The food is delicious. Bread had great flavor and was fresh. Meat was great. Love Zapp's chips, always the best when you see them offered. The Detroit pop elections were made with cane sugar and a nice touch to stay local. Pickles are home made too and perfectly sour without going overboard. Pricier than Jimmy John's or Subway but the food is a lot better. If say a good value for the price ($24 for 2 7" Wichs, 2 bags of chips and 2 pops). There are some games in back to play and the bathroom signs very much fit the Ferndale community.

I went there late last year and had one of the best sandwiches I'd ever eaten. I told everyone about it, and was excited to try several of the menu items. It was a little pricey, but you by far got your money's worth. Then the last time I was there, they'd reduced their menu to 1/10 of what was on it or less, and the sandwich was ok. Nothing I'd tell others about and it felt expensive for what I got. Additionally, the first visit, the maker walked me through the process to make sure I got the sandwich I wanted, this time the sandwich just flew through the process and I hoped I liked it. It's a fine place, and I'm sure a first visit wouldn't notice anything amiss, but I don't seem myself returning, which is a great shame. They were the best sandwiches in the state.

I just went in on a whim and got a Cuban sandwich and I'm so glad I did. It was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. The jajapeno cheddar bread was fresh, had a ton of cheddar cheese on it, and was baked to perfection. The meat was tasted fresh and of a very high quality, none of that subway lunch meat nonsense. The mustard they put on the sandwich had an amazing flavor to it. Best of all, the had homemade hot sauce available for take out and it was absolutely delicious, it really went well with the sandwich. I will go out of my way to come back here again.

Similar to another reviewer - I need to update my review. From 5 stars to 3 stars. The price increase for a sandwich is outrageous. I won’t be back because the price for a sandwich alone is way over my lunch budget. I wonder why they thick $11 is reasonable for a sandwich? 🙁 Original post: Wow! Very good!! Wish it were closer. Please open a location in Detroit.

Handcrafted everything. Vegan options as well as gluten free. Great selection of delicious local sodas on tap. The sandwiches are creative and the ingredients are scrumptious! Do yourself a favor and try it if you haven't already. Plenty of seating and parking.

On their TVs they were promoting their happy hour, which is from 4:20-5:20. I ordered at 5:15 and paid full price. I asked the cashier why and he said the policy is “the customer has to ask for the happy hour price.” What a ridiculous policy...especially considering their prices are already pretty high for a sandwich. I’d rather spend my money at an establishment that looks out for its patrons, not one that nickels and dimes paying customers like this. 2 stars instead of 1 because the food was tasty and the place has a nice ambiance.

Very long wait with only 1 sandwich order ahead of us. Kinda pricey for what it is too. The guy behind the counter was eating while making our food which is not okay. He also touched his hair, hat and face but did not change gloves. My sandwich was floppy and there was more avocado on the wrapper than the sandwich. The flavor was pretty good but would not recommend
