Here, on a work trip from Michigan, as usual, decided that I wanted ramen found this place in Google and was not disappointed. This was absolutely the most phenomenal bowl of ramen I have ever had! I got the beef added mushrooms. Also, the edamame is absolutely spectacular. My waiter was Jason. He was phenomenal. Great food great atmosphere amazing service!!

Amazing experience. Super friendly staff who asked about allergies before we ordered and anime playing on TV while serving the best ramen I've had in a long time. The spicy broth paired perfectly with melt in your mouth tendon and tripe. Great restaurant, great food

My son loves ramen, so we decided to try a new spot and ended up here. I must say, I really liked the atmosphere, and the staff was very nice. There’s plenty of parking in the back, though it’s a busy area. Giancarlos took care of us, and my son was so impressed with his kindness that he wanted to use his own money to tip him. As for the food, it was amazing—great ramen and pho! It was so good that we forgot to take a photo before we started eating. They were packed tonight and a line out the door for takeout but somehow got seated immediately. The parking situation here was much better than I expected. We had the sweet and sour spare ribs, crab hand roll and ground pork egg rolls as appetizers. Simply delicious. Then for cocktails we had the Japanese Gin and lemon with lavender bitters and a Sifu Lee (best cocktail on the menu). And for the main course we had the classic 24-hour ramen bowl which is amazing as-is but with an little Sriracha sauce it really comes to life. Would absolutely come to this part of Connecticut again for a great date night!!

This place seems more for the younger crowd. Arrived on a Monday around 2pm...6-8ppl(adults) total inside. Cannot hear our convo due to internal music to LOUD. Had few drinks which was tasty, but size of drink is deceiving due to the 4"sq ice cube. Had the general tso shrimp was slightly over cooked on top of sticky rice. The dish wasnt plentiful. And...The customer service was amazing.

Since my college days, Mecha has been one of my all-time favorite spots in CT. You really can’t go wrong with any of their menu items. I recently stopped in to try some of their new dishes which I was very impressed by! Creative choices like the Japanese curry poutine and curry latksa were great, and I liked the new super pho sizzle with the beef on the side more than their typical phos. Without getting cooked more in the broth, the beef stayed rare and was flavorful with the chimichurri on top. Their spicy tan tan seasonal special is always a must for me - I don’t usually like spicy food but I’m always addicted to this one! Food always arrives to the table in a timely manner. They have a good system here! In my opinion, Fairfield is the best of the Mecha locations.

The noodles are always great, the space is a little tight but it doesn’t take away from the heat service you get. I got the spicy beef ramen which always tastes great!

After my last bad experience in this restaurant , I hastened to come back . But I have to admit everything was perfect like a few years ago! Thank you for the amazing dinner !

I love this cute little place. It's so cozy and the staff are sweet. It's a little bit of a drive for me but always worth it for their ramen and bao buns.

Great experience, excellent food and hip atmosphere. Rock and roll meets C-Pop! It's a true fusion of styles here. It may be loud for your grandma ma, but is you're game, check it out.

We LOVED Mecha for years, but are so sad about recent menu changes. The Tonkotsu was our go-to ramen and we're so sad that it has changed!! We love the wings, KFC baos, and I love the pho tai (not on the menu but still available). We always have the most amazing service and love the ambiance. Please please please bring back the tonkotsu!!!

Super cute noodle bar. Fast paced environment with fun music and anime cartoons on the television. The menu includes 4-5 different types of phone and 4-5 types of ramen along with add ins for your soup, amazing bar list menu and hot and appetizers or other menu items should you decide soup isn't in the cards for you. My son had the classic beef pho and loved it. The broth was super flavorful and the noodles gave it a nice taste. The portion was huge for him. I had the flank steak pho with extra greens which was amazing. I added hot sauce and all the bean sprouts and herbs that come along with it and it topped it off wonderfully. Service was super attentive and the food came out super quick. It does get crowded and the environment is pretty loud. There is plenty of parking as are located in a shopping center plaza. Credit card is accepted

We love Mecha. This was the first time we've stopped at the Fairfield location and we were impressed. Pushed back off the road in a plaza allowed us to sit outside peacefully. They have a great amount of space for outdoor eating and a good sized indoors. The staff was so quick and helpful. We never wanted for long. The food was solid as always. The real star in my book would be the red oil dumplings. I love a good dumpling and this one is consistently great. The ramen was well balance and perfect for my husband and I to split for a light lunch. We plan to return many times!

The pho is amazing!!! The restaurant is very cute and if you order the pork bao buns extra crispy, they might be the best in CT!!

Came here for dinner w/ my family. Waitress was really sweet! She gave us superb service as well. I ordered a joto graffiti sake cup for starters for myself. My dinner was the general Tso shrimp.It came w/ sticky white rice,green scallions,& micro greens.The portion was rather small but the waitress warned us. That is why in the menu it's under munchies. I wasn't too hungry so it was ok for me. Food was delicious.Inside it has cool decor. It's all wooden tables,floors. & chairs/benches. The ceiling has wooden chimes hanging down. I would def hit this spot up again. I already been here numerous times. Last time I had pho & it was super delish.

We have loved Mecha Noodle Bar for years. It's a great franchise and I've been to several locations in CT and MA and have always had great service and delicious food. I am leaving this one-star review out of disappointement at the recent menu change. Our favorite menu item as a family has always been the pho sizzle and now it has been replaced. We are BEGGING Mecha to consider bringing it back as it is what all of us ordered every time we went. We likely will no longer eat at Mecha now and are all extremely sad about this turn of events.

Wow, this is seriously delicious ramen and Asian food. We stopped in on a week night in time for their happy hour and ordered too many bao buns, ramen and dumplings. First the bao buns. The Korean fried chicken buns were juicy and flavorful, and the pork belly buns were just as tasty. The mushroom dumplings were earthy and creamy, just a perfect compliment to the meal. And finally the spicy beef ramen, wow. I added corn to mine and it was very tasty. The interior is trendy -- the music is a little loud for my liking but not too bad overall. The service was great too - very friendly and willing to talk you through the menu. I can't recommend trying Mecha enough. We'll definitely be back!

Food here is reasonably good and the service is fairly efficient and friendly, although a bit contrived. My issue here is the ambiance. To some people, it is great, but to me it was horrible. Decibel volumes more than I can handle, crowded tables (with the guy next to me coughing and the child crying, etc) making me feel claustrophobic in a human Petri dish. And that blasting Rap Music made it hard to hear, although I could make out the lyrics...every other word of this so-called music was f*cking this and N-word that. So offensive and irresponsible especially with all those children present in the restaurant. I couldn't wait to finish my soup and get out of there! A word to management: some people find your choices offensive - reconsider your choice of music, and shame on you. Lastly, this is supposed to be a Japanese / Asian restaurant. But I didn't see one Asian person there; not in the kitchen, not serving, not waiting tables...nor any patrons...what's with that?

My man bought me here for the first time (while I'm visiting CT) cause I couldn't stop talking about ramen. Upon entrance I was definitely feeling the aesthetic of the restaurant. Me & bae ordered Thai tea with boba, the 5 palm beat thingy drink, the smoke show cocktail, general tso shrimp, chicken ramen, beef ramen, and the firecracker wings. The food in totality was a 7/10. The wings & general tso shrimp was bomb I'd come back specifically for the shrimp. The ramen was a little bland (even with adding siracha & hoisin in to it) The drinks were a 8/10. The 5 palm beat whatchamacallit was refreshing & light and my drink was refreshing with a nice sweet balance. I'd come back here again but get pho instead of ramen next time & 2 orders of general tso shrimp! Also, the manager (I forgot his name) was really awesome & helpfull. My partner & I didn't know he was a manager (we sat at the bar table) and we were talking about all our food & drinks before we realized we were sitting next to a manager. Also, thanks for keeping my purse & passport safe when I accidentally left it at the establishment!

LOVE COMING HERE WHEN IM IN TOWN!!!! A table opened up just as we arrived, love when that happens. The place was packed but the service and speed were great. I had dinner plans in a few hours so I wanted to be a bad girl and have a bite here first heehee! I tried the chili oil dumplings, short rib bokkeum special, and Korean fried chicken bao buns. No complaints! BUT The bokkeum didn't need the pickled ginger, it had plenty of flavors going on. I also wanted to try a house soda--lemon-hibiscus, WOW new fav. It is a bit loud and busy but overall good to eat in, get full, and run out.

Cute place with polite staff and good food. You never have to wait long time for the food to arrive. I love their beef noodle! So tasty and the beef is tender. It's a large portion as well. Yum!!

First let me say the staff are wonderful. They are always pleasant and helpful. Kind and generous. However every single time we start choosing takeout my son says Mecha and i cringe. There is always a problem trying to order online and the owner refuses to allow phone in orders. I spend 10 minutes with them on the phone trying to troubleshoot the issue. I appreciate that but i work with computers, my car was already charged the $1 test and yet its a billing issue. So i try to go elsewhere when ever possible but i also don't want to let my son down. But really not allowing a phone order is one of the top reasons I don't order out from here.

Finally got to this noodle bar.. we had two types Of ramen: SHOYU PAITAN - chicken ramen - my wife loved it! SPICY BEEF RAMEN- I loved it .. great flavor, great and many noodles and lean brisket.. yum .. we also started with CRISPY COCONUT SHRIMP BAO- we loved it and it was served on a nice dish, great presentation.. also had a starter of SWEET & SOUR SPARERIBS- you will love these. A meal in themselves. We ate outside which was nice ambiance. We also had great service from everyone (they work as a team and these servers are great!) We'll be eating there or taking home once a week for sure !

Great experience BESIDES the blasting music in your ears oh my goshhh my party and I felt like we were at a nightclub and left with headaches; there is absolutely no reason why we should be yelling across the two foot wide table in order to hear each other! I have been to mecha many times before and honestly I'm not sure if we just caught a bad night but the music is just unbearable honestly, if I didn't love the Tonkotsu Ramen, Pho King and Kfc Bao so much then i'd probably just walk out, KARA YOU ARE AMAZING! Our server really saved out night Kara just fully embodies the saying of kindness goes a long way; because of her (and the fact that we had already placed the order) we decided not to leave lol

I love the noodles and broth here . Once you finish your noodles and you have soup left the staff will gladly give you more noodles if you like . I normally get seconds so that's how I know . Soups so comforting when it's cold outside . My favorite soup is the spicy miso soup I add the pork to it . Also the red oil dumplings are to die for . Grew up eating ramen and I was so happy that this place is now here for us all to go and enjoy ramen . Normally it's always a crowd and lots of times it's family's choice to eat! Please share this wonderful business thread with your friends and family! Oh lastly I get the spiked bubble Thai iced tea. My absolute favorite. It's been a pleasure eating here as always.

Ah so when I finally got COVID after avoiding it for 2.5 years the first thing I thought of getting was some good ole pho from Mecha. I've been to this location many times over the years but have never gotten take out pho. I placed an order through Ubereats and the pho came out so warm that I didn't need to reheat the broth. Everything came packaged great and nothing spilled. The noodles were fresh and plenty of sprouts and garnishes were included. The instructions on the side of the bowl were so helpful and way to follow. The pho was delicious and hit the spot. So thankful I haven't lost my sense of taste or smell because the pho was amazing and you could smell everything that went into the broth - so much ginger, star anise, and cinnamon. Just perfect. Will definitely order again from here and can't wait to go back once I'm out of quarantine! Some of my favorites here are the mushroom dumplings, kfc baos, and wings! Definitely get the boba tea too!

busy as usual , i always go stamford one but this is my first time at fairfield one but i think i like stamford one much buteee, service are friendly . bao buns are great, busy ambience.

Waited over a half hour while we saw 10 people arrive after us and get seated. Then the host tells us to go sit at a high top just to have another worker come accuse us of just sitting on our own and ask us to leave. Poor service and they don't seem to know what they're doing. I'd stay far away and I'll tell everyone else I know the same

This has been on my list for a while. Decided to go on a Saturday afternoon. It was pretty busy. I had stood there for a while before someone acknowledged me and even more people came in after me, and the host addressed them first even though I was standing right there. That was my first disappointment. But I'll blame it on confusion due to busyness. The second disappointment was the wait for server to come to the table. Once she did get to me, she was fine and service was fine. I ordered the herbed edamame which was insanely good, must try. Spicy miso ramen I'd give it 7/10, something was missing in the broth - or maybe it was just too thick. Oh and it didn't come with egg, nori, and corn already in the bowl like most other places, at Mecha you have to order it as add-ons (I'd consider this my third disappointment). I ordered some snacks to go which were all delicious (KFC bao, ribs, and red oil dumplings). The real winner for me was the delicious cocktail called "one way ticket." It was so yummy with the nice touch of lavender. As far as ambiance it's like a lunch room communal table vibe. Music was loud but that's part of the vibe here and it works. Overall, not the best first experience but good enough that I'd give it another try and recommend.

I didn't like the take out, never eaten in the restaurant. Prefer other ramen places and the kimchi fried rice wasn't my favorite.

Has the best, most flavorful veg/Chay ramen I've ever had. Not bland at all. The mushroom dumplings are also really tasty. Mushroom bao is good, my son likes their KFC bao.

Nice ambience and service!! Food was great! I wish they had more variety of Vietnamese food such as pork chop over rice with egg.

Their ramen bowls are out of this world. Their food is always fresh and I enjoy getting my food here every single time.

We had an awesome time dining here. It was highly recommended by a co-worker and I'm glad we ate here. We had the Tonkotsu ramen & spicy chicken tan tan-men with the KFC chicken bun. The tan tan-men was so delicious! And the drinks were really good - I especially liked the smoked show. Also our waiter, Siri, was very personable and recommended a lot of places for us to visit since we were new in the area. Great service, great food - I'd definitely dine here again!

Mecha has really gone down in quality since it's inception. I just went here 2/17/2024 and was disappointed. I got the spicy miso ramen and some appetizers. The chashu pork in the ramen did not seem marinated and was flavorless. Not to mention the slices were almost paper thin. They no longer include an egg in the ramen and the rest of the toppings were skimped out on from what I'm used to at other ramen places. Broth, noodles, and dumpling appetizers were good.

No sea pho anymore. Slow and slightly aggressive service. And not perfectly clean. It used to be a really good place.

Really good ramen. The atmosphere can be a little loud and the restaurant is always busy when I go, but if you just want to eat good food, this is the place.

The food is AMAZING! It always hits the spot. It's very friendly and the food comes on to your plate pretty quickly. And it's a very lively ambience. I would recommend.

The best restaurant I have ever bin to. The Beef Ramen Noodles are really yummy, the soup in it is amazing and the egg and noodles are amazing, too. The lemonade is also really tasty, too . Very fresh and sweet. The service is good too. The food comes out fast The vibe is very dim and aesthetic. Recommended highly

The server was very friendly and made sure that we were pleased with our meals. The only downside is that people love this place and it can get crowded. Great for a casual bite.

Some of the best Ramen I have had outside of Japan. Service was fast, the place was noisy and packed to full capacity on a Friday at dinner time.

The restaurant's atmosphere is nice and has a chill vibe inside, and the service was also good. The food was only okay unfortunately. The ramen was very mediocre and was too salty while also lacking deeper flavors. The black pepper beef and broccoli noodle dish had more flavor, so that was good. We also tried the shrimp cake bao and I wouldn't recommend this since the flavors didn't go well with each other.

I really enjoy the food every time I go. The Raman is great and the apps are amazing. Mushroom dumplings and the edamame are my favorites.

Seriously delicious! I've been meaning to come for years and wish I would have sooner. The restaurant is small and kinda crowded but worth going! We got a few things to try since we've never been. Mango bubble tea: 9/10 delicious and not too sweet. KFC bao: 9/10, chicken was crispy and delicious, only thing is I wish it had a bit more sauce. Crab korokke: 10/10 SO GOOD, deliciously crispy and soft on the inside covered with a delicious sauce. Kimchi fried rice: 10/10, the best kimchi fried rice I've ever had, I could eat pounds of this stuff. Beef pho sizzle: 9/10, broth was rich and yummy, wish it had a few more pieces of beef but overall very good. Can't wait to go back and try more!

Have been here multiple times. Was my go to for casual Pho and Ramen fix. Last time I went - we were seated quickly but waited for long time for our sever to come. The Pho was bland. They seem to have cut down on the fresh vegetable add-ins that make the Pho what it is. I asked for spicy peppers and it never came. The ramen was also bland. No reason to have Asian food that isn't really Asian or good.

We have been going to Mecha for the last 5yrs. Excellent service, young energetic and friendly staff and the food is consistently amazing every single time. Music is a little loud and seats are not comfortable so it is hard to take my in-laws there, only complaints.

The ramen here is so good!! We had the spicy miso ramen and the tonkatsu ramen, the pho tai, and the Saigon spring rolls...all were delicious! We sat outside on their patio and were able to see our meal under the umbrella lights. A big thank you to Trevor who provided OUTSTANDING service along with all of the other servers! I would definitely eat here again!

I've been here about 4 times and can vouch for the top quality of this restaurant. Cool new fresh place with delicious Asian-fusion cuisine. The food is healthy and plentiful (enormous portions) all for a reasonable price, which is hard to find in downtown Stamford Bedford St. The food tastes as beautiful as it looks. The seating is spacious and decor is fun. I like the sake drinks menu. This place stands out for its high quality -- from a creative and unique menu, to quality food, and stellar decor and design. I always love relaxing here and feel at home.

Something for everyone. Delicious Ramen, lots of options, really good pho, and the kids soup is a pretty great idea, broth and noddles. We always do takeout but it's great even for elderly, get the not spicy options, and the broth is so healing, so rich and there's bone marrow oil you can add and other really nutrient rich ingredients that can help your loved ones heal and support their immune system. Amazingly nourishing in cold weather and rain. Food that warms up the soul.

I had heard from a colleague that Mecha has good ramen and I was really craving some slurpy yummy chewy noodles. I called in the order of spicy miso ramen $12.50 but didn't want to pick it up until 30 min later. It turned out that it literally takes minutes to freshly prepare my noodle! When I got there and asked for my order, the lady turned to the kitchen folks (open kitchen) and they put the raw noodle into boiling water and ladled out a scoop of spicy miso and broth into a container. By the time I finished paying, my ramen was almost ready. The noodle and soup was packed separately and they placed the soup in a plastic bag so no spill accidents can take place in the car or during transport. The soup was still warm so didn't need to reheat. The slices of meat was fatty and meaty in just the right way. Two slices out of three were slightly thicker than I preferred but still very yummy. The toppings also included wood ear fungus which I love and green scallions. I had green bean sprouts at home so added some to the noodle. It gave it the yummy crunch I adore. A soy sauce hard boiled egg would have been even better, but didn't have the patience to wait. The spicy miso is not that spicy but it had great flavor and the noodle texture was bouncy and chewy. It was definitely good enough to satisfy my ramen craving.
