Meet - Review - Mount Pleasant - Vancouver - The Infatuation

"From its name alone, Meet seems like it would be the perfect place to take someone for a rib-eye. But it’s actually where you should take people who really like vegetables - or to convince people who think they don’t like vegetables otherwise. Some of our favorites on the all-vegan menu are the oyster mushroom calamari, the Big Yum bowl, and their queso. Meet gets pretty packed and wait times are usually inevitable (they don’t take bookings), but if you go later on you’ll find it easier to get a table, and you might make it for their late-night Happy Hour from 10pm until close (11pm weeknights or midnight on the weekend). It can get a bit rowdy on the later side, so it’s a fun place to go with friends and to offset all those vegetables with alcohol. photo credit: Jackie Picard" - Shelley Mason

We had brunch at the Gastown location, it was so good that my (non vegan) boyfriend suggested we go again before leaving Vancouver! We went to this location on Main and got the Buffalo cauliflower Mac and cheese, and gnocchi whipped feta. Omg it was absolutely incredible !!!!! The best mac and cheese we have ever had and the gnocchi was so flavourful and filling. Every part of it was so good. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Vancouver

Meet used to be so good but the food quality has gone downhill in the last few years. We came here for a birthday and the food was so salty we could barely eat it. Everything that was crispy was brown and almost burnt, like they were refried a second time. I miss the old menu, they no longer have the gravy bowl, stroganoff or portabello mushrooms. The redeeming dish was the pad thai if you are ok with it but being authentic. We felt that the food was similar or worst than what we can make at home. The music was also loud like a night club. So sad to see what used to be a unique restaurant turn into basic food that you don't need to go to a vegan restaurant for.

I remember the first time I came here. At that time, I tried vegan food for the first time, and it was so delicious. That's why I stop by when I come to the main street. The atmosphere here is so good that I always feel happy.

Google
MeeT on Main was a hit! With a spin off the tongue name, I decided to look further into what this restaurant was all about and I wasn’t disappointed. Primarily a burger joint, I decided to order off the happy hour menu (which has some decent options believe it or not) and received The Happy Burger served with fries and some fry sauce, definitely would recommend if you’re looking for something unique, but also familiar. It wasn’t the everyday black bean burger, but one crafted with a Fieldhouse-esque type of flavor. Located near the heart of Vancouver, beginner vegans and connoisseurs alike can find plenty to enjoy here.

The interior is intimate yet lively different types of seating in a good location. I first ordered the cucumber elderflower spirt cocktail it was refreshing.🌸 Kalmari ⭐️ Was delicious reminded me of my past Calamari eating days. The texture was on point like actually meaty and sauce on the side compliment it. Crispy Chick'un burger ⭐️ Had the chicken burger it was great. I hadn't had a chicken burger in years, so it seemed just what i remembered it. Also, the fries were on point, not too greasy, just right. Overall, I'll definitely come back again

As a person who loves meat, I still like exploring vegan restaurants once in a while, and this one’s my favourite in the city. I love Noodley-Thai, their version of the pad thai with tofu.

My friend and I came here for lunch before Christmas. I ordered the meet burger which was yummy. I've enjoyed food at Meet on Main on several occasions and it's always delicious. A little disappointed with the service today but this may just be because it was Christmas week. Highly recommend this place and for sure I will be back.

Loved the vibe and the service. The portion size for the price could've been larger and the taste was decent overall. The Korean gochujang vegan skewers were so good then again portion size was quite small. Despite the critical review this place is definitely one of the top vegan/vegetarian places in Vancouver.

Yelp
Food: Just came here for a poutine craving! Rest of menu seemed standard western food. - Philly Cheese steak Poutine $18.50 So yummy! Really nice crisp on the potatoes. Good umami flavored gravy. Cheese is more of a melted ooze not curds. Prefer just the usual poutine dish, the fake meat was actually pretty good but ridiculously salty and strongly seasoned. Partner thought it tasted good balanced flavor, crispy potatoes, wanted more potatoes, felt like there was too much vegetables. Ambiance: Lots of hearts hanging up, a bit more of modern pub like atmosphere, quite bustling but was easy to get a table for 2. Service: Polite and efficient. Side note, for just poutine during happy hour before 5 or after 8pm it's cheaper!

Yelp
This review is long overdue from when we went to Vancouver, but this was the first food stop we made after a rough day of traveling. Many Youtubers, vegan Instagrammers, or Reddit Posts recommended to try MeeT, so of course we had to see what the hype was about. There was plenty of seating inside and outside, but we chose to eat outside. One of the staff members said the service might not be fast since we're sitting outside, but our waitress, Dani, was so attentive and never forgot us! She went above and beyond by taking the time to check on us frequently, having long chats, and giving us the 101 around town. From giving us book recs to local restaurants and attractions around the city, Dani was a pool of knowledge and such a pleasure to talk to. She also knows Main Street like the back of her hand! Dani recommended the following dishes: Okonomiyaki - it was a bit salty for me, but still delicious. The pickled ginger really topped this dish off! It was a great appetizer before our actual meal came. Gruvi peruvi - there was an emphasis on olives, which is unusual for me but unique for this salad! I don't think I've ever had olives in a salad before, so it was interesting how it was the highlight of the dish. Elderflower spritz - light and not too sweet. The lemon really balances out the floral tones. I'm glad there wasn't too much carbonation in the drink. Mid-way through our meal, Dani came out to check up on us, but also surprised us saying her manager offered us dessert, on-the-house. Such a wonderful surprise! The restaurant did live up to the hype, and the staff were nothing but spectacular! Definitely will come back next time I'm in Vancouver.

Yelp
We dropped by here for a late night dinner/ snack. I guess it was dinner for some of us, and snack for others since not everyone was feeling that hungry.  Featured here: Oyster Mushroom Kalamari Teem Poutine Southern Fried Chick'Un Burger Everything was good but for some reason not as good as it was the first time we came here.  My daughter and I had come here earlier this year for the Poutine Festival. I still think the poutine they offered for the festival should be placed on their regular menu. It was sooo good!  Still a solid choice for plant based eats. Hope the next time we go the food will once again be as amazing as it was the very first time we tried this place.

Yelp
Go HERE for outstanding vegan food!!! 1. Great service. Server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. She provided great recommendations which led to me eating some pesto gnocchi. 2. The pesto gnocchi with "chicken" added. This. Was. PHENOMENAL. I hadn't enjoyed a vegan meal like this in a long time. The chicken tasted like meat, the gnocchi was cooked well, tasty pesto, bountiful cheese, good additional chew from the pine nuts. I couldn't have asked for more from this dish, except, well, more of it!! I still think about this meal sometimes. 3. Vibes are super cute inside. Kinda gives me farmhouse pub vibes?? Idk but there's ambient lighting and a moody feel. Feels like a good place for girl dinner or date night!

Yelp
Thoughtful menu with solid vegan options! I like that it's not just so tofu/chickpeas. Really friendly staff with prompt service. Outdoor seating is nice for summer.

Yelp
If you're craving a hearty vegan meal for lunch or dinner, this is the place for you. They have multiple locations around Vancouver and serve a wide selection of plant-based alternatives to all of our favorite dishes. What I liked about this place is that someone might not realize it's a vegan restaurant when they visit. Perfect place to bring your non-vegan friends, they won't know what hit them. Not only do they have a decent lunch/dinner menu, but their drink menu is pretty nice too. We ended up sticking with some yuzu ginger soda since it was lunch. If I came here for dinner, there would be a lot of cocktails I would have liked to try... maybe next time! I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of this place. I thought it was cool how they had a VHS TV at the front door playing old movies. While waiting for a couple of friends to show up, I got to watch "Shrek" that was playing on the TV.

Yelp
Spontaneously came in with a friend on a weeknight. Busy, but no wait for a table. Friendly service. Enjoyed a glass of Hoochy Booch kombucha on tap and a Mediterranean burger. I can appreciate that fries and salad are both included with the burger, but the fries did were a little greasy and did nothing for me. To be fair, I'm not a fries person, but I can occasionally be convinced by really good fries. The burger was great though, and the patty was hefty and filling. I was happy with the price I paid ($25, including the drink) for a very filling meal. I noticed the decor more than I did the last time I was here. Its eclectic and I can see where there are spots in the design that can come across as "crowded", but I like this style, I think it's fun and interesting.

Yelp
So so good. Ordered the crispy chicken burger and ohh my goodness!! Teem poutine was AMAZING! The topper was the house made orange cream soda! Best thing I have ever drank IN MY LIFE...like seriously IN MY LIFE! Service was fabulous. Everything was fabulous!

Yelp
This was the first time to this Meet location. Staff was friendly, no pretentious vibes here. It is very nice to go places where they don't make your partner or yourself feel bad for not ordering more things or drinks in my case! Lemon Tart - DELICIOUS! Looks more like a Cake Slice to me but the taste more than makes up for any qualms about the naming of this tasty morsel. I'm not usually a big fan of coconut anything but this coconut crust has made me a fan. Lemon game was the right profile of slightly tart but sweet. Overall a great ending to a light meal. Steak Tostada- Had a bit of a saltier taste profile but but the sour cream taste was quite nice. Steak curls were just a tad too salty for me. I wouldn't let these stay on the table too long next time as the shell can get a doggy from the liquid and moisture. Is the curl itself actually meat? I'm not sure to be honest. I couldn't really tell. All things considered, I don't usually look for a curl of a steak. Beet Salad - large & feeling. Would have preferred more beets but did it's job and filled up our tummy Oyster Mushroom Calamari- Probably my least favorite. I'm not sure I prefer mushrooms fried. Worth a gamble. Nice space to go to enjoy some eats.

Yelp
I have yet to visit MeeT on Main with a guest who has not left amazed with the "kalamari" or whatever seasonal cocktail is on the menu that month! I could eat here almost every day. Very friendly staff, great ambience, solid serving sizes and value for great vegan food.

Yelp
Delicious vegan food, awesome vibe, and super friendly staff! I had the Thanksgiving special. There were 2 imitation turkey patties on a fluffy vegan brioche bun with lemon aioli and orange-date jam. I'm not sure if they bake their own bread or where they get it, because I've never had such a perfect vegan brioche! This all came with a side of "stuffing fries" dressed with stuffing, fried brussels sprouts, and more lemon aioli. It was a huge, filling portion for under $20. They make all their own sodas. I had the orange soda which was delicious, fresh, and not too sweet. The cocktails looked really great too! I would definitely come here again if I lived in Vancouver!!

Yelp
This was the first of our vegan restaurants tour of Main Street. We had the sweet chili cauliflower for appetizer. For the main course, we had the Mighty Mac Burger and Crispy Chickun Burger. Best of the bunch was the sweet chili cauliflower, crispy and sweet. It hits all the right spots. The Mighty Mac Burger was also very good. The Crispy Chickun Burger was okay, crispy but nothing really stood out. I really like that you get half salad and half fries with your order, the best of both worlds.

Yelp
What a great find! A friend and I were in Vancouver for the day after a fabulous Alaskan vacation, and a friend brought us here. Neither of us are vegan, but we were told the food was delicious. So true!!! We had the sweet chili cauliflower (we left nothing on the plate!) and the oyster mushroom kalamari (sooooo good!). We were both super impressed that a vegan restaurant was so good that it came back in our dreams once we were back in the US. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
MeeT on Main is a Vegetarian restaurant I got lucky and won a $50.00 EGift Card from entering the contest at the Health Expo Convention earlier this year. Parking was VERY CONVENIENT as the empty spot had like an hour on the parking meter. Thirst: Elderflower Spritz Floral elderflower syrup with fresh lemon and soda Quite refreshing, a definite REPEAT Yuzu Ginger Soda House-made ginger shrub, yuzu lemon syrup, lemon juice and soda water Tastes like Ginger Beer. Yum. a REPEAT. If I return, I would be interested in trying the other types of House-made sodas. Grub: Mucho Gusto Burger Black Bean Patty Burger with half fries (with mayo dip!) and half salad Chipotle Mayo dip delicious! I love the avocado spread! I would REPEAT, would like to try the other items on the menu. Appy: Oyster mushroom Kalamari Crunchy and tasty.I personally think non-Vegetarians might mistake this as Kalamari. Cauliflower Sweet Chili sweet, delicious taste The taste is quite overpowering, still good. Strong taste. The experience was great until the bill arrived. They charged me an additional drink that I didn't have. And it took a while for them to resolve the matter, instead of refunding the amount charged and re-charge the correct amount, which had already included tips, they simply offered a 'refund' for the additional mistaken drink. I would come back here with vegetarian and non-vegetarian friends.

Yelp
MeeT in Yaletwon location taste way better. Service was nice. The food for myself which was a burger with sides and my group was all "eh", who had a myriad of salads and burgers.... The tables and chairs were comfortable but the decor was a bit different...not contemporary and a bit odd.
google avatar

Andrea M.

Yelp
Decided to finally try MeeT on Main after a few friends recommended this vegetarian place to us. We tried their Butter Chikkin Poutine and Meet Burger and they were surprisingly really good! I like my meat and wasn't expecting it to be as tasty, but they did a good job packing the flavour. Our mistake for not upgrading our burger fries to a poutine, so it was quite carb heavy for us.
google avatar

Erica W.

Yelp
Sooo delicious. I'm not vegan though I'd love to be... perhaps could be if I could eat these shittake calamari every day . Oxymoron of indulgent vegan food! Lots of drink options, both nonalcoholic and alcohol. I appreciated my refreshing, fruity beverage, though I can't remember as it was two weeks ago. Dog-friendly and plenty of outdoor seating.

Yelp
Good food, great drinks. Very casual place to go on your own or last minute with friends

Yelp
We were so hungry we ordered an appetizer to start - the groovy gravy fries - and it ended up being SOOO good and filling for two people that we both just ate a little bit of our own main dish and had to pack the rest to-go The fries were topped with cashew miso gravy and it surprised us both since miso is usually more on the salty side but as a gravy, it was the perfect balance with cashews! Definitely would reorder this again...and again For myself, I got the double double burger with a side of their daily soup (cheesy potato cauliflower). I did ask for no tomatoes in my burger which they forgot but it was easy to pick out. I ate about half the burger and saved the rest for next day's snack; still so good even after reheating it! The soup was very good as well; I just wish restaurants didn't have to top it off with green onions so I won't have to scoop it out We actually didn't even realize the dishes were all vegan friendly until halfway through the meal! I remember the very first time I had vegan food, I did not like it at all but now, I love exploring the vegan world and trying out all the plant-based options! I highly recommend checking out this place if you're vegan or just want to try some amazing vegan meals! I absolutely wish we had one in Saskatoon cause it was one of the best meals I had in Vancouver

Yelp
It used to be one of my go-to restaurants but the one in Yaletown. Finding this on Yelp makes me crave again; I'll pay a visit soon.

Yelp
Such a creative menu. Some of the best vegan food I've ever had. Their pick ip is really quick too (20-25 mins). I loved the mac n cheese doughnuts, the pasta, and the poutine!

Yelp
My party was headed to Bard on the Beach so we decided to stop in and grab some eats at MeeT on Main last week. This is my second time eating at MeeT and I'm already looking forward to returning. I found their staff to be attentive and friendly. The place was busy but the food came promptly and hot. We started with calamari and drinks before ordering our entrees. I think the calamari will be something I order every time because it is just that good. Oyster mushrooms are where it's at. I've had the Crispy BBQ burger before but ordered it with Caesar salad this time and I was not disappointed. The burger is easily one of my favourite plant-based burger out there. The Caesar salad is worth trying! My wife ordered the ginger beefless bowl and absolutely loved it. She said it would be something she'd order again. The sauce has just the right level of spice to it. My mother-in-law ordered the lovely bowl and enjoyed it. She was not able to finish it because of how hearty it was. Both bowls are beautifully put together and look almost too good to eat. Thanks MeeT on Main! I look forward to seeing you again.

Yelp
Been coming here since they opened though I most often frequent the Gastown location. Gastown has brunch everyday which in my opinion should be mandatory for every restaurant. And all day for that matter. Lol. But it has some decent options for when you are on the run. My kids like it. I prefer my food to not be so fried or greasy but like I said there is lots of options to choose from. And every now and then you have to go for the mushroom calamari fried or not.
google avatar

Mel M.

Yelp
It noisy and the seats are hard as rock, but holy smokes the food!! Who knew Vegan could be like this?!

Anna T.

Yelp
Great first visit! Very innovative approach to vegetarian cuisine. I've been hearing amazing things about Meet and so glad I finally got to try it. Service was excellent. The server gave us an orientation to their revised menu and suggestions on popular dishes. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The ginger soda and iced pekoe peach tea were refreshing. Will be returning again with friends!
google avatar

Aditi D.

Yelp
One of the best vegan places I have EVER been to. The Mac N Cheese and Poutine are to die for. I remember when I was in college I used to live on poutine and was horrified when I found out it wasn't vegan. I haven't been able to eat legit poutine again until I went to Meet On Main (vegan this time). I love their patio and their servers are always super friendly as well! During unrelated trips since we have stopped in Vancouver just to eat at Meet On Main!
google avatar

Tiffany C.

Yelp
I love meetonmain! It's vegan-tastic! Their vegan poutine is amazing. I've tried their regular one and the "butter chicken ", both satisfied my poutine craving. I've also tried their ginger beef bowl, were is awesome! Their portions are large, I suggest going with friends and sharing a few things Their vegan Caesar is great! They have other cocktails as well that look amazing. It's a casual place, and the servers are lovely. They're very friendly and welcoming. They know their product well! I highly recommend this one!!

Yelp
I entered that place without knowing anything about it and I got an excellent surprise in the service and delicious food. 100% Recomended

Yelp
Love the MeeT restaurants in Vancouver. I've eaten here several times over the past few years. Street parking is easy at this location. It's usually busy, but the wait (if any) is minimal. We went on a Wednesday night for dinner. It was packed, but we got right in. The entire menu is vegan and delicious. We ordered two things we'd never had before: hot and sour soup and a special poutine. The soup was very bland and brothy. I wouldn't liken it to hot and sour soup at all. The poutine was excellent and is featured just this week. They have several types of poutine offered on the regular menu though. The burger is fantastic if you want comfort food. Comes with fries and a little salad. The mushroom calamari is a must. Lightly battered and delicious!

Yelp
Sept 17 and went with my brother for vegan food. Decided ok MeeT on Main. We went about 5:30pm and was able to get a seat outside. I now need to watch my sugar intake closely. It's harder to eat out because of this. They were able to find something I can have and adjusted some ingredients. I had the Macro bowl. Instead of mushrooms which I am not a fan of with sweet potato. It was delicious! I can confirm the dinner did not spike my blood sugar the next morning. My brother had the Main burger and he enjoyed it. He said it's the best veggie burger he has had. They were bumping busy with lots of people picking up orders. Highly recommend.

Max W.

Yelp
Food was good! We both loved our lunch. We had multiple servers come by our table & everyone was really nice. Innovative meat substitutes. Looking forward to my next meal.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm not a vegan but I love trying innovative vegan food! This place has a great drink menu and a great vibe! Ordered the fried oyster mushroom "calamari" to start and it was super tasty. Perfectly fried, served with a nice garlicky tzatziki and a wedge of lemon. Honestly, I actually prefer this over real calamari. My only complaint was it was a tad salty. For the mains we had The Crispy BBQ burger and the Meet Burger. This comes with salad and fries and both are delicious. Salad was lightly dressed and had a nice tangy dressing. Fries were soooo good, like too good, like you eat too many you have to unbutton the top of your pants after so you can breathe good! The burgers were tasty but very big and hard to eat! Bbq sauce was delicious. Definitely coming back to try the bowls next! Service was great as well!

Yelp
Came by on a weekday night around 6. It was quite busy but we still found a table near the rear. The room has a artsy hipster vibe...all good. It was challenging to read the menu as it was so dark inside. I had heard good things about the burgers so went with The Meet Burger. The presentation was impressive and I liked that the burger included salad and fries. And the fries were perfectly cooked. Unfortunately the burger was nothing special and the crispy onion strings were cold and soggy. Other than the fact that we had to wave three times to get the attention of our server to order food, the service was okay. The good was the fries, the presentation of the food and that they had an IPA on draft. The bad was the taste of the burger and service. We have no plans to return.

Yelp
Went here for St. Patties Day Our server Derek was AWESOME!!! Seriously made our night. I got the double double and my friend got the angry bird with poutine. It was my friends first time having vegan food and explained "wow I thought I'd have to compromise flavour but this is some of the best food I've ever had a restaurant ever." For dessert we had chocolate moose - so light and fluffy - and the cheesecake which was also very tasty and a bit richer. Was an amazing evening. Will definitely be back. Huge shout out to Derek again for all his guidance, patience, and for being an awesome person as well. Definitely put our already great evening off the charts.

Yelp
I love going to MeeT with friends. It's the perfect places that satisfies everyone's palate and leaves you feeling like a true Vancouverite (also stuffed) for eating plant based. Plus the atmosphere is so much fun! We had no issues getting a table for 5 on a Saturday afternoon and the service was really fast too. Just wish they came around more often to refill our waters. So far I've only stuck with the bowl dishes at MeeT, which I've found so filling and hits the spot every time. There are plenty of veggies in each bowl and it comes with brown rice too. The noodly Thai has a great sauce but doesn't leave you feeling greasy after which I love! I'll have to come back to try the poutine and the burgers another time.
google avatar

Kenneth W.

Yelp
Finally had a chance to try this buzzing place! It was lunch on a weekday and the place was packed. Servers were all polite and friendly. They know their menu and can make recommendations. I had the signature burger and it was tasty. I felt healthy biting into this non-meat burger. But I confess. I'm more of a carnivore and prefer a juicy meaty burger. I'm glad Vancouver has this option and I will try other items in the near future.
google avatar

Eliza L.

Yelp
Love how accommodating these guys are with allergies! I came early to speak to the server about options since I read online that they use nuts in a lot of their menu items. I really liked how they clearly specify on the menu which contain nuts, which contains gluten, and which are vegan. They assured me that they have staff members who are anaphylactic to nuts and eat food from the kitchen everyday, so they are very mindful about reducing cross contamination. Awesome! I was in the mood to try the butter chicken - and wow it did not disappoint! It was so flavourful and comforting and the "chikkin" was actually more delicious than actual chicken in my opinion. Since the sauce itself is a bit heavy, it was nice to have the nice salad on the side. It was very filling and I would gladly order it again! The only annoying thing was that my whole group got their food way before me and we had to follow up twice to ask where mine was -- oh well...
google avatar

Yelp
I haven't had this is YEARS I used to be SO obsessed with Meet on Main back in high school! During lunch breaks, spare blocks and even before basketball practices/games, I would always be rushing to Main Street to pick up my Noodley-Thai order Now that I'm a little older and my preferences have changed a little, i can't wait to finally try something else on their menu as I've only ever ordered Noodley-Thai I also absolutely love their Chocolate and Coconut Ganache Tart vegan, dairy-free... it just melts in your mouth This is definitely up their in my top 5 favourite desserts :) A little bit on the pricier side but it's always a great experience, whether I'm dining in or getting take out My only complaint is that the food does take quite a bit of time.

Katie W.

Yelp
This place was bomb! We don't normally use DoorDash, but this place was pretty far, so we ordered in and was surprisingly pleased by the food services. On the fries and Mac and cheese, they packaged the cheese/sauce separately to prevent to food from getting soggy, which was so brilliant. We also got the sweet chili cauliflower which was DELICIOUS. Over one of the best vegan places we've been to!
google avatar

Martin L.

Yelp
Ordered the Mac n cheese, Chili Cauliflower, and the poutine. Pretty dang good, especially not having meat/dairy products in these. Next time, I would add bacon to the Mac n cheese. That dish just needed some textural contrast. I would also add something to the poutine for the same reason. However, the chili cauliflower was a wonderful bite!!

Yelp
Really great vegan food with nice atmosphere and excellent service. Our server was kind, attentive, and explained menu options and how the food is prepared. Our appetizers and main and desserts were delicious! I am the only vegan but my two non vegan friends love this place so much they recommended we go here and We will definitely return. Highly recommend.

Yelp
After several long days on the road trip, we decided to sleep in and straight go for lunch at MoM. We were a bit early for lunch and being a weekday not much busy and were seated right away. Promptly advised that they would put a gratuity due to 7 of us. As we had missed breakfast we were starving and ordered just about everything on the menu it felt between the 7 of us. 2 Mighty Mac Burgers done differently, Portobello Burger, Yo' Ribwich, Double Bakon Cheeze, Chiggin Caesar and Mucho Gusto Burger. All of them came perfectly as requested. Almost all of us had a preference and all of them done correctly and promptly. Some of the burgers mighty and glad tney come with a stabbed knife. Most of us cut the burgers in half and shared with others. Mac Burgers, Ribwich, Double Bakon Cheeze and Caesar Salads were among the best. Blushing Lady Grey a tea was amazing. So good that we have been trying to recreate at home. Very good service as well. At the time of handing us the cheque the server reminded us that gratuity was already added. Was pleased with this gesture and left a bit extra.

Yelp
Whenever i searched for vegetarian options in downtown, this would be in top searches but i wold end up going somewhere else coz this is actually in the heart of gastown. Setting is cafe chairs with some on open patio. Not a very big space but enough to seat 50 people atleast. Very happening and hippy environment. Loud music n too much activity of bartenders, servers, cooks in the semi open kitchen. We didnt have to wait to be seated. Orders were taken n drinks were served. Rich n flavour full food. Each item was abundance in quantity for one person . Fresh ingredients , mild spices n just the right amount of tanginess in ginger lemon drink made it a wonderful food outing. Servers are well versed n polite. With a smile they bring u ur food and regular check to ask for anything else. I still need to taste more items on the menu. Coming soon to meet..

Yelp
I'm much more sold on this place nowadays. I order every few months and am always satisfied. One of my favourites is the Seoul bowl ($17.50 plus tax), which comes with deliciously seasoned and sauced "chicken", perfectly fermented kimchi, sauteed mushrooms and onions, cooked kale, cooked bean sprouts, raw carrots, some nori, served over brown rice, and drizzled with a nice sweet ginger soy sauce. Generous portion and nicely constructed bowl. Very satisfying dish. One of the better non-ethnic vegan places in town. Recommended.

Yelp
MeeT on Main was also an unexpected find, but one that I am so happy to have come across! My friends and I were desperately searching for some healthier comfort food, and wow this spot did not disappoint. The amount of flavor in each dish is kind of bizarre. I have to highlight their special item of the week, which was the Cowboy fries and wow... I'm a little speechless on how flavorful and delicious that item was (it was too good that my table ordered a second round...). MeeT on Main definitely does not hold back! Other than the Cowboy fries, we also had the thai bowl, butter chikkin, and poutine, and I really have nothing negative to say about any of those dishes. Each came with a very sufficient portion, and were hands down the best vegan food I have ever tried. I would definitely be going back for more if I lived in the area. They also have some late night happy hour starting at 9pm, so definitely worth a try!

Yelp
Food is good but mainly deep fried, too oily for my liking but it tastes good! Decent service and chill vibes!

Yelp
I'm always looking for good vegetarian restaurants and I'm glad I finally tried this one. I'm glad I stopped by and would definitely have the vegan burger again

Yelp
It was a rainy Friday in January. A group of 8 of us arrived at 11:30 and were seated immediately. There was a list of kombucha, but only 2 were available at that time. I ordered the house Kombucha and it tasted alright. We ordered at 11:52am and the order arrived at 12:07pm. I ordered the Thai salad. I forgot to ask for the dressing to be on the side, and I find the salad to be a bit overdressed for my liking. The salad was ok. Nothing special. Some of the group didn't really like it, some find it good. Overall, nice experience.

Yelp
It seems like vegetarian food is on the rise and I'm excited to try more plant based food! We shared the Seoul Bowl, Butter Chicken Poutine and the Meet Burger. The poutine was HUGE. It was literally a giant bowl of fries! The sauce was pretty good and it did taste like butter chicken but it was a bit too much for us. The patty on the MeeT burger was a bit too thin and dry and maybe even slightly burnt but when you ate everything together it was ok. The fries were crispy and it came with a spicy mayo? The Seoul Bowl was our favourite. The sweet soy ginger sauce tasted really good with everything when you mixed it all up. The chikkin was good too and it had the texture of Chinese wheat gluten? Not really sure what it was but it was good with the sauce. I wouldn't be opposed to coming back if someone wanted to try it.
