The Best Boba Shops in NYC

"During the summer, there are days when only a mountain of shaved ice the size of a toddler will do. On those days, head to Meet Fresh. This chain with multiple locations is best known for its Taiwanese desserts, like ice jelly, purple rice, and tofu pudding, but also makes great boba tea. Our preferred order is a 10% sugar boba milk tea with lychee jelly and “mini Q” mochi for maximum textural impact. Meet Fresh has a ton of seating, making this a solid choice for group hangs when you A) don’t want to drink alcohol and B) don’t want to spend a ton of money." - molly fitzpatrick, carina finn koeppicus

The 9 Best Shaved Ice Spots In NYC

"It’s hard to beat Meet Fresh’s shaved ice for variety. At the Sunset Park location of this casual boba shop, you can get mountains of shaved ice with simple things like mango, strawberries, and condensed milk, or you can go for their over-the-top Q Mochi Milk option, which comes with four different kinds of chewy toppings and a scoop of ice cream for good measure. We also love their brown sugar boba shaved ice, which is basically a boba drink in dessert form. There’s lots of seating, which is good, because you’ll want to come with a small group to tackle this massive frozen dessert. " - kenny yang, carina finn koeppicus

18 Top Asian Desserts in NYC | Eater NY

"Meet Fresh, the popular Taiwanese dessert chain, offers a combination of generously portioned hot and cold desserts from red bean soup to purple rice. Most desserts on the near-endless menu are built with classic sweet toppings one might find at a Taiwanese street stall, including grass jelly, chewy mochi, red bean, sesame rice balls, and peanuts. The maximalist signature soup series with an overflow of toppings is a great place to start — try the Purple Rice Dessert Signature ($9.15) for the more adventurous. They’re great for sharing, as the portions are generous." - John Tsung

Google
Meet fresh recently changed their menu and now offer Medium and Large sizes for their shaved ice. It's basically a $1 difference between the sizes. My friends and I haven't came in a while and wasn't aware of the change so we thought a medium should be enough. After we ordered, we got an extremely small bowl of shaved ice. I attached a picture of a large round bowl, that was a picture from 2023 and is now the large size that they offer. The other two pictures is what we got today. This small little bowl makes it hard to eat the shaved ice cuz it literally collapsed and we were struggling to make sure it didn't spill. Also because this bowl is deeper, the shaved ice in the bottom have no condensed milk at all, it's just pure ice. I think this change in their menu is practically lying to consumers because the difference between medium and large is crazy even though the price is just $1 different. If they were to make medium this portion, it should be at least $4 cheaper.

Google
This was probably the most spacious and cleanest restaurant/store on 8th ave from my experience. We tried signature icy taro bowl and the hot almond soup. Loved the icy taro bowl and all the toppings on it. The chewiness balanced out the sweetness. However, I don’t recommend the hot almond soup (or anything with almond soup base). It was not good, and tasted nasty to be frank. We couldn’t even finish it. Not sure if the soup base was just almond milk but it tasted really weird.

Google
tried meet fresh at different branches (flushing and bayside), but this one is the most solid place! keep going back. shaved ice is perfect, creamy and sweet. no complaints 👍👍👍 first time ordered mango berry shaved ice with double signature. next visit ordered mango shaved ice, double signature, signature bubble milk tea. everything taste just right, right amount of sweetness. tea flavor is strong we liked this one very much

Google
It's a strange location inside; the partition between the customer and the food preparers make it appear if it's set up either for COVID or for a bad neighborhood that has experienced robberies. But the drinks are excellent, and although it was too cold for shaved ice, it looked authentic - no need to go to Taipei!!!

Google
Stopped by Meet Fresh Brooklyn to try their new QQ Milk Tea soup series and wow what a treat! Each option comes with a deliciously unique milk tea soup base that you customize with a variety of toppings. I sampled the Icy QQMilkT Soup Signature, Combo A, and Combo B. Each one was a delightful mix of flavors and textures. The Signature, with its blend of taro balls, boba, caramel pudding, and potaro balls, was my favorite. I also tried their Egg Waffle, which was perfectly chewy and just the right amount of sweetness. As a fan of Meet Fresh, I must say their Icy Grass Jelly and Hot Red Bean Soup are also must-tries. My go-to toppings like red beans, sesame rice balls, potaro balls, and taro paste add the perfect touch to their desserts. Meet Fresh has nailed the balance between traditional treats and innovative new flavors. Highly recommend for dessert lovers looking for quality and creativity!

Google
nice dessert. a little pricey but taste good. customer service is ok. a bit hard to hear from the cashier the glass petition blocking. ice cream and iced grass jelly with the taro and the taro ball. the place is clean and the environment is happy relaxing comfortable to hang out.

Google
Love the textures and flavors in the shaved ice here! My favorite is the original one with the taro and sweet potato balls, rice cakes, and caramel pudding! The seasonal matcha one is great too but the shaved ice itself is not quite as drenched in matcha as I would have preferred. If you have a smaller party, the gras jelly with shaved ice is also great! Their boba drinks are also worth a try. Their brown sugar milk tea with boba is a fave -- super flavorful milk tea, soft and chewy boba texture! Pudding and Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice - 5/5 Matcha Shaved Ice - 4/5

Google
I recently visited Meet Fresh in Brooklyn, and it was a fantastic experience. Their herbal jelly was superb—perfectly balanced in flavor and texture. The ice grass jelly was refreshingly smooth, while the iced double taro signature was rich and indulgent, featuring a creamy taro base and chunks of taro for added texture. The dessert also included sweetened red beans and a drizzle of condensed milk, enhancing the overall richness. The employees were incredibly helpful, guiding me through customization options and ensuring my order was just right. Their attentiveness and friendly demeanor made the visit even more enjoyable. If you're a fan of these desserts or just looking for a great spot to satisfy your sweet tooth, Meet Fresh is definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
This was my first Meet Fresh experience, and it definitely met and exceeded my expectations. We used the self-serve kiosk at the front for ordering and our desserts were ready in a flash. Funnily enough, my friend (without knowing) ordered a massive, shaved ice that could easily feed a family of 5 - all for herself. While hilarious, I would definitely recommend asking the staff about dish sizes if you have any questions. The shaved ices we ordered were both delicious. The interior was super clean even though it was pretty busy on the weekend. There is also an area for tray drop-offs in the back. Overall, a really nice experience. Would definitely recommend as a casual dessert spot.

Yelp
My go-to Taiwanese dessert spot, there aren't many spots that sell this stuff. The shop has many seatings and with modernized decor. It can be crowded at times, but you can get it to-go as well. You can't really go wrong with any of the top seller items, but my go-to is the cold herbal jelly ice soup with taro balls (complimentary creamer). Sometimes, I get extra taro balls and a scoop of taro paste on the side in case of feeling indulgent and naughty and need a lil extra. The servings are generous and very filling, so be aware of over ordering, can comfortably share one between two. It is refreshing and satisfying to eat.
google avatar

Belle L.

Yelp
If you dine in, the portions are HUGE. which makes sense for the price you're paying. You can definitely order one and it's enough to share with 2 people. Service is quick and fast. Hit/miss with to go orders. Sometimes they skim out on the toppings compared to dine in orders.

Mia Z.

Yelp
I ordered four desserts from the store and waited 25 minutes, which was fine. I was excited to enjoy some warm desserts in this cold weather, but I was extremely disappointed when I got home and opened them. The signature red bean soup barely had any ingredients--just a few pearls and boba, with no taro at all! There should be at least two pieces of taro, but I got none. Can you imagine how empty this soup looked? It was basically just red bean-flavored water, and I paid $10 for it! The other red bean soup was equally disappointing. It was so watered down that it tasted like plain water, with hardly anything in it. I was literally eating water. The hot grass jelly was just okay, nothing special. Unfortunately, this experience was very frustrating, and I won't be coming back due to the inconsistent quality.

Yelp
After dinner in the Sunset park Chinatown needed someplace sweet and Yelped this place and it was not disappointed. The desert is large portion can be shared by several people. Pretty authentic to places in Taiwan and room to sit.

Yelp
This is a cute shop with a good amount of seating that serves dessert such as shaved ice and egg waffles. There is also a huge cute figure you can take pictures with. When you walk in, there is a kiosk where you can order to dine in or have your food to go. We wanted to dine in, so we grabbed a table in the back. The tables are clean, which is definitely a plus. The desserts came out pretty quickly. They are so cute that we took a bunch of pictures before devouring them. They also have a station where you drop off the trays and bowls. I would definitely come back.
google avatar

Yelp
We wanted to try out this place because it was getting hot walking around. We tried the Strawberry Mango shaved ice and it was amazing. It was so hard to finish for two people. Most of the tables were dirty so it was hard to figure out where to sit at first. I'd definitely go again because the service was great and the dessert was great!

Yelp
I was trying to decide between grass jelly or tofu pudding, but luckily I didn't have to. I ordered Icy Grass Jelly with Tofu Pudding. The dessert came with shaved ice and condensed milk. I asked for syrup on the side for the tofu pudding. It was so refreshing and satisfying!

Yelp
Meet Fresh "Taiwan Exquisite Desserts" is a place I've been wanting to go to. Since it was my first time, I went with one of the popular items the "Icy Grass Jelly Signature" They give you a beeper while you wait for your dessert to be prepared. The store has a clean dining area (choose your own table) and a place to drop off your tray when you're done. The grass jelly was delicious, not too sweet, and filling. Everyone was very polite. Afterwards, I checked out the neighborhood - also known as "Brooklyn's Chinatown" - there were street vendors preparing meals along the sidewalk. A few blocks away, there is a highly rated AYCE Chinese Hot Pot "Xiang Hotpot-Brooklyn" One could spend the entire day in this part of Sunset Park, lots to see and explore.

Yelp
My biggest recommendation for this place is their strawberry smoothie ! It comes with lychee jelly but I always get it without. The cheese foam on top is such an amazing compliment to the strawberry smoothie.

Yelp
The warm aroma of freshly made desserts welcomes you. The vibrant yet cozy ambiance sets the stage for a relaxed and enjoyable dessert experience. Now, let's dive into the star of the show - the desserts. From signature herbal jelly bowls to shaved ice delights, each item on the menu is a masterpiece. The flavors are authentic, the ingredients are fresh, and the presentation is Instagram-worthy. I especially love the taro balls. If you're lactose intolerant... they didn't offer any milk alternatives, at least not when I went.

Yelp
I love this place for a dessert! The food is really good and there wasn't a long wait even tho there were tons of people there. The interior is so cute here! Overall I really recommend this place.

Yelp
I had never been to any Meet Fresh location previously before I went to the Brooklyn location on a recommendation from one of my acquaintances. I happened to be in the area for something else and noticed there was a store on the same street but I was not surprised. This area in Brooklyn on 8th Ave is considered one of the three "Chinatowns" in NYC (the other two being Manhattan and Flushing) and you can find a lot of the popular and trending things like certain desserts or bubble teas as well as places to eat that may be unique. At the time that I had visited there were not too many customers. My friend had recommended her favorite item off the menu which sounded good. However I wanted to try something else at that time... BLACK SUGAR BOBA MILKY SHAVED ICE!! There was a small and large version...since it was just me i got the smaller version which was still a significant amount of dessert for one person. You really cannot go wrong with any flavored with black or brown sugar in terms of dessert. There were tapioca balls and a whole piece of pudding! And the ice was topped with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream. I tried to get the best angles for the photo...right before I devoured it. The place itself is pretty spacious if you wanted to dine in (and shaved ice is definitely meant for dining in and sharing). The girls working that day were polite and had recommended I choose the smaller ice as the bigger one was nore suited for groups. They prepared the dessert in a timely manner. If i am ever in that area again, I would certainly go to that specific Meet Fresh location.

Yelp
Was looking a drink/tea spot with seating around the area. Lots of seating for those who would like to grab a drink or dessert and chit chat. Ordered the herbal tea and mango green tea. Haven't had their desserts but would like to come back and try. Service was really quick. You can order on a kiosk which is convenient.
google avatar

Yelp
I got the coco sago (with taro balls, black sugar boba, almond pudding) to try something new (I usually get a custom icy taro ball which I love) and I regretted it. It was basically a thick soup, I honestly expected more solids in it but it was really majority liquid so it was difficult to eat. It also didn't taste that good. For $13 I'm really disappointed.
google avatar

Yelp
A huge fan of meet fresh, especially this location. The location is very spacious and clean. Always able to find seating whenever we visit. The desserts here are next level. Always super fresh and delicious. Our favorite is the icy grass jelly signature. Comes with grass jelly. Taro, sweet potato, brown sugar, and cream. Great dessert that doesn't make me feel too guilty
google avatar

Chin T.

Yelp
This a good place for Taiwanese desserts. You can choose from herbal grass jelly (hot or cold) and/or drinks. The servers were friendly. You can sign up for their loyalty rewards. Remember to check in to get a free drink! Please note that the credit card limit is $15. We ordered one icy grass jelly signature. The portion size was big and it came with a creamer. However, the dessert was sweet without the creamer. The reason for 4/5 was because when we opened the creamer it was chucks instead of liquid. Otherwise, the ambiance was cozy with free wifi in the store and seating areas for you to enjoy your dessert. Remember to return the tray at the back! Will recommend eating here again.
google avatar

Katie A. O.

Yelp
mediocre Taiwanese dessert spot - the portions depending on what you are selecting, can be large or small. the price is normal NYC price, given nowadays boba and desserts have increased significantly due to inflations. the service is kiosk or at the counter with the app that can earn reward points. spacious for large groups.
google avatar

Amanda W.

Yelp
Solid dessert spot I came to realize its really a good satisfaction taro ball place. Lots of option but if you pin down what you enjoy, you'll like it more and crave it.
google avatar

Anna H.

Yelp
I think I found my dessert place that is only a few N train stops away. I only had the taro balls with tofu and it was so yummy. The taro balls are small and chewy which tasted like the sweet rice balls that my grandma makes on Chinese New Year. I like that the taro balls are chewy and not much taste to ruin the sugar taste in the soup. I like that there are enough tables for people to sit. I saw a lot of people ordering take out besides eating in. I went back to get the same dessert the next day. So delicious. I will go back to this place for yummy and fulfilling sweets.

Yelp
Super happy Meet Fresh expanded to Brooklyn. Known for their shaved ice and freshly made mochis, this Taiwanese dessert shop is one of my favorite go-to dessert options. My usual order is their brown sugar boba shaved iced or something with grass jelly. The brown sugar boba shaved ice is filled with creamy milk tea froth with soft boba, red bean, vanilla ice cream and pudding toppings. I love their boba as it's super fresh, soft and chewy. They offer this in both medium or large size. I usually order the medium size, which is enough to share for two. However, recently, I think they're only offering the large size which is $15.75. Prices are steep here for dessert but they're known for their huge portions, especially for the shaved ice desserts. I would not recommend ordering tofu pudding here. It's not authentic and pretty tasteless.
google avatar

Ana M.

Yelp
The shaved ice was veeery very icy and it was just a lump of ice with artificial flavor syrups on top.... which is what shaved ice is actually supposed to be, but I'm not sure how else to describe it a better way. The shaved ice tasted flavorless and mainly like plain ice. In comparison to other shaved ice places, good shaved ice tastes creamy. The shaved ice itself was HUGE and costed around $14-16. While it's very eye pleasing and Instagram-worthy, it felt like I was just eating ice. Maybe their other cold dessert dishes are better. Hoping to give this place another try!
google avatar

Bellody C.

Yelp
They never have strawberry or mango shaved ice. They said their brown sugar shaved ice was gonna take thirty minutes so I ended up not getting it. Instead, I got the taro shaved ice that tasted not very good. It was very potatoey to the point where it didn't taste like dessert- tasted like a chore. I think we had to spend at like $20 to use credit card or something. A lot of their shaved ice items were large size only which is pricey and not great if you're just eating alone. There is bathroom and seating. I still have this place a four because the last time I came, I got the brown sugar shaved ice and it was great. It tasted like tiger sugar in a bowl. The pudding was a great complement. The almond pudding is very flavorful.
google avatar

Yelp
Meet the semi new kid on the block - a Taiwanese dessert shop serving everything from shaved ice to Tong sui (sweet soup) and egg waffles. I've only been here twice and both times I only had eyes for their shaved ice. I shared the "black sugar boba milky shaved ice" with my fiancé the first time. It comes in two sizes: medium and large. We got the medium to go (it did melt a little) and couldn't finish it because we were pretty full from dinner. To no one's surprise, it tastes exactly like it's name - brown (well I guess in this case - black) sugar boba in shaved ice form. The best way to eat it is to mix everything together... it'll end up very liquidy and not that visually appealing, but I swear it tastes amazing like that. The caramel pudding topping was more like a flan but still yum. Today, I went back for more shaved ice and decided to eat at the store this time so it doesn't melt again. The staff did ask for vaccination cards. Unfortunately, the "pudding & q Mochi milk shaved ice" only comes in the large size, but I still ordered that knowing damn well two people won't be able to finish it. Lo and behold, I couldn't finish it with my sister, but it was worth trying because the toppings were different from the boba shaved ice. This one came with both caramel pudding and almond pudding. The latter was soo fragrant - I hope I can recreate it at home! It also had some noodle- looking topping without much flavor so it didn't add much to the dessert but it was still interesting to try. I also liked the melon jellies. Most of the flavor came from the scoop of ice cream though. tip: minimum purchase of $15 to use card!

Angelina W.

Yelp
Super busy, and I completely understand but a bunch of drinks and desserts were sitting on the counter. When we tried to tell the girl that our order had been sitting on the counter (mind you it was 2 drinks and one dessert) for 15min and we had already been there for 20min she said it wasn't ready. We checked our order number and the number on the drinks and it was indeed ours, we finally got them after we said it again. Being busy is no excuse for serving people out of order. Besides that the drinks and dessert were pretty average.

Yelp
02.16.2023 @7:45pm I just pop in and didn't even know what I want. The cashier was patient for my order. Ordered Boba Tofu Pudding & Double Taro Signature...$20 in changes.
google avatar

Michelle W.

Yelp
There'sa bunch of seating within the store from tables with chairs to booths. The shaved ice mountain was huge and soo worth it! But the start of the show was definitely the Jasmine green tea! It was soo refreshing and had a really nice tea flavor that came through and wasn't watery.
google avatar

Sandy D.

Yelp
Meet Fresh finally made its way to Brooklyn! I had been eagerly waiting to go here, and I finally did one weeknight. The store was PACKED, but there was plentiful seating and a bathroom along one side. We ordered the Icy Ball Signature (~$10), which was first on the menu so I assumed it was good. Now I'm realizing there's a DOUBLE Taro Signature, which looks more like the one I wanted to try. No wonder the Icy Ball Signature looked kind of bland. I'm not sure if they give creamers with this dessert but we had to ask. And I highly recommend adding it, as the ice definitely needed some color and taste. I LOVED all the toppings though, especially the Sweet Potato Taro Balls and Taro Balls. Eating these Taiwanese desserts are always so fun because of the toppings. The AC was on BLAST, but otherwise this is a perfect place to chill and eat something refreshing. I'm excited to try more dessert options here!
google avatar

Niu-Niu N.

Yelp
What I love about Meet Fresh is their generous portions, and not overly sweet desserts. You're able to enjoy an entire bowl and still satisfy your sweet tooth. It's the perfect item for a hot summers day! At this specific location, we had a special: taro and ube with the ice grass jelly signature, a pudding and Q mochi shaved ice, and chocolate deluxe egg waffle. How beautiful do they look!
google avatar

Mei Qin Z.

Yelp
Being just a couple of doors down from Yozi Noodles--where my sister and I visit frequently--Meet Fresh has become one of those places where the two of us frequent often, either immediately before or immediately after. Really cute interior, brightly lit with free wifi, and tons of desserts and drinks to choose from. My sister usually sticks to her Matcha Egg Waffle and Orange & Passion Fruit Green Tea, but I like to explore around the menu. So far, we've tried their: - Q Mochi - Matcha Egg Waffle - Matcha Red Bean Egg Waffle - Orange & Passion Fruit Green Tea - Mango & Orange Green Tea - Strawberry Passion Fruit Green Tea - Fresh Milk Jin Xuan Oolong Tea with Boba I wish they had more drinks in their fruit series, but admittedly, I don't think it would make a difference -- the Orange & Passion Fruit Green Tea is still the best. It's light, it's refreshing, and it's so darn good! Give me more!! We haven't tried any of their actual hot and cold desserts, but I look forward to doing so soon!

Yelp
My first time trying this and I was very impressed with the variety of items, cleanliness, prices, and portion size. They offer bubble tea, waffle desserts, and customizeable Taiwanese shaved ice, sago, or dessert soup bowls. The expansive seating area and public restroom make it a great spot for a meet up or to study with an refreshing dessert at your fingertips as motivation. The desserts here seem to be more low-calorie and diet friendly compared to their American counterparts. Most of them are certainly refreshing as well. I ordered the Ube Milk Ice which was a shaved ice bowl with Ube syrup, ube and sweet potato rice balls, mini rice balls, boba, red bean, an a large scoop of Ube paste. There was a very low chance that I wouldn't like this because it had all my favorite things. I loved how it was the perfect amount of sweetness and the rice balls and boba were so soft and chewy. The textures here are a dream and even though it was a big serving, I almost finished it because of how light it felt. This was such a light yet satisfying dessert that I didn't even get a food coma after. I will definitely be back in the future when my sweet tooth calls!

Yelp
Ordered from this place on a whim - I got the double taro signature with condensed milk for about $12 and it was very well worth! Dough and taro balls have just the right amount of bounce. The condensed milk adds a layer of creamy-ness to the mixture with every bite. The ice melts and absorbs all the flavor from above. What a great treat!
google avatar

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place accidentally and I'm glad we did. Ordered 2 at first for myself and 2 kids. As we were fascinated watching the our plate being built, I noticed the size and had to run back to cancel 1 before it was too late. Phew! Their monster sized portions are more than enough for 3 adults, for an affordable price, too! First time always matters, so we chose wisely and decided to go with Taro. Tall mountain of shaved ice drizzled with rich condensed milk, surrounded by sweet melon jelly and large chunks of soft taro, then topped off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Devoured in seconds. Can't wait to come back for more, especially to make up for that canceled order - Q Mochi. Please do yourselves a big favor, bring your crew because sharing is caring.
google avatar

Jody L.

Yelp
Always get the grass jelly with Taro balls. Sometimes I would order Uber eats and get the egg waffle. Heat it up at home and it taste great. Chocolate egg waffle reminds me a little of lava cake. Crispy outside and soft inside. Place is clean for the most part.
google avatar

Sharon L.

Yelp
Had Meet Fresh once years ago & haven't thought much of it until they opened the location in Brooklyn. The shaved ice here is of shocking proportions - in a good way! I was a bit doubtful of its size until we were presented with a mountain of shaved ice. Toppings are plentiful, and the vanilla ice cream is the good kind!! The ice itself is flavored with condensed milk and is definitely one of the better ones I've had. Price wise for dessert - maybe not the cheapest but somewhat reasonable considering the shaved ice alone could feed at least 4.
google avatar

Charmaine C.

Yelp
Ordered many times from this location and they always got my order wrong. I always like to order extra sides and is always either missing or given me a wrong item. This time is even more ridiculous. Order their grass jelly signature with 3 extra sides. I was given a bowl of plain grass jelly with no topping and 2 sides only.
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
One word: DELICIOUS!!!! I was craving something cool and this was just the thing I needed! I got the milk tea boba shaved ice and loved the ice cream at the top as well as the red bean sprinkled around the bottom. It was so good... highly recommend! I got a medium size which was about $11 and the large was $15 which I thought wasn't too bad! There are many items on the menu that look very appealing and hopefully if I am ever in the area again, I can try the other yummy things that Meet Fresh offers.
google avatar

Sze Ting L.

Yelp
We got the chocolate deluxe waffle and the tofu pudding. The chocolate Deluxe waffle was amazing. Theneaffle was freshly made when we ordered and warm paired with the creamy ice cream. The ice cream was drizzled with chocolate sauce and walnuts and pistachios! Altogether, it was a perfect after dinner dessert. The tofu pudding was very underwhelming, I've definetly had better in many places so maybe don't order the plain? They offered a lot of toppings tho I usually don't like taro or sweet potato, but maybe it would add a kick to it.

Yelp
WOOOOW Meet Fresh opened up at Sunset Park. I was so excited to try this place. I went to Meet Fresh at Brooklyn on Friday afternoon. I ordered a Cold Purple Rice Soup Signature. ( Around $10) The Cold Purple Rice Soup Signature included taro paste, sweet potato taro balls, purple rice soup, and rice balls. It also came with one creamer. The Cold Purple Rice Soup Signature has the perfect amount of sweetness. Sweet potato taro balls and rice balls were very chewy. I honestly love the taro paste in the sweet potato taro balls. The service is better and faster than the ones in manhattan. I would come back to try different kinds of desserts.

Yelp
紫米奶霜冰沙 I thought I am getting some kind of rice frappe, but I not sure what is this 不是紫米就算了,还能吃到一根根像头发一样的东西。还有这黑点??什么玩意 7刀钱给自己买了杯?shit?

Yelp
So happy to know that Meet Fresh opened up in Brooklyn. I have visited the Manhattan one before & loved all the Taiwanese dessert. The desserts here are (in my opinion) the closest to what they taste like in Taiwan (not 100% but pretty close). Whenever I miss Taiwan, I go to Meet Fresh to buy a dessert or two. Since traveling is hard at this time, eating things that remind you of places you visited helps. I came here 3 days ago & ordered to go: 1) the cold signature grass jelly, 2) signature hot red bean, 3) cold almond pudding with qq mochi. All 3 were so delicious!! My most favorite was that almond pudding and qq mochi! The almond pudding was just so flavorful and soft & the qq mochi tasted exceptional! The grass jelly was my 2nd fav as it had so many random things in it (taro balls, grass jelly, condensed milk). The red bean was good too but I am not the biggest red bean dessert person. Shop was spacious, fun and super clean. Too bad indoor dining is prohibited and not safe at this time because of the pandemic. Hopefully in the future when things get better, we can all be able to dine in here and in other shops. Ordering was quick an easy & staff was friendly and efficient. They have a large bottle of hand sanitizer to the left of the shop.

Yelp
This place is always our family go to dessert place. The signature dish comes in a gigantic portion which feeds the four of us. We always check in uaing yelp for the free melon drink. Yum. The menu is so big, ranges from hot to cold desserts.

Yelp
I hope they have flavored shaved ice but this is how Taiwanese shaved ice should looks like, plain course ice w all the toppings Loved all the chewy taro ball, the noodles like jelly & taro stuffed ball (except q mochi)! Their icecream were unexpectedly good too.

Yelp
A cute and casual bubble tea and desserts shop. The service is decent and the items from the menu are sweet. A local spot, though the brand is a chain. They have a card minimum. There is a unisex bathroom in the back.

Yelp
A good spot for desert, the dine in is usually packed during summer so you'd have to wait in line to sit The ice cream mountain is huge, i ordered a mango and strawberry with my girlfriend and tastes so good, but we barely finished. I wish the size was smaller.

Yelp
NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN!!! I ordered the desserts at 7:40PM and the ladies gave the items to a group of four people who ordered after me their order FIRST. The group of 4 also ordered a shave ice which took longer than what I order, but they received their orders first. This is not how you manage business in the food industry). What is WORST is that I received the wrong item in my order therefore, I called the shop and the manager (a lady) provided me with attitude. This is not the first time I received the wrong item. I did not confront the issue for the first time and since it is the second time, I was already speechless about the experience.

Yelp
Delicious taiwanese dessert in the area!! The proportions are HUMONGOUS and so worth its price. They currently have new(ish) menu items like the ube signatures. We got a icy taro ball, icy ube ball, taro and ube signature paste and a purple rice #4 to go. They were all super delicious and super filling. It was not too sweet and not too overbearing with many flavors. This is great because my grandparents (who are diabetics) can enjoy desserts once in a while! I recommend downloading their app to earn points and ordering online ahead of time so you don't have to do it in person and wait 20 minutes. Next time I would definitely come back to try the shaved ice and drinks!

Yelp
We stopped by this new dessert place in our neighborhood. I love Taiwanese desserts so I was excited to try this place out, but overall, things were a little underwhelming. I ordered the ice grass jelly signature which came with taro balls, grass jelly, shaved ice, and creamer. It was meh. It was also really expensive! I was surprised that it costed about $10. I would probably not return.

Yelp
A cute nice dessert place to grab some dessert to eat with your friend, the dessert is good and not overly sweet
