Meena’s Thai Kitchen

We ordered the Drunken Noodle with Pork, Fried Rice with Chicken, Steamed Dumplings and the Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango. The food was really delicious and the portions were huge. I ordered the Sticky Rice to-go but when I saw it, I just had to taste it before we left cause it looked and smelled so delicious. I ended up eating the whole thing cause it was so good. I then ordered two more to-go.Will definitely be coming back soon!

I ordered the pad see ew. That is my go to order when I try a new Thai place. This was very delicious and fresh ingredients. Of course you can have the spice level adjusted to your taste, and they did a great job of giving me enough heat without being too hot that I couldn’t enjoy my meal. Meena is very warm and welcoming. I would definitely eat here again.

This was our first visit to Meena's, and due to differing opinions, if I eat here again, I will do so alone. I personally enjoyed both of our meals as my wife didn't care for her's and it became take home for me. I found the Drunken Noodle to be well spiced, and I liked the flavor/heat balance. My Lemon Grass Soup (Tom Yum) was delicious, and I finished it all, which is unusual for me. There is a funky smell to the restaurant when you walk in, but you quickly become "nose blind," and it ceases to be noticeable. They do not have fountain drinks, so soda and water come bottled. I would recommend this as a take out restaurant as I saw a lot of carry out business going on.

Ver big portion. Generous. 4/5 for flavor. Mango sticky rice is very on point. Good pricing.

Our first time Meena's & this place is amazing. We got the Spicy Red chicken curry, wonton soup, extra spicy Drunken noodle, spring roll & I'd recommend all of it to anyone who enjoys some spice. Look forward to coming back again.

We truly needed some confort food after the night we had, and the Pad See Eew and spring rolls were a delicious remedy to having your front door plowed by a vehicle. We asked for extra rice noodles and sauce and they sure did deliver with a beautifully hearty portion of noodles, the spring rolls were crispy. Thank you for making our day a bit better, we definitely reccomend ordering from here :)

Meena's is a place you want to try if you love good Thai food! I saw they moved in, and being that I love Thai food, I had to give them a try. I was welcomed in with a warm greeting. They weren't busy, so I got some good one on one hospitality. Everything on the menu sounded good in my head as I was reading, and the pictures displayed made my decision a little hard. I decided on the Drunken Noodles to try and change things up. I usually go with pad thai and hold the peanuts when I eat Thai food. I also ordered the coconut curry soup and one other that I can't remember right now, along with some spring rolls and a Thai tea. I had a short wait, but while waiting, the young lady brought out my drink and said no charge because they didn't have lids currently for to go drinks. I was appreciative, and my food was out bagged and ready to go minutes later. When I got home, everything looked and smelled amazing! I devoured my plate and the spring rolls and tried the different soups also. Everything tasted great, and I could tell it was all made with love and care. The drunken noodles weren't my favorite, so I have got to get back in there to try the pad thai. Give Meena's a try. You won't be disappointed.

Omg new Thai food restaurant in Killeen! So, of course, I had to try it. Thai food is a favorite of our family. We ordered the Panang curry with beef medium spice, and drunken noodles mild spice, and a Thai tea. The egg rolls were amazing! I immediately thought of Meeboon's in Temple and was surprised to learn that Meena and Meemee are family! They make egg rolls together! So, quality egg rolls, full of flavor 100% The dining room is spacious and peaceful, and very clean. The staff are attentive and friendly. Meena will absolutely come out and ask how you liked the food. She is wonderful! It's a hidden gem no one should miss. Whether stationed at Fort Cavazos, visiting, retired or passing through, take some time to experience a taste of Thailand... and don't ask for Thai SPICY anything unless you can handle your lips falling off.

Visited family for the weekend only ! This place is a true Gem! On Friday we tried the E2 Garlic and Black pepper with chicken -Sautéed broccoli in a garlic and black pepper sauce added broccoli & Bell peppers. It was sooo good we returned on Saturday ! I tried the N2 Pad Woonsen with Shrimp! Both of these dishes were amazing!! The customer service was excellent. The food was made to order and it was hot and fresh ! Returning to San Antonio twr and I plan to take some hm to my girls so they can try . If you haven't tried it's a must ! Next time I plan to try new things bc all looks delicious and I know I'll enjoy it !

Came in on a Sunday and it was pretty slow going. It was empty and silent which was pretty awkward because all we could hear was the staff laughing and talking. The only water they provide is bottled water ($1) and do not offer any alternatives for drinking water- no tap or anything. Which I think is incredibly wasteful in terms of plastic use and the environment. In addition, descriptions on the menu are inaccurate. I ordered the green curry which was supposed to have Thai eggplant, but when I received it had no eggplant but a ton of green beans which wasn't listed on the menu. This could be bad for people who have allergies. Our very young server (probably 11 or 12 years old) did kindly explain that her father didn't know the menu well. They did allow me to reorder, but the subsequent meal wasn't that great either.

I was looking for a place to get some food while in Killeen and came across a Thai place that had a few good reviews, but not very much. It was so close to where I was staying that I just had to walk over there and give it a try anyway. The ambiance was pretty standard and nothing special. One of the employees was friendly and provided standard service, while the other one made faces and gave off the vibe that he did not want to be there or he just didn't want to be seen by customers, which was slightly off putting. He had an obvious attitude. It was not very busy and they were about forty-five minutes from closing. I ordered takeout and got one chicken satay and one spicy basil fried rice with beef, which came out to $24.00 There were a couple others waiting for takeout, and another customer who they did not allow to eat in the establishment, because they were forty-five minutes from closing. However, it took them almost an hour to get my food which was ridiculous. They could have just let the person eat in the time it took. No apologies and not a care in the world. Chicken satay was not too dry but was not very flavourful. Peanut sauce that came with it had a good peanut flavour, but a tad too sweet. The spicy basil fried rice was underwhelming and I'm sure they microwaved it, because the lime they put in the dish was scorching hot. Portions were massive. The rice dish could be shared between 2-3 people. Overall, I wasn't very impressed and will not return. This place is quantity over quality.

Love love the Spicy Basil Chicken and the Thai Iced Tea! Amazing portions, great fresh quality and taste! For awesome price! Service was awesome and pickup time was true to what was emailed. And the place had a dark ambiance for the evening, half the lights were on so it looked like mostly a pick up spot in the evening (at least in December).

GENUINELY AMAZING. A hidden gem within Killeen that I believe those coming off base should try and those around should too. The food came in great portions for the price and tasted amazing. Being a family business the workers are the kids but that is okay they are learning life skills! Amazing wall art in the building too. Genuinely good thai food

Good sized portions, but not authentic Thai, the Pad Thai sauce was a ketchup based, it was red and not edible. I prefer the authentic Pad Thai that has brown sauce. If you like tomato sauce you might like this ketchup version. lol

Pad Thai was very dry and noodles had a gummy texture. Chicken overcooked, dry and tough. Also ordered the coconut soup with chicken. The broth was way too thick, and once again the chicken was tough and chewy. This will be my last time ordering from here.

Waited an hour for our food. Wouldn't allow us to eat in. No warning that the food would take that long. And to top it off, the food was not worth the wait. Service was poor, young girl in pajama pants that spent more time on her phone than she did working.

Avoid this place LIKE THE PLAGUE. They will be backed up an hour without telling you, take your order, and then tell you it will take forever and refuse to give you a refund. Not worth it no matter how good the food is.

The food was delicious, the service was prompt we will return for sure. Three of us ordered different dishes and the servings were generous.

The only reason they are getting a 3 is that the staff was nice. Now about the food. I ordered PAD THAI pretty standard meal. I got Thai noodles in some type of RED sauce. There were no bean sprouts, no indication of spice level (it was zero, which was fine). I have never had pad Thai that tasted so awful. I will NEVER order from them again. If u want pad Thai go somewhere else!

I love Thai food and this new restaurant has the absolute Best Thai food in town. I took my wife and Kids (my children are picky eaters) and they were ready for seconds. I recommend this restaurant. Friendly and very welcoming staff. The moment you walk in, it smells delicious!!

Food was great, friendly service, and the restaurant was clean. My daughter and I came here for dinner and got the spring rolls, red curry, and massaman curry, all were very good. While we were there, we saw an interaction between an employee and customer where the customer was clearly in the wrong and obviously just didn't know what she was ordering. I thought the employee handled it very well, however that didn't stop the customer from walking out without paying her tab while the employees were in the back. This appears to be a small family owned business. Go check them out and support them!

AMAZING affordable Thai food!! The pad thai is delicious. The combination fried rice is to die for. HUGE portions! You can definitely share.
