A Hidden Gem Underground – Fully Halal & Truly Memorable This place is an underground hidden gem, offering a fully halal menu with an impressive range of options. The facilities are fantastic, including convenient prayer rooms, and the traditional rustic decor downstairs adds a warm, authentic charm. The food was absolutely sublime — rich in flavour and beautifully presented — and the service was equally outstanding. Everything arrived promptly, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Parking is available on-site, and it’s free on Sundays — a great bonus. We were genuinely impressed and will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommended!

What a delicious steak dinner. We both had the mid-grade ribeye medium rare and split 3 sides of mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and sautéed mushrooms. All perfectly prepared, well seasoned, and hot. For beverage I had delicious fresh made orange juice and my husband had a bottled root beer that was disappointing (tasted more like licorice and contained gluten). Everything else we had was gluten free and absolutely perfect. Vibe was chill and quiet. Staff was soft spoken, kind, and attentive. Food came out quickly. Great experience all around. We did not have a reservation on a Monday night at 8pm and only waited about 15 min for a table.

We visited for an extended family dinner on a Friday. The decor in the basement is quite cool, being dimly lit and cave like. As a large group of 12 people we decided to pre order, although this was not required by the venue. We shared a few starters including the prawns, calamari and spring rolls and these were all quite enjoyable, the prawns in particular. I had a Black Angus ribeye for my main, with bone marrow sauce and spinach and truffle fries on the side. The ribeye was decent enough although a bit thinly cut and a modest portion at 280g (the only size on offer for ribeye). The bone marrow sauce was not great though, and both sides fairly average. I tried the pineapple cake for dessert which was again fairly average and a bit too sweet. Service was excellent. We had a dedicated server for our group who was very attentive and quite friendly as well. The food was delivered at a good pace considering our group size. I didn’t pay the bill so can’t comment on value for money. Overall it was an “ok” steakhouse experience, with some elements of the meal better than others. This venue is marketed at Halal consumers and apart from a fully Halal menu also doesn’t serve any alcohol. To my knowledge it is the only fully Halal steakhouse in the area and perhaps even in central London - although there are others which offer Halal options which I would rate much higher such as Fazenda and Beast. Meet Bros does therefore hold some appeal within its niche market, but for those without a Halal requirement I couldn’t see any reason to visit when you have the likes of Hawksmoor et al to choose from.

Salvatore our host was amazing, he was very attentive and he explained the menu, gave us fantastic recommendations and told us interesting facts about the restaurant. The food was the best I've had. Everything was on point. I think the price point is exactly what you would expect to pay for good food and the food was that good. I would highly recommend coming. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.

Stopped in for a delicious tea and coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. It has the most relaxing atmosphere and an awesome style let alone wonderfully friendly staff. Also kept spotlessly clean! We were also shown the downstairs section, a surprisingly large restaurant area... I'll let the pictures describe the rest.

Amazing place to go and eat. From the get go, the person who greeted us was so kind and helped us to our seating. It was a lady in a hijab so special thanks to her. She made sure we had the allergens sheet and again, everything was respectful and friendly. The waiters also were brilliant, asking us if everything’s okay, helping us understand the order etc. the food was just incredible. The burger and the ribeye was just amazing, cooked right as well which is something other restaurants don’t seem to get right. With the atmosphere feeling subtle yet pleasing, everyone being friendly, this place isn’t short from a must recommend. I’m definitely coming back again.

I had heard about this restaurant from a lot of people and the online reviews also implied that I must visit to get a good halal steak. Unfortunately, my experience was not that great. First of all, they have no fillet steaks, so we ordered a Ribeye (Black Angus) and a Striploin (Wagyu 6-7). We also ordered an Angus Burger to share. We ordered Creamy Mashed Potatoes and Miso Aubergine as sides, and Bone Marrow Sauce and Peppercorn Sauce for our steaks. For dessert we had Chocolate Fondant and coffees. For drinks, we had a Lychee Mojito and a Ginger Ale. The food was all slightly disappointing. The burger was entirely uninspiring and forgettable. The steaks were ok, but considering the Wagyu steak cost £105.61 and was nearly tasteless, it was genuinely disappointing. The sides, the mocktail and coffees - everything was just ok. The service was alright - not very impressive but nothing to complain about. All in all, this is a below par, very ordinary restaurant, with very ordinary, forgettable food, but their reputation is huge, and they get a lot of halal-eating clientele that rates them highly. I do not agree because I have had far better halal steak and far better halal burgers in London, sometimes at the same price and often at half or less of this price, in better or similar ambience and always with better service. So, I will not be visiting again.

Attended a wedding here yesterday; the food, service, ambiance, and overall experience were excellent. Our host, Diyor, was attentive and friendly. The meats were cooked perfectly to each of our requests. 10/10, would definitely dine here again.
