We visited this restaurant for the beautiful terrace, and it absolutely delivered—spacious, charming, and perfect for a relaxing evening. The atmosphere was lively but not too loud, making it a great spot to unwind. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout the night, which really added to the overall experience. The starters were a pleasant surprise—flavorful and well-prepared, with the Brussels sprouts standing out as a real highlight. Unfortunately, the mains didn’t quite live up to the setting. Both the filet mignon and the chicken were overcooked, which was disappointing given the quality we expected. Overall, a great place for drinks, light bites, and a beautiful terrace evening—but if you’re going for the main courses, you might want to manage your expectations.

I just enjoyed an excellent meal at the Mediterranean Restaurant at La Valencia Hotel! The chilaquiles were rich, delicious, and incredibly filling. The laid-back vibe and stunning ocean view made it the perfect spot for a relaxing and tasty brunch. I highly recommend it!

Lovely restaurant in a beautiful Spanish-style hotel. The view is unbeatable. We came here for brunch with the family. Our server was warm and friendly. I asked to substitute the ham for salmon in the eggs benedict and it was delicious. We all agreed the blueberry pancakes were the best we’d ever eaten!

We had a late lunch at The Mediterranean Room and it was absolutely perfect. 3pm on a Thursday was slow crowd but very fast and attentive service- our drinks were refreshed before we could set them down! Ryan was our waiter and he was extremely pleasant. We were seated outside, no reservation because it was a slow time in the afternoon. The view was spectacular! First, we shared the Ahi Poke Nachos which were lovely. They had lots of fish on top with perfectly crispy wonton chips. Next we shared the Flatbread- the salmon was also a very generous portion and very delicious. Lastly we ordered the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake BLTA. The bacon was nice and crisp and the crab cake was a very generous size once again. Overall this was a perfect late lunch! Great date location, lovely atmosphere and amazing service.

WARNING: The quality of food last night was awful. My wife and I celebrated Valentine’s Day on the 15th due to our schedules. She had planned our date to eat here then walk over to the Comedy Store. Unfortunately, the food left us hungry and disappointed. We both ordered the Filet Mignon medium rare. What we both got was an over cooked piece of leather accompanied by some “double baked” and somehow undercooked potatoes, next to two miniature overcooked and dehydrated carrots. The portions were more like TWO bites of a full meal. So we were left hungry. But still, we tried to push through and finish our dinner on a higher note. We decided to order the “Gelato” which turned out to be regular ice cream. We’ve both had real true gelato and this was ordinary ice cream - nothing special and intentionally misleading. This was the most ridiculous dinner experience and quality of food we’ve both experienced. Note: The atmosphere was romantic and the views were great! BE WARNED!

Magical Christmas Day Brunch! Choosing a place to dine on Christmas Day was a really big deal this year as we were visiting our daughter and had our 2 other kids with us and wanted to have a great experience. I felt like the place was special from the moment we walked from the sidewalk into the hotel. There was live music and the sky was so blue you could see it shine through from the windows that overlooked the ocean. We were seated in the dining room when you first walk in on the left in front of a beautiful fireplace and even more beautiful picture windows framing up an expansive view of the Pacific Ocean. We started with the Cinnamon Roll which I had very high expectations for as it is pretty hard to make a bad cinnamon roll but was frankly disappointed in taste, texture and size (for the money). Around the table we had Chorizo Benedict, Steak & Eggs, Gem Salad and Crab Cake Sandwich. All were excellent and so was the coffee. The drink was beautiful but on the strong side. We were not rushed at all and service was excellent. We finished the meal with Pot De Creme which was AMAZING! Would surely eat here again.

We had a delightful dining experience at this restaurant, where we reserved a table specifically for its delectable cuisine and stunning ocean view. To kick off the evening, I opted for a dark beer, reminiscent of Guinness, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Despite not being overly hungry, we decided to try two appetizers: the clam and octopus. The generous portions left us completely satisfied, with flavors that were absolutely exquisite. Our server, Ryan, was incredibly knowledgeable and guided us through the menu with helpful recommendations. His friendly demeanor and exceptional customer service truly enhanced our dining experience. We savored our meal while taking in the beautiful ocean view, making it one of the most memorable dining experiences during our time in La Jolla.

I had the filet mignon. Not a fan of seafood but I am a fan of great atmosphere, view, and service. This place has all of it.

Yelp
We went there on a beautiful Sunday for brunch. It was just the 3 of us and I got the basic sausage, eggs, and potato's breakfast with cappuccino. The quality of the food was great, the sausages were delicious and the price was expected for such a nice location. Be sure to come a little early to find parking as the hotel does not offer parking for dining as far as I know. There are also plenty of street parking, but you'd have to keep a lookout. I got lucky and found parking almost right away. The decor was stunning and it makes you feel like you can just sit there, drink tea, and watch the ocean and beautiful pool all day. The place wasn't as busy when we went. Breakfast does end at 11am and our server wasn't quite as attentive, but did provide us with what we asked for. Overall, worth checking out.

Yelp
Our first stop on landing San Diego.. we were starving! The brunch at Mediterranean Room hit the right spot! Amazing customer service, extremely friendly staff. Loved the freshly squeezed orange juice and Irish oatmeal with the brown sugar and farmers market berries. The oatmeal was perfect, not the sticky gluey thing seen in some places. My husband ordered their breakfast parfait with the Greek Yogurt, with fresh berries and house made granola; it was heavenly. The yogurt had the absolute perfect texture. Overall great experience and yummy happy meal.

Yelp
Went here for breakfast on Christmas and was blown away! Food was fantastic, view is amazing, drinks were incredible, and the service was incredible Best of all it was very reasonably priced!

Yelp
Mediterranean Room is the main restaurant inside La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla. Indoor main dining room and outdoor patio seating available. Reservation is a must as this place is usually booked full fast especially during sunny weather seasons. The restaurant menu offers something for everyone but is limited. I would have like to see the brunch menu to include more options, as the dinner menu...ie caviar, Crudo, oysters, smoked salmon, and Spanish octopus...additionally, better selections for champagne is a must, currently there's not to many options. However, of all the times I have dined here, the food was nice presented and tasted fantastic. The service from all the staff have been accommodating, attentive and expeditious. If something is not satisfactory, they have offered to correct it...ie the cup of coffee was not strong enough, so a cup of frothy forté cappuccino made it better. While there's room for improvement the Mediterranean Room is still among my top choices when dining in La Jolla.

Yelp
Had breakfast here with two 80 year olds which was an awesome experience on its own. Great service, great food, awesome hotel, amazing views. I will be coming back here next time I am in town

Yelp
Average and pricey food and drinks . Parking is an issue unless you use valet parking or public parking.

Yelp
This place is beautiful and very cozy. We had a section on the couches and high tops. Had a pretty view out of a big window! The food was yummy. My eggs Benedict wasn't as runny as i would've liked, but the flavors were on point. I loved the chipotle hollandaise. The server was nice. I would definitely come back to give lunch a try at this place.

Yelp
Excellent experience! A beautiful restaurant and wonderful service from our waiter, Peter. Our table had a wonderful view of the pool and the ocean. Valet parking was perfect. The food choices and the drink menu were perfect for us. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner. We love both!

Yelp
It was truly delightful, beautifully decorated, and overlooking Ellen Browning Scripps Park and La Jolla Cove!!! I had the Lobster Benedict and my partner had the Mediterranean Omelette. From start to finish, the service was excellent, the servers were attentive through the entire meal. CONSTANTLY REFILLING OUR WATER GLASSES.

Yelp
Made a reservation back in FEBRUARY for a group of ladies for Mother's Day, May 2025 for breakfast. They have the audacity to call me just a few days prior to Mother's Day (which is this Sunday), and tell me that it will be a prix fixe brunch menu at $140pp. Outrageous and not happening! What woman eats $140 worth of breakfast? Certainly not our group, who can barely finish a $22 breakfast plate at a boutique diner. I'm going to go out on a limb here and deduce that the folks at the Mediterranean Room didn't just wake up earlier this week and decide, "hey, let's make this a $140 brunch!" It felt a little calculated to phone reservation holders last minute and throw this bomb on us. Now, our group is unable to acquire reservations anywhere else in the vicinity. Nice business model.

Yelp
I took my husband and parents to the high tea at the La Valencia/Mediterranean Room for their 49th wedding anniversary on Friday. We had such a great, relaxing afternoon. The food was amazing, something about a holiday tea is extra special. The sandwiches were tasty, the cucumber mint was surprisingly light and refreshing and my mom loved the chicken salad. The cranberry orange scones were light and paired perfectly with the Devonshire cream and jam. We had four teas to choose from (green or black) all complimented the sweets and savories quite well. I must say though my favorite tier was the sweets tier. The egg nog cream puffs were light and airy and the perfect hint of egg nog. There were also mini gingerbread cupcakes, cardamom butter spritz cookies , and the amazing chocolate mint macaroons. We also enjoyed bubbly with our tea. The staff was so wonderful, everyone was so nice and very attentive. Mario was great and was always checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Michelle was awesome too (not our table but always super nice as well) and Ryan came by and chatted and asked us how everything was an see we talked about the teas and other things. Everyone was so wonderful. We also appreciated that he mentioned gratuity was included which isn't always told at other teas we've been to. Everything from the view, the food and the staff at the Mediterranean were simply perfect and amazing. Plus a portion of proceeds from the tea are donated to local Rady Children's Hospital. High tea at the La Valencia/Mediterranean Room is $95/pp and is a must whether you are in the area or traveling from out of town.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel and dining area. Love the decor and nice views from the patio and dining area. We went here for lunch. Valet parking is $18 and they do not validate. Staff was not that friendly and service could use improvement. When your server walks past your table several times and doesn't look to see if you need more drinks or anything else. I had to go request the blankets from the host after I requested it from the waitress and she didn't do it. Food was delicious. We really enjoyed the poke nachos and hummus and naan. The La V burger was also good and so were the truffle fries and aioli dip. The turkey avocado club could use improvement. There was a piece of bacon that was rock hard and I couldn't bite into it. Overal, we had a nice lunch and would come here again.

Yelp
We had Open table reservations and as soon as we checked in with the hostess, instead of greeting us she told us we had 15 mins to order and 30 minutes to eat. She was extremely rude. Ironically, the restaurant was dead; nothing like the vibe they sell online. We drove 45 minutes to have a nice dinner for my sister's milestone birthday who was visiting from Switzerland and they didn't even have the decency to let us sit down. What a shame. People who don't understand hospitality shouldn't be allowed to work at hotel restaurants. Will never return. There are plenty of amazing restaurants along the Pacific. Go to mar'sel. Exactly!

Yelp
We walked by this historical hotel and impulsively went in. I'm so glad we did because everything was exceptional from the service to the food. We were checked on often and asked how our time there could be better. There were others sitting near by who wanted to customize drinks, food etc. I honestly felt horrible for the waitstaff and am not sure if they often get entitled customers but they were as professional as professional could gets. The hummus $17 was outstanding and they offered extra warm nann. Veggie tacos $20 were good and interesting but i could have been just satisfied with the hummus alone. My friend had the turkey sandwich $19 and enjoyed it as well. If you're in the area, you should stop by even if it's just for a drink.

Yelp
I was here for a late lunch around 1:30pm. Hostess was ok (not very friendly). I ordered the seared tuna salad, the tuna tasted fishy, the salad was meh for such a nice establishment. My husband ordered the wagyu burger, it was good. The server was not very attentive. Overall, I don't recommend this place for eating just for an afternoon drink. The view was gorgeous; we sat outside, it was a little chilly but with the heaters it was lovely.

Yelp
Had brunch here and the chef was spot on with the food service! Perfect EggsBenedict; crunchy crumpet, a perfect poached egg and silky hollandaise!! The view is million dollar from the terrace overlooking La Jolla Cove! The service is impeccable too! A perfect pulled espresso and its a stellar experience! Parking on the street is easy and FREE!

Yelp
If I were reviewing the view at this restaurant I would give this place 5 stars. It is such a shame that restaurants with great locations do not need to provide good food and service to stay in business. On a breathtakingly beautiful January afternoon I was entertaining one of my favorite clients from Boston and of course I brought her to La Jolla. We were seated in an exceptional table perched above one of the most breathtaking beaches in California. The limited menu was slim pickings. I asked the server about the crab cake and he explained that it was actually served on a brioche bun with truffle fries or a salad, and that sounded delicious. When the meal arrived I started by taking a photo of what looked to be a nice crab burger, but I spied bacon in my photo. Bacon is a deal breaker for me, and no, I will not take it off of my plate and eat food that way. I was not sure what to do as returning food in the company of an important client was definitely not what I wanted to do, particularly when we were short on time. My client must have seen my face turn white and at that moment I was grateful that she knew that I did not eat pork. For a split second I thought that I had misread the menu and that it was my fault for not reading, but she chimed in stating that the menu did not list bacon and that I should return my dish. I told the waiter about the bacon and he had the nerve to ask if it was okay to REMOVE the bacon and bring me back the failed dish. But that is not all, he insisted that the bacon was listed on the menu and treated me as if I was an idiot for not being able to read. They did replace my food, but I had to take it home with me due to my client's schedule. A minor issue was that they served me garlic fries, not truffle fries and up-charged me for them without telling me it was an upgrade. I must give credit where credit is due, and this credit goes to a wonderful bus boy. He was fantastic and I saw him taking great care of every table in his section. I was struggling with the stars because the food was mostly good. I decided on 2 stars, 1 for the view and 1 for the bus boy -3 for the misleading menu, the attempt to serve me the same food that I returned, and the waiter insisting that I did not read the menu correctly.

Yelp
Loved it. Great for breakfast. Million dollar view and reasonable prices. Went on July 4 am after watching seals play in cove. Great decor...historic hotel and first class service. Breakfasts range from $18 up. Very reasonable. Vintage vibe and great service. Go there just to check it out if you do not want to eat there. It is a historically preserved hotel. Had the Bloody Mary- virgin- so not sure of the pour. Pretty but a bit acidic. Had the omelet $18- came with potatoes and generous portion. My #1 had the American breakfast with ham and it was again generous with a thick ham slice. We sat outside- had a view of the ocean and the servers were extremely conscientious and eager. Besides the great architecture and nostalgic decor, the service also was from another time- really really good! LOL. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Went here for Sunday brunch to celebrate a girlfriend's birthday and I couldn't have asked for a better experience ! First of all, the La Valencia Hotel is extremely historic & beautiful ... the views were jaw dropping! The service was great, everyone was very accommodating. The servers let us move tables due to the sun, helped with umbrellas, took a photo of our group, and had great recommendations. We started off with a few cocktails and a brunch board - it was simple and the perfect appetizer. I had the Med omelette (nothing crazy - the way I like it) my friend's had the Lobster Benedict and the Crab Cake Sandwich ( loved that it wasn't stuffed w Mayo). Everything was tasty! The restaurant also presented my friend with a nice birthday chocolate dessert after brunch. This is definitely a great place to go with family, friends & for people visiting.

Yelp
First time here. Friday. It was not very busy. Plenty of seatings. I sat outside nice view. Not as nice as Duke which is next door but still nice. Decent service Med omelett was blaaaand no flavor Cold. House potatos were below average. Would expect such nice to provide better food The reason I gave three and not less is the cheese cake. REALLY GOOD. Parking: street parking. I found easily on Friday but I can imagine on weekends very difficult to find

Yelp
We had an amazing brunch here, the chilaquiles, the steak and eggs, the salads, the pancakes were all cooked to perfection! The atmosphere is beautiful, and the service was solid. We will Gladly return here, compliments to the chef he crushed it

Yelp
Food: 3 stars for the hotel. They can improve it, but the taste lacks flavor. Service: 5 stars for Michael. He serves us with a smile and humble behavior, always checking on us. Very attentive. Ambiance: Ocean view with your choice of patio, fire, dining room, or bar. Drinks: Well-made, balanced, and blended.
google avatar

Yelp
I absolutely enjoy coming the La Valencia hotel and getting a wagyu burger. We came here after our court house wedding. It was easy to get a table for a large group and the room overlooked the ocean. Our server was attentive and always checking in. I came for the wavy burger and always, it was absolutely delicious. Everyone seemed to like their food. I will say that I did expect a better food option from this hotel and was a bit disappointed that it was just sandwiches and burgers. We enjoyed our time eating there and I will be going back for the wagyu.
google avatar

Yumi B.

Yelp
I was really not that too impressed by the menu. I came here with my husband for our late Valentines day and the food was just ok. We were supposed to be seated on their outside patio but could not due to the weather. The waiter we had was phenomenal. Great service and made our night. The ambiance is beautiful with the fireplace on. I don't think I'll will come back though. I might only for the drinks and view.

April K.

Yelp
My friend had Alaskan help it, which is super salty and I had shrimp scampi which was planned and tasted nothing like shrimp scampi. Dally the food was overpriced. Overall, 0/10 would not recommend

Yelp
Went for their Santa story time brunch and it was great! The Santa was great with little kids and went around to all the tables, posed for photos by the tree and then did a story time. Highly recommend!

Whitney R.

Yelp
I almost never write reviews, and I go out to eat a LOT, but I felt compelled to write one for this place. We took my mother to brunch for her 80th birthday. Staff were exceedingly sweet to her, a little card, lots of birthday wishes and a cute little dessert that said HBD with a little candle. Attention like this made her day. Service like this is rare these days. Brunch was tasty, and of course, the views! You guys helped start my mama's day perfectly. Thank you!

Yelp
Sit on the terrace patio for an amazing view while you order the tuna nachos and the wagu burger!!!!

J P.

Yelp
The tea service was seriously a joke. The food was ok and the service was not ok. Just because you're nice doesn't mean the service is good. They had one guy working the entire service and he literally went to the tables to take orders, drop off tea, and to drop off the check. He never came back for anything else the entire time we were there. I never got a chance to try any other tea. I wouldn't mind the price if I received the service that I should've received with this price. However, it was worse than a regular that is fraction of the price. It was $89 per person and included on our check was a SURCHARGE as well as the TIP that was already included!! Nowhere on their website or their service was there a mention of a surcharge or a gratuity automatically included in the bill. This experience was so awful that I literally want to call and get my money back. Do not go here and avoid this place at all cost. I am sick to even think that I pay that much money for mediocre food and service that hardly existed. Shame on you, La Valencia, for thinking that this is an award-winning experience. Never will I ever go to this place again or recommend it.

Roger B.

Yelp
Had a small dinner here with my mom and boyfriend while she's in town. The food was great and Tamer was a very nice guy. Very accommodating and a warm presence! I come from hospitality and he's great! The best person that stopped by our table for sure
google avatar

Todd B.

Yelp
My family and I came here for dinner. We ordered a few appetizers which weren't very good. Neither were the mixed drinks. We sent back one of our appetizers and got an entree that wasn't good either. First we tried the shawarma spiced octopus. We sent it back because it was so chewy. Octopus done well is supposed to be tender. This was like chewing on a tire. We sent it back. We ordered the sweet water prawns and mussels. Bring a bib and your shell cracker. Why can't they de-shell the prawns? We chose the $42 chicken breast as the replacement for chewy octopus. Not sure why a $6 piece of chicken costs $42. Not worth it for an undercooked pieces of chicken. And if the food wasn't bad enough, someone was smoking a cigar somewhere near the restaurant and the smell was such a turnoff. The service was good, but the food wasn't well done at all.
google avatar

Jisun C.

Yelp
Food tasted great, especially the octopus dish. We were seated on ocean view balcony during sunset which was very pleasant. However, the service was embarrassingly slow??? I would be giving a higher rating if it weren't for the waiter who took like 2 entire minutes serving each glass of wine and then our 40 minute wait for the food... I'll give him the benefit the doubt because he was still polite but the food taking 40 minutes to come out was puzzling for the high end restaurant that it is. Also, I was surprised by how small the menu selection was.
google avatar

Katayoun M.

Yelp
I have been going to Mediterranean Room for years, and it has been consistently great! You get the combination of incredible views, historic location, attentive staff and delicious food! This past weekend I had brunch there and ordered Eggs Benedict, they were kind enough to replace ham with avocado and potatoes with fruit for me. If you crave sweet breakfast their Blueberry pancakes are the best I have ever had! I also highly recommend pink lady mocktail!
google avatar

Rhondi S.

Yelp
Located in the La Valencia hotel. Meh food, expensive cocktails but nice ocean view, it's La Jolla. Came here for brunch, had noon reservations on a Saturday, we live in Encinitas but we're in La Jolla running tasks for the day. Great cocktail list, $16 and above, nice bar area and ocean views outside. Goat cheese frittata ok, eggs Benedict ok, mushroom panini was worse it is literally "one small shiitake mushroom" on this sandwich and also because the waitress said I couldn't get the garlic aioli removed because they premake their sandwiches- ok first yuck, second I should have ordered something else. I would rather eat across the street at the Cove House for their $5 cocktails and better breakfast and brunch menu and food....with the same views.
google avatar

Jeannie B.

Yelp
We ate here for a late Mother's Day celebration. I love the location and historic building of the La Valencia Hotel, not to mention the beautiful views. We made an early reservation for our party of 10. It was cold out and they provided blankets to keep us warm. A bonus. I was underwhelmed by the menu choices. Surprised they did not offer more unique breakfast foods. I give it 3 stars because the food was just okay. I expected more from this place since it was in the La Valencia and especially for the price. Just okay.
google avatar

Galyna P.

Yelp
Very beautiful cafe. Amazing view. But food... Benedict is perfect, but potato not fresh . Just not home made
google avatar

Rachel C.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and we're so glad we did! We made reservations and were seated right away on the patio which has a beautiful view of the ocean and sunset. The service was attentive and just the right amount of checking in versus leaving us to our conversation, including not rushing us out once finished. We shared the Brussels sprouts as an appetizer and might be my new favorite (I try Brussels sprouts wherever I go). My friends shared the octopus and gem salad as their entree and said both were excellent. I had the scallops which weee perfectly cooked and came with an incredibly delicious sauce plus roasted carrots and peaches - yum! For dessert, we had the pot de crème and it was rich and decadent although I would have left off the rice cake toppers and cream next time. Overall, a lovely experience and now I want to come back and try this spot out for lunch!
google avatar

Natalia M.

Yelp
what's better than a spot with a view?! nothing. came here randomly for some drinks and was a huge fan! the espresso was one of the best I've had. The view was stunning on top of that. I ordered a sandwich, was pretty simple! Wouldn't go back for it but it was tasty. The poke nachos were super yummy! We got an extra side of the mayo because we didn't have enough. Service was great throughout the dining experience. Would definitely go back to get one of the martinis!
google avatar

Natalia A.

Yelp
I've been coming to the Mediterranean room at La Valencia for maybe 8+ years for Sunday brunch & we love it every time. They have great options and good service, and the view is beautiful. Great for groups and there is valet so you don't have to deal with parking around prospect. Will continue to visit!
google avatar

Amber W.

Yelp
We received exceptional service from Melanie along with the hostess and wait staff. Everyone was attentive and very kind. The view is amazing sitting my the window. The drinks are made well and strong. The chorizo Benedict was very good. It comes with a side of potatoes. The crab cake sandwich is delicious! The crab cake is mostly crab and not a bunch of breading. Fantastic experience!
google avatar

Parada O.

Yelp
I made a reservation for Sunday brunch/baby sprinkle for a small group of us and was so impressed with the service. The hostess put us at a large table inside with a beautiful view of the ocean and built-in for us to place the gifts. The outdoor patio at the front of the hotel is lovely (with live music), but I would definitely want to be seated in their dining room or patio facing the water. The menu is quite limited but just enough variety for breakfast and lunch. They also offer kid's menu options. The food was not as good as the views, but I would still happily go back. And if you didn't already know, parking in downtown La Jolla is a pain; the hotel does offer valet. If you're looking for breakfast/brunch spot with a fantastic view (without a crazy crow and wait), make a reservation at Mediterranean Room.

Yelp
The service was excellent. We had a lovely breakfast. The food was good. I was impressed with how many people touched the table.

Yelp
I am shocked to see this restaurant with low ratings. I truly love it here!! The vibes are outstanding-- old school Mediterranean with such glam and charm with breath taking ocean views. I love taking out of town visitors here for an app and a drink. I've been able to sit inside every time I've visited without a reservation-- though the patio does typically require a reservation. The service is also amazing, ha last time they split a burger 4 ways for us and made it look like a cute app. The hummus dish was amazing too!! Pro tip-- order a pink lady to drink-- the rose gin is amazing and so unique. This place is also extremely dog friendly and even has a dog menu!! My pooch loves it here. Overall such a great place to grab a drink and apps! I will continue to impress my visitors with this stunning place and plan to try the brunch soon!

Yelp
- views are amazing, less crowded and less noisy than George's down the street - Ryan was very friendly and personable even with them being short staffed - we loved our burger and fries and will definitely be back!

Yelp
I struggled with the stars because it used to be so consistently good and it's just not as good as it used to be. Still good, but used to be better. The view and setting are fabulous, old world Mediterranean inside, ocean views outside. I always get the chorizo Benedict. It just wasn't as "melt in my chair" good anymore. Used to be a high quality meat/chorizo patty, not loose meat(now), and on a pan fried masa cake of some sort with an amazing chipotle hollandaise. Today was just on English muffin and I didn't even notice the sauce. Again, wasn't bad (albeit less than room temp and potatoes were cold), but no longer amazing. Went for Mother's Day also and highly disappointed. Went for the same dish, not realizing it was prefixe and NO a la carts ordering. I had zero desire for 3 courses, esp dessert- something I never order, but had no other option. And imagine our sticker shock when we got the bill and saw it was $100 pp- for a meal neither of us wanted, for early brunch, plus cocktails, tax, tip and surcharges, it was closer to $180 pp. we will find a new water view brunch spot in La Jolla next time.

Yelp
Had a wonderful evening here for mine and my boyfriend's anniversary. The aesthetic of this place was beautiful and definitely gave a mediterranean vibe. The outside view really ties everything together, giving it the perfect date night spot. Service was quick and attentive! The food was absolutely delicious, from appetizers to desserts, everything reached our expectations. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Sat down at 6:00pm. Dinner arrived cold for a party of 10 at 8:30. Clearly not worried about service since 25% gratuity was already included. Very loud and barely able to hear the person across the table created by bad acoustics of the room.
