The Best Breakfast Restaurants in Bend, Oregon | Eater Portland

"In a 1916 Craftsman-style bungalow a few blocks off Third Street, McKay’s Cottage serves creative comfort food. The menu spans an array of breakfast classics, from Benedicts and hashes to scrambles and omelets. A decadent take on stuffed French toast features croissants, filled with mascarpone and paired with marionberry compote. The omelets are fluffy and light. The chunky breakfast potatoes look plain but are flawless as a crispy exterior leads to a creamy bite of potato. Some meals come with a fresh scone and homemade jam; if it’s not already coming with the meal, the scone is a must-order addition to the table. Folks can also find other delightful baked goods made on-site including muffins, sour cream coffee cake, and pecan sticky buns — each serving large, tasty, and made with just the right amount of sweetness. Gluten-free bagels and toast are also available." - Barb Gonzalez

Had a nice brunch here. Was seated immediately and ate in the heated tent. Coffee was good. Had the Baha Chicken Hash Stack (a sort of huevos rancheros/eggs benedict hybrid), which should have been amazing, but the salsa everything was sitting on was oddly sweet and not worth eating. But, everything above the tortillas wasn't touching the sweet salsa, so I still was able to enjoy it. Anyway, I'd happily come again, but give a different menu item a try.

Had the pleasure of dining with a lovely lady on a nice fall day in November. We had Sunday Brunch in early afternoon with a few couples and groups waiting ahead of us. However, a 20-minute wait in a comfortable seat with something to drink in a nice setting seemed fine, no problem. The food was amazingly delicious! It was all I could eat, and my date took some home. The atmosphere was sunny and bright, nicely decorated, and appropriate for semi-formal dining. The service was totally, absolutely awesome! They really took care of us! Recommended! Will definitely return!

My family and friends ate Sunday brunch here while on a weekend trip to Bend. The staff were super friendly and the waiting environment outside was excellent. We loved the free coffee and fireside seating. Once inside, we sat outside and really enjoyed the cozy blanks on the chairs. This blanket feature was the most enjoyable and unexpected aspect of our meal. The food was plentiful, but arrived slightly cool and seemed to need extra salt to enhance the flavor. Not sure if we just got a bland batch of dishes, but we were surprised that we needed to request extra salt. Overall, this dining experience was delightful and highly recommended despite the seasoning deficiency.

Google
Yup, the food is good. Flavor profile abounds. Seating is tight, and the service is splendid. We arrived for breakfast and was told it would be 25 to 30 minute wait. They offered a comfortable outside waiting area with free coffee. The wait was only about 20 minutes. Perfect execution of under promes and over deliver. Hard to mess up breakfast, and they did. not. Bacon was crispy. Eggs cooked as ordered. Potatoes were over the top good, crispy without being greasy. Scone was OK, not all that, but serviceable. Parking is a bit of a pain, but it is worth it.

McKay Cottage is better than the reviews say! The food and wait staff were both absolutely wonderful. My wife and I started off with a Pecan Sticky Bun, Marionberry Bread Pudding, and some Lemonade while we waited for a table. After a brief and relaxing wait, we were seated in a quaint outdoor gazebo/tent which offered a nice reprieve from the lovely sunshine. We then ordered the Biscuits and Gravy—which had the most flavorful sausage gravy I've ever tasted smothered on top of the best biscuits you'll ever taste, along with some perfectly crispy potatoes and homemade ketchup–as well as the Carnitas Hash—which had the perfect balance of pepper, tang, and savory of any hash I've had in years! Josie was our waitress, and she was perfectly attentive to our needs and was extraordinarily kind. We will be back again, next time to try out the delicious cocktails!

My wife and I stopped here on a Saturday morning for breakfast. We were early enough that parking was easy and didn’t have to wait for a table outside. We ordered a breakfast burrito and French toast. The burrito was huge! Both meals were delicious. Our server was so kind! They gave us to go coffee cups!

Google
We enjoyed our breakfast here on a recent weekend visit to Bend. The food was very fresh and the portion sizes were very much larger than I thought they’d be. I definitely too much food. This is a nice spot but be prepared to spend quite a bit. We sat out side and the weather was perfect and the seating area was very accommodating.

Google
⭐️ Brunch Bliss🌟 I had the lemon ricotta pancake topped with fresh berries, with a side of crispy bacon, eggs, and a caramel latte. I thought it was going to be a sugar overload, but it had just the right balance of lemon and sweetness. The pancake was light and fluffy, and it paired perfectly with the savory bacon and eggs. The caramel latte added the perfect cozy touch to finish it off. Everything was delicious and beautifully balanced, such a lovely way to start the morning ☀️

Yelp
After an intense evening at the Oregon Whiskey Festival, breakfast at McKay Cottage was exactly what the doctor ordered. I went for the fruit plate, which was loaded with fresh bananas, berries, pineapple, and more--basically a perfect potassium pick-me-up. It even came with two tasty dipping options. We sat outside to enjoy the crisp Bend air, and the service couldn't have been better--friendly, attentive, and super quick. McKay Cottage definitely lived up to its reputation for great food and even better vibes. Next time, when I'm not recovering from whiskey flights, I'm definitely trying the stuffed French toast or strawberry crepes. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a delicious and relaxing breakfast in Bend!

Yelp
Lovely breakfast spot that seems to be super popular (especially on a Friday morning during the summer season). When you give your name at the parking lot entrance, they have a cute area to sit and grab a free cuppa coffee (or water). Of course they'll also take a drink order! Once seated, we gave our meal orders. The scones came out within 10 minutes, but our meals took another 30 minutes. Very delicious (eventually), but the timing was a bit awkward. Highlight was the wonderful potatoes and homemade ketchup (I bought a bottle to take home!)

Yelp
The food was very good!! It's good quality, the flavor is great and the presentation is awesome. My husband liked the French toast!! Unfortunately there were some negatives to our experience. We arrived just before opening and were seated right away. It was 45 min before we got our breakfast. The waiter did explain at the end of our meal that they had a lot of to-go orders and made them before our meal. I realize it was probably a lot to take on but in my opinion if customers take the time and effort to dine in the restaurant, they should be taken care of a bit better. The other thing I didn't care for was I ordered a 1/2 Eggs Benedict and no accompanying potatoes, just the 1/2. The waiter suggested I get fruit instead of the potatoes, so I did. The standard Eggs Benedict with potatoes is 22.00. I was billed $18.00 for the 1/2 with no potatoes and in addition I was charged for the fruit. I don't mind paying for my breakfast but it would have been nice to have been made aware, so I could make the decision about my meal. That said, we would not hesitate to return if in the area but we would be smarter about asking questions.

Yelp
I've always wanted to try this place when visiting Bend. But it's always so busy. (it seems people really like their food) It was a busy Saturday but we were able to get a table for 2 rather quickly. The setting was so homey to me. I felt like we were sitting in someone's home. It was a very well oiled machine with how well all the workers were taking care of their customers. The sandwiche was delicious and so tasty, very fresh. It was as if they had a fresh garden out there back door. Make sure you stop off at the bakery before you leave. I got some for the road and they didn't disappoint. Can't wait to go back.
google avatar

Ross T.

Yelp
We went there for breakfast the place was packed and we had to wait 30 mins for a table, but as you wait they have coffee and ice water you help your self while you wait to be called. I had the eggs Benedict with the roasted potatoes and the egg Benedict they use smoked ham in stead of Canadian bacon. The roasted potatoes were very good and also the eggs Benedict. The vegetables omelet was also very good and roasted potatoes, it also came with a scone and their own berry jam. The French toast with the fresh banana was very good and tasty. Service was fast and you can use credit card with a 3.5 percent charge or pay cash to eliminate the 3.5 extra charge. The restroom was clean and they are pet friendly and bring a water bowl for your peg and they have doggie bones in a jar.
google avatar

Yelp
The best biscuits and gravy we've had hands down. Hubby said he would drive 4 hours to have again. However, the cinnamon french toast left more to be desired. There was about a 45 minute wait which we checked on one more place nearby however similar wait time so we came back, which thankfully we our name in just in case. While waiting, they brought water with ice for our dog. They have a website that shows where you are in queue and how long your wait time has been to that point. We were seated in the very back which was perfect for my anxious pup so she did not worry about what or who is behind her. All the staff were amazing and 100% on their service. Patio had umbrella coverage with sunshine coming thru in some areas. We took in the beautiful ambiance of it all. We really need a summer home here!

Yelp
McKay Cottage lived up to its reputation as the best breakfast in Bend. We tried to come Sunday but the wait was too long (not a bad thing), so we came back on a Tuesday and got seated within 10 minutes. We enjoyed the laid back patio and tasty mimosas and fresh coffee. The Baja has stack was delicious & I couldn't eat it all. The smoked salmon benny was fresh and the salmon was smoked perfectly. The SCONES I got the Marionberry scone that came with the best French butter. I could have eaten 10 of them. Our server was attentive and we enjoyed speaking to her. If we lived in Bend, this would be a regular spot for us.
google avatar

Stacey M.

Yelp
Our server was so friendly and nice! She was very attentive and offered great recommendations, including the sticky bun, which was our favorite part of the meal! Portions are huge - I struggled to eat just the eggs on my plate, let alone the potatoes and sticky bun. Got a drip coffee which was just okay, but the bloody with the spicy vodka was phenomenal. Would recommend!!

Yelp
Looking for a breakfast spot, my husband and I made our way to McKay Cottage on a Saturday morning. We were fortunate enough to time our arrival where we arrived before the bulk of the morning brunch rush. By the time we left the restaurant, the entire parking lot was full, and there was at least a 45 minute wait. We were seated right away inside and placed our order for two cold brew coffees. The coffees came out right away and were absolutely delicious. After we placed our order for breakfast, we got deep in conversation and planning out the rest of our day. After quite some time, I looked up and realized that not only did we not have our food, but most of the other tables around us who were seated after us were already eating or wrapping up their checks. It had been 45 minutes since we had placed our food order and when I asked our waiter where our food might be, he said it was because I had ordered pancakes that it was taking so long. I glanced at the table next to ours where three individuals at that table were currently enjoying pancakes, so I'm not sure why he used that as his excuse. The hiccup with our food order perhaps being misplaced aside, the food itself was delicious. I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes with a side of chicken apple sausage. My husband ordered a chorizo hash special. He was slightly disappointed in the chorizo as it was not truly an authentic chorizo-style sausage, but more of an Italian-style sausage. The lemon ricotta pancakes were fluffy and filling. I did think it was a little bit of highway robbery to charge five dollars for a single, small chicken apple sausage that they cut in half. All in all, I think McKay Cottage could be a real five star experience if there hadn't been so many bumps along the way. If I ever find myself back in Bend, I would definitely give this place another shot.

Yelp
Soooo delicious!!! Breakfast was fresh and filling! Service was a bit slow but it was pretty busy. We sat in the "heated" tent but it wasn't heated much but they brought us blankets which was

Yelp
Wow! What a great place to nosh the morning away! We went in a Monday and the place was hopping-can't imagine what a Saturday would be like! An efficient and well oiled operation! You walk up the stairs to give your name at the host station. If you turn right there is a coffee/tea station you can enjoy while waiting. Turn thru the doorway and there is a bar and a pastry shop. We grabbed a key lime mimosa (refreshing if a bit sweet) a classic mimosa and a huckleberry scone to tide us over for our 45 minute wait. We were texted our table was ready and were seated under the tent outdoors. Lovely potted plants were doting the area. We dined in carnitas hash (carnitas, potatoes, corn) with poached eggs and salsa with classic scone on the side. I had a carnitas salad. Carnitas, corn, avocado, black beans, tomato, red pepper with a delicious cilantro lime dressing and tortilla chips. THE FRIED JALAPEÑO RINGS ARE CRACK! Emma R was our server and she was wonderful. Noted in the receipt that all tips are shared amount the staff including kitchen. Wonderful business model and clearly works well-everyone was humming along and helping each other out.

Yelp
I had breakfast here with my pup in tow. While waited to be seated I started with the Locals Lemon Drop. Beautifully presented & so tasty. They seated us at a table under the tent & near some trees. This was perfect for both me & my dog. The waitress brought him water & a huge dog bone. I had the poblano hash with 2 poached eggs & a huckleberry lemon scone. The waitress brought out the scone first & an iced dirty chai latte. Both, So incredibly delicious!! The scone was flaky & packed with berries. Then she brought out the poblano hash. Perfect amount of poblanos, potatoes & other vegetables. They put 2 perfectly poached eggs on top. With a couple dashes of their house made hot sauce, it was so good! I ordered my pup 2 pork sausages which he gobbled down. I went on a Monday, so busy but got in with only a 15 minute wait. If you go Thursday through Sunday, make a reservation!!

Yelp
Such a great little hole-in-the-wall spot! We found this place while on vacation, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, the portions were decent, and the service was top-notch. Since it was our first time, we got a free cinnamon roll and wow, it was sooo good! Our server was super friendly and fast, and the food came out quickly. It looks like it gets pretty busy on weekends, but we had a smooth experience. My boyfriend and I were sharing, and they even split everything onto two plates for us before serving, such a thoughtful touch! The decor had a cozy, homey feel, and we sat next to a bookshelf filled with cookbooks and cool recipes. Definitely check this place out if you're in town!

Yelp
It is obvious why they have such a high rating...it is that good. We were in Bend for a concert and met up with some friends that we had not seen in many years. They recommended meeting at McKay Cottage Restaurant and they could not have picked a better breakfast place. They were quoting a 30 minute wait at 10:00, and parking was full. I parked in the Petco lot nearby. Great food and server. Haeli was incredibly friendly and genuine, as she was an exceptional treat. My wife had the breakfast potatoes which she enjoyed at breakfast and later into the evening as left overs. It also came with a tasty scone that I was not allowed to eat...ha ha. Our friend had the Breakfast Burrito which was also perfect. I had the Classic Benedict and it was phenomenal. The hollandaise in particular was well prepared, and I like the fact that they serve ham instead of Canadian Bacon for their Benedict. Now we definitely have a restaurant to return to for breakfast on our next trip to Bend.

Yelp
Fantastic food, happy and attentive staff, all in an old (clean) Craftsman style home. Lots of overflow seating outside w/ heaters.
google avatar

Lauren S.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious. Busy Friday morning crowd. Sat outside with a fire pit and blankets on a cool morning. Everything was fresh, oversized (LOL) and delicious.

Toby B.

Yelp
Possibly the best breakfast I've ever had. Amazing service, food and ambience. 5/5 completely
google avatar

Steven E.

Yelp
Most important in a breakfast place in my eyes is the coffee. Theirs was good and they were not stingy. The other bellwether for a breakfast spot is their corned beef hash. I have to say this is in my top ten. Plenty of corned beef, light on the shaved (!) potatoes, sweet red pepper. I didn't even have to ask for poached eggs as that was built in. A fabulous dish. Perhaps building the Lilly: a fabulous huckleberry scone. This is a winner!
google avatar

Christina Z.

Yelp
Solid breakfast spot with a delicious pastry selection! The lines are long because it's popular so be prepared to wait, but the staff is lovely. The menu is extensive with sweet and savory breakfast options (think: pancakes, crepes, sandwiches, toasts, benedicts). We opted for savory for our sit down meal and got pastries to satisfy our sweet tooth to go. I had the breakfast burrito which is big and filling - the ratio of potatoes was a bit more than I expected as I was hoping for a bit more egg but it was tasty overall. The marionberry lemonade was refreshing and a nice mix of tart and sweet. My husband had the guac n' roll which he thought was a light and delicious breakfast. We got a marionberry scone and a cinnamon roll to go - I scarfed down the cinnamon roll as soon as I started eating it because it was amazing! Great ratio of dough, cinnamon, and frosting.
google avatar

Colleen K.

Yelp
Amazing! Service was spot-on, food was next-level (all homemade) -- our group of 5 ordered different dishes and somehow loved every single bite. Portions were so generous we couldn't finish, so we boxed up the deliciousness for later. Pro tip: save room for the bakery afterward... unless you enjoy making impossible dessert decisions in public.
google avatar

Gregory B.

Yelp
Holy Moly ... the Queen of dog friendly spots. It was a bit chilly in Bend this morning (42), but no problem, they had a heated tent on their patio. Wow, that's taking care of us dog teams!!! Water and a treat right away for my partner, and a menu and water for me. Menu has a ton of breakfast options making choices difficult. Everything was incredibly delish, and service very attentive from the dog friendly staff. This is literally best pup and me breakfast west of Rockies. Would stop in Bend even if we weren't working around here, just to visit.
google avatar

Nigel A.

Yelp
Loved the service. Great vibes... Our server was attentive to our needs. It's a must every time I come to Bend.
google avatar

Yelp
Does anyone in Bend have jobs? Just asking because this place was already hot at 9am on a Tuesday!? Crazy. When we got there there was only outdoor seating available and a wait for indoor. We sat outside under their wonderful and spacious tent and were served right away. I got the hot chai latte, my husband got the cappuccino and we both thought the drinks were fantastic. My chai had whipped cream and cinnamon which is to die for. My husband got the lemon pancakes and I got the spicy benny. I love an eggs benedict and this was no exception. We didn't have to wait for the food and the waitress was nice, no complaints about the food, service, or atmosphere. We were very glad we got to try Bend's best breakfast restaurant on our way out of town. I think this place is fantastic and would love to come again some time!
google avatar

Tara B.

Yelp
Love this place! We sat outside on a summer morning and it was perfect. Everything on the menu looks amazing but I selected the house made granola and yogurt. It tasted amazing and was very filling. They have a nice cocktail selection is you want more than just coffee. The service was very cheerful and happy to help and be at work.

Charity H.

Yelp
The experience we had for our birthday breakfast was outstanding the server Rachel went above and beyond best service I've had in a long time. Rachel deserves a raise. She definitely made the experience the greatest her knowledge of the menu and the area made our stay even more enjoyable. Thanks again Rachel for the recommendations. We definitely will be back a place. I will be recommending to all my friends and family. It is the breakfast spot of Bend hands-down Best part while you're waiting for your table, you have complementary water and coffee available everyone is extremely friendly and kind
google avatar

Lyka Mae R.

Yelp
I love everything about this place! Food are amazing, service was amazing and perfect ambiance!!! We ordered BBQ Pulled Pork, Chicken salad sandwich and biscuit and gravy and all are excellent. Place was relaxing, servers are excellent too. They checked on you but sensitive to give us our space also.
google avatar

Shawn A.

Yelp
Fantastic all around. Food taste and quality , service, amenities and the overall friendly atmosphere and reception. It was impressive. Of course prices have risen way up these days as they have across the board everywhere. But at least we felt good afterwards with no complaints. Well done again everyone at McKay's.
google avatar

Destiney L.

Yelp
Such a cute restaurant!!! They provide bonfires to keep yourself warm while you're waiting to be seated, which is extremely nice during these winter months. The food is made with love!!!! The coffee is also amazing!! I went today, on my birthday and the waitress gave me a really tasty cinnamon roll for free. I had an iced vanilla dirty chai which was made perfectly. For my breakfast meal, I had French toast topped with extremely fresh strawberries, a side of country potatoes that were perfectly seasoned and crunchy. I also had a side of fluffy scrambled eggs, and tasty sausage (I did not finish everything lol) my boyfriend had a crepe, biscuits and gravy, bacon, eggs, and potatoes. HE LOVED IT ALL!!! 10/10!!!!
google avatar

Jason W.

Yelp
This is a great spot for breakfast with really good food! Just a heads up--it gets super busy on the weekends, so be prepared for at least a 30-minute wait. The good news is they serve cocktails while you wait outside in the parking lot, which makes the wait a lot more enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood for a tasty breakfast!
google avatar

Alexis A.

Yelp
The food here was so fresh, flavorful, and so yummy! Our server Megan was so sweet and recommended great food & drinks. I'm definitely coming back here! Such a great experience at McKay Cottage Restaurant

S H.

Yelp
So, so GOOD!! We were in town (we're here every couple of years) and wanted a good brunch spot. This one did not disappoint! From the beverages, to the ambiance, to the food - all stellar! Please don't be deterred by the limited parking, and long wait because it was all worth it!
google avatar

Jeremiah J.

Yelp
A delightful dining experience! Great food, service and ambiance all the way around. Our server Megan was friendly and timely, cappuccinos were on point and the days special Benedict was a work of art. Feels like dining at someone's home.
google avatar

Chanel T.

Yelp
Our server was delightful. Loved that they offered a fruit cup, crackers and toys for our son to play with. Nice little surprise. The bread pudding was amazing!!! Omg I wish I could eat that bread every morning. Black butte Benny was good too. The bread pudding was the show stopper! We will back to try other delicious items on their menu. Adorable little cabin and the river is across the street. Nice little walk after a tasty brunch.
google avatar

Matt R.

Yelp
Another great experience at McKay Cottage. Today we sat outside around one of the fire pits. Great day to sit outside. Wonderful service. Wonderful food. My wife appreciates the gluten free options up and down the menu. We will continue to make this a regular stop.

Kate H.

Yelp
Delicious!! Our family stopped to have breakfast as a family and the food was wonderful. Our server was very helpful and quick. Loved the building and quaint rooms.
google avatar

Matt V.

Yelp
Im always skeptical when a business bills itself as winning awards...but this place is only flaunting their fabulousness. The food, the service and every thing they do are superb!!! They literally don't need to advertise how great it is...but they do. I had the Carnitas Torta today, and it was amazing. The fries. Amazing. Our server, amazing. the wait, amazing (the only negative thing). We waited about 35 minutes for 3 people, which honestly is good for this place. I expected longer! Harvest Hash is also great! But seriously...everything here is amazing.
google avatar

Amanda N.

Yelp
This place is so cute and has lots of seating! We arrived around 11 on a Saturday and waited about 30-40 minutes. I love how they offer you coffee or you can order drinks at their register. They will bring out your drinks and just add to your tab. Drinks: hot apple pie (4/5) perfect for cold weather. I only drink tequila, but this wasn't bad. Food: Harvest hash: loved the variety of ingredients. The scone was delicious, so I recommend upgrading (5/5) Guac n Roll: loved this "avocado toast" recipe esp with the chili - lime salt. (5/5) Guys... the ketchup is so fire. I bought one to bring home and almost finished more than half the bottle in 5 days.

Sharon I.

Yelp
What a terrific weekend brunch idea! We were visiting from out of town and picked this restaurant off of yelp and was pleasantly surprised. We sat outside on a brisk Saturday morning to be met with blankets and a fire pit in the middle of our table. Our fur-baby was treated with a fresh bowl of water and a biscuit that was huge! There was a wait for the food but they bring out your pastries early while they are processing all the orders. They have gluten free homemade pastries, amazing specialty coffees and all the food was tasty. Would go back in a heartbeat!
google avatar

Kia T.

Yelp
Visited this breakfast spot this morning. Food and drinks were delicious! Large outdoor patio that allows dogs as well. They even brought my dog a huge milk bone. Staff was friendly. Good was delicious and would definitely go back. I highly recommend going early if you don't want to wait 30+ minutes for a table.

Mike S.

Yelp
Amazing breakfast, I ordered the breakfast special which came with chorizo and over easy eggs and hash brown potatoes. I also ordered one of their famous sticky buns and everything tasted delicious. This is a must stop for breakfast if you're ever in Bend, Oregon.
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
So I'll start with the bummer and get that out of the way. Parking sucks. Add to that the clientele were idiots parkers. Now that's off my chest, phew! We arrived at 11 on a Wednesday and I was surprised at the crowd. It's clear the reviews preceded us. We were offered outside, tent or inside easing within 15 minutes and it took just about that to get a table inside. Service was not fast, it was about 25 minutes from order to receiving our meal but our server was kind and attentive and we never felt neglected. It's so cute inide with the old craftsman style. The food was delicious. My kids were in picky pants mode so it was 50-50 if they'd want what they ordered when they got it but success! My husband loved their home style potatoes and the eggs Benedict I had was great.
google avatar

Katie M.

Yelp
We were traveling through Bend early in the morning and looking for breakfast. We made our way to McaKay Cottage Restaurant based off Yelp reviews. If we find ourselves back in Bend, we will be back! This place was amazing. Adorable restuarant with amazing food and coffee. Everyone was pleseant and service was quick!
google avatar

Jeremy G.

Yelp
FANTASTIC! My wife and I stopped in here for breakfast while in town recently and were blown away by the service and quality of food. Our server was really friendly and helpful by making great suggestions. The atmosphere of the house made it feel quaint and comfortable. The menu had so many good options, it was difficult to decide but we both loved our meals. The portions were very generous, and we probably could have split one of the bigger options. I can't wait to go back.
google avatar

Lindsay M.

Yelp
Great breakfast experience! The food was delicious but we really loved how accommodating they were for kids. We will definitely be back!
google avatar

Joseph D.

Yelp
Food was amazing. The lemon pancakes were fluffy, and rich tasting. Lemon " curd" was a smooth finish. The McKay cottage potatoes were also good! The potatoes had a nice smoky taste to them as well as the ham . The perfect condiment was their homemade ketchup, which was a nice Rich sweet tomato taste. Total was about $58 whenever you had in the lemonade and the orange juice . I would definitely come back based off. The taste in the service was great as well. The cottage style restaurant is a favorite now..

Matthew W.

Yelp
Great food but be ready for a long wait if you come at a popular time. Cute place. Great for brunch with your sweetie.
google avatar

Lizzy P.

Yelp
Traveling up north and we need a place to have breakfast at... soooo happy we found this place. Food was delicious and many, if not all, of the items are made from scratch and have a homemade taste to it. The pancakes were soft, moist and had flavor. The chicken sausage seemed freshly cooked and not in a microwave. They really must use fresh ingredients because my intestines were not giving me hell as they usually do when I eat greasy, processed heavily sweet items. The food was so good, my son wants to move to Bend OR for it. Great service and the vibe was pleasant. It is a popular spot so be aware there may be a good wait, but well worth it.
google avatar

Kevin G.

Yelp
Great service and food ... but be warned the portions are HUGE so come with a big appetite or split your order with a friend.

Yelp
What a great place. Had Biscuits & Gravy; that is sausage and white pepper gravy over some jalapeño cheddar biscuits. Extra crispy potatoes and two poached eggs. Washed down with fresh apple juice and a hot chai latte. Service was quick as well. Justin did a great job with the service. For sure a go back kind of thing for this joint. So many things to choose.
