Allison was an amazing bartender! The wings were very large and the beer is cold. I highly recommend McWethy's sports bar! Oh yeah, you can golf too...

First time here and will not be the last if I’m in the area again. Great environment, wasn’t too loud but I visited on a Tuesday night. Friendly staff and fast service. Stopped in because reviews gave the wings mad props! I will agree with the reviews! The wings are really good size. I ordered 12 an barely finished them. If you’re a pickle fan def recommend the Hot Pickle

Grilled wings! Large and in charge! Perfectly meaty and done right. I was thrilled to see that there were a number of dry rubs available as well Try the fried pickles too as they are soooo dang good!

Sweet Chilli Sriracha grilled wings were 🔥🔥 Parmesan Garlic breaded wings were 💯💯 Endzone Cocktail and Blueberry mule were great! Chef Bobby is great and takes pride in his work! Such a friendly and great guy! Our server was amazing and friendly!

The patio is amazing I went to my best friends baby shower 👶 and it was catered food and it was soo good! The little tortilla chicken empanadas were good and the tortilla chips and sauce were amazing. It was so cute and big enough for a small to medium baby shower with lots of space and lots of parking cause of the dome. And the bathrooms are also 🧼 clean 🚽. It was very well done and the staff was so nice we could order from the outside and they bring u food and alcohol which is so great 🍺 🍷 and they have like 3 tv’s out there and lighting. And a big sliding door and a normal door 🚪 and 2 outside entries to the patio.

Hour and a half wait for these burnt wings... Manager took them off check (without my asking), but having managed in hospitality... I would not have even put this in front of a customer... needless to say, not my best dining experience. Likely will not be back.

McWethy's is a good local sports bar that has strong versions of many favorites-the wings are large, cooked just right and they have a lot of different rubs, sauces. Sandwiches are imaginative, with the Texas Cheesesteak a favorite-blackened chicken. I recently had the pick two, which is a cup of soup (their chili is tasty), salad (homemade dressings-their bleu cheese as great!) and their homemade bbq kettle chips. Drink specials and a wide selection of most anything you'd like from cocktails through craft drafts and bottles, and service has always been right on.

Great place to grab a meal before or after hitting some golf balls in the dome. The food is solid and reliable. The bar is well stocked. always some sports on TV.

Typical sports bar. If you've never been there, the entrance of the place is facing north. We got the pigs skins which are pretty good. Had good amount of pulled pork and wasn't overwhelmed by the bbq sauce. Just didn't expect to only have 3 pieces. The mac & cheese has that thick cheese sauce and cavatappi pasta was the perfect type of noodles for this dish. Definitely was no leftovers. The wings are double the size of BWW, so I guess you can say they are jumbo size. But i was expecting bigger. They seem to grill with the sauce on, so it wasn't very saucy. But the flavors were there and was good. I got the buffalo sauce and it was more mild and not spicy.

After a fun time at mistwood indoor golf go to the sports bar Great foodand friendly m Service . Great place to relax and have lunch The salads are plentiful and my buddy who had tacos said they were very good Can watch all the games as many screens abound

I gave this place 2 chances. First, my husband and I wanted to host our rehearsal dinner here since we were getting married at Mistwood Golf Club and absolutely love McWethy's Tavern. We could not reach anyone to discuss this! Manager never responded back to us. We called, emailed, etc. Came in to the restaurant too and the server told us he wasn't there. But of course I got added to the email list. Flash forward a year. Now I'm on their email list and I see an email about a Taylor Swift trivia that is reservation only. I immediately call to make the reservation. Well the person I spoke to never actually wrote down my reservation so we were turned away when we came. They tried to play it off like I mixed something up or called the wrong number. It was so sad. They've burned me twice now so I've got no interest in ever returning.

Unexpected find. Tasty grilled wings. The Mac n cheese was a family favorite. Cheese curds were in line with our high expectations. Burger was solid, fries stood out. Southwest chicken salad was great. The TV's. Tons of them. That was what brought us in. The food will bring us back. Check it out.

I came here with friends for trivia! I must say, for bar food, the food is amazing. They had a great eclectic beer menu that will suite every beer drinkers need. Service was fast And friendly! They have a really nice outside patio as well for those still concerned with social distancing. Even though it's Summer they do have heat lamps out there to warm should it get cold Over all, great food, great beers, great vibe, what more can you ask for!

I stumbled on this place a couple years ago when working in Chicago. They had some of the most amazing wings that are unique as they smoke them before they bread them. I forgot the name of the place. Well tonight I was craving wings and picked a place on Yelp and low and behold here we are! Nikki the manager is super nice and recommended this Elote Cheese sauce wings which are unbelievable! Super creative and delicious! We started with the Ellsworth Cheese Curds which are seriously as good as anything I have had out of Wisconsin! Love it! If you want some amazing wings and a great staff who cares and is knowledgeable, this is YOUR place!

One of my favorite places to do trivia. On trivia nights, they have beer specials. Their draft selection is always changing. They have typical bar selection of appetizers. I highly recommend the pretzel bites. Wings and burgers are also delicious. Service is consistent and friendly.

Decent ambience, but stay away from the food. Worst pizza I've ever tasted.

What a hidden gem of a restaurant. If you are ever on the area I highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat. All the food is good so, it's to hard to recommend any one dish. If I had to, I would suggest the the Chicago Style Shrimp and Grits. This offers the best of the North and the South. I'm from Texas and always look forward to this one during my travels. I have to thank my Aunt for pointing me in your direction. The entire staff will make you feel right at home.

I enjoyed my food here. My wife however felt super sick after words. Not sure if it was the food or what but she said she personally that she wont come back.

Love this place! My absolute go to for wings, their sauces are a mile above anywhere else. Staff is super friendly and accomodating, and the beers are always cold.

I didn't have time to take a picture because it looked so good but the Butcher Steak sandwich was. I'm not a fan of a strip steak but it was so good that I even ate the fat!

What an awesome team they have here! Nikki and Andre went over and beyond to help our family celebrate my dad's 70th birthday party! They were very accommodating and treated us like family. The side rooms were nicely decorated and remodeled just in time for the Super Bowl and the food was great. We were able to have our guests have access to the golfing range too. The kids enjoyed their time here as well. Wall to Wall TVs made it easy for everyone to watch the game and the sound system helped us hear the game. Thank you and job well done! I have been sharing my experience with other people planning future parties. We will be back!

I went with the community vote and tried them out as they just opened up during this Pandemic!! I got the Pork Quesadilla, Crispy Pickles & the Elotes Wings.... The Community did not LIE they were alllll Amazing.. Let's start Wings - Smokey Grilled wings with the elote mayo, chile mix, and the cojita cheese over top. I was worried but curious at 1st but the juiciness on these Wings !! Will make you slap yo Mama!! OMG! I had juices squirting in my mouth Amazing! Fried Pickles were HUGE and the batter wasn't thick or overpowering the dipping sauce was a nice smokey touch to them as well. The pickle choice wasn't too dilly or sour, perfect blend, Would be even more amazing with some HOT Pickles too... Let talk about these Quesadillas, melty creamy cheesy and the pork was so flavorful;.. I just wished it was pulled pork and not cubed with a lil kick to it.. I will be returning soon especially for some of those WINGS !!

Went here to meet some friends. Ive only been here once . Years ago when it was Ditka sports dome. We went in. Fairly brightly lit. Sort of pubbish looking. Lots of tables and some booths. Plenty of tvs with the ability to pull in any event. Lucky for us, not much was going on ,and it wasn't busy. The Blackhawks game would be on later and it filled up a bit, but never seemed crowded. Ordered some appetizers, the pigskins (potato) which had a little brisket along with green onion, jalopeno, some cheese and a few other little fixings. It was pretty tasty! Followed up by a few tap beers. They do have a 1/2 way decent selection of craft beers. What I dont like is , that all tap pints are like $7-8. Which is like 1-3 dollars high. But I think its cause thats the McWethys -Mistwood thing. But we had Modelos ,and they were the special for that day.. price was better. After that we had some wings. Excellent wings, lightly breaded. Not overly heavy. The wife and I split a dozen. Sweet chili sriracha. Tasty! I liked the Nashville hot butter wings. Awesome! Dry rubbed with some spice , I really enjoyed them. Service was decent, not too pushy , yet not abandoning. About right. They also had this music bingo thing. Separate company comes in and hands you these bingo cards with song names. They play a song over speaker and you mark it off on your card, if you have that song listed. Middle square is free. If you get 5 in a row then its bingo. The prize is $20 gift card good for future visit at McWethys. Kinda interesting. As I alluded to, the place doesn't look upscale but their prices are. Im sure thats in line with the other facility at the golf course in Romeoville, so be aware of inflated prices. Its still the golf dome, so I thought things should be moderated a bit. Food, drink and service were good. Parkings a little tight, and I dont know anything about the golf dome conditions or amenities. Still, a decent stop , worth trying out.

First time here. The food was great. The wings were excellent perfect amount of heat on the classic Buffalo. Loved the onion strings and fries. Pretzel nuggets were fantastic. The service was excellent and the food was ready as promised on the time I was told. Will definitely be back

Just to save anyone else from out of town the Lyft expense going here. Sports bar with annoying hip hop and a boring menu. NCAA basketball championship and their are 2 ppl that were looking for Bob Evan's.

The McQ's staff are awesome! I held a small gathering here for my husband's 40th birthday. Little did I know it would be during the Final Four game when Loyola was playing! Stephanie, Mike and Anthony were totally accommodating and attentive to my every need! The food came out fresh - thanks Chef Alton - and the drinks were spot on! I would say that McQ's is a little known secret for hosting a party. I will DEFINITELY be coming back!!! We ordered the lemon pepper wings, bbq wings and buffalo wings. All excellent, but I think the lemon pepper went the fastest! The French fries and chips were great. The McQ platters provided a nice variety of appetizers. Chef Alton even came out to greet us. He's doing great things with the menu! And if you ask ahead, he can provide some special menu options. Even with my party of about 20pp, Stephanie rocked the floor with her sidekick Mike!!! Even when making my reservation, Anthony and Christina were super attentive and accommodating to making my gathering a success. I plan to definitely come back to hang out and even to have another party!!!

Pleasantly surprising experience! For a bar attached to an OTB and golfing dome, I wasn't sure what to expect food-wise. I think my mind was thinking back to the batting cages I used to go to where the food was at about carnival status (chips and nacho cheese, etc), but this food was really good! This would be a great place to catch a game- tons of tvs and good drink specials. Service was super friendly. They have a lot of nice people there who seem to enjoy their job. I ended up ordering their Tipsy Stout burger- a stout-glazed (I think?) beef patty with brown sugar bacon, crispy onions, merkts cheese and on a pretzel bun. This was a perfect combination! I hadn't had a burger in a while and this one was worth the splurge! The flavors of salty and sweet meshed so well. That was one for the books! The fries that came with it were also good, and there is the option to upgrade to tots for 50 cents more or sweet potato fries for $1 more. Everyone else enjoyed their food too. One thing I noticed in particular was my friend's buffalo chicken wrap. Not only was it loaded with chicken, the lettuce in it looked dark and healthy! I'm a lettuce elitist and the less ice berg I see, the better! We had a few issues with prices on drinks when our bill came out, but they were apologetic in trying to fix them. I wouldn't hesitate to return here!

We checked this spot for dinner and honestly its not good at all for food. By the way the bbq ribs come with a bbq sauce that's way to strong in whatever type of alcohol their using, so that was a turnoff and then the meat had a unpleasant flavor. It was everything you didn't wish for in your bbq ribs.

This review is for the bar/restaurant area only. There is an OTB area ~ not expecting that. The bar area has plenty of TVs and stools at the bar and high top tables. To me, that is restrictive for some people. We chose to sit outside on the patio area. Wow, this is the area that REALLY needs work. Food was good and they offer a burger of the month ~ nice. However, the patio could be a BIG draw because in the summer months it is covered and located on the east side. We were told the floor has radiant heat and there are side panels that can be lowered to keep out cold/rain. BUT, it is very poorly planned. Tables need some sort of covering, even a plastic tablecloth would help. Maybe some plants? What about some fans to circulate the air? The plain cement walls are just not welcoming. And smoking should not be allowed. Yes, it is outdoors, but still . . . There are 2 TVs, neither was turned on. I am sure they are on when there is a bigger crowd. So, for me, I can only go when I can sit outside because I am not able to sit at a high top. Welcome me to sit and relax. As is, the patio felt rather prison like ( not that I've ever been in prison).

Had a great experience here tonight. Attentive friendly service and awesome food. A little hesitant but noticed bad reviews were from 2018 and current reviews were 5 star. One of my favorite beers was $4 for 16 oz. had the Piggie small sandwich and it was delicious . Chips are too good. Will definitely be back often.

We had our moms 70th birthday here on Saturday Oct 19th. It went perfectly. I can't rave enough about how awesome Nikki was! We had a rough estimate of 30 people and about 45 came. And they didn't care how off I was on the estimate. They were well prepared. The food was amazing. Drinks were awesome. Katrina and Brianna were such good servers. They knew all of our guests names and remembered all their drinks. We had 10 high top tables and the whole patio to ourselves and were very happy with the space! Thank you McWethy's!

Had a great time at McQ's today. Enjoyed watching NCAA basketball with my son. The food was excellent as always and the beer was even better. Top notch friendly service makes for a comfortable environment. Great atmosphere, menu and drink selection. Our server Denny was the best and provided excellent service. My favorite place!

I had such high hopes for this place. Such a let down. (Review is only for the dining area, not the golf dome or OTB). Went on a Friday night, 9ish. I couldn't believe how dead the place was. We sat outside on the patio which was nice. Took a little while b4 a server came by. We were informed that their fryer wasn't working. I really kinda wanted the sweet potato fries, but settled for a side salad with my pulled pork sandwich. When the bill came I was charged the extra fee for the salad. Didn't think that was fair since their fryer was broke, so really had no other choice. My drink was fairly weak. Pulled pork was okay. They were stacking up the chairs in the dining area at 10:30. Says they're open till 1am. It's really a nice space. Wish it had a more lively crowd for a Friday night. So much potential to make it a fun place.

This was horrible!! I love wings but these were the most disgusting wings I've ever tasted! The flavors sounded awesome... like sweet and sour bacon sauce.... But I was tremendously let down we could have saved our $40 as went elsewhere....this was disgusting!!!

I can't comment on the food because I couldn't get service. It was very slow, less than ten folks in the whole bar yet I sat and sat the more than 15 mins with no service so I walked out.

Came to this place after just moving into the area. Was pleasantly surprised. Cool, laid back atmosphere - my fiancé & I ordered a couple burgers and tried a few beers. Burgers were fantastic & service was great as well... Bartender was cool & friendly -no complaints for the first time being there- DEF Recommend!

All sports bar; no casual dining; very similar to Fox & Hound. Go there if (1) you want to watch the game, drink and nibble on some bar food, or (2) want a quick bite for lunch. Do not go there if you want a sit-down casual dinner. All the tables are bar-height / counter-height (not dining table height). Lots and lots of TVs to watch all the games. Leave the kids at home (see "Ambiance" below). Food is average. I ordered the BBQ Brisket Sandwich. BBQ sauce is good, but they hardly put any on the sandwich, so the sandwich was dry and bland. My husband order the Half-Slab of Ribs. He enjoyed them and said they tasted very fresh. Both meals came with coleslaw and fries. The coleslaw had an off-taste, very bland. I think they put a bit of mayo on it and forgot the salt, sugar, and vinegar. Fries were cooked thoroughly and crispy. His meal came with a cornbread muffin--standard box mix, very dry. Waitress and service was fine and timely. Ambiance: Noise level was fine. But we had the misfortune of sitting next to a table of 4 men, 2 of which had the nastiest, most foul language. Each sentence out of their mouths contained at least three words of profanity. So this is NOT a family-friendly environment. In 45 minutes time, we heard about 100 curse-words. Food was okay, but I would not go back there solely because I do not enjoy being surrounded by ignorant, immature, angry, 40-something-year-old men constantly spewing curse words because they hate their jobs, hate their lives, can't get a date, blah, blah, blah.

I'm retracting my 5 star rating. They must have gotten new management in the past year because you can really tell. My husband and I live so close and this was going to be our neighborhood hang out. Tonight and also a month ago we sat down in the restaurant with servers walking by and not even looking at us. As if we were invisible. Sat there for 15 minutes each time. Last time you could see the servers trying to visibly discuss who had to take us, a good tipping couple. Anyway I was heading there tonight to meet my husband. He got there before me and sat there again for 15 minutes. We left because he had to go. So we went towards 75th and got dinner at Mariano's. I'm done with this place. Bye.

Food is very good. The only worse service I would imagine is on the Hindenburg... After the crash and the ambulances left.

This place is awesome. Great for sports. Good Blackhakws bar. I will return on a NBA night, so I. An enjoy some good beer n eats while watching my favorite sport. I think the BBQ was just ok today. The meat wasnt too tender or falling off bone. The flavors were good. The wings were good but the skin was real stretchy n tough.. Id rather have smoky, melt in your mouth BBQ. Great service. I will definitely return.

Discovered this place a few weeks back. On my third visit today I was thrilled once again. This place has a great atmosphere and service. My server, Kati wa absolutely fantastic in every way. Great menu selection and perfectly prepared food. Totally happy I found this place.

Been here many times and just went back after being away for a while. Honestly, I cannot understand why I don't come here all the time! Good food, great Blackhawks sports bar, fun crowd....very affordable prices. You will love it if you want to drink and have a good time with friends. Just leave the kids at home. You deserve a night out and relax.

McQ's was the last stop on our girls day rendezvous in the burbs. I'm not big into OTB places, but McQ's has some great wings, so that's why we came here. They have some TVs scattered about, playing sports games, and obviously OTB races. They have a cute outdoor patio area that has a few games, like connect four, to play. We all ordered the wings, ranging from classic buffalo to BBQ, a dry rub, and garlic parmesan. They weren't very saucy, but they were good. And decently priced. They have some local craft beers on draft, as well as a full bar. Our server was ok, not very friendly at all, and not very attentive towards the end. She didn't have a problem splitting our bill. But overall I wasn't overly impressed with the service. I would probably come back for the wings, but it wouldn't be my regular go-to place.

Alex (bartender) is excellent at what he does. The wings and chicken tenders are the best in Bolingbrook and I would put money on it.

This place is one of my go to's when I am in Bolingbrook! The food is amazing. Always great conversations with the staff. I finally met Chef Alton, really nice guy. I recommend the wings or the burgers...can not go wrong! Also, the beer selection is pretty decent. After a few drinks, you can hit up the golf dome that is connected! :)

It's easy to drive past this place since the speed limit is 50 and it at first glance looks like an industrial building. Definitely make the turn in! The entrance is very nicely done. The interior is fresh and clean. Sports bar with great food. Our server was so proud of the new menu items. She was so friendly! 30? Tv's Try the fresh breaded chicken tenders- You must try them! A pound of juicy chicken. Yum.

My husband and I get McQ's frequently. Their BBQ meatloaf is the best we have ever had. My favorite is the Piggy Smalls with coleslaw. We also like the potato skins with bbq. Its always fast, delicious, and although it can be a little pricey, we always get 2 meals out of each order.

Had wings and chicken wild rice soup today. Both very good. Soup was top notch and very flavorful and filling. The wings were good size and offered several good choices for flavors. Will return next time in area.

This was not my first chose of place to be, but I think my bar closed down! I am new to town and looking for a home town bar. Stop In here a few times and I can not say that I'm really impressed. Bartenders are friendly, but not very talkative to new people. Only really came around to ask if I was ok. Tried to talk to them, but they were more interested in talking to the regulars. I understand that I'm an outsider, but they did not need to make me feel that way!!! They could not make green beer on St. Patrick's Day!!! What, it was the major reason that I was out!!! Food is good!

I will not return to this place. I think the manager with the glasses needs to be reminded that without customers, he would not have a job. He was rude and unwilling to honor a simple request to put the Cubs game on a certain tv during the World Series. He apparently is not smart enough, or observant enough, to realize that 99% of the customers in the bar were wearing Cubs gear and that was the primary reason anyone was there. It's the World Series buddy, get real. He said No when asked to change the tv closest to us to the Cubs and when we asked "really?" he sarcastically replied "really" and walked away. After telling the bar tender we will close out and we're leaving to go somewhere else, the tv magically got changed to the Cubs game. The only reason I will give it two stars is because the bar tender was great and apologetic. She had the customer service skills and common sense that the manager lacked.

I really like it. I went to hit balls, but ended up sticking around for a beer and bet a couple ponies. I was very comfortable there. The owner is putting a ton of money into improvements/expansion. I'll be back

Decent beer, and the food is usually good, but I had the fried pickles today and they tasted like the breading was made of flour and salt. Mostly salt. The breading was falling off and the pickle slices were totally uneven. One was a half inch think and the next would be nearly 1/16 inch. I generally like the place but, but I probably won't get the fried pickles again.

Denny is the best bartender ! Awesome specials for food and drinks throughout the week! Great place to check out!

We go every year at this time to hit golf balls and eat BBQ. A ways had a very good meal. This year was a bit disapointing Service was good in the bar but not in the dome. We had wings and pulled pork. It was just ok. Big wings but a bit tough and not as good a previous vusits
