Seems like a pretty simple order, right? I've gotten cheeseburgers with no onions, no pickles twice. Received 2 orders with the normal 2 pickles, no onions. I only eat McDonald's like once every 2 months. So when I do go, I'd like to receive the food that I pay for & order. This Mcdonalds location has terrible attention to detail. The manager needs to crack down on following the order instructions. It's really not that difficult to follow customer order instructions.

This is not the best location, but you cannot expect too much from a McDonald's. They has a small parking lot, but it is usually is not too full. Most tables were dirty, as well as the floors surrounding/under the tables (a lot of used cigarette butts, which is not something I have seen inside before). Service was horrible, it was hard to get the attention of anyone in the back behind the counter, even for some napkins (they do not put any in the bag anymore?). I had the Filet-O-Fish and it surprisingly came in a roundish generic looking box with no logos/writing instead of the usual regular square box with the logo/writing. The food tasted okay, but there was way too much sauce, so it was a bit hard to eat. Overall, the food was eh, but the service and area was not good.

as a big fan of mcdonald's this place sucks. terrible customer service. every single time i've been there's been homeless people in the drive thru harassing people in their cars and then you get to the window and the person doesn't talk to you or if they do they act like you've done something to them. and they make you pay extra for sauces that they don't even give you. waste of money and time.

The past 3 mornings, I have gone around 5:45am and I feel like I am getting ripped off. I order a breakfast meal #7 burritos with orange juice and a medium or large mocha. I keep getting handed a small mocha and paying $15.00 for everything. Worse yet the small isn't even filled up all the way. I am not understanding why this location has gone down hill. I work nearby and I even went for lunch only to be given the wrong meal once, had to return to exchange it. Then the second lunch time, I got small drink and fries when I paid to supersize. Not only is this worthy of a negative review- you lost my patronage. Sadly, I am not the only person, I had to hear a few cars before me complain and create a long line because their orders were wrong. McDonald's Ocean might want to retrain your morning crew (guy) or just hire a better person. Sorry- really disappointing. ps. if you ask for a receipt. don't crumple it up and say sorry. now I really feel like someone is skimming off of their till.

Time & Date: 5pm, March 10th 2021 Ordered: Doordash Item: Spicy Chicken Sandwich ($5.99) At first glance, this crispy chicken sandwich definitely looks very appetizing. The verdict: delicious! It tastes very similar to the Popeyes spicy chicken sandwich, but this one is smaller in size, the bun is flat, and the chicken patty is smaller. Although, it was much spicier than the Popeyes one. You probably get better bang for your buck at Popeyes, but I enjoyed this one because it was less salty. Would definitely order again!

Idk man i got great customer service here. 5/5 for me in terms of doing deliveries! Might be 2/5 for sometimes longer wait times because customer service is great.

I order a large Coke Icee They gave me a large Hi-C orange soda so I told her that that is not what I order. She gave me a small Coke Icy and said this is three dollars I only pay $1.69 It is not my fault that you cannot speak English Hire people that could speak English.

For me McDonalds is my Goto when I am on the move, and wanting a Coffee be it Hot or Iced, and sometimes when I get a Craving for Fries :) As always I order via the McDonalds application because it helps eliminate most issues making my interactions with the staff a tad less painful. The order this afternoon was, an Iced Hazel Nut Coffee minus the Ice! My mistake though at 4:00pm + was using the Drive Thru, Schools had gotten out and the cars moved along at a snails pace in the parking lot. But once I got to the Menu Speaker though it was easy to confirm my order and a few moments later a beverage was in hand. FYI: The location is busy most hours so be kind to the staff :)

took over an hour to get my order and no one was at the counter the whole time for me to even ask for a refund. even people from the drive in line and people who have done online pick up orders have come in to ask why they're still waiting 30-40 minutes for their food. absolutely ridiculous and probably never going to eat at mcdonald's again cause this whole experience was ridiculous.

What is the point of them asking what size meal do you want? I said medium at first they put large when I was ordering which was fine. I'm kind of hungry anyway so I just left it as it is soon as I got my food at the window as I drove out later, I noticed they gave me small fries and fries bag said S on it and it was a small amount of fries too, why bother to ask what size you might as well give me a small meal. This place is a rip off because of that male with that weird beard and mustache he's very rude also he gets mad when you ask for condiments and napkins. Aren't they supposed to give you napkins and ketchup at least without you having to ask or at least napkins? Every other employee was more polite except for him. They should probably just fire him because he does not like his job.

The spicy chicken sandwich is hella good though, hella spicy, and the pickle compliments the creamy spicy sauce and the juicy chicken really well. The fried, well I had to eat it without ketchup so fck these college kid.

Ordered food to eat in and it was ordered at 12:20pm and it's been over 20 minutes so far and still waiting. Normally if you pick up though or get it to go it's way faster. Tables are fairly dirty.

Came here June 12th, 2021. On this day it was hot and I decided to get something cold to cool myself down. I ordered my family and I some treats and the lady at the first window never gave me my ice cream cone and 2 McFlurry. Instead they told me to go to the second window to get my slushie and the lady at the second window told me to back up to get the rest of my items. Luckily there was no car behind me. So I proceeded to back up and the lady handed me this sad looking flimsy ice cream cone. What gives and it doesn't even taste the same. Giving 1 star is being nice...if I could...ZERO stars.

This McDonald's is not good I got a hot coffee and when I took a sip I found a finger nail inside of my coffee. I hope this won't happen to anyone else and the employees should were gloves when making drinks.

I'm a drive-through McDonald's girl and now by necessity, everyone is. I've been to this location at least three times, always linked to a vet visit down the street so we're in, out, back on the freeway and home before someone pees. (The CAT, I meant the cat silly!) The staff is courteous, the drive thru lane moves fast and the food is always hot- must have nuclear hot fries. And, the fries are worth the stop. They add sugar to them along with salt, that's why they're truly addictive.

Whoever was working the grill on Thursday February 16 at around 10:40pm made the best double cheeseburger I've ever eaten in my life.

Like only go here if you're hungry af. I ordered 20 piece nuggets 4 sauces which is fair. I'm sharing the nuggets 10 for myself. I wanted bbq sauce, sweet & sour & tangy honey mustard. I placed my order on the mobile app so I could get a deal for the fries. Anyway instead of them giving me the tangy honey mustard I was given honey. Who puts honey on nuggets? Is this some new kinda TikTok hack I don't know about. Just check your bag before you go. Now I'm eating plain nuggets. Orders always wrong service going downhill.
