First time trying Mecha and I was pleasantly surprised as to how yummy the food is! We started with the bao buns the KFC & the Smash burger both were delicious but the stand out one was definitely the KFC! We then tried the firecracker wings personally they were too salty for my liking if they tone it down on the salt they would be delicious. And lastly my husband tried the Pho King he enjoyed it but the brisket was cut into cubes which he didn’t enjoy it thin strip brisket for pho is a better option in his opinion! And I tried the SUPER PHO SIZZLE and that was delicious the steak was tender and had great flavor and my pho was perfect! We will definitely be back!

There are good food and just-okay foods. My friends who visit here frequently recommend Tonkotsu ramen. But I would highly recommend Curry Laksa! Not only Laksa is hard to find in other restaurants, but the flavor is sooo good. Each menu can have different style of noodles. One of my friend mentioned that it would be better for Tonkotsu ramen has the same type of noodles as Curry Laksa. Spicy beef ramen is just okay. Appetizer shrimp is just okay (it is cold menu FYI). Cocktails are pretty good! You need to pay for parking. There is a huge public parking area behind the building. I wish their chairs have a back support.. this is really uncomfortable.

We had a great time here. The staff are young and friendly, the food is affordable and amazingly seasoned. And the atmosphere is very culturally modern to suit the food. I would highly reccomend to get the Yuzu Bombs, it is a slightly sweet sake dropped into beer. Only $5, you better get it!! Our server was Kyle. He was very nice and great at his job!! Bosses; please give him some credit!

Food was amazing. Atmosphere was great. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive. I’m not a Pho person but I would definitely come here again just for the spare ribs. My wife and daughter loved it.

Can't believe I live nearby and hadn't been here yet. Great menu (not just noodles/soup) and excellent cocktails, too...bonus! Love that the Confession cocktail came with a little journal to add my own confession to...nice touch! Will have to be back soon.

Came here for lunch on a weekday. There were only a couple of tables occupied. They have a good selection of Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese inspired dishes. We had the Sweet and Sour Spareribs, Spicy Miso Ramen, Unagi Handrolls and a Miso Caesar Salad. The salad surprisingly delicious with the crispy anchovies, giving you a very dynamic flavor. The ribs were tender and the meat fell off the bones. The seasoning on the ribs could be too aggressive for some. The ramen has the right balance or umami and sweetness. Just wish they have given me a half boiled egg. Overall, it was a good meal.

Ordered through Uber eats, they sent me raw beef. Not rare, just straight up raw. And of course Uber eats won't let me submit an actual complaint and only comped me the price of the beef add-on ($3.70). Also my brother got the chicken sandwich baos and said they were dry, and we also received someone else's soup I believe.

Excellent Asian spot. Must try the Ramen, Pho and Asian fusion appetizer options. Service was quick. This place can get packed so plan ahead.

Great food, great vibe and experience!! Kids always love it. Service is always prompt and courteous. Spicy miso and shoyu paitan our favs. The spicy wings and dumplings too....will continue coming here for ramen forever!

Great experience with customer service, we constantly had staff check in on us and made great recommendations. It's very cute inside with very nice decor and cute anime features. As far as the ramen, the flavor was there but the base unfortunately super super salty. This is my second time there and the first time I had the same issue --although I will say the flavor has improved by a lot and the noodles were 10/10! I hope they take it back with the salt and improve cause I really like the vibe here!

Completely Unacceptable Experience I had one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had at this restaurant. When I was ordering, the waiter actually paused and asked if I "needed to make sure the price was in my range." When I asked to add a steak onto my meal. I was shocked and honestly embarrassed. There was absolutely no reason for that comment except for the fact that I'm Black, and it felt blatantly discriminatory. I came in expecting to enjoy a meal. Not to be judged, talked down to, or stereotyped. Instead of being treated like any other customer, I was made to feel like I didn't belong there. Food was good, wish the service was better!

Highlights are the herbed edamame so good very addicting. Pork Belly Bao definitely should order more than one. And the Red Oil Dumplings. They have some really good appetizers. We tried the Shoyou Paitan (Chicken Ramen) with the suggested add-ins of chili oil and corn. It was good the noodles had great texture but it wasn't a Ramen I would tell my friends to rush and try. They do have a kids menu which is great. A lot of places with these types of dishes usually don't have a kids menu. I think I would definitely come back for happy hour and small bites because those really hit the spot.

Food is excellent! The kale salad was unexpectedly good and healthy at the same time. Pork belly bun is insanely good. Pho vein with greens is a large portion, and tasted very good. Also tried ramen, it is saltier and very different style from pho, both are delicious in their own ways. Thai milk tea looked very good but later didn't order. Service is very good, and the waiter comes up quickly with water and nicely recommended us many options. Good environment and music. Definitely recommend and will return if have a chance.

We ordered food from here and it was well packaged, so no spills or anything. The broth was medium warm not really hot but still good. We ordered the spicy kfc bao sliders, spicy beef ramen and chicken ramen. The bai sliders were very tasty it had a sweet and sour taste to it. The beef, veg and noodles were packaged separately from the broth since I ordered the food. The beef was cold and everything was placed in the bucket so I was a bit skeptical about the taste but once I poured the broth in, it all came together. The ramen is top notch and very good. The broth was also well balanced with flavors and not too spicy but spicy enough. I give this place a 5 out of 5 for the taste. The food felt comforting as well as yummy at the same time. This was perfect for a cold snowy day.

This place is a vibe ! Ambiance was awesome , music was all 90's hiphop/ r&b ! Food was stellar and drinks WELL poured ! Staff were very friendly. Great date night or get together place .

This place is soo amazing! As soon as you walk in you realize just how cool this place is. It's super vibrant and lively and makes you want to try everything! I started with the shrimp and chicken bun and ended with the red oil dumplings. I came in for pho but there was just so much that looked so good. I also grabbed the lotus flower bomb drink which I'm told is alike to a sangria. Will definitely have to come back and try the other yummy stuff in the menu while I'm in town!

My husband and I are frequent diners here. The food and service is always top quality. Plus they play great music, have friendly staff, and quick service. We absolutely love coming here and would recommend anyone to come check it out!! 10/10 would recommend

Mecha was mega! Pretty delicious but more importantly, James, our server was a delight and a top-notch professional. Our interaction with him was warm, friendly, and welcoming! We are coming back just for the amazing service...not to mention...the ribs, the softshell bao buns, and hand rolls. Perfection!!!

Heard a lot of great things and finally got to try Mecha! Was not disappointed THE FOOD -shared two apps for the table, they came out pretty quickly. -edamame: was most unique edamame I've ever had! It was charred and had more seasoning than just sea salt. It was very tasty, I would order again. It was a nice portion too. There were 3 of us and each had plenty. -mushroom dumplings : nice crispy outside , big dumplings too. Tasty sauce, good filling! The filling was interesting and reminded me of ground meat texture. -entrees: we each got a different ramen. I was a little disappointed how quickly the ramen came out as we didn't have much time to eat our apps so everything was in front of us at once. -Ramen: I got the spicy miso with some exclusions and substitutions. They got everything correct! It had a little kick but wasn't overly spicy THE DRINKS -everything sounded really unique and tasty so it was hard to pick -I got the Iron Fist which was a really neutral cocktail in terms of sweet / savory. I was afraid I wouldn't like it because I can't remember if I like vermouth (and I know it's either love or hate for most folks!) but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Only thing I can say is I feel it needed a garnish of some sort. It looked a little bare just served in the glass. -my friend got the bonfire cocktail and really liked it! THE SERVICE -our server was very kind , polite, and attentive. She answered all of my questions and made recommendations on drinks -the other employees were very nice and checked in on if we were finished / wanted to keep plates, etc. during our visit too THE ATMOSPHERE -cool vibes! Wood based decor -many different seating options with a double sided bar in the middle -they had it decorated for the holidays with little touches here and there which was really nice too Overall, I can't believe I've waited so long to try Mecha. I will definitely be back!

Food was great and our server was very nice and patient. We had a lot of questions regarding some of the meals on the menu and he was very helpful. Ambiance was really nice and the music was good too. I ordered the Spicy Miso ramen with shrimps. For starters we had the KFC and coconut shrimp Baos. Everything was flavorful and I would definitely recommend.

Went for a quick bite at happy hour with the girls. The ambiance is so pretty and service was fast. We got quite a spread and tried a little of everything off the munchies list and omg the egg rolls were definitely my favorite. They recommend eating them the traditionally way, where you wrapped the egg roll in the lettuce with a sprig of mint and game changer. Definitely recommend stopping by there ramen and pho is definitely one of my favorite spots to go to.

They have vegan broth! It's great for my vegetarian wife. Food overall is super tasty. I've only had the ramen so I can't speak to the rest of the menu but the ramen is delish.

I am a local, work right across the street, and have been a loyal customer for a long time. Today's experience at Mẹcha was absolutely unacceptable. I arrived at my scheduled pickup time, yet after waiting 10 minutes my food was still not handed to me -- at 5 PM, which is nowhere near peak dinner rush. From the kitchen window, I could clearly see a takeout bag already sitting there. When I tried to get someone's attention to simply ask how much longer it would be, the manager, Sara, rushed over and spoke to me in an extremely rude, arrogant, and dismissive way. Even worse, her only response was that she "didn't know how much longer" I'd have to wait -- despite the food visibly being ready. All I needed was a straightforward answer, but instead I got hostility, no solution, and complete disregard for my time. This is not how a manager should behave

Yes!!!! This place is fire! Super cool decor, friendly service (I even saw the chefs in the back smiling!) and the music was sweet. 20s and 30s with a few 40+. Now the amazing food! The pho is the best I've had. We tried the dumplings too - soooo good. The sauce was delicious! Can't say enough good things about- it was simply incredible and very reasonably priced. Definitely a new favorite!

Yummy noodles, polite, good service. I also got the limeade which was tart but pretty good. Cool ambiance too.

Great spot but we have others we like more for ramen. The vibes & cocktails here though are immaculate! They turn tables quickly on a weekend so it's a great option in WeHa center. They have lots of small bites and sharables but I wish they had more ramen options. The "Spicy Beef" wasn't quite spicy enough for me and felt like it was missing something. I wish they had add-ons that were free. The KFC Bao was our fave of the night. And I could easily drink 3 of their Thai Iced Tea with Boba. Will have to come back and try the Pho! After hearing such great things, I left a little disappointed. Maybe it's just been over hyped.

Food was great. Ice looks cool. Pun intended. The service was great. Got served right away and the decorations are out of this world!

Althought this is not my choice of food, I took my daughter on a dad/daughter date and she loved it! I enjoyed the ambience and the anime shows on TV. The food again not my taste, but she loved it. I had noodles which I found them to be too "seeweed like" and they treated us a plate full of edamame beans which I didnt like. Again I guess the place would be great for asian food fans. Important thing is my daughter loved it!

Service, 4 star. Ambiance, 3 star. Drink, 4 star. Food, 1 star. The service was good. Anthony was our waiter and he was fairly attentive, though he did miss a couple of things along the way. He was close to 5 star service levels so definitely one of the best things about this place. The Drinks were good. We had a mango lasi, limeade, an adult mixed drink and a beer. All were good though the options for wine and beer were fairly limited. There is a nice Sake list for those who enjoy. Ambiance would be 5 star if not for the most ridiculously bad decision on seats. On low tables, they have metal stools with no back. Most Americans are not skinny minny types and for any that have a few extra pounds, or don't hit the gym for but exercises 4-5 hours a week, the stool seats are horrible. Whatever they paid for these, they overpaid by double. Frankly, it is surprising that the restaurant has not replaced these as of yet for how long it's been opened. Then we get to the food. The edamame was good. The Bao should be ignored. We got both the pork belly and KFC ones. The KFC was ok. The pork was mostly fat and overcooked. The bun itself was ok. We also got spring rolls and those were ok, but nothing worth going out of your way to order. That closes the positive of the food review and now we get to the horrible. Kimchi fried rice. Meh. Not anything special, nothing that really stands out and not worth the price charged IMO. However it is infinitely more worth the price than the spicy beef ramen. This is one of the worst beef ramen I've ever had. From beef spare ribs that were essentially just fat and gristle, to beef brisket that had no salt or flavor (for those that have read other reviews of mine, they will note that I'm a low salt guy in general and even with that this was under seasoned for me), the protein didn't help the biggest issue - one note broth that had spice but nothing else. The noodles were ok and I was surprised they added spinach as opposed to a more Asian green (bok choy?). All in all, this is a hard pass and not something I'm likely going to try again unless someone else is paying, and even then only if other options are out. Frankly, my rec to anyone looking at this place is to take the spin to Wethersfield and hit Kaulibon which is miles better than Mecha.

Amazing ramen place in West Hartford. The ambience is so welcoming and plenty of seating along with a bar. The varieties of Ramen are so good. Best items to try is the Fire cracker wings, some Banh mi, General Tsaos shrimp. And. a traditional tomkatsu ramen. The service is very good and the waiters are very helpful and accommodating, Great place for ramen and some drinks. Highly recommeneded, can't wait to go back once again.

"For years I tried to make A grades To satisfy my Mom and Pop In music I'm boss, but in Math, I was lost I guess my head was full of nothing but rock" (Chuck Berry) In case you're wondering, the English translation of the Vietnamese word "Mecha" is "Mom and Pop". Well, Mom and Pop sure hired the right interior designer, because Mecha is one of the most visually striking restaurants I've seen in a very long time. The walls and ceiling are decorated with hundreds of strips of wood -some in a horizontal plane, some in a vertical plane, some hanging from the ceiling like wind chimes. They are all stained in different wood tones and really look fantastic together. We went there for my birthday dinner and were there early enough to order a "mix and match" variety from their Happy Hour menu and regular menu. I started off with a $5 Happy Hour cocktail - a Coconut Clementine-Blueberry Highball. Man oh man was it excellent! Our two selections from the Happy Hour menu were an order of Pork Belly Bao ($8) - 2 pieces served with hoisin, pickled daikon, carrots and Japanese egg mayo, and an order of Korean Fried Chicken Bao ($5) - 2 served with gochujang red chili paste, pickled daikon, carrots, and that Japanese mayo. We don't order baos that often, probably because they're usually doughy and relatively forgettable to eat with no taste. Not these! They were soft as a pillow and delicious. I enjoyed both varieties, but probably liked the chicken a teense more than the pork belly. We supplemented the Happy Hour food with two choices from the regular menu - an order of Saigon Egg Rolls ($8) and Red Oil Dumplings ($12). The Egg Rolls were five thin rolls filled with ground pork, lettuce wraps, mint leaves, and nuoc mam dipping sauce. Our server Rachel instructed us to wrap the egg rolls inside a lettuce leaf and mint sprig, then dip the whole shebang in the sauce for the full Saigon Egg Roll Experience. We followed her instructions and they sure delivered in the taste department. I love spice, so my eyes were immediately drawn to the Red Oil Dumplings with pork, shrimp, sichuan vinegar, cilantro, and adorned with onion strings and thin disks of scallions. Those three huge dumplings were one of the very best dishes I've had all year. FANTASTIC. Our lunch bill was $37 before tax and tip. Service started off very strong but we missed the "how is everything?" and water refill check-backs.

Ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen. The broth is amazing! The pork and egg were yummy but I wish there was more. The green onion was plentiful, as were the noodles. Everything additional (seaweed, mushroom, fish cake, a second piece of pork) is a la carte, making for a pretty expensive bowl of ramen. Took off a star because of the limited items other than broth, noodles and green onion.

I was here a few months ago and enjoyed the ramen. Tonight, I ordered it to go. It was delicious. But......... it was one of the most expensive bowl of ramen I've ever had. I ordered tonkotsu, delicious broth and chewy noodles, came with 2 thinly sliced chashu and half egg, scallions and corn. $15.50. Added extra egg and menma $4, chili oil $1 and extra broth $5!!!! $25.50 for a bowl plus tax amounted to $27.37... holy shit, it is ridiculous for a bowl of ramen.... I get the amount of work making the broth but $5 extra for a little over 8 oz of pure broth is insane! It is good but go to Kaliubon, unfortunately they're closed today, that's why I settled here.... you get better value for your money and it's not over priced with the same quality of broth, if not better and less salty. You get 3 pieces of chashu, not 2, free chili oil, it comes with menma for $15 and $3 for extra broth, way cheaper and better value for your money.

Today was a day to celebrate a small win and I chose Mecha because I felt like eating Chinese food. We have had a very nice culinary experience at all the restaurants I have tried on the Farmington Avenue part of the West Hartford town, so I thought Mecha was a good choice. Dinner was a little late and we hence we ordered a takeout to go home. I like their cheerful bright orange bag. The booking and pick up service were swift. Both the crispy shrimp bao and the KFC Korean fried chicken bao were good to eat. Now if you like Chinese food in the US, you may not agree with the rest of the review, and that's fine. Since we have taste buds for the Indo-Chinese flavor, me and my partner did not like the ramen here, especially the broth. It tasted salty at first and after a few morsels, very fishy and I couldn't swallow it. The noodles, chicken, etc. were cooked fine, no problem. But I had to leave the dish halfway because it made me feel nauseous. I had a similar experience at PF Changs at an airport once, the chicken soup I needed wasn't for the soul or my tastebuds, made me feel more sick than before. I think we will be very vary before ordering Chinese soups again.

Love mecha noodle bar! I love their pho and their spicy ramen soup. The service is always excellent and the restaurant offers a nice modern vibe.

This spot is located on a really fun street, Farmington Avenue in West Hartford, surrounded by plenty of choices for dining. We chose this restaurant to go to because from the outside it looked both fun and laid back. Once inside, you see the decoration is all wood-based, with these pieces hanging from the ceiling. It's a stunning visual effect. The music playing was a cool, calm hip-hop and thankfully it wasn't blasting through the restaurant. (I can't stand when you can't hear yourself when out to eat!) We were immediately seated. The menu is on a little slate that has drinks on one side and food on the other. From first glance, without knowing anything about Mecha, you'll see this place is Asian fusion styled food. There were menu items including ramen, pho and bao as well. If this isn't your typical cuisine or you're not familiar with those items, I'd recommend looking it up a little beforehand because the menu does use the culturally appropriate words to describe what is in the dish. For example, when ordering the ramen, words like "chashu" (pork belly slices) and "tamago" (soft-boiled egg) are on the menu and it helps to know the meanings. I ordered the house made lemon hibiscus soda as my drink. It had a very light and refreshing taste, but I wouldn't compare it to a soda and it didn't seem fizzy to me, but still nice. Our waiter brought over some edamame, on the house, as we had said it was our first time here. The edamame was absolutely amazing! There was a rich flavor from the cloves of garlic and rosemary that you see in the bowl and perfectly cooked in their oil but not greasy at all. We also got the General Tso's coconut shrimp with sticky rice as an appetizer. It was a good blend of... not spice as in spicy, but heat... it left a warm feeling in your mouth without the spice taking over. Then the main attraction, in our case the Tonkotsu ramen that we ordered, came out. I'm incredibly picky about ramen, as I've had some really good ones and feel like I know what I expect from a bowl. This place did not disappoint. At first glance, you see that the bowl is nice and full of ingredients. It's perfectly hot, and ready to start eating right away without burning your mouth. The broth has a creamy texture and great umami flavor that leaves you wanting more. The pork belly chashu is cooked precisely on point with the combination of the meat and the brim of fat melting in your mouth as they merge with the broth. I love that the noodles are actual ramen noodles, not the store bought 50 cent package that I've been served in some other ramen spots. They were cooked well, with enough of a bite to them that doesn't leave them as sloppy pieces dangling from your mouth. The last, and my favorite, part of the ingredients is the soft boiled egg. As an ingredient on its own, it is a little salty, but remember it's made to be eaten in combination with everything else which balances out the flavor. This bowl was a perfect mix for me of what noodles should taste like. I instantly put it at the top of my list of one of the best ramen spots I've ever been to. I also can't forget to mention that it was so affordable! This bowl of ramen costs only $15.50! Super satisfied, super happy and content with everything about the Mecha Noodle Bar as a restaurant. Our service was great, with our waiter being thoughtful but not on top of us in an annoying way. The food was delicious, and the overall environment was both cool and fun to be in. I'd definitely come back and also recommend this spot to anyone looking for good food.

Food was excellent... Service was great... location perfect! Small intimate space... Busy, Upbeat. I loved it! We were a party of 8 so waited a bit for 2 tables but worth the wait.

Wow... I can't believe it took me this long to try this place. Although, for someone with a seafood allergy, there is a limited menu what I was able to get was amazing. The chicken ramen was SO good. I literally craved it for days. I will be back. Very very very soon. I would love to see how it reheats when taken home.

Just like everyone else is saying.... A VIBE. The decor and music set a chill ambiance. They have a full bar and with great cocktails. When I arrived around dinner time, it was packed and the quickest way to get a seat was to sit at the bar. I started off with an old fashion which was made really well. I shared a plate of kimchi fried rice which is plenty for one person if you'd like to make that a full meal. We were starving so that was an appetizer for us. I LOVE that they serve both pho and ramen. It's perfect for my bf and I who prefer one over the other. However, this time we both got ramen. I got the spicy miso with chashu (pork) and my bf got the shoyu paitan which is chicken ramen. I got some additional add ons like menma. They will even give you more noodles for free if you need it to finish your broth! Overall, everything was spectacular. We will be back and recommend to anyone craving ramen. We still talk about the kimchi fried rice and we're trying the pho next time!

I've been here a few times and the Pho soups are great. However, I stopped in yesterday for lunch. I decided to try the pork belly bao which was very disappointing. The bao was nice and soft but the pork belly was hard and tough; it's as though they deep fried it a second time. I also wanted to try the mushrooms dumplings; they were also disappointing, mushed up mushrooms into a paste and tough dumplings. I wouldn't recommend ordering those two dishes. Lastly, I ordered Pho soup with chicken and brisket, it was perfect! They give a good portion of brisket and chicken, plus condiments. The service was excellent!!

I came to Mecha after being turned away from another ramen restaurant in the area due to wait time. I was told I couldn't be seated, as the wait was going to be lengthy. I called Mecha and their response was, "Of course we have room and you will be seated immediately!" And I was! Entering in the restaurant, the lighting and music gave a great Friday Night vibe. RnB playing over the speakers, lights warm and cozy. My server, Erica was terrific. She knew it was my first time at Mecha and pulled up a chair to help me decide on my order. I ordered the SHOYU PAITAN ramen and the coconut shrimp bao. Both were delicious!! I would have preferred if the ramen had a bit more of a flavor profile so it was closer to a soup broth. However, this could have been due to the black garlic. I think next time, I would order it without the black garlic and extra chicken. The portion size was perfect for a big eater like myself. Also, get the chili oil! It was great though I used the whole container and was still left looking for heat. I will definitely be back!

Food was absolutely delicious and service excellent. We had to eat outside in the heat, though, because our server was wearing cologne so strong we couldn't breathe let alone be able to smell our delicious food. If not for that, the visit was perfect. The homemade limeade was a treat!

I love this place! First of all, it's a vibeeee. the bar was decorated with white lights, and 90s hip hop was playing in the back. We started with the pork belly bao buns: the pork was so tasty and i loved the crunch of the pickled carrots! I had the pho tai pho which was delicious and HUGE- it lasted two meals. i added the chili oil for some more spice. It came with bean sprouts and cilantro. My sister has the spicy beef ramen, and she really enjoyed it. I cant wait to return here!

Wow! This new addition to the abundance of West Hartford center restaurant scene fits in so well. Mecha Noodle Bar opened around May 2022 and was packed in like sardines last evening. I was impressed with how well the crew handled the lines. This was my second time eating here - and I brought my BFF this time who loved the place. Our server had personality plus! I loved how quickly our food arrived- hardly any wait! I will go back. There are at least three other Asian cuisine spots nearby, yet MACHA had the crowds! Go MACHA NOODLE BAR!

This is my second time here and why not 100th time? I'm pleasantly surprised by how good their food is considering they're a chain. On this visit we ordered a bunch of stuff: Spare ribs - huge serving and very tasty Spicy shrimp bao - had to order a second one Wings- this was just ok for me Pho-Ga with greens - always a fave Wonton noodle soup + shrimp - This was 5/5 The servers are very attentive, filling our waters and clearing our tables. We were here for lunch and it was comfortable, not crowded and we weren't rushed.

The food was fresh hot and so good. I have eaten at a few Pho places but this place by far has the best pho in the west Hartford area. Also Joe the waiter was very nice!

Great experience. I really wish I remember my servers name because he was incredibly knowledgeable and eager to provide information. Food was also awesome and the craft cocktails were amazing and well made. The atmosphere was very nice and well decorated. Definitely returning next time I get a craving for noodles.

This was my first time here, and my first time ever experiencing Pho. I tried what I believe to be called the pork belly. It was delicious.. I don't recall what the Pho bowl was that I ordered but I did add some ingredients per suggestion of my date and the server. That was also delicious.. I really love the atmosphere and the decor and I loved the wallpaper in the bathroom. It was so cute. The server had a great personality and very knowledgeable.

Been going to this mecha basically every 2-1 weeks for about a year and a half. Never really had a bad or awful experience this time was the usual experience as any other week. But what made this trip to mecha better was the waiter with the Boston hat he truly was the best that made this even better than ever, even gave us free wings. But as someone who has gone here for so many times the only issue/complaint I can give it is that there seems to be a lag in communication between waiter and kitchen or whoever makes the drinks. This time we waited a little bit for drinks, sometimes it's that we don't get a waiter to come to us until like maybe 5-10 minutes in. Not a huge complaint but every trip there seems to be some kind of situation happening either with staff, food or drinks. Although y'all are so nice tho

No reservations and you can't sit until your entire party has arrived. Gives me a bit of unnecessary anxiety. We ended up sitting at the bar. Sabrina our bartender/server was the best! Knows the menu inside and out, but it was the flavor note descriptions for me when explaining the drinks and the food. Love this girl! Their "snacks" on the menu aren't snack sized lol so don't be alarmed! No complaints on that. The red chili dumplings were HUGE, basking in a flavorful oil topped with onion crunch and cilantro. I didn't want it to endddd. I also didn't want to admit I was full because I wanted so badly to try something else. I got the red miso ramen. I admit, I'm not a ramen fanatic but I love miso and I love pork so I really enjoyed the broth and toppings with this. I know this place is all about ramen but if I return I'd try some more of those "snack" items and bao buns because they know what they're doing. Really pleasing interior design - eclectic and unexpecting artwork (the notoriousssss B.I.G.) plus a dope playlist. Once again, the whole no reservations / can't seat thing threw me off but I GET IT logistic wise.

We're big fans of Mecha, and I finally made it to their West Hartford location! The food was consistent to their other locations and we had a great meal as always. Attentive and friendly staff and always a cool vibe. I would definitely come back to this location again!

Restaurant from the outside is unassuming but as you walk inside, be prepared to be blown away. Lots of tables, some are set up community style. Full bar and there's plenty of seating there as well. Quick & friendly service. Now the food... I was not expecting much however every single item we ordered blew us away but I highly recommend the hot & spicy dumplings & ribs, I mean everything is fantastic but don't miss out on those two dishes.

One of our favorite spots- something for everyone! Their ramen and pho are both delicious. I love their Buddha banh mi- I have to get it every time. (BUDDHA BANH MI - crispy coconut tofu, avocado sauce, pickled carrots, herbs $10) The General Tso's shrimp is really yummy. The sticky rice is perfect. (GENERAL TSO'S SHRIMP - coconut shrimp, sweet chili, sticky rice, micro greens, scallions $16) The portion is a little small for the $16 price but it's very tasty. My husband's go to app is the kimchi fried rice, it's a decent portion. (KIMCHI FRIED RICE+- chicken, scallion, bacon, fried egg $14) We always love a good bao- we had the PORK BELLY - hoisin, pickled daikon-carrots, kewpie $11, KFC (korean fried chicken) - gochujang, pickled daikon-carrots, kewpie $9 and COCONUT SHRIMP BAO - chili lime sauce, cilantro, pickles $12. We have also tried the ROASTED MUSHROOM DUMPLINGS - brown butter miso, arugula $11, which were tasty and a decent portion. We've been here a bunch of times and it's always consistent. Gets pretty busy, but the service is usually quick. Their drinks are yummy too. I had an alcoholic Thai tea (there's a non-alcoholic version as well). Parking in this area is always tricky but Mecha is definitely worth it.

Perfect spot if you're craving soup/ramen/pho! Mecha has a great feel to it as they play great music and have the perfect lighting. It did not take long for our party of two to be seated on a Sunday night. We started off with their mushroom dumplings which are so good, I'd like to try and make them at home! I usually get the shoyu paitan which is a chicken ramen that never disappoints. I love saving some broth and getting extra noodles to go! Service was fast and staff was very attentive. It's clear the team works together well.

What a wonderful surprise. We stumbled on this spot after a visit to Penzeys in West Hartford. A plate of delicious shrimp and pork dumplings, steamed to perfect tenderness, and served in a sauce of red Chile oil, crispy bits of ginger and garlic and garnished with green onion just blew me away! Plump chunks of shrimp with ground pork with a bit of crunch were nothing less than extraordinary. We shared a bowl of Pho, rich flavored stock with loads of vegetables and garnished with cilantro and scallions. Crunchy bean sprouts and leafy greens added freshness and crunch rounded out this dish, and sharing was the perfect decision to avoid carrying out leftovers, which would not have been a bad idea, as I'm sure it would reheat beautifully.

Nice place to get lunch or dinner! Happy hour is great here as well! Mecha is decorated very nicely. In terms of food, I like the ramen, pho, and baos. The Pho King is really good, it had short rib that is very tender. The service here is great as well. I have ordered Mecha on Uber eats before and it was not very good for delivery but tastes great at the restaurant.

This place is pretty popular. The restaurant was almost full but we got seated quickly. Our table was bit dirty when we got seated, I had to wipe my chair from some liquid myself. The food that I ate was delicious. I specifically liked the wings, they kind of had this numbing effect the spices which I always like. Even the spring rolls was pretty good and I usually don't like spring rolls. According to my husband, the pho was just okay. The drinks are really good at this place. Service was good, our server was very nice and even explained some of the food.
