Medusa Greek Taverna Review - Park Slope - New York - The Infatuation

"Medusa Greek Taverna is a neon-lit party where you can order from a menu that has over 100 options on it. It’s hard not to be skeptical of a menu that large—especially when the kitchen is open until 2am four nights a week—but Medusa holds everything from their gyros to their full platters of biftekia up to high standards at any hour. Come for a midnight order of branzino with a generous side portion of roasted lemon potatoes that taste even better soaked in the branzino’s juices, or stop by for some late-night beet hummus and beef-stuffed grape leaves that will make for great leftovers the following morning. This Park Slope spot is open all day, and the kitchen’s impressive consistency should give you the confidence to try some less typical options like the lobster roll gyro and Greek mac and cheese." - Neha Talreja

Literally I’d leave zero stars. I went here 2 weeks ago and the a/c was broken, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The food was good and the hookah was good as well. I went again yesterday and the a/c was still broken, fans were everywhere, the sliders I ordered were raw inside and the ppl who used to do the hookahs were no longer there. The new ppl only had 4 flavors for the hookahs, at a hookah lounge. They also charged to park lol

I went there for brunch with a group of 5. The food was fantastic! Perfectly seasoned, great presentation, and above all, amazing service. Make sure to try the salmon and grits!!! Delissimo!!! I’ve also been to Medusa for the lounge and the ambiance was perfectly to my liking. Great music, excellent drinks, classy vibe, tasting hookahs. Medusa is a welcome addition to Houston’s lounge scenery and I most certainly will be going back.

I have been to Medusa a few times and each time was a very memorable experience. The food was absolutely delightful, the service was friendly and welcoming, the drinks were heavenly (try the mimosa tower for brunch) and the ambiance was most certainly a ‘vibe’. Medusa is quickly becoming my ‘go to’ spot for brunch or just to chill with friends. Ah, I forgot to mention the hookahs which were constantly been tended to by staff. Medusa is most certainly a welcome addition to Houston area entertainment.

I enjoyed myself here. I was invited on Thursday night. It was AWESOME. There was a birthday party for Dior. Many bottles were POPPED for a regular night. The waitresses are very fun and beautiful. The managers catered to my needs. The MEN are handsome. Music was ONE POint. I enjoyed eating Humus. A nice VIBE with great people.

I have visited Medusa twice with friends and it is a really nice spot with beautiful ambiance and excellent food. The lemon pepper wings are seasoned to perfection and we ordered an additional plate because it was that good. I will definitely return back!

Went there on the July 4th weekend, the mimosa fountain was awesome and the food was very tasty, had the lamb and fries. Ambience was amazing and service was great. Will definitely be back.

If it wasn’t for the food i would leave no star’s! On May 21 I went to this place with a large group. I ordered 1 drink from the bar when the bartender ( a tall light skinned bald man) printed my receipt it came up blank so he asked another bartender about it. it took a min for anyone to address me , or even say there was a problem. I looked at my phone and noticed i was then charged a 2nd time for a totally different amount , I asked if there was an issue because i still hadn’t signed any receipt, they told me the system was messing up and printing blank , i told them i was charged twice and they assured me they fixed it and I would be refunded because they would get a manager to handle it, and someone should bring me a receipt before I left. I was there for hours and nothing , when i went back up they said i wouldn’t get a receipt but i should get a refund of the 2nd charge in 3-5 business days. I waited still no refund, so I reached out via insta as they had no contact info at the time ( no response) went up the during the supposed business hours doors locked . STILL HAVENT GOTTEN MY MONEY BACK! NEVER USE YOUR CARD HERE!
