ME Dubai

ME Dubai is located in one of the most interesting (aesthetically) buildings in Dubai by ‘starchitect’ consultancy Zaha Hadid (artwork by Marcos Marin of the namesake in the lobby of the hotel).|As this was my first visit to Dubai I needed a hotel close to the Metro system (which I found to be extremely efficient and a hot 15min walk from the hotel) and having enjoyed staying at Melia properties previously, decided on this hotel.|The hotel has an impressive lobby which can become busy with individual business meetings. There are restaurants that are situated and open adjacent to this expansive space and whilst they are individually decorated still feels somewhat like you are sitting in a shopping centre as the sounds bleeds form the lobby. |I enjoyed the hotel but this was one area that I felt was lacking; there were no quiet individual spaces to escape to - except the pool area, any other spaces for hotel residents were based around the lobby as if the architects were expecting you to revel in their ‘creation’. Other Melia hotels I have stayed in have inviting, comfortable spaces to go to but this isn’t apparent here.|However, reception and housekeeping staff and are extremely amiable and helpful with special mention to Hannah - who always remembered which coffee I liked at breakfast and is a credit to the company. It is this personal touch that is appreciated when travelling.|The room was also extremely comfortable and spacious. The shower head was the largest bespoke sanitaryware that I’ve ever experienced but felt that the bespoke hand held shower fitting was over-designed and unnecessary. I loved the simplicity of the room lighting and blind controls particularly the master switch by the bed. I also loved the bespoke nature of the bed frame and the extended section at the base to sit on. The organic light fitting panel behind the bed did emit a low humming sound though. Also, the high gloss black panelling to the wardrobes and desk area did show fingerprints easily.|The full length mirror was also inconveniently placed to the inside of one of the doors adjacent to the safe.|I also appreciate that all the pay-for items are hidden within the minibar/coffee machine cupboard out of sight. I don’t like staying in a shop.|The room was also very quiet and soundproofed from the adjacent building site (they started work pretty early).|The pool area was very pleasant and never got really busy. Unfortunately the oasis of calm that Melia were hoping to achieve with the planting and piped chill-out tunes is somewhat depreciated by the continuous Jack hammer sounds from the adjacent building site. However, there’s nothing that can be done about that currently. Dubai has a lot of building work ongoing.|There’s not an awful lot to do around the hotel at night aside from the hotel restaurants - not really the area for an evening stroll. The only option is to get a taxi and venture elsewhere however the traffic can get heavy around the hotel in the evening (situated with two dual lane roads each side). A 15min taxi journey during the day took about an hour in the evening.|Overall, I highly rate the staff, the room, the breakfasts were amazing and the general aesthetic of the hotel whilst the location is good for accessibility to public transport for the tourist sights.

had a wonderful stay at this hotel — everything was great! The overall experience was fantastic, especially thanks to the reception staff who were extremely professional, welcoming, and polite. Their high level of service truly stood out and made me feel at home and especially Mr.Moustafa Raslan The hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained. I can confidently say it will be my go-to hotel whenever I visit Dubai. That said, I do have one small note: the gym could use better equipment. While the design is stylish, the machines are not very functional for a full workout. I’d recommend adding more versatile and practical fitness equipment. Also, while the towels were clean, some of them felt a bit old and could use replacement to match the rest of the high-quality experience. Other than that, everything was perfect, and I will definitely be coming back again soon!

From the moment we arrived at ME Dubai, we felt truly welcomed. The hotel is stunning, spotlessly clean, and the team made our stay incredibly special. A heartfelt thank you to Claudia from GEX, who warmly welcomed us and personally showed us to our room. She was always kind and attentive, making us feel truly cared for. At breakfast, we were greeted daily by the lovely Seill, Abdul, Kevin, and Joanne. Always smiling and helpful, they made each morning a pleasure. The breakfast was fresh, varied, and delicious. We also had the chance to meet Jose and Elsa, the hotel directors, who were approachable and genuinely kind. It’s clear that they lead with heart, and it shows in the whole team. At reception, Alexey, Ismail, Fatma, and Sofian were always professional and friendly. Every interaction was smooth and pleasant, which we really appreciated. The hotel was spotless throughout – from the rooms to the common areas, everything was pristine and well-kept. Thank you to the whole ME Dubai team for making our stay so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

The guy called Amine Yacine did a great service. From check in and everything is nice. When we arrived, provided water and asked us we need more things or no. After long time flight. This is very important. This is my third time here, super enjoyable. This will be another home for me in Dubai. Thanks the whole team.

I stayed at the hotel for 15 nights, and everything was phenomenal. All the staff were kind and respectful. In particular, the Eastern European receptionist with the buzz cut-(not sure on his name) and the luggage porter named Christ were especially helpful and always approachable.

Stayed at ME Dubai and had an amazing experience. The hotel is in a great location with stunning views, and the design is absolutely unique and beautiful. What impressed me most was the exceptional service—special thanks to Joanne, Amin, and Claudia for their warm hospitality. The Front Office and Centrale teams were professional and welcoming throughout. Highly recommend ME Dubai for anyone looking for a stylish stay with top-notch service!
