I usually don't care about appearance - but this might be the nicest McDonald's I've ever been to
It was incredibly clean, the ordering process was super convenient (there were a ton of kiosks) and there was a significant seating area.
Impressive!
I got the Big Mac - which it was my first time having.
This burger is interesting - as it's famously known, it has a bun in the middle between two beef patties. Honestly though, I couldn't really tell that it was there - and the only major difference was you felt less of the flavor of the beef patties
Speaking of the beef patties, these were not very good. They were thin, floppy, flat, dry, and flavorless. I know it's McDonald's frozen patty, and its why the burger is cheap, but the fact that these sad excuse for beef patties are what's become the standard at McDonald's is disappointing
The good part though, was that every other part of this burger was pretty good. The sesame seed bun gave off the classic McDonald's-y taste, and was toasted to a pretty good level. I also enjoyed the onions, pickles, and lettuce as good toppings
The cheese also tasted pretty good as well - I liked the one slice as it wasn't overpowering the rest of the burger
My favorite part here though - was the Big Mac sauce. While yes, it tastes good because it has thousand island dressing (aka. fat), I think the addition of spices & mustard makes this a really good and addicting sauce. A lot of the flavor I enjoyed from this burger came from this sauce
This Big Mac cost me about $7, and since it was Friday, I got free fries with it. While it may be cheaper somewhere else, it's going to be tough to find a cheaper lunch in downtown Seattle for that price
Overall, it tastes like a classic McDonald's burger. Beef not so great, but everything else is good enough, and its cheap. 7.5/10
