"During the summer, there are days when only a mountain of shaved ice the size of a toddler will do. On those days, head to Meet Fresh. This chain with multiple locations is known for its Taiwanese desserts involving ice jelly, purple rice, and tofu pudding—but they also make great boba tea. Meet Fresh has a ton of seating, making this a solid choice for group hangs when you A) don’t want to drink alcohol and B) don’t want to spend a ton of money." - Carina Finn

Google
So many mixed reviews! Came around 4:45 PM and was expecting the worst after reading so many reviews about bad service—but my experience was neutral. It was pretty empty, and I was able to order quickly from the tablet with no issues. The girl working the counter was kind and quick. I got the green tea float with less ice (since there’s already ice cream inside). Smooth, not overly sweet, and just what I wanted.

Google
Driving shaved ice desserts and drinks. Nice space but could not find all menu items on POS machine. Had to order twice. Even though I specified dine in, they gave it all to go.

Google
Taiwanese dessert joint. We landed here by mistake. I was craving cold stone ice cream, but there wasn't anywhere to sit, so we ended up here; it was a beautiful encounter. We ordered Q mochi milk shaved ice cream. They also provide you with individual cups and spoons because this ice cream is shareable. They are newly opened, and the ambience is pleasant. You can also check out their menu online.

Google
Terrible dessert and customer service EVER! This is the second time that something I ordered was MISSING ! The first time I ordered a lot, including drinks, ice taro balls and mochi platter and extra pudding. When I found out that the pudding was missing, I called the store two times but no one answered. Then I tried to find other contact information on the website but as expected, nothing! This time I thought of giving them another chance. When I entered the store, the loud music was blaring. I didn't even know if I entered a dessert store or a club? Then as expected, they forgot the extra toppings I paid for AGAIN, and the red beans were not cooked enough. As a well-known local dessert store in Taiwan, I think you guys should do a better job of management (quality of your dessert and staff). Such a simple and classic dessert option should not be done so badly like this. The whole store is obviously lacking in management!

Google
We’ve been coming to this location for three years and I must say, the quality of service and dessert has really declined over time. Today is probably one of the worst quality dessert we’ve gotten. The place was not that busy at all, yet our order was wrong (we were given the wrong type of tea, and one of the teas had a missing topping), and on top of that, the boba was so undercooked that it was impossible to chew and we had to throw them away. Wish management will see this and do something about their incompetent staff, and the lack of training and supervision.

Ramiro

Google
First time here and definitely my last. Front staff are all kids with no professionalism nor work ethic. The place was loud with staff yelling over the blaring music, and teenagers walking in and out behind the counter as if it were their kitchen. The tables were a mess and staff did not seem to care for keeping a clean space. $13 for ice and syrup not worth it.

Google
This Meet Fresh is truly so stingy, I had to pay almost $11 for a small bowl. Also, I ordered through self checkout to chose dine in, but received it in a to go box. I realized that none of the dishes were washed, which was why. Regardless, the portion size was utterly disappointing. Also, the ice that came with the icy taro ball combo was not like shaved ice (which is what it should be). Overall, it was MID-AF. The employees also do not tie their hair up, which is a requirement for anyone with a food handler’s certificate. Either way, if you want to go to a good MeetFresh, go to Irvine!

Google
Not so busy at this location compare to the one in Hacienda Heights. We ordered Milk Tea with Red bean / Boba and a Black Sugar Fresh milk with Boba, and Finally a Double Chocolate Chips Waffle. Waited just a little over 5 min, our number was called. Taste and flavor as expected, not too sweet and you could taste the freshness. One thing though, the Black sugar Freshmilk came out warm for a cold drink and all ice melted.

Yelp
Meet Fresh in Chino Hills is hands down one of my favorite spots for Taiwanese desserts! Everything tastes super fresh, and the flavors are on point--just the right amount of sweetness without being overpowering. The textures are what really make it though--chewy, creamy, smooth, all mixed together in the best way possible. The place is clean, the vibe is nice, and it's a solid spot to chill with friends or family. Whether you want something warm and cozy or cold and refreshing, you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. 100% worth checking out! The service is also amazing! The workers are super chill and treat us like we are kings and queens. Never met better people!

Micah N.

Yelp
Server Tim was super helpful ordering from the menu, the taro shaved ice was amazing!

Kate C.

Yelp
AMAZING SERVICE. workers were so nice and fast and cool. the food was delicious and divine. the music taste was wonderful and created such a warming atmosphere. 100/10 would recommend n come again

Yelp
This Meet Fresh location seems much less busy than the Temple City location I used to frequent. The service was not super fast, but not super slow, when I ordered. For it not being too busy, it was slower than expected haha. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos on my last visit... If you're a first time visitor, I would HIGHLY suggest the signature icy grass jelly! It's my go-to item and perfect for a light dessert. They have the hot tofu dessert (with sweet syrup) that my sister loves. It's not super popular, but they do have it sometimes at dim sum. I really love that Meet Fresh has very authentic Asian desserts. It's a great place to take family who are visiting! The location is also very spacious, so it's a nice spot to hang out with friends. Parking has always been easy to find. I love that there's a boiling point in the same plaza too!

Pete T.

Yelp
Ordered the hot red bean soup. Very disappointed as it is watery, not hot and not enough red beans. I usually go to the one in Rowland Heights and that location is more consistent.

Tanty V.

Yelp
We were excited to try the shaved ice at this location! While it was tasty, we're still on the hunt for a shaved ice with that super smooth, almost creamy texture like the kind we used to love at Class 302 (we miss that place!). This shaved ice was more like a Kona Ice consistency, which is good, just not quite what we were hoping for. The almond pudding and mochi were a delicious addition though! We'd definitely come back to try some of their other drinks sometime, but probably not the shaved ice again.

Laurent L.

Yelp
We love Meet Fresh. High quality dessert that is often somewhat healthier than the every day options. I'm not a fan of their milk tea, but I love their sweet "soups" and shaved ice. I also love their many toppings options.

Vera L.

Yelp
I typically order to go or get delivery but this time I dined in and it's 3x larger than what I'm used to! It's huuuge ! We ordered the shaved ice with pudding, boba, mini q balls, mochi and it was a great dessert post dinner. I also ordered a grass jelly milk tea which I enjoyed since they didn't add too much milk/creamer.. just like how I like it. The shaved ice was pretty big, we were able to take it to go in a container. They also gave us an extra brown sugar to go. Warning- may cause brain freezes... but Yum!

Ruth G.

Yelp
Very bad service and bad food Ordered an double taro signature. It didn't come with the taro ball. The taro is not even cooked

Ivon D.

Yelp
Always nice to have shaved ice! - according to my husband. Delicious clear mochi with redbean filling was my favorite among the other toppings. We opt for 50% sweet but I think we're just fooling ourselves.. we'll do 2/3 or 100% next time :) Service was quite fast, cute ambiance to share with friends / families. The large size was huge, we couldn't finish it

Daniel A.

Yelp
But think about your sweet tooth I do I've had it since I was a boy... When you have to wait 3 hours you find things to do or try in this case. I've been wanting to try this place and luckily it was right next door while our tire was being fixed. Service was great! We bought a chocolate eggwaffle deluxe ice cream for the kids (no really). They didn't have any more waffle straws but gave us pudding, so good I had to order more (for the kids). The waffle was nice and soft and the ice cream just hit the spot for the kids. Lot of seating on the inside or you can sit by a fountain outside. You can order on a touch screen or in person (me since I never know what to order). We didn't wait long for our order and everyone loved it! Can't wait to try more off the menu next time. Like the shaved ice but my wife talked me out of it this time around. Have you got a sweet tooth? God Bless.

Yelp
Store won't let me use their gift card that they sold me, said the system is off, it a total scam. Also they have no SPOON, what kind of desert store offer no spoon? Lol

Joseph M.

Yelp
Drove out of our way to get meet Fresh. It was 10:29 PM on Saturday night. The worker told us "uh actually, we just did last call" The paper outside says last call is 10:45. Not going to this location again. They obviously don't want our business.

Michelle L.

Yelp
This location is an absolute disaster. I visited on a Friday night, only to find four high school or college kids running the place, clearly more interested in goofing off than actually working. The chaos started when I tried to use the kiosk to order the new Crystal Mochi Shaved Ice, only to find it wasn't even listed on the system. When I approached the counter to place my order, the staff member informed me they were out of all the jellies, and suggested I substitute with items like red bean, condensed milk, or boba--far from an equal trade for a premium topping. When I pointed out that their suggestion didn't make sense, she finally said I could choose whatever I wanted. But even then, what I received didn't match the photo on the poster outside. The mess didn't stop there. It was 9:30 PM, not a single table was clean, and we had to ask someone to clean one for us. As we waited, the music grew louder and louder, and the two guys and two girls on staff just hung around chatting and scrolling on their phones, still wearing their gloves. They'd then go back to serving customers without a thought to hygiene. It's beyond me how they were out of so many ingredients, which make up half the menu. To top it all off, we weren't even given bowls for our shaved ice. This location is a joke and desperately needs corporate to step in and reevaluate their operations. Avoid at all costs.

Summer C.

Yelp
My family used to love meet fresh a lot. Sadly I won't pay for this little portion size for $12 anymore. We ordered hot grass jelly soup with 3 item including boba, taro balls and potato balls. When I start to eat, the soup is cold and it was not a jelly look at all. It looks like they add a lot of water in it. Also, look at the boba portion size, it's not even a scoop. Taro balls should have 10 pcs and I got 7pcs. Potato balls I only got 4 pcs.... What happened to this store? I definitely won't come back again for this mini portion size and the price!

Leilani M.

Yelp
A friend introduced me to this popular place. So many choices and flavor combinations. Being my first time it took a bit to decide on what to order. The medium size is huge! So just bring someone with you to help conquer these mounds. We chose the black sugar boba with red bean, Carmel pudding (like a custard flan disc), condensed milk, milk tea sauce, shaved ice and a scoop of ice cream on the top. We couldn't finish it. The medium was so big. Friendly greeting and clean bright interior. There's a neat feel to this location. In the crossroads marketplace alongside the 71 freeway and Payton Dr exit next to Thaitwist. The entrance has a brief history of sister and brother Fu, creators of meet fresh with cute mini statues. Digital menus on the wall, there's also paper menus at the counter. Tables for small or larger groups, sectioned off tables in the center with a semi private garden wall area in the back. A conveniently accessible hand washing station is near the back with to go containers nearby.

Connie W.

Yelp
Always mess up the order. Always missing ingredients. If the owner still don't see a problem with this location, good luck.

Cho C.

Yelp
I usually go to the Hacienda Heights location, but they close at 10pm (stop inside dining at 9:30 and they give it to you take out). If you've had this type of dessert place before, then you know you should eat the slushy ice treats dine in. They give a much larger portion and the ice can melt quickly if you have to take it out. But this location opened until 11pm, decided to try it out. Some key differences here : 1) staff here was more friendly. They appear to be younger, but energy level was much better. That's a plus. 2) was finally able to get the egg waffle dessert. They stop offering this about an hour before they close at the other location, so we rarely able to order it. But here, finally got the option, and it was really good. 3) grass jelly dessert here is great. My absolute favorite Taiwanese dessert for the summertime. If you have not had this before, this is something you will like or you won't like. But the texture is perfection. It's not like the ones you make yourself from the can. It's smoother, silky, like the silkiest tofu. Plenty of seating available, located in a pretty neat shopping center. Has other food options, so this would be good for an after meal treat.

Anna T.

Yelp
The icy grass jelly was refreshing. The shaved ice had so many toppings! Delicious. Best way to end the night! Staff was friendly.

Monique L.

Yelp
My favorite place to get wintermelon tea! The Meetfresh Signature is also my favorite dessert :) great service!

Louis L.

Yelp
A normal Taiwanese dessert place. Their automated kiosks are broken and the place is usually quiet. Not crowded.

Elsa A.

Yelp
Nice food and good vibe to stay with friends! The signature is so nice! If you visit here and must try it

Emily L.

Yelp
Workers here are terrible. Visited the store, both girls had on an upset face expression. Even worse was there were chairs everywhere, the store was a mess. they were even SITTING DOWN on their phones scrolling. I work in food service too and this is insane. Constantly touching hair and touching phones while making food...I get that they're teens but the manager definitely needs to step in. We have been here countless times and since 2023, their service has stepped down A LOT. The portions used to look full like the images. Now it's soup with one spoonful of topping. I don't mean one spoonful of each topping. I mean ONE altogether. And for the pricing, this is crazy. I'll be going to a different location or making it from home from now on.

Minh T.

Yelp
We used to love Meet fresh, now never come again. The red bean soup, hot grass jelly were watery, and the boba were very hard. Very disappointed!!

Sammy L.

Yelp
We love TAIWANESE Shaved Ice!! It's in my DNA. Their self ordering touchscreen KIOSK is trash. It's too slow and too confusing for age group over 40s. Who programmed it?? Just keep it easy and simple. They are always short staffed for BUSY hours. They need new management team or managers. I totally understand and feel for these high school/college student employees. They love music, being young and acting cool not very helpful to older customers. LOL Fire the manager not doing a good job training these kids. We will continue to support this Taiwanese joint or Shaved Ice spot until new one pops up! GO GET SOME!!

Evan C.

Yelp
OMG I just got out of swim practice and I was absolutely craving some milk tea. And that's when I stumbled upon this godsend of a boba store: MeetFresh. If only words could describe the oodles of happiness their drinks instilled in me. So delicious, so sweet, so milky... and the service *chefs kiss*, the workers here were absolutely wonderful, offering suggestions and giving off an aura of confidence and helpfulness. One of the workers, Marian Lin, absolutely deserves a raise! And the ambiance, spot on! GO HERE NOW!!!!

Victor V.

Yelp
Great food and great service!!! The ambiance is was amazing too!! Tried the taro signature and it was fantastic! Dillion and ciyuan were great servers as well!

Melinda L.

Yelp
3.75 stars overall, but not quite a 4 rating. Read on: If this is your first experience at a Meet Fresh and you weren't too impressed, it's probably just this location. Other Meet Fresh locations are usually pretty vibing, and a lot of that experience comes from the staff and of course the drinks and desserts. But man, the lack of enthusiasm with the staff here really kills the experience. And that's a real shame because Meet Fresh is a pretty good drinks chain. The drink themselves are gonna taste like what you'll order, but don't expect any smile or much acknowledgement from their staff. My last visit here, were two young ladies, who seemed more interested chatting about other things in front of customers when they're ready to order. And when you actually get their attention, it comes off as not very acknowleding. And for some reason, the prices here seem much higher than other Meet Fresh locations. I got their larger sized taro drink with boba and that drink came to $8 and some change. The drink was good, but again, just seemed pricey. Parking here is not an issue, as it's a part of a shared plaza. There are other food places nearby, so there may be times parking could be a challenge.

Nana L.

Yelp
The quality has deteriorated so Much. The shaved ice tasted like broken ice with condensed milk and top with ice cream . We used to love this place a lot ....sorry I will not come back.

Chelsea C.

Yelp
Its like everything you want out of Taiwanese dessert. There is a heavy emphasis on variety, so you can customize your dessert to your specifications. Its not common that you have access to this many things all at once so its a good treat. I'm sure staff can explain what each ingredient is but be adventurous and combine different flavors and textures to make the most out of it. Taro paste is good, mochi is fresh, egg pudding is the correct texture, and the milk used here is high quality. It's also cutely decorated.

Emily K.

Yelp
The food came out quickly and was very FRESH!! I met fresh. The staff was very kind and was very helpful. Overall great experience

Zin N.

Yelp
Nice environment and good desert. I am going to gain a lot of calories haha . Service was quick

Naomi C.

Yelp
My fav dessert spot! Go to when I'm craving a sweet treat are icy grass jelly and milk tea with taro. Fast and kind service, good location next to lots of restaurants. Inside is clean and spacious too

Megan C.

Yelp
Awesome service! This place is hands down one of the best boba shops I've ever been to! The drinks are always perfectly balanced--not too sweet, not too bland--just right. Their boba is fresh, chewy, and never hard or mushy. I tried their Milk Tea, and it was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot to hang out or grab a quick treat. Plus, the staff is super friendly and helpful, always willing to make recommendations. I also love that they have a wide variety of drinks, from classic milk teas to creative seasonal flavors. If you're a boba lover, this is a must-visit spot! Can't wait to come back and try more flavors. Highly recommend!

Drive In S.

Yelp
Wow ! What a choice of music OMG the cursing none stop Di3k slaps and F bombs and there nothing but kids I mean little kids in here and old folks with grandkids. Is this a strip club or ice cream place? I'm confused! Ice cream was good but rest come with ear plugs

Chris K.

Yelp
The only reason I come to this store is because my wife likes it. Every time I come here, I just want to grab what I need and leave as quickly as possible. Whenever I'm here, there are high school kids who don't give a shit playing on their phones. They are so indifferent when they talk back to customers, I really wonder why they're even here. As for the food, I think it's extremely overpriced. An order of tofu pudding costs nearly $10, and considering the cost of ingredients (like soybeans), the price is outrageous. You'd never imagine how low the cost of this stuff is. The taste is nothing special either. The tofu pudding tastes just like what you'd get at an ordinary Chinese breakfast place, and the other toppings, like rice balls and boba, are the same. I really don't get what justifies the high price. In conclusion, this is a baffling store. The dining environment is mediocre, the staff are lazy and inattentive, and the food is both overpriced and average. I wouldn't come here if I didn't have to.

Lucy Y.

Yelp
I ordered the q mochi and the hot grass jelly combo c. It was all sooo good. The interior had lot of seating and was clean. The workers were nice and friendly. We needed napkins multiple times and it was very easily accessible and trash cans were also everywhere. Loved my experience here.

Derek H.

Yelp
Ordered combo b and this is what I got, no taro and yam mini balls , and the taro was cut in slices and they are raw ... terrible store!

Victor C.

Yelp
Picked up red bean soup#B & boba milk tea on Wed night and got watery soup with almost no toppings inside. No taro no taro ball, instead they added super mini Q (around 5 pieces) which was typically for drink. Boba was not well cooked and too hard to chew. This got to be the worst dessert I have ever had in CA. Please treat your customers fairly if you want to stay in business.

Marlon U.

Yelp
Only read this if you want a quick laugh!!! Went in at 10:40 PM, they close at 11:00 PM. The kid working the shift says, "We're closed." I say, "Oh, but I thought you guys close at 11 PM." He says, "Well, last call is at 10:45." I say, "But it's 10:40..." Then he says, "Oh, well we have no more toppings." I say, "Well, I just want grass jelly." He says, "Oh, you just want grass jelly?" I say, "Yes, just grass jelly." He says, "Well, our cook left at 11... or I mean, he left at 10." Then I say, "So I'm confused... your cook left at 10 or you just don't want to work?" It's honestly so sad how the new generation of workers just can't seem to muster the energy to, I don't know, do their job? If you're closing in 20 minutes and don't want to work... just say so, don't make up excuses like you're auditioning for a role in a sitcom.

Emily L.

Yelp
I feel like I'm on a Meet Fresh tour because I've been to many locations The Chino Hills location seems like they're always out of items. There were multiple times I went and they're out of creamer. They are nice enough to give me something else as replacement. My go-to is Icy Grass Jelly #C with mini taro balls

April M.

Yelp
Thanks for the awful service and uncooked taro strips instead of taro paste! Idk what to say other than that.

Shirley C.

Yelp
Saw this place many times but first time visiting. Fast service. This place is spacious that can fit a lot of customers. I like the different kinds of sitting area. Mango Passion fruit drink actually has passion fruit seeds in the drink, which you don't frequently see that. Drink is kinda tart in a good way, instead of just sweet like every other places. Boba milk tea is tasty and boba is cooked just right and still warm.

Carmen L.

Yelp
Came here for desserts after dinner. A lot of things on the menu but a lot of items were out. No egg waffles, and shaved ice only has limited options no mango or strawberries... Their Taiwanese desserts are decent and the passion fruit sorbet is good...and I also like they have a help yourself station to get extra spoons and napkins without asking for help.

Kenneth L.

Yelp
I've been to a bunch of different Meet Fresh locations and this one multiple times-- It's always consistently good! This time around I ordered the passion fruit sorbet, and it looks and tastes great, if a little smaller than I expected. Their usual items (tofu pudding, grass jelly, etc.) are probably better value in that regard. Toppings here are nicely made, and I've never had a bad experience. Tofu pudding comes out in a smooth, unbroken sheet, and the mocha is a well cooked, so they're soft and chewy. I like the red bean here a lot, too, since it's not too mushy.

Maya N.

Yelp
Love having a MeetFresh in the area! It's the perfect post-dinner stop when you want something sweet but not too heavy. The taro QT cup is my favorite if I'm by myself, but if you have a friend or two with you, you can't go wrong with sharing a shaved ice. The cold tofu pudding is great as well. Love that you can customize your order's sweetness level. This location is clean and usually not too busy. Service is helpful and prompt, and while the menu runs a little pricey, I'm overall very happy to stop by for a treat every once in a while.

Claire K.

Yelp
Tried their new Hot Coco Sago Signature dessert and loved it! It's like a warm, soupy dessert with lots of sago, taro, and tapioca pearls. Perfect for cold nights. It's also not too sweet so I feel like it's great for those who like subtle sweetness. AND pretty big portions too! I also really like their drinks - I got their strawberry smoothie, winter melon fresh milk, and their newest taro drink (I forget what its called - sorry!). This location is in a large plaza so parking is super easy. They also have plenty of seating inside with even a private back area too so I feel like it could be a great place for studying/working :)

John L.

Yelp
As others have mentioned, this Meat fresh location is a complete letdown. The only reason we continue to visit is because wife loves their desserts, and it's the only option in the area. It's run by a group of high school or college-aged kids who seemed more interested in chatting and goofing off than actually serving customers. Service was nearly nonexistent, with emails employees on their phones or socializing instead of paying attention to orders. Ingredients were running out, which further added to the frustration. It's clear that this location is poorly managed, and unless corporate steps in to improve operations, I can't imagine this place will survive much longer. One positive feedback is the interior that's kept clean during our visit. Wouldn't recommend unless you're really craving Meatfresh and have no other options.

Jean S.

Yelp
Meet Fresh is a franchise that serves boba drinks and Asian shaved ice desserts. This was my first time at Meet Fresh in Chino Hills and it was good except for the drink I picked. I ordered the Wintermelon Milk Tea with fresh milk ($6.00) and customized it with 2/3 sweet and less ice. It was really bland and didn't have much flavor. Maybe I shouldn't have gotten less sweet, but at other boba shops, I've ordered the same drink the same way and it's usually just right. Wintermelon Milk Tea is one of my go-to drinks, but not at Meet Fresh. I also tried the Strawberry Slush ($6.50) and it was really good! It came with melon jelly and was topped with salty cream. I really enjoyed this drink and will definitely order it for myself next time. My aunt ordered the Icy Taro Ball B dessert combo ($8.50) and she really liked it. It came with shaved ice, taro balls, taro, red bean, and boba. Meet Fresh is a good Chinese dessert store. When I went, they were out of mango shaved ice and mango/strawberry shaved ice, which I really wanted to try. Although I didn't enjoy the wintermelon milk tea, I was a fan of their strawberry slush.
