I've been here a few times over the years though I just haven't taken the time to review it but this gorgeous restaurant is still one of the best steakhouses not just in Taichung but arguably in Taiwan. Their meats are absolutely scrumptious and cooked to delightful perfection, served by an amazingly professional yet friendly staff, and the side dishes are done lovingly and with lots of flavors.
After eating bread so good it reminded me of my hometown's 400-year-old bakery - I could have eaten two loaves myself, but I didn't - I then
chose the kale, brussel sprouts, red endive, and quinoa salad and it was one of the most artistic and yummy salads I've had in a long time, then a lobster bisque which was an absolute pleasure to eat, followed by my favorite cut of meat, the ribeye cap, again cooked perfectly and served with garlic and a side of sautéed mushrooms.
All in all it's a royal and truly superb experience that brings many of us back to this fine establishment hopefully for years to come.
