Meat on Ocean is an absolute gem nestled right across from the picturesque ocean in Santa Monica. From the moment we stepped in, we were enchanted by the beautiful and cozy ambiance. Our experience was elevated by the exceptional service, particularly from the charismatic manager, Brian, whose vibrant personality and spot-on recommendations made our visit truly memorable.
Every dish we tried was a culinary masterpiece:
- The bone marrow was bursting with incredible flavor, leaving us savoring every last bite.
- The crab cake, cooked to perfection in butter, boasted a delightful crunch on the outside and a melt-in-your-mouth softness inside, easily ranking among the best we've ever had.
- The charcuterie platter was a work of art, featuring a delectable assortment of meats and cheeses, accompanied by a side of honeycomb and various sauces that added depth to every bite.
- The filet mignon was a prime cut of meat, perfectly complemented by a luscious béarnaise sauce.
- The sautéed spinach, infused with garlic, was a simple yet divine accompaniment that tantalized our taste buds.
- And let's not forget the Pistachio Crème Brûlée with melted dark chocolate--each spoonful was a heavenly indulgence, offering a unique twist on a classic dessert that we couldn't get enough of.
Our lunch experience was so exceptional that we couldn't resist returning for dinner, where we indulged in even more delectable treats, including the sausage, shrimp tempura, and of course, more of that irresistible charcuterie.
Needless to say, Meat on Ocean has secured a special place in our hearts and on our list of favorite dining spots. We can't wait to return and continue our culinary adventure at this outstanding establishment.
