Super cute outdoor spot to enjoy some great coffee by Medici, Tacos 🌮 by Veracruz All Natural and beautiful weather! The parking lot is kind of small, but the space is nice and open with ample seating and gorgeous views. Masks are required until you are seated at your spot.

This is one of my new favorite places! Lots of tables and seating with tasty tacos, pastries and coffee with Cafe Medici and Vercruz right beside each other. Beautiful setting.

The coffee is decent and the atmosphere can be fun. Plenty of outdoor seating, but also plenty of people as Veracruz (taco truck next door) attracts quite a crowd. In general, you'll have trouble finding parking and finding a spot to sit, but it's a fun little place to hang out and get a decent cup of coffee.

Visiting Austin friend recommended meeting here. Nice atmosphere for sitting outside. Today was definitely chillier than we expected but wanted to check them out. I order house coffee with splash of almond milk, friend ordered latte and my daughter wanted to share a chocolate croissant that was listed on the menu. The cashier had such bad attitude when she ordered the croissant and said "croissant, ahhh, we have muffins" and proceeded to list the items while pointing to a cake stand by the window. I kindly stated that she ordered the croissant off the posted menu, she then replied that they didn't have any but did it with such attitude. When the total was rung up she asked if I'd like to give a $1 or $2 tip. I did give $2 and felt maybe she would soften up. As we sat outside waiting for our tacos from Vera Cruz, my friend asked the cashier at Vera Cruz if they could turn the portable heater, he advised that she needed to ask Medici, so she did. The cashier said she would but never did. Although they did have people come up to order they weren't too crazy busy to turn one on for us. The house coffee was okay maybe because I added some almond milk to it but the overall experience and snobby attitude would definitely turn me away from coming back.

Coffee was okay, I got a mocha with oat milk. The one thing I will say is that $1 is quite steep for a milk substitute. It made my drink total $7 before tip, and the size was very small. I understand upcharging for milk substitutes, but most places I go to only charge 25-50 cents more for a milk substitute and you get a lot more for the cost. It was a very cute shop though, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere.

My experience with Medici and its conjoined neighbor, Littlefields, was limited because all I ordered was a Topochico. They had a different brand of mineral water, but that was perfectly fine with me. That to say, I didn’t eat any of the food at Medici or tacos at LittleFields, but based on the reviews of others it sounds like they are solid. There were two notable aspects I’d mention, however. There is an Astroturf-covered area that is fenced in and which looks great for kids to play around. In fact there were a number of young parents with kids and it seemed the perfect environment to meet with a friend over a cup of coffee and let your kids play together. The Medici/Littlefields footprint does get crowded, however, and picnic tables that could normally accommodate four if not six adults if they sat closely together will now only accommodate two, sitting across from each other. There are probably eight stools at a bar along the top, so arrive early and grab a spot if you are meeting someone. The other aspect is something that I would think would be much more of an issue for women than a guy. The only bathroom is a very narrow porta potty out back. It’s not one of those deals where there is a small sink and mirror and such. This is one of those that you have a hard time even turning around in, and I would certainly not expect a woman to sit down there and do her business. That last paragraph got more ink than it deserved. Overall, this is a very cool meeting spot for coffee and small bites.

Closes far too early (1:30) which is not what google maps says. Please fix this so people don’t waste their time coming here. Kids everywhere. Not a very relaxing space, and quite expensive. Better Austin coffee elsewhere

The coffee is one of the best. Its a nice secluded place nestled in a neighborhood. Very friendly and fast.
