Where to Eat in Portland’s Old Town-Chinatown Neighborhood

"This Taiwanese import specializes in soupy desserts — served hot or cold — featuring purple rice, red beans, taro balls, and grass jelly. However, the real crowd pleaser might be the bao bing a.k.a. Taiwanese shaved ice. For an over-the-top treat, try a version which smothers the icy pile with almond pudding, chewy melon jelly, and mochi, crowned with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream." - Krista Garcia

Where to Find Chilly, Snowy Shaved Ice Desserts in Portland

"Meet Fresh, a chain of Taiwanese dessert shops, specializes in taro balls and jellies, served in everything from sweet soups to tofu pudding. However, Meet Fresh also offers several types of Taiwanese shave ice, or bao bing, including flavors like mango milk and strawberry milk. But at a place like Meet Fresh, it’s best to go for something supremely indulgent, like the Pudding and Q Mochi: almond and caramel puddings, mochi, mini taro balls, melon jellies, and ice cream. Go big or go home, right?" - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

Google
My daughter recommended this dessert spot in Portland, and I went in with high expectations based on the beautiful pictures online. However, the experience left a bit to be desired. When we arrived, no one greeted us or offered any guidance on how to order or what menu items to try, which would have been helpful given the large and somewhat overwhelming selection. The atmosphere felt a bit cold, lacking the warm, inviting vibe you’d hope for in a dessert place. As for the desserts, they were okay, but I left wishing that I understood what I was really eating. Overall, it was an average experience.

Google
Clean and bright inside this is a fun little shop that provided us with a unique dining experience. We ordered the mangoberry shaved ice. Note to the wise- the medium is large enough to share. Between three of us the large was a bit too large! It's also $18+ which is a bit pricey for shaved ice, but treat yourself! Only complaint is that it is piled so high it's tricky to eat that delicious(but too small) bit of ice cream on top. We also got the Q mochi set which had caramel and coconut. I personally am not a fan of the texture of mochi but this was no grocery store mochi! It was the first mochi I've ever been totally crazy about. Definitely worth trying out!

Google
Don’t let the reputation of Old town/Chinayown ghetto scare you from coming here. The next closest Meet Fresh probably will be in San Mateo, CA. Friendly and agreed when asked to bring food from across the street Xin Ding Dumpling House. Made a perfect pairing with dumpling and meet fresh dessert

Google
Love shaved ice and waffle cakes - glad to see more desert places in the US have them now. Great desert options. I wish I could have tried more. Prices are OK and about what I would expect for the quality. The staff were nice and made the atmosphere welcoming. Can be a bit slow if you order the waffle cones. Was hoping they would have the 'standard' waffle cakes you get in Hong Kong, but these didn't disappoint. If you love deserts - especially if you haven't tried shaved ice - go here and give it a try.

Google
This could be a problem for me since it's pretty close to our office. It's my second time having it since opening, and both times being super satisfied. It's great that they finally opened one in Oregon. The desserts here are all pretty tasty and not too sweet. I really enjoy the grass jelly as well as the caramel pudding and all the mochi items. The milk teas are also well made. The service is pretty quick even when busy. They have a kiosk you can order from as well as with an employee. The interior is pretty spacious and clean.

Google
A solid dessert chain makes its debut in Portland. The Taro Paste Volcano Shaved Ice was super tasty and good for 3-4 people. Even with 1/2 sugar it was very much on the sweet side. Be aware they are very busy and there is one machine for taking your order. Order in advance if you can or be prepared to wait a bit for your food.

Google
Extremely long wait, probably because I was with a big group. We ordered the mangoberry shaved ice, taro special, some grass jelly shaved ice. It's big in size, but i feel like it wasn't that great in taste. Although it's more aesthetically appealing to the eye.

Google
Employees here are really nice. There was an adorable and eloquent little girl at the front when I was there helping her family take orders. The people making the drinks were nice and willing to answer any questions plus work with any dietary restrictions as much as possible. Plus it's a clean place with nice bathrooms. Good place to stop by for very Asian desserts, my partner and I definitely had a little bit too much sugar from here but it was a fun time.

Yelp
Super excited that Meet Fresh decided to come to Portland. They are well known for their towering shaved ice and Asian dessert bowls with mochi and have drinks too. I didn't order any drinks but saw some on the counter and they look real fresh. Since my partner and I already ate a ton a food before coming, we ordered the red bean almond milk pudding. It was tiny and also real delicious. Will come back to try all their other creations soon!

Yelp
I enjoy going to Meet Fresh my to go order is the icy grass jelly signature with an additional flan on top. There are chewy taro balls, herbal jelly, and refreshing herbal grass jelly shaved ice. I like to pour the complimentary coffee creamer in, it add such a nice creamy taste to it. I haven't try their drinks yet maybe next time! Note: Meet fresh is a good hang out spot but the location it's in is so scary, it's downtown Portland so I get it but I remember walking to my car not even 20 steps away and there was a random person laying next to my car.

Yelp
The classic Taiwanese dessert chain. They offer many many varieties and options to satisfy your sweet tooth. We split the Pudding & Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice between the two of us and it's delightful. I was suspicious of getting a large at first but honestly it went down super easily and we destroyed it. The texture contrast between the chewy mochis and milky shaved ice made it super fun to eat. The salted caramel-y ice cream was also such a winner! I would be down to come back just for it. Big space. Cleaner than they used to be and friendly staffs. Great for hanging out and getting your sweet fix. I'll be back for their Egg Waffle soon.

Yelp
I stumbled upon this place after getting some xiao long bao nearby. I was craving some flavored milk tea boba but this menu was a bit more than I was expecting. I really wish I had been craving the shaved ice because it looked delicious. I got the fresh milk with taro and bubbles. They definitely followed my request for less sugar and it was a refreshing drink!
google avatar

Yelp
First, the name of the place doesn't resonate if I'm craving something sweet. There was only one person tending the register and preparing food and drink for a crowd of ~15 people on a Sunday. Ridiculous! The water station wasn't working. Of the various items we ordered, the towering one with a brown butter base and vanilla ice cream was our favorite. The others were more than decent. The place feels sloppy and unsanitary.
google avatar

Yelp
Decent dessert, a little pricey but it is good. So many options to choose from and boba had a good sweetness. Standard service and okay wait time. Overall pretty tasty.

Yelp
When I heard that Meet Fresh was coming to Portland, I was SO excited. It's the perfect dessert spot when you're craving dessert or something cold, but don't want something really heavy (AKA the Asian dream of a "not-too-sweet" dessert shop). The inside of the shop is big and very clean, with lots of seating. But! If you happen to go on a weekend, or a busy time, there might not be enough seating! They have a pretty big menu, ranging from jelly and tofu desserts, to sorbet, to egg waffles, to boba. You can order at the kiosk or the counter here and there's also an app for in-store rewards (it's pretty easy to rack up points quick)! My go-tos are the grass jelly desserts and the egg waffle, but everything is great. A recent favorite has been the sorbet series, which I highly recommend. And, the bingsoo is also amazing, but just keep in mind that they are REALLY big and easily serve 3-4 people.

Yelp
This spot is fairly new and parking can be kind of difficult, especially being near voodoo doughnut. There's actually plenty of spacing inside, and the space feels very spacious with high ceilings. The owner, who is working, the counter was so nice and helpful when trying to decide what to order from their extensive menu. We got the Taro paste volcano shaved ice, original waffle, mung bean cakes, and 3 bobas. We also got a free taro cake milk tea for checking in on Yelp. We got a medium, shaved ice and it was quite a bit to share for three people loaded with a bunch of toppings like red bean, taro, a lot of condensed milk, and more. The ice cream was nice and sweet. The shaved ice could use a bit more condensed milk but that's my preference. I got the fluffy wintermelon and the cheese foam thing on top was very good and sweet. Amazing spot and great prices for what you get in terms of quantity and especially quality.

Yelp
I've only been in to Meet Fresh once, and it was a quick stop for a takeout item between errands. It's located in what is not the best part of town, but it's fun to see a new shop opening up here. Paid street parking nearby. The store is pretty plain, but clean and a straightforward layout. It was not busy when I went at their opening around 11am. I didn't get anything adventurous, just a brown sugar boba. But it was really tasty! Very sweet, which is how I like my boba. A pretty large size. I'd like to come back to sit down and try more of their desserts.

Yelp
We actually have this shop in Northern California but I have never checked it out. We just got Voodoo doughnuts and we were wondering around with our pink box looking for a place to eat. We saw, through the window, someone having this huge tower of colored ice and I was now craving whatever it was due to the sweltering heat outside. We came in and the a/c was so welcoming! The place is very clean and so are their restroom. We saw the menu on the wall but it didn't have a price so we looked on the board by the register. We picked the strawberry and mango shaved ice and it was perfect for the three of us to enjoy. We almost didn't finish it but we didn't want to waste food....in this case....water as that is what's after the first layer, plain white shaved ice. I wish there were more flavors after the first layer, or maybe, include syrup on the side to add it on as we are left with just tasteless ice in the end? All in all, I would love to try the other items that they offer once we get back to California.

Yelp
I was excited when I find out that we were getting a Meet Fresh here! I hopped over from Xin Ding across the street to get my dessert fix. We got the Icy Taro Ball Signature and a Passionfruit Sorbet C (which has the Melon Jelly, Almond Pudding, and Mini Q). The taro dish really packed a fresh taro flavor in the variety of toppings it had. I especially liked the Potaro Balls which also had black sesame balls included. The Passionfruit Sorbet was very refreshing and complimented the taro dish. I'm so ready to go back and try many more dishes!

Yelp
Authentic Asian dessert in the heart of Portland! Nothing made me happier than Taiwanese desserts, and Meet Fresh has me at hello. I got matcha waffles on my first visit, yummy even a day after. Taro and ube balls swimming in ginger syrup and silken tofu were luxurious. Piping hot and not too sweet. Our new friend, James, an amazing staff member, gave us many samples to try, but I fell in love with the sea foam, which goes perfectly with my waffle. Salty, creamy, and sweet.

Yelp
Finally- a Meet Fresh in Oregon! This location had extremely kind and understanding staff. My group of 7 ordered, after lunch nearby, the Large Pudding & Q Milk Shaved Ice- which was HUGE and was split us. We also ordered the Icy Taro Ball signature- which had their signature taro and sweet potato balls. Although the shave ice took longer to complete, we got our order in two parts- which made the wait not as noticeable. (I would much rather get a two-part order than see the already ready items just sitting on the counter :)) PS: check in for a free milk tea with mini Taro Balls!
google avatar

Katie B.

Yelp
Lots of dessert options here, and great for groups to share and try different dishes. We came in after dinner, right before a dessert rush. We got the large shaved ice, which was big enough for 3-4 people easily to have their full. Fruity is our favorite, so we went with the strawberry and mango split option. It was massive - at the register I was a bit put off by the $18 price tag but it makes sense, given the massive size. While novel, I would opt for the regular size shaved ice next time. Towards the middle, the ice to toppings ratio was off and we really needed more fruit. Ambiance - none. You order at the counter and pick up at the counter when they call your number.

Yelp
went on a Saturday afternoon and it was very hot, they keep doors and widows open so it got even more muggy and humid inside. Would have been nice if they kept AC running as summer approaches and weather goes 85-90F easily. Long line and again in humid weather and can see they're super hectic with orders that when they run out of toppings it takes time to make order. We ordered mango shave ice (NOT WORTH IT) since it's seasonal and simple so thought we give it a try. Think they were running out because we barely got any mango sauce and mangoes as compared to the previous order. I was very disappointedddddddddd when I went to pick up the order that's $18 and such small amount of toppings. Photos on their menu definitely did not match. I instantly felt like Wailua shave ice was even cheaper and gave me more toppings and if was going to cost $18 they would load it up more. We have tried Meet Fresh in Federal Way and they're much better in quality and speed and freshness. We had their grass jelly/tofu ice bowls things with taro mochi balls etc. Think It is a great idea they're in Oregon now. personally feel they would get even more patrons if they opened up in Washington Square mall, it'll be indoor and AC can operate and no need to worry about finding parking in Downtown Portland/Chinatown area, the areas are very dirty and foul smell on the streets. Hopefully they do open up another location and consider WA sq mall, ample parking and is so much cleaner.

Yelp
Journal entry from Portland Heatwave August 2023: Are we dying? It feels like we are dying, we Oregonians are not a hot weather people and the current temperature is.....Hotter than the devils ass in a sauna. 104 and rising. Relief needed. Air conditioning and....whats this? Meet Fresh Taiwanese shave ice and desserts? This very well may be our salvation. Shave ice as it should be. Not too sweet, snow like powdery shave ice that is thoroughly saturated with all the delicious syrups and sauces. Fresh fruit, ice cream, taro balls etc, there are tons of choice. Not only is it delicious, but it is much more refreshing and healthy than ice cream or American versions of syrup drenched, tooth destroying shave ice. Not only that, the portions are mountainous, so unless you have a friend or two, don't get a large. This place is clean, air conditioned and well worth the price. Definitely one of my favorite places on a hot day.

Yelp
I can't believe meet fresh made it to Oregon! My mom in California is obsessed and I could only live vicariously through her until now! Taiwanese style desserts like shaved ice, grass jelly, taro based desserts, boba, etc. Friend got the icy taro without milk. They didn't have many non dairy options. They were super nice about it and let her know her best bets! We got the hot grass jelly with red bean, boba, and taro. Kiddo got a winter melon with boba (no caffeine) and A got the brown sugar tea boba. We also shared a red bean matcha egg waffle which was crunchy chewy and delicious! Everything was great! I was having ordering regret because I wanted all the things. Guess I'll just have to go back soon and get more! On a side note, this area of downtown is really becoming a sweet little Asian area with Stumptown Otaku next door, Afuri nearby, and with a dumpling spot coming soon across the street! Love it!
google avatar

John L.

Yelp
Newly opened Taiwanese shaved ice. It was super busy but the line moved fast I wanted taro so I got their taro special. The taro paste (looks like a scoop of purple ice cream) was good and taro-y, but the taro balls and potaro balls are gummy. The soft tofu was nice and soft while the syrup wasn't too sweet - just enough to inform you that it is dessert. The mochi were soft but otherwise unremarkable. Nice place to go and rest with something sweet to eat downtown.

Yelp
Another tasty but seriously over priced snack shop right near the Saturday market. Lots of Boba and egg topped tea and other drink options. There were egg cakes, that I though to order, but they were 8.99 for one order and I am used to getting them from a cart in NYC, hot off the griddle for $1 a bag. I got really excited when I saw silken tofu warmed in simple syrup. I ordered it for 8.99 and it came out with a medium amount of tofu and a lot of simple syrup. I've ordered a similar dish at Dim Sum for maybe $4? Definitely 4 stars for the quality of the snacks, which was high and consistent across our large group, I just can't get past the pricing.
google avatar

Darren Y.

Yelp
Hot almond soup b. Not bad. Sweet almond milk soup with lots of goodies. Nice to warm up on a cold day. This is your place to get your sugary Asian snack fix - good if you are jonesing but still not as good as asia
google avatar

Lily Z.

Yelp
So happy that Portland has a Meet Fresh now! Its located in downtown/street parking. I enjoyed my wintermelon drink. My friend wasnt a huge fan of his milktea he chose. The grassjelly desserts are always a must get. Love that herbally and cooling effect. You pour a little serving of halfandhalf over it, its perfec, with the different chewy mochi balls. The pudding and q mochi shaved ice is great for sharing. It was pretty sweet. The different types of mochi and puddings were fun to try! Next time, I'll try their tofu puddings! So so many items to choose from!
google avatar

Anthony C.

Yelp
Great service and food. The bingsoo os soooo tasty and the portion is big for the price and seems like a fair one at that. I love this place and I'm not a big bingsoo fan but this one was delicious. I believe the owner is often behind the counter too as he loves wearing jerseys and popping off in the back (in a positive way, of course. A lot of energy). There's a lot to choose from with different tastes and flavors, so you can go wrong, it's just hard to choose which one. There's also a little anime shop next door called Stumptown Otaku that you can check out on the way in or out.
google avatar

Yelp
It's Meet Fresh. If you dont know, try it. If you do know, you dont need to read this. Hot or cold desserts, taro balls, grass jelly, tofu. Glad to have one in Portland!!
google avatar

Rachel L.

Yelp
The icy tarot ball is sooo yummy. The mochi and boba were very qq. We also got a grass jelly milk tea with boba that was delicious too.

Kimi C.

Yelp
Now THIS is a desert. Ive tried everything from shave ice to ice cream. And unfortunatly none of them hit the spot. PUTTING THEM TOGETHER, you get that nice freshness from the mango shave ice but then you getg that delicious creamyness from the ice cream. I would rate it 10/10
google avatar

Gloria T.

Yelp
It's a place to satisfy a craving. Contrary to its name, everything is pre-made from a central facility and is either defrosted or heated up on site. I'm not a fan of not fresh food and having my food microwaved. Self serve by ordering on the machine. There is only one machine which causes creates a congestion. Otherwise it's good service and well staffed with the people preparing the desserts.
google avatar

Bayarea B.

Yelp
After trying this dessert in different states, I realized it was overpriced here. The cost doesn't match the quality of ingredients. Just because it is a large portion doesn't mean it's worth the price. It seems unreasonable to pay $15.50 for a simple dessert like plain ice with condensed milk and toppings.
google avatar

Diana X.

Yelp
So excited this opened in Portland! Parking was much better than I expected and I was able to find street parking not far away on a Saturday. The inside was crowded so I got my items to go and they came out very quick! The Mung bean cakes were insanely good with red bean filling inside. I got my wintermelon tea half sweet and it was still pretty sweet. The fresh milk black tea wasn't as flavorful as we expected. However, double taro signature and the boba tofu pudding were delicious. The tofu pudding wasn't very sweet but in a good way. I honestly can't wait to come back and try more things on this menu!
google avatar

Charlie T.

Yelp
This could be a problem for me since it's pretty close to our office. It's my second time having it since opening, and both times being super satisfied. It's great that they finally opened one in Oregon. The desserts here are all pretty tasty and not too sweet. I really enjoy the grass jelly as well as the caramel pudding and all the mochi items. The milk teas are also well made. The service is pretty quick even when busy. They have a kiosk you can order from as well as with an employee. The interior is pretty spacious and clean.
google avatar

James T.

Yelp
Came here for soft opening! Vibes are immaculate and give that nice, new, warm feeling. The quality of the food and drinks is what I expect from this chain (at least the several I've tried in California) and it's great! Oh, and soft opening comes with special deals, plus service staff with a smile ;)

Yelp
Happy to see a new Asian desert place in Portland. If you like boba, you'll prob like this place. We've tried the grass jelly ice and the hot almond soup combo c. Both were really tasty. Love the chewy bits and how it's not overly sweet.
google avatar

Priti K.

Yelp
This place is amazing. I've had the bubble tea, the mango/strawberry shaved ice and something else I can't recall the name of but it had amazing chewy little bites in it. This is my new go to bubble tea place Good customer service, great atmosphere, plenty of seating and really good desert. You might have difficulty finding parking at certain times of the day but other wise this place is amazing. Go here

Yelp
It does not look alike :( Picture vs reality. It's disappointing Food tasted not good Ambiance Friendly staff tho

Yelp
We had it catered to our work place. We had a few things to try: 1. Milk tea and unsweetened green tea. I tried plain milk tea and it was a tad sweet so I combined both teas and it was amazing. The unsweetened green tea was amazing because it was strong and flavorful. 30% milk tea and 70% green tea was my combo (more or less lol). Okay, so the tea got the 2 stars. The rest: 2. Cold glass jelly with red bean and mochi bowl. It was tasteless. I've had those toppings before and these were the most bland. The grass jelly couldn't decide if it wanted it to be more solid or liquid. The mochi texture was fine, but not outstanding. The red bean was also tasteless. Added the extra cream but it didn't help much other than making it creamier (lol). I'm no expert but I can buy canned versions of those toppings and make it and may be more flavorful because if I bought this, I personally don't think it's worth the money. 2. There was also the taro with sago coconut milk (椰汁芋頭西米露). The taro was tasteless and it felt like tapioca in white water. Barely any coconut milk. It's one of my favorite desserts but again, bland. Maybe they "westernized" it that's why it's not as flavorful? Not sure but after trying these out, I am not a fan of their Taiwanese sweets.

Yelp
How I love MeetFresh! I am so excited for this new location in Portland. This is the fourth distinct MeetFresh location I have been to, and it definitely ranks higher on the list compared to the other locations. The main thing setting this one apart is the "q" ranking of the taro balls. They are very springy and have a good chewiness to them. At this point, I have been twice, and ordered the Double Taro Signature, the Grass Jelly Signature (warm), the Red Bean Soup, and the Q Mochi Shaved Ice. The only critique I have for the dishes is that the ice in the Q Mochi Shaved ice is quite chunky compared to some of the other locations I have been to. I wish the ice was a finer ice inside of ice rocks that I had to occasionally crunch through. However, flavor wise and texture wise, the mochi and overall dishes were on point! One last note is the speed of service. I know they are working out some kinks and that the employees are working as fast as they can, and I am sure they will continue to improve. That being said, if you are looking for a quick turnaround, make sure you leave some waiting time to get your order.
google avatar

Annie H.

Yelp
Just what Portland needed! I loveeee asian desserts and I've always been a fan of Meet Fresh. I'm a big fan of the self servicing screen used to order. They should eventually invest in having two because those screens seem a little difficult to navigate for some folks, thus leading to longer waits than necessary. Besides that, I do think that the ordering screen is efficient. So far I've had the double taro signature, the icy grass jelly signature, and the pudding with mochi and shaved ice. All three were delicious but my favorite is the double taro signature. The thing I love about Asian desserts is that it's not heavy, not too sweet, and so refreshing, any time of day. There's no doubt that I will be back.

Yelp
Super delicious but portion are not always consistent which lead to many disappointments. But we are still willing to take our chances every once in awhile

Yelp
The brown sugar milk tea was great. The customer service was awesome. They deserve 5 stars for that. There are plenty of seating space for large group

Yelp
Meet Fresh is a must try if you're in Portland!! I never had a chance to try the location near Seattle, so I'm happy I had a chance to come here. I've been here a couple times already and each time was pretty busy. The wait time is quite long though and the bathrooms are pretty dirty. There was a lot to choose from on the menu and ordering through the touch-screen device was really simple. I'm curious how to become a rewards member here? Nothing really explained it, but I'd love to become a rewards member here! There were no seats available during the busy hours, but if you wait, someone will eventually leave. We were also here when the rush of people cooled down, so there were plenty of places to sit. We ordered a Mangoberry Milk Shaved Ice with condensed milk ($18.50+.75), Milk tea with extra boba ($6.50+.75), original waffle ($8.25), and Pudding & Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice ($16.50). The portions for the shaved ice were HUGE. Even with 5 people eating it, we couldn't finish them both. One shaved ice is definitely enough for 4-5 people! The mangoberry tasted so good! I really loved the taste of sweet and fresh strawberries and mango. I liked it better than the Pudding & Q Mochi shaved ice, but both were really good. The waffle and milk tea were average. I would definitely come back to try other milk/fruit teas and the grass jelly desserts! The foods and drinks here are on the pricier side, but worth it!

Yelp
YES. I love Meet Fresh and it's about time they come to Oregon! Just wish it was in a better location..... It's located on the edge of Chinatown with street parking only. I believe they're still in their soft opening stage. I went on a weekday afternoon and there were hardly any people. I heard it's pretty busy on weekends. They have a self-service kiosk where you order. It is pretty efficient. Might be better to have another kiosk. We got a shaved ice bowl, hot grass jelly bowl and a milk tea to go. My boyfriend loved the shaved ice. My grass jelly was delicious, but a bit too sweet for my taste. Some of the desserts' sweetness can be adjusted. Milk tea was a disappointment. For $7, I expected better. It was overpriced for a basic milk tea. I've been to other Meet Fresh locations in Seattle. The main difference are their menus are more extensive than the one here. I am hopeful that Portland expands their menu to match that of Seattle's.
google avatar

Kim L.

Yelp
I love meet fresh desserts! The 1 star dock is for the location. Between the sketchy neighborhood and the difficult parking, they would've done so much better opening up in the suburbs. Hope they open up a location out there.
google avatar

Shanna C.

Yelp
Im not sure if my expectations were too high or if this location is still trying to figure stuff out. I've been to other locations before and really enjoyed everything I got there. We got the taro shave ice here, and while massive, it was lacking in flavor. There was way too much ice... This really fell short of my prior experiences. We also tried a milk tea which tasted incredibly watered down. I know this place opened up fairly recently, and it was really busy when we came so that could have contributed. Hoping to try this place again in a few months and will see how it is then, stay tuned for an update!

Yelp
4 stars for the food quality -1 star for the location Your dessert's amazing. I believe that you have done better than Meet Fresh stores in Seatle. But the worse location, Pdx downtown is unsafe. We were experienced with lots of bad guys, drugs smells on the way to your store. Most of businesses have been closed and they have left out downtown to move to West Side, Beaverton. I look forward to seeing your 2nd store here.

Yelp
Waited in line for 15-20min and then waited another 30 minutes for dessert. Service was slow as expected for grand opening. Prices are a bit spendy for what it is. Nothing too special but worth trying.

Yelp
Food quality no good not worth with such price. Ordered the grass jelly signature, but actually is not jelly as the picture shown.

Yelp
Asian dessert Service is fine. Nice location near the cherry blossom waterfront. Street parking or nearby smart park garage. You can order nine or from their app inside the store.

Yelp
Perfect balance of flavors and the ingredients tasted fresh. The menu offers a variety of desserts. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Solid 5/5. Can't wait to come again.

Yelp
Chocolate Waffle Deluxe was soooooo yummy. Little bit of a long wait but worth it. Very clean and inviting inside.

Yelp
Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy! All the tables were taken so we waited about 10mins for a spot to open up. We ordered the Double Taro Signature for 2 people. The portion was huge and it's filling. Everything tasted as expected from my previous experience at other Meet Fresh locations. I recommend have someone find a seat if you're going in a group. Will come back to try the bingsu.

Yelp
I went here with a couple people and while the place itself was very warm and musky the food was pretty good! I loved the fruit and the sauce on the shaved ice and it tasted amazing. We also tried their cold tofu and their grass jelly which both, while boasted less of a sweet taste, were very good! For the price the shaved ice was huge so I would definitely get less next time I come as it was so much!
