"A second restaurant near the U.S. Bank Stadium has closed. McKinney Roe has closed after three years in the fast-developing East Town neighborhood. The massive space was sister restaurant to Jake O’Connors, Lola by the Lake, and O’Donovan’s. The restaurant struggled with the public’s perception of it being “too fancy” and “too expensive,” while ownership aimed for a friendly Irish pub." - Joy Summers

"A bit upscale, but not so fancy that jeans aren’t welcome. Grab some low-country mussels and clams or an order of the East Town wings." - Joy Summers

Drinks were great and the happy hour fair was delicious. We got the bread and Brie which wer fluffy and delicious, the shrimp which were large and succulent, the “pork wings” which were tasty and finally a cheeseburger with thin cut fries. The establishment is well decorated and the music was comprised of Celtic fair mixed with some newer rock/punk (?) all in all a decent after work happy hour location.

First time for my husband and I at this pub. Awesome place! I had the potato soup and the cocktail shrimp, my husband had the big stag burger (without the caramelized onions), and we both loved our meals!! The shrimp are huge, and delicious!! We also had the apple dessert and that was fantastic as well. Very nice staff too 😊

Being out of town I am glad that we chose this place to eat. The food was delicious. We had a very pleasant experience. If I were to add a little critique I would say for them to add the childrens food onto the menu.

Very nice, pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff the food was hot and delicious. We had the Big Stag burger, the Sara turkey and the Shepard’s Shank, don’t forget dessert, the chocolate cake and apple tart were a perfect ending.

I came here with my mom and we had a great time! The waitress provided an excellent service. We both ordered the Thursday special pot roast and, for a rainy night, it was the best call. Very tasty! The dessert we ordered, the Monkey Bread, was delicious!

2nd time here within 2wks. The food & drinks definitely make you want to keep coming back. The atmosphere is nice and chilled. However, it can easily get amped up on game days. (GO VIKES)! Oh yeah the food.. you know what they say about a picture, right?

This place is beautiful. The bar area is amazing with the views of the second floor wine racks. The decor is impressive, one of the nicest bathrooms I've been in! The food was good... the ahi tuna appetizer was delicious. The pistachio pesto salmon was good, not amazing, but well cooked and good flavors. The portabella mushroom and gruyere sandwich was excellent. The caramel cheesecake was good, just not as impressive of a dessert as I would expect from a place like this. The staff was very friendly and the views of US Bank Stadium were incredible. We plan to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the outside seating.

Beautiful space, extensive wine list, custom drinks, good variety on the menu. We just had drinks and appetizers, whipped salmon and cocktail shrimp; perfect portions and delicious. Eager to go back.
