McKinney Falls State Park is known for its nice biking and walking trails. The park features both the Upper and Lower Falls, which offer scenic views. The Lower Falls is particularly popular because it provides easy access to the water, making it a great spot for wading. The park too awesome!! Great for beginners who would like to enjoy a nice sight see and easy trails to follow. They have waterfalls, camping grounds, playgrounds and also good amount of parking. My family and I came here for mother's day and it was a great idea. We had a blast walking around, taking pics and having a picnic as well.

This is a fabulous State Park. It has 2 sets of waterfalls and a nice rock ledge/overhang. There are also great rock formations and very walkable trails. We saw lots of wildflowers too. There is a nice visitor center. We spent about 2 hours walking around there and we are very glad we visited.

Surprisingly nice park and river area! Well-maintained trails, signage, and walk-up waterfalls. Areas to swim in and sunbathe. Plenty of wildflowers in early April. Bring some good sandals and sunscreen. $6/person for entry.

Omg! Huge place! We are visiting from Cali. We went to check it out. There's an area on section 3 that you can get in the water & jump off rocks. Has a cute small cave. You can walk on the rocks where there's not much shade or You can walk to the other side where there's shade. We also walked in that trail to the right of the building there to see Old Baldy. Nice walk thru the woods. You can't feel the heat in there.

A short hike with water views was fun but stay away from the 3 mile loop of boring with janky blacktop. If you just want to walk and stretch your legs this will do, but we felt it was a waste of our time. All the good photos came from the short hike by the visitor center that was closed when we were there.

It was a great place to take a breather. Taking a hike around while seeing the water, wild flowers and the critters of the place were awesome! Highly recommend having a reservation, but its not necessary. We went there around 11:00 and there were still places to park. You can swim in some parts of the water but if you hiked down the Lower Falls, there’s some trash on the river and the staff are being great at cleaning it up. So, pack your trash and leave with it until you see a proper trash can please. Thank you.

This park is awesome! We've gone to many state parks and this one is one of the few my kids truly loved! Easy walks to the waterfalls...I'm talking like 2 minutes to upper falls and maybe 5 to lower falls. Easy peasy access!
