Truly truly honest and clean noodle shop I have ever been that highlights rice in other than in grain form. And by clean, I mean I cannot taste a trace of lingering saltiness, or preservative after-tastes, or any awkward unnatural sauce burns on the tongue during or after the meal. This is truly the noodle place to eat if you want a simple clean noodle or appetizer dishes. Do any entrees flavors tickle your mind, remind you of some deep unctuous Michelin star restaurant disk, or so full-bodied like tonkotsu where you'll never be able to taste the same flavors again? No, absolutely not. Some might claim it's bland. But when we tried the rice noodle dishes and dumpling appetizers, we can tell the rice noodle soup did not leave a oily or salty film on the tongue dehydrating you for rest of the day. And the dumplings honestly tasted home-made with good amount of filling and thin wrapper - again, no weird lingering flavors. The hot rice cake desserts have a very satisfyingly chew - but can come with more brown sugar syrup. This would be the place to eat if you are recovering from a long illness with some much needed clean nourishment and you just don't feel like cooking. Now if the owner would just provide extra napkins and spicy chili sauce/powder for diners to add, that would make a world of difference. Overall, high ratings for offering very clean-tasting food.

This recently opened Chinese rice noodle specialty restaurant at The Shops @ Fairfax is a must-visit for authentic Chinese rice noodles. While the menu is more streamlined than many other Chinese restaurants, the dishes I tried were outstanding. Chives, shrimp & pork dumplings tasted homemade, with perfectly balanced seasonings that enhanced the flavors without overpowering them. The Chicken & Pork Stomach Rice Noodle Soup was rich and satisfying, featuring a flavorful umami broth and a generous portion of meat and rice noodles that offered excellent value for the price. For dessert, I indulged in the Coconut Lava Balls—deep-fried treats filled with coconut milk and tapioca, combining a delightful subtle sweetness with a crunchy exterior. It was the perfect way to conclude the meal. Service was prompt, and the food arrived quickly. The ambiance was clean and inviting, making the overall experience very enjoyable.

Love the rice noodle at 蒙自源 Meet Ricenoodle! It’s the most authentic and healthy ricenoodle I’ve eaten in DMV. The rice is also yummy. So happy to find my hometown food here🥰

The noodles were cooked well which is very important for the rice noodle and the soup was pretty good, liked it better with a little bit more vinegar and chili oil which you can ask for on the side. The chili oil chicken and cucumber was very good. Also got the pork, shrimp and chive dumplings, the filling was delicious. Would definitely come back and try another noodle soup flavors.

I had the tomato and beef rice noodle soup and my wife had the braised beef rice noodle soup. we also shared chive, shrimp and pork dumplings. Excellent flavors and big portion of the noodle soups. Definitely a surprisingly good find.

We were in the area and saw this new noodle spot and decided to give it a try . Definitely enjoyed their rice noodles and authentic Chinese flavors . We also had the Taiwanese popcorn chicken and crispy pork which was a hit among my kids . My daughter said “it was very yummy and nice.” :) The restaurant itself is clean and well decorated, the and the service was quick, attentive and friendly . Definitely recommend going here , we will be returning .

Meet Rice Noodle is an awesome local spot and has definitely earned a spot in my regular rotation. The star here is the broth - every bowl comes out super flavorful but still really clean and clear, so you get all the depth without any greasy heaviness. It looks as good as it tastes and feels like something that's been simmered with a lot of care. The rice noodles have a great bite, and the portions are generous enough that you leave full but not sluggish. The place itself is bright and clean, and the staff is friendly and quick, which makes it an easy choice for a casual lunch or low-key dinner with friends. If you're in Fairfax and craving a comforting bowl of noodles with amazing broth, Meet Rice Noodle is absolutely worth a stop.

You know it's a good spot when you walk in and you only see Asian faces eating. What would we order again? * Chicken rice bowl - Our favorite!!! * Chicken noodle soup * Buns with a sweet glaze dip What would we not order again? * Chive, pork and chicken dumplings. They just weren't my personal favorite flavor. There wasn't anything necessarily wrong with the dumplings, I just prefer dumplings and other restaurants. I do wish they had dumplings that didn't have beef or pork in them because my boyfriend doesn't eat beef, pork or lamb.

This recently opened up and heard good things about this chain. I got the signature noodle soup that was very warm and comforting. The tomato base wasn't too strong and had a nice mild flavor. We got a couple apps to share and they were all just ok and nothing special. If you are looking for a soupy noodle dish that isn't ramen or pho, this is definitely a place to check out. I loved here. Decor was cute, the staff was nice and greeted us immediately. The pork was nice and crisp, the dumplings took the longeat bit they did not disappoint. My soup was delicious, the broth was really light and I'm not sure what it was seasoned with. It was a different flavor than what I've tried. Overall great experience and will come back.

Amazing traditional soup. I got N1. And got it again my 2nd time. Owner is very sweet. Broth is perfect. I can drink soup for once outside. Not too salty, not too sweet, you can taste the clean healthy hearty broth taste. Only soup I'll drink, I don't even drink my soup for pho because of the msg and whatever they did or might've used.

The place has a modern interior, excellent service, and serving delicious rice noodles. The broth for the golden pickled cabbage & beef rice noodle soup, as well as the tomato & beef rice noodle soup were amazing. My kids and husband kept slurping the broth. The golden pickled cabbage & beef rice noodle soup was a tad spicy and I loved it. Another dish that we loved were their chive, shrimp, & pork handmade dumplings. They were so juicy and soft and delicate. I personally loved the golden mini buns as they reminded me of childhood. They were fried to perfection. Also the coconut desert was very good and something new that I've never had before. Dishes that we didn't care for were the spring rolls and crispy pork bites. The pork bites were not good. And the spring rolls were probably not made fresh and heated up from frozen. I would come back for the rice noodle soup and dumplings alone.

Nice small Chinese noodle shop. It's part of a brand which has an ok name. Not a traditional Chinese take out kind of place with a limited menu focused on soups. Would try again the traditional crossing the bridge noodle soup which has a clean salty taste with sliced brisket (hubby thought not salty enough and I thought it was good). Would not get again chicken and rice. Was just a safe dish with boiled or poached chicken with some vegetables and a brown sauce. Dumplings were good. Fans of certain Chinese soups should come. Clean and service was just fine.

New rice noodle shop that opened near 99 Ranch! I'd heard good things, so came by for dinner. The staff -- and most of the customers -- were speaking Chinese, which felt like a good sign for authenticity. There's plenty of seating inside and a comfortable setup. I'm actually not the biggest fan of rice noodles, but these seemed really well made -- super bouncy and springy with a nice slippery but firm texture. They didn't break when picked up and held their bite throughout the meal. Tomato and Beef Rice Noodle Soup - I expected the broth to be more beef-forward, but it was really a straight tomato broth with beef slices added on top. It took a couple bites to adjust, but overall it felt light and clean. The tomato acidity mellowed out once mixed, and the beef was thinly sliced but still tender. I think it's well made -- just not quite my flavor profile, but I'm still glad I tried it. 2.75/5 Golden Pickled Cabbage and Beef Rice Noodle Soup - Tried a few bites of this from my partner's bowl. The broth is sour from the pickled cabbage with a nice kick of spice. Also light and flavorful -- and I actually liked this one a bit more than the tomato broth, though still not a favorite overall. 2.75/5 Cucumber salad - I liked the seasoning but I feel like there wasn't enough of it. Also feel like it could've marinated into the cucumbers more to give it less of the watery taste 1.5/5

Meet Rice Noodle is a rice noodle restaurant that opened up in Fairfax in the past month!! My friend and I got dinner here this past Saturday. The servers were nice and friendly, and our food came pretty quickly after we ordered. N1. 香茄肥牛过桥米线 TOMATO & RICE NOODLE SOUP - 13.99 Initially, I wasn't sure if I wanted a tomato-based noodle soup, but it was their first rice noodle option and 1 of 3 that contained a picture. At that point, I kind of had to, right? It ended up being a fantastic choice. The broth was flavorful and savory, with hints of sweetness from the tomato. It wasn't too salty or oily, so I was able to down the whole thing without regrets. There were plenty of rice noodles were which on the softer side and soaked up the broth well. The thinly sliced beef was tender and easy to chew. There were a couple bean curds, chunks of tomatoes, and green onion garnish that added to it. Overall, phenomenal bowl of noodle soup! I will definitely be back again. It's one of the best noodle soups I've had in the area with drinkable broth that wasn't too salty or oily. My friend got the pickled version of this and that broth was delicious, too!

We had such a great time our food and drink came just in time and it tasted so good! The spring rolls were hot and delicious and all the other food we had was just as good, and I would recommend this place!

Nice new Chinese guo qiao mian rice noodle spot. The lady working was very pleasant and the food was good. The home might dumplings actually taste homemade. The noodle soups are really tasty and full of flavor. The lady advised us they use chicken stock as the base which makes sense for the flavor. We like this one. Much better than the one in falls Church.

Homestyle Chinese "my-seen" noodles with the perfect chewy, springy texture (think bún bò Huế vibes). Small menu, modern space, friendly staff, and better value than Yu's and A&Jnoodle.

The place is new and the ambiance is pretty basic. When we arrived during lunchtime on a weekend, there's only one overwhelmed waitress with no clean table. There were other customers occupying 3 tables in the restaurant. Other tables are dirty and we had to wait for our table to be cleaned. The food was delicious especially if you like soup noodles and fried meat strips. The price won't burn a hole in your pocket. Overall it's a decent meal for the price.

This is our second visit to Meet Rice Noodle, and the food is just as good as the first time! We ordered the Golden Pickled Cabbage & Beef Rice Noodle Soup, Chicken & Pork Stomach Rice Noodle Soup, Pickled Fish Rice Noodle Soup, and Braised Beef Rice Noodle Soup. The portions for the noodle soups are generous, and each bowl was flavorful and satisfying. We also tried the Popcorn Chicken, Crispy Pork Bites, and Golden Mini Buns. Everything came out in good timing, hot, and delicious. On top of the great food, the service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was warm and comfortable. We'll definitely come back again soon!

I'm so excited to I've been trying a few noodle places around here, but something always felt like it was missing -- until now. The noodles here seriously hit the spot. Everything was super flavorful and just what I'd been craving. Can't wait to come back and try more!

Wow! I've been on the hunt for authentic Chinese noodles and this place hit the spot. I love their focus on the noodles and soup and letting the subtle flavors come out as you eat it. Also had the popcorn chicken which was a great hit with the kids as well. 100% will be back!

The freshly made soup is very delicious, and the noodles have great chewiness. The taste is excellent, and I really enjoyed it. The environment and the service attitude are also great. I will definitely go again next time.

Yup. This place is legit. Ordered takeout from here 3x already and we love it. Perfectly seasoned, authentic, and prices are very reasonable. Will be ordering from here every few weeks if this quality remains.
