A Hidden Gem Underground – Fully Halal & Truly Memorable This place is an underground hidden gem, offering a fully halal menu with an impressive range of options. The facilities are fantastic, including convenient prayer rooms, and the traditional rustic decor downstairs adds a warm, authentic charm. The food was absolutely sublime — rich in flavour and beautifully presented — and the service was equally outstanding. Everything arrived promptly, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Parking is available on-site, and it’s free on Sundays — a great bonus. We were genuinely impressed and will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommended!

What a delicious steak dinner. We both had the mid-grade ribeye medium rare and split 3 sides of mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and sautéed mushrooms. All perfectly prepared, well seasoned, and hot. For beverage I had delicious fresh made orange juice and my husband had a bottled root beer that was disappointing (tasted more like licorice and contained gluten). Everything else we had was gluten free and absolutely perfect. Vibe was chill and quiet. Staff was soft spoken, kind, and attentive. Food came out quickly. Great experience all around. We did not have a reservation on a Monday night at 8pm and only waited about 15 min for a table.

We visited for an extended family dinner on a Friday. The decor in the basement is quite cool, being dimly lit and cave like. As a large group of 12 people we decided to pre order, although this was not required by the venue. We shared a few starters including the prawns, calamari and spring rolls and these were all quite enjoyable, the prawns in particular. I had a Black Angus ribeye for my main, with bone marrow sauce and spinach and truffle fries on the side. The ribeye was decent enough although a bit thinly cut and a modest portion at 280g (the only size on offer for ribeye). The bone marrow sauce was not great though, and both sides fairly average. I tried the pineapple cake for dessert which was again fairly average and a bit too sweet. Service was excellent. We had a dedicated server for our group who was very attentive and quite friendly as well. The food was delivered at a good pace considering our group size. I didn’t pay the bill so can’t comment on value for money. Overall it was an “ok” steakhouse experience, with some elements of the meal better than others. This venue is marketed at Halal consumers and apart from a fully Halal menu also doesn’t serve any alcohol. To my knowledge it is the only fully Halal steakhouse in the area and perhaps even in central London - although there are others which offer Halal options which I would rate much higher such as Fazenda and Beast. Meet Bros does therefore hold some appeal within its niche market, but for those without a Halal requirement I couldn’t see any reason to visit when you have the likes of Hawksmoor et al to choose from.

Amazing place to go and eat. From the get go, the person who greeted us was so kind and helped us to our seating. It was a lady in a hijab so special thanks to her. She made sure we had the allergens sheet and again, everything was respectful and friendly. The waiters also were brilliant, asking us if everything’s okay, helping us understand the order etc. the food was just incredible. The burger and the ribeye was just amazing, cooked right as well which is something other restaurants don’t seem to get right. With the atmosphere feeling subtle yet pleasing, everyone being friendly, this place isn’t short from a must recommend. I’m definitely coming back again.

I’m a regular at this restaurant and hands down I’ve never been disappointed with this place. The dishes here are exceptional, service and decor. The decor is authentic and classy. It’s great for a special occasion or a regular dinner. I usually order small plates and Australian grain fed rib eye. I have tasted the burgers and majority of the small plates and every dish has been great. Although it is on the expensive side I have to say it’s worth every penny that I pay. They also have a prayer room if your Muslim and the place is 100% halal and no alcohol is served on the premises. My regular servers are salvatore and Dior who are great and provide amazing hospitality every time I come.

If you're thinking about whether to visit this place or not- JUST GO. This place was incredible! Felt like I was whisked away to a holiday destination. Was really special. The service was really good and staff were incredibly friendly. Shoutout to the manager Danish who was extremely accommodating and reccomended a superb mains course steak perfect to my liking. Initially ordered udon Noodles but found it was quite simple and delicate in flavours and not to my usual liking of flavours. Danish made an excellent steak recommendation and was really helpful in making sure we had an excellent experience. 👍🏼 Paired with truffle fries The lamb shank was the STAR of the show. The mash is something I've never really tasted before. Wow is all I have to say 😍 Even the Korean slaw was amazing 👏🏼 Only regret I have is not having enough space to try the biryani. Will definitely be going back. All meals are subject to 12.5% service charge, roughly looking at £50ph. Located a short walk from Paddington station. A must visit. Thank you for the excellent hospitality 🙏🏽👍🏼

Visiting London from France, we were looking for a nice restaurant to celebrate my daughters’ birthday. Very nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, and attentive staff. Food was really good and the service was quick. Our waitress, Simran, was lovely and took great care of us and my daughters. Finally, we were able to celebrate my twins' birthday by ordering a dessert. They sang “happy birthday” to them and they were super happy 😊 I recommend this place.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Meet Bros, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! Although we didn’t have a reservation, the staff was incredibly accommodating and welcomed us as walk-ins, which we truly appreciated. From the outside, the restaurant appears small, but once you step inside, you're greeted by a spacious dining area in the basement, complete with warm, cozy interiors featuring charming stone walls and soft lighting. The ambiance was inviting, making it the perfect setting for a delightful meal. Meet Bros is a Malaysian restaurant, and the lobby is decorated with various accolades, showcasing their commitment to excellence. One standout feature was the refrigerator stocked with a variety of meat cuts, highlighting their dedication to quality. For starters, we ordered the spring rolls made from BBQ Angus beef, cheddar cheese, and pickled onions, served with a tangy sauce. They were the crispiest, crunchiest, and most delicious rolls I've ever had! For the main course, we had to try the steak. We ordered the striploin, and it was undoubtedly the juiciest, most tender piece of meat I've ever tasted, perfectly marbled with just the right amount of fat. We also couldn't resist trying their beef burger, made from grilled Angus beef in clarified butter, topped with American cheese and truffled mayo, all nestled in a brioche bun and served with fries. It was heavenly! The service at Meet Bros was exceptional. Our host was attentive and ensured that all our needs were met. While our table was a bit small and located in the overflow section of the lobby, we completely understood, given that we hadn’t made a reservation. Overall, I highly recommend Meet Bros for anyone looking for delicious halal steaks and burgers in London. You won't be disappointed!
