"The former Kangnam Barbeque has turned into a dark space filled with neon lights and a late-night aesthetic, by Lawrence Chen, owner of Momo’s Cafe in Palisades. The menu still includes traditional Korean barbecue, like pork cheek, beef tongue, galbi, and Angus steak. There are also fun drinks on the menu, including a soju cocktail served in a carved out half of a watermelon. It also features an affordable all-you-can-eat option that’s $21.99 for weekday lunch and $33.99 for dinner and the weekends." - Tierney Plumb, Emily Venezky

Me and a friend had the all you can eat option. We had ramen for a small up charge. We selected spicy pork belly, shrimp, squid, pineapple steak, cinnamon sugar pineapples and other items from grill buffet.

It was a cool new place to try out. Very welcoming staff, cool ambiance, & had a nice kick to it overall in comparison to other Korean BBQs out there. Food is fine but drinks are better. Overall, don’t knock it till you try it.

Saw this place being advertised on Instagram. It looked very nice. My daughter LOVES Korean bbq so that’s where she decided to have her birthday dinner. We arrived got seated quickly we brought a cake with us and they placed it in their refrigerator. We were so confused who our waiter was and kept having to get up to ask for new tongs and scissors due to allergies of some of our guest.. After a couple trips to the buffet area we see a HUGE RAT!!!! We couldn’t eat after that. We complained and the manager told us he’s been in touch with pest control and they’re trying to get that taken care of. He told us he’d give us a discount and apologized. We asked for our cake to be brought out so we can sing to my 9 year old daughter. They didn’t even care to clean off our table. They brought us out the cake not even having room in where to place it. WORSE KOREAN BBQ RESTAURANT. 3 people from our party woke up sick to our stomachs. So regret going there for my daughter’s dinner.

Amazing food. The atmosphere is pretty cool and it's a very fun place to go with friends. They are very strict with reservations, and will threaten canceling it if all the people aren't there at the reserved time, even if only one person is running late. The pineapple steak is the best thing I've ever had at a kbbq.

For $30 AYCE KBBQ, it’s easily the best bang for your buck. The cyberpunk, neon-lit ambiance adds to the experience, with a bright spectacle of a helix tower displaying the cuts of meat on your table. The quality of meat is solid, though we've had better elsewhere. For example, their beef bulgogi was too subtle for my tastes. What it lacks in standout cuts or flavors, it makes up for with a DIY sauce bar that lets you drench each bite in dozens of different combos. Plus, the bar spread includes seafood, sides, and dessert, so there’s plenty to mix and match. 𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡 🥩 Pineapple steak 👅 Beef tongue 🐄 Beef brisket 🥓 Pork cheek 🍍 Cinnamon pineapple 𝗧𝗥𝗬 𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗧 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘 🌽 More veggie sides 🥓 Hawaiian bulgogi 🐙 Baby octopus 🥩 Galbi short rib Note: this is in College Park (University of Maryland HQ), so best visited when school is not in session. It gets busy and parking is limited.

Fantastic dining experience! The freshness and quality of the meat were outstanding, definitely not your average cheap cuts. The flavor was superb, enhanced by their unique sauces and seasonings. The pineapple steak is my favorite. The attention to detail was evident as they even took Polaroid photos for us to cherish the moment. Can’t believe they have a full bar here! Because most of Korea BBQ place only have half bar. Definitely a good place to hangout with friends or family.

All you can eat brunch with a variety of chicken, beef, pork and seafood. Food was great, the pineapple bulgogi and short rib was fantastic! School is out so this might be the best time to go. Great service.

We had a great time dining at meatup. The service was wonderful, our waiter, Catherine, was very prompt and the food was very good. The kpop playing on the tvs also gave the restaurant a cool atmosphere.
