Even my mom, who has an aversion to anything sweet, will find *any* excuse to come here. We love the herb jellies, and the fact that there are hot versions of some of our favorites so we can eat it while it's cold— great for any time of the year! The staff are all very warm, friendly, and amicable, as well as speedy! I swear I just turned my back after placing my order and out came my treat! The decoration matches whatever holiday's going on, and the lighting and background music makes it a 10/10 relaxing atmosphere. I rarely leave five stars since most places have either slow service or just overall very meh items (either too sweet or not sweet at all), but this place is always worth going out of your way to get something!

Google
Loved the mochi, very soft and tasty. The waffle could use little more vanilla. Loved my herbal jelly bowl, would have been better if it was hot. Thought I ordered hot anywhere..it was great. Nice clean interiors.

Google
A classic Taiwanese spot for shaved iced. Great way to end the meal as it is not too sweet. I would recommend dine in, as take out the ice gets very compacted and doesn’t retain the soft texture. It also seems the amount of taro balls, jelly etc is reduced when you order take out so beware.

Sunny N.

Google
I would come here after eating somewhere in the plaza. This time, I came by for the Nikke collab. The owner is kind and helpful with assisting about the Nikke promotion they were running. Ordered a couple drinks and they were just the right amount of sweetness. There are a lot of options to choose to eat and/or drink. The atmosphere and ambiance is soothing and relaxing. Staff were kind and thorough with preparing and serving my order.

Mavis H.

Google
they’re not being honest about their menu. The shave ice claimed to have the big sweet potato ball, but it didn’t come with one. I asked the staff, and they said it’s not on this menu, even though it was listed. How can I trust what I’m ordering if your menu isn’t even correct? They refused to add it for me, which feels like such a scam.

Alex N.

Google
What a great place to get Taiwanese desserts! Clean open space with friendly service! Lots of options to pick from too. My favorite was their bubble waffle but their taro pasta and balls are so unique and refreshing. I highly recommend sharing! I’d come back!

Google
Update Nov 6: Hi thanks for your response, but I am not quite sure if you were replying to the owner of this store or to me, as I do not understand what you meant. I don't care if that's your company policy or what. I was complaining about the price I paid was not worth it at all considering how stingy you guys were with toppings customers paid extra for. --- They used to have more variety of tofu flavors and now you can only do customization by adding toppings with $ And this is what I got after adding two toppings. Really disappointing

Google
Got the hot red bean soup combo A, the Starwberry Shaved Ice, and the brown sugar boba milky shaved ice. The red bean soup was very good, I would order that again. The shaved ice are HUGE! It's not the silky smooth shaved ice that we were hoping for, but the flavors are pretty great.

Yelp
It's been a while since I been back and they definitely have changed. The menu is a lot smaller now. Apparently, they just reduced the size of the menu on the day I went Soo I was slightly disappointed some of the items weren't available. The girl who helped me was nice though, she tried to explain that the menu is currently only updated in store and apologized. Looks like majority of the orders were takeout so the place is pretty quiet itself. I ended up getting a hot tofu desserts with added grass jelly. It was delicious. It was nostalgic of my childhood. The portion was also very big as well. Overall I would say this is more of a 3.5 star right now, but I will be back again.
google avatar

Sarai G.

Yelp
The place is self service. There are plenty of tables & stools to gather with small or large groups. Wr ordered the mango shaved ice. Its HUGE. Enough for 4 people. The ice isnt as fine as other shaved ice places we have visited, but still very delicious. We really liked adding boba to our treat. The only reason I am giving it a 4 is because the tables were all dirty & you have to do the cleaning. They have Clorox wipes all over that you use to wipe down with disposable gloves.

Yelp
I came in to grab some dessert. You can order at the kiosk, online or in person. The employees there were really friendly and helpful. The interior is very clean, modern, and has cute decor. Check out their monthly specials for great deals. I got two desserts for $16.99. I packed one to go for later. The desserts taste light on sugar, which is common in Asian desserts. I felt like it tasted okay for my red bean dessert. It felt like it tasted a little watered down. Overall, it wasn't bad for the special. I would not want to pay full price of the individual desserts.

Yelp
What a great place to get Taiwanese desserts! Clean open space with friendly service! Lots of options to pick from too. My favorite was their bubble waffle but their taro pasta and balls are so unique and refreshing. I highly recommend sharing! I'd come back!

Yelp
In the mood for shaved ice but didn't feel like driving to Snow Village or Sulbim. First of all the shaved ice was coarse and didn't have a good texture. Furthermore it lacked the flavor. Also there were a few hand written notes asking people to bus their own table. That is fine but the way it was written and posted on the wall just gave me a bad vibe. This place has a good potential but would require some serious makeover.

Yelp
Pretty big dessert place, there were only a few other parties when I went. My sisters and I ended up sharing a tofu pudding and a side of grass jelly. We opted for dining in but ended up getting a takeout container.. ofc it was not too sweet so it was good
google avatar

Tiffany T.

Yelp
Hot red bean with peanuts and taro - 2/5 not too sweet and good red bean flavor. wish there was more flavors in this as it got boring a bit quickly and the red bean took over most of the other topping tastes. the taro ball texture though was pretty great with the right amount of chew to softness!
google avatar

Bessie C.

Yelp
Lots of parking available and spacious seating. The menu is huge! You can use a kiosk or staff can also take orders.

Yelp
Such good refreshing asian desserts. The perfect not to sweet treat after a meal in one of the many spots in this plaza! This spot is spacious and clean, and also has really cozy seating. We got the grass jelly with ube and taro paste on top, and also a side of the taro sweet potato balls. This was SO good. Both pastes were so flavorful and delicious and paired so well with the fresh grass jelly. I absolutely love the chewiness of the taro balls, and the taro sweet potato balls were the perfect combination of chewy with a fun taro surprise inside. The portion was also very generous. I love meet fresh and have been to a few locations, and this one is top notch!

Yelp
I had such a good experience here. I came down with some family and for 4th of July they gave out free scoops of ice cream to us! They were really fast bringing out our drinks and workers were amazing. It was a fun spot to relax and talk while drinking some good tea.
google avatar

Yelp
Place is located in a plaza full of free parking spots. Has good selections of warm/cold desserts.

Yelp
Ambiance: playing 2000s pop boy band music, we laughed about that since we usually don't notice the music but here it didn't at all seem to fit with the vibe. Service: Orders are at a kiosk, and numbers and called out to pick up food. Food: - Mochi set (coconut and brown sugar). Drizzled with caramel sauce which made it extra artificially sweet. The mochis were an odd texture, not very soft, with a strange amount of chew. - Taro bowl in the signature section: Friend complained it wasn't a lot, the picture had much more than what was delivered. It wasn't bad, just didn't seem to be special to any of us. This was definitely better than the mochi set though.
google avatar

Bill X.

Yelp
Tried this store for the first time, their taste is more similar to what I had in Asia three years ago. Way better than the south center mall location. Order two signature bowl, everything is on point, will be back for sure!

Yelp
I ordered 3 hot herbal teas Togo this past saturday at 1:30 pm. They were super hot. So i waited for them to cool down a bit. After about 30 minites i tried drinking it. All 3 were totally undrinkable. Everything was mushy, like gooey jello. Very unappetizing. Very disappointing.

Yelp
Solid dessert spot! Great with friends and very refreshing. Always love meet fresh and I'm glad we ordered this small taro pudding ice cream to share, it was sneakily dense but had a very good taro taste.

Yelp
TERRIBLE SERVICE, TERRIBLE SYSTEM. Their entire payment system malfunctioned after waiting in line for 20 minutes. Afterwards, I decided to scan their QR code and order online. After an additional 20 minutes of waiting, I went up to check with the staff about my order and they said it was nowhere to be found in their system. The staff was also rude and didn't care to help me after standing at the counter for quite some time. They were typing on the screen and looking for the order and after 5 minutes of clicking around they claimed they "found it." Since it was a busy time, there were many people at the location and they pushed or order to the bottom. I'm still sitting here waiting for my order and in total I've waited close to an hour. They also forgot my order and didn't include any additional toppings that I ordered. It wasn't until I asked them about it that they said they could add in the topping. I'm never coming back.

Yelp
Meet Fresh is a dessert shop where you can find a wide variety of Taiwanese desserts, including grass jelly, taro, red bean, tofu pudding, and shaved ice. Order via the touchscreen at the entrance, and after a short wait, the order is ready. There is a large well lit seating area with tables and chairs, or you can also order for takeout. (For the shaved ice, however, I would recommend not taking it to-go, since it is a towering concoction that would be hard to transport.) I ordered the Icy Grass Jelly Signature. The grass jelly is dark, silky, and softer than you might expect. The taro balls accompanying the grass jelly had a bit more texture and chew, contrasting with the softness of the jelly. The ice was a cylindrical disk at the bottom of the bowl, which melts as you eat the toppings above it. Overall, a good dessert stop in Bellevue if you're looking for something unique to try!
google avatar

Autumn L.

Yelp
Honestly, I love Meet Fresh so much because their grass jelly never misses! I pretty much exclusively come here for their icy grass jelly series, and I usually go with the signature with taro balls, or with tapioca pearls, peanuts, and red beans. I always get 2 half & half things for one bowl of grass jelly, which makes the most perfect creamy and refreshing dessert. It is a little pricy and service can be slow if there's a crowd, but I still come back here because other places don't do grass jelly like this.
google avatar

Yelp
The customer service is bad. The employees were ignorant. We came here almost every week but this is by far the worst experience ever. I ordered a red bean soup with extra red bean but they didn't give a full scoop of red beans. Bad experience!! The employee did not wear gloves while handling the food. One of them even scratched his head and touched the food he was making. So unsanitary.

Yelp
One of our favorite places for dessert. Lots of choices and we haven't had any that we didn't like. This visit, we shared a Mochi Milk Shaved Ice. I can't imagine one person being able to finish one order...it's enough to share between 3-4 adults. From their website: Mini Q, Melon Jelly, Potaro Balls, Q Mochi, Ice Cream The Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice is a great option if you love all kinds of toppings! We feature our signature Mini Q (Mini Taro Balls) and Potaro (Sweet Potato Taro) Balls for a taste of our finely harvested taro and sweet potatoes, sweet and chewy melon jelly, and smooth and chewy Q Mochi and sweet and creamy vanilla ice cream. You can also add more toppings at additional cost. We added mung beans. Delicious!!! They were busy but we didn't wait too long for our dessert. Their online ordering system makes it easy to order for those who haven't been here before -- they have pictures!

Yelp
Solid place in a plaza with plenty of free lot parking. There's plenty of seating inside, super group friendly. They have self ordering machines that are efficient. We ordered a bunch of dessert, I'm a grass jelly fanatic, so I ordered a bowl of just grass jelly ice. Super good, very classic grass jelly flavor (sweet, a little herbal). The ice at the bottom was also covered in grass jelly syrup so the grass jelly joy continues throughout the whole bowl The bowls of dessert are also really big, so would definitely recommend sharing. After dinner and the giant bowl of grass jelly, I was super stuffed.
google avatar

Yelp
Self order stations are very simple. 2 bathrooms and lots of seating and parking in the plaza

Yelp
Always a fun hangout spot with friends, Meet Fresh serves trendy yet authentic versions of classic Taiwanese desserts! Located in the Lake Hills area next to some other restaurants, Meet Fresh offers ample parking, seating, and overall chill vibes. You take your order via a kiosk or going to the front, and their menu has so many different options for desserts! Normally this place is pretty full so I was surprised that my friend and I were the only people dining in at the time. My friend and I split the double taro signature and we both loved it! For the price, it had a good amount of grass jelly and taro balls, I just wish it had more of the actual taro paste for us to eat! The dessert wasn't too sweet, and the shaved ice made it so refreshing. Definitely a good place for people to check out if they're looking for a place to hang with friends!

Yelp
- not bad but pricy - It's been a while since we've somehow become a regular here. We no longer order shaved ice since we could never finish them without feeling sick in the end, but hubby usually gets drinks here and I like their hot grass jelly. Their stuff is definitely on the pricy end, but what else are you gonna get after eating those spicy malatang in the same plaza? I usually order their hot grass jelly #5 for the rice ball (white small balls), but I finally ordered a customized hot grass jelly and learned the differences between balls : 1. Taro ball: large ball with taro paste inside, you get maybe 4-5 in your hot grass jelly 2. Sweet potato taro ball: medium ball made from yam powder, has a distinct taste that's more obvious than taro balls. 3. Small taro ball: basically a smaller version of 1 without the taro paste inside. 4. Rice ball: small white balls, slightly softer than taro balls. My preference: 4321 (descending). Btw, the taro balls in Taiwan is usually 3 without anything in there. Like the ones you get from other drink places like happy lemon.

Yelp
This is my favorite Meet Fresh location for dessert, especially after enjoying some of the local hotpot places around Bellevue! Parking is super easy and they have a good amount of table seating. It's self-order which can take a while if there's a line, but the items come out fairly quickly. The large bingsoo (shaved ice) is fun to share if you have 3-4 people. It's the first time I've seen brown sugar boba on shaved ice and I loved the combo. Their drinks and jelly desserts are also super yummy. It's a little pricey here in my opinion but worth it :)
google avatar

Megan S.

Yelp
I've been coming here since this place opened and I can definitely say it never disappoints. I'm a HUGE fan of grass jelly and this place hits the spot! I love how soft and bouncy it is and the half & half adds a perfect milky-ness to it. I only ordered the grass jelly this time but I've also tried their shaved ice which is very popular and also very delicious. Although it was pretty crowded when we went, we got our order relatively quickly (around 15 min). I definitely recommend this place as a nice way to spend time with family/friends and share a sweet treat together!
google avatar

Luke B.

Yelp
Fast service even though there are long queues, it goes by fast. Very yummy and authentic Chinese dessert comparable to China and Hawaii in my experience. Mochi balls, and all toppings taste very fresh and not so sweet. Also had the winter melon lemon tea with half sweetness and I think it was a top tier drink with a strong wintermelon and not overpowering lemon. Open late ish and have lysol wipes to clean any sticky dessert mess. Diverse patrons from families to older folk and young adults, vibes are always good and lively. Also bathrooms were clean and plenty of parking.
google avatar

Jiayang L.

Yelp
We stopped by after dinner for desert, got the caramel pudding cup because pudding sounded nice and the picture on the menu looked tasty. The idea of it was better than it tastes, and the ice cream tasted salty, it was very meh.
google avatar

Gary K.

Yelp
One of our favorite places for a take out dessert. We usually have one of the grass jelly or tofu variants. The grass jelly winter melon tea is cooling on a hot day like today. Ordering is easy using the two tablets provided or scan the QR code just in the door. Service is quick and efficient, but when it is busy, they get seriously backed up and that results in a long wait. We always take out as the seating is awkward with small hard seats. Background music is a bit loud, but that doesn't deter all the young people gathering. So, if you don't mind that, eating in seems to be popular.
google avatar

Julia Z.

Yelp
This is a chain, so I'm more ranking it compared to the others I've been to rather than entirely standalone. The quality of the treats here is as good as other meet fresh places, although the items I've ordered (grass jelly, drinks, and red bean soups) were sometimes a bit messy and required wiping down upon pickup. Similarly, tables (with awkward seating and small chairs) were somewhat sticky. The lack of formal line for the ordering systems (not next to each other but one against the window and one at the counter) made it confusing for patrons to order. I've also seen more than one person forget to get their number and then have no idea when to get their food. That said, food was good quality, tasty, and a decent place to hang out. They have plenty of parking and bathrooms available so it's nice to be there with friends.
google avatar

Andrew T.

Yelp
Cute little meet fresh in this plaza. Plenty of parking and a few other restaurants so this is the perfect place for an after dinner dessert. Huge menu and fair prices but the service was a bit slow on the day we came and the tables could have used a bit of cleaning.
google avatar

Julia S.

Yelp
I am a big fan of 빙수and shaved ice in general, so I was really excited to try Meet Fresh's 礤冰. My friend and I shared the red bean matcha shaved iced and we customized it to have a few extra toppings (~$20). We thought we were going to be able to finish it together, but we ended up discarding like a third of it because we got sick of it by the end. Topping wise, I'd get red bean and mochi again, would skip on the grass jelly, flan/caramel pudding, and Mini Taro Balls. While there was a lot of seating, it wasn't particularly clean (or always open). Folks tended to stay / hang out for a while, so you should plan to grab seating as soon as you can.
google avatar

Charlie T.

Yelp
This place is still one of my go-to spots for desserts. The place has a wide range of options to choose from. We ordered a shaved ice and a Tofu soup dish this time around. The service is pretty quick, and the interior is pretty spacious.
google avatar

Amanda S.

Yelp
Went to Meet Fresh with my family and ordered a Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice with pudding and taro paste (~$20). It was really delicious! The ice cream added a nice creaminess, and it was a lot of fun trying each different component. Kind of reminded me of a halo halo with more mochi elements. For 5 people, using the small bowls provided by the restaurant, we were able to each have around 2 small bowls/1 large bowl. The main downside was that the restaurant was a little disheveled. There were a bunch of cardboard boxes and other things next to the seating near the front door and right outside the door which led to outdoor seating. The tables were also really messy. I guess they left sanitizing wipes for customers to serve themselves and clean their own tables? Not sure. Also it would be more convenient if the outside door leading to the outdoor seating was left unlocked, so customers can go in and out more easily than having to walk all the way around to the front door. Overall the shaved was great!!! Just not the best ambience.
google avatar

Bo K.

Yelp
I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews because I've been to many Meet Fresh locations and I love this one. It's in a great plaza that's expanded a lot in recent years, super convenient for anyone in the Bel-Red area to get to with plenty of parking and dining options. They always get my order correct and the seating area is clean. There's a standard quality with their desserts so never a surprise what you will get. Our favorites are their shaved ice on a warm day - they're big so easily shareable, and anything with taro balls, sweet potato taro balls, or the new ube balls. Everyone seems to like something different and there are so many choices and combinations to choose, I'm sure you will find something you like. None of the desserts are too sweet but I like to reduce sweetness in my drinks. There is no longer a Meet Fresh near where I live so I cherish getting to go to this one occasionally.
google avatar

Yelp
Meet Fresh? You mean meet fast and frozen nothing fresh about the food. Crazy how they charge so much for simple desert that takes them less than 3 mins to bring our order out. The almond pudding soup is watered down. The mochi has no taste. The company has went to cheaper material. The Q mochi is trash don't buy that. Weird crap floating in our almond soup. We need a real desert place like the ones in BC.
google avatar

Lin L.

Yelp
Rude service, we gave tips, but server was very rude yelling at customer, and say bad language while customer in store.
google avatar

Thomas V.

Yelp
The food was tasty and authentic. They forgot a topping in the soup. I rated 4 stars because there were a lot of dirty tables and we had to clean one up ourselves. The staff didn't take the time to clean and were standing around instead. Their trash can is a bit hidden too which might be a reason why the place is messier.
google avatar

Yelp
there is not a hot summer day that i don't think of meet fresh and their strawberry shaved ice. one of the best, most indulgent deserts i've had.

Yelp
What happened? I grew up in Taiwan with a Meet Fresh right down the street from my childhood home. Love the brand, love its U.S.-version menu, never had a problem. We visited on Tuesday 12/5 around 8pm, two hours before closing. The staff were standing in the back -- no bother, they use kiosk orders now. I had a question about the menu and one of the ladies came swiftly to answer. Our to-go order came very quickly at the counter while my boyfriend realized that he forgot to select "Yes" for the bag option. We had two items plus a drink that was hard to carry all together, so we kindly asked for a plastic bag for a charge. A blank stare from the staff as though she didn't understand us. We spoke both Chinese and English. My boyfriend that he was happy to pay for a plastic bag since that seems to be the standard now, but the staff member simply ignored the request and refused to ring us up for a bag. Weird. The second problem from this visit was the food quality. Our grass jelly was missing a creamer single, which I thought came standard with the order. I am not too hung up on that but my boyfriend was pretty upset as anyone would be if their food item was missing an ingredient. On the other hand, the taro balls were hard and difficult to chew, almost plastic-y. The brand is known for this exact product, which makes it unacceptable to be an end-of-the-night bad batch issue. I will still return because no other dessert chains parallel Meet Fresh for me, but I sure am hoping for some improvements in both staff management and quality consistency.

Chittaphat M.

Yelp
I feel like they used very good quality of ingredients, texture is very nice and delicious,

Yelp
Overpriced food; slow service. The price of the desserts here has become out of control. I have observed the price hike in just a few years. The price hike was more than the inflation rate. I ordered online in advance, with the promise of being ready in 15 minutes. Turned out that my order wasn't ready until over 10 minutes later than the promised time. That defeated the purpose of online ordering in advance and caused unnecessary waste of time.

Amy C.

Yelp
Good: decent Asian selection of dessert options. However, I do find their drinks too sweet and the bubble waffle too soft/soggy. Bad: one time we got there maybe 15 minutes before closing and they refuse to let people in to order take out. It's not because of some emergency or they ran out of things to serve. It was simply they wanted to be done for the night. But if that is the case then they should have set their closing time earlier. If it's not the advertised closing time when customer gets to your business but you refuse to serve them just because you want to go home earlier, it's false advertisement and misleading and simply rude.
google avatar

Cindy F.

Yelp
TL;DR: Nice post-meal or snack time dessert joint. Asian-level sweetness -- don't expect super sweet items. Parking: small private lot. Atmosphere: spacious dine-in area and the place generously has canisters of Clorox wipes for you to sanitize where you choose to seat yourself. Menu: Laminated and double sided physical menu with short descriptions on the side table next to the door. Menu is also on the Kiosk but it is photos only and no descriptions. Service: order at pay at the counter or a kiosk, your order number will be announce, pick up at the counter. There are paper bowls and utensils at the counter to share. Tofu Pudding with Rice Balls: satisfyingly and lightly sweetened soup with silky smooth tofu. The rice balls are delightfully chewy. I do wish there was an option to add ginger syrup or a stronger ginger flavor in here though. I really like this one served warm especially on cool evenings! Shaved Ice: I didn't order it (yet) but it is definitely something you should share because it's a really generous size!

Yelp
Lots of potential here, needs better execution. Positives: nice space, drinks and Taiwanese desserts should be tasty. Negatives: oddities and poor execution - You can order on 2 in-store tablets or on your phone but on my visit the prices on the store tablets were in some cases much higher than on the website. For example the red bean milk shaved ice is $12 on the website, and was around $16 in store! They also seem to get a lot of orders wrong. My drink had ice but was not supposed to. My friend's drink was missing boba. The door to the outside seating area out back was locked from the outside, so if you wanted to come back inside to go to the restroom or something you had to go back to the front door. The boba was too soft and overcooked. Lots of easy fixes here I hope they'll address.

Wang L.

Yelp
Now several types of desserts has buy one get one free on uber eats so it is worth it to get 2 bowls for 14 The soup is sweet and taro balls chewy Love it

Yelp
Ordering here is such a chore, especially using their app. Time and time again our ordered gets charged but then is promptly cancelled. Eventually it'll get refunded, but not until days later. It's been months since we placed an order and attempted to try the app once again and the exact issue happened yet again. It's frustrating to say the least. Ordering on the website poses similar problems as well. We've also had issues with our order not showing up on their system despite us having a confirmation number and the payment was charged. Either improve your online/app order systems or remove them entirely. It's been on ongoing problem for well over a year. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth and we just end up going elsewhere when we do not want to waste time playing around with their ordering systems or wait in a long line to order.

Yelp
Review in COVID times: This is a small place in Lake Hills (close to Lake Hills library) I'd say it's quite popular in this area and I get it, their boba tea tastes pretty good. Due to COVID you can't seat inside anymore, take out only. They've a regular cashier OR you can use their "digital front desk" by using their tablets and place your order friendly and quickly. Masks are mandatory, they do have sanitizer gel. My favorite choice in a cold day is the Hot Almond Drink with Boba

Yelp
I have not been in for approximately 10 months because I moved away from Bellevue. I used to come frequently when I discovered how wonderful and easy to digest the food is here. Today I was pleased to see the familiar staff and she is competent and friendly. I needed help the first few times ordering is completed on a tablet near the entrance. They understand food restrictions and are multilingual so when I wrote my allergies in she found some different choices for me. It's a great place for vegetarians and there are also many vegan options. Macro proteins and cool items like waffles. I think it might be acquired, but I love the taro, red beans, and assorted jellies made from a wide range of plants. Lactose intolerant friendly. Under construction today with a note regarding no bathroom. Great for orders ahead and they have a lot of different options for delivery companies.
