Meet Rice

We order from here at least once per week, the food is great! They are also usually very quick. I took off one star because to order delivery cost at least $11 (delivery charge, “service fee,” credit card fee, and driver tip) which is outrageous for a $30 order.

We just ordered food from Meet Rice and we never will again. The sweet and sour chicken was super tough and rice very bland (with hair in it). We will stick to our usual spot, Red Chopsticks. We should not have experimented.

Came here because my go to spot Red Chopsticks is closed on Mondays. Extremely disappointed. The food is not fresh, all definitely old. You can tell the egg rolls were fried multiple times and stale. The chicken was dry and hard.

Ordered for delivery. Food arrived fast and it was hot. That’s where the good part ends. Sesame chicken was hard as rock and not edible. Boneless spare ribs were mostly burnt and stale. Food was definitely not fresh at all. Ended up tossing it all in the garbage. Also wanted to add that the little food I ate from this order made me ill. Taking the loss on this one. Place was great when it opened and I ordered weekly. What has also caught my attention lately is that delivery orders are unrealistically fast if food is prepared fresh. Seems like cooked food sits around and just gets sauced once you place an order (piping hot sauce and fresh seeds on stale dry chicken). Will never order from here again.

They are consistently excellent! Quality of food is great. They and Red Chopsticks are my faves for takeout!

Good Chinese food. Fast, friendly service. Delivery quick and effective. Food always comes well prepared and fresh. Always hot and delicious. Has a website where you can customize your orders and order easily. Expansive menu. One of my go to Chinese restaurants. Good food. Good service. 5 stars easily. Closed on Tuesdays but if I want Chinese food on a Tuesday, there's many other great options, so I'm okay with that.

Well; excellent what else I can asking: all the above. Cook right, presentation right, tastes right, so far right. Not lot of sauce 💧 on the right Chichén broccoli 🥦, right👍🏼 & thanks for that. Light oil. Right. And most of restaurants small complementary gifts with your food combo. Sorry not picture 📱 got hungry 😋.

First time trying Meet Rice in Massapequa, very tasty food. We order a few different dishes and everyone was delicious. Delivery service was very good. Prices are very fair and definitely will be ordering again.

Absolutely love Meet Rice. They have the best Chicken dumplings in hot sesame sauce (Peanut Butter ) Also make them with wontons or shrimp. We ordered the boneless spare ribs with friend rice with extra egg. Everything was delicious. Great Chinese food and always delicious.

Good, clean takeout Chinese food can be a tricky find with so many places to choose from. Meet Rice does a great job. Their dumplings are home made, egg rolls are crisp and not greasy. The chicken dishes I've tried the chicken is clean, nice pieces of chicken and not the crap you've seen at other places. The portions are perfect. All in all I have no complaints. We will be back many times. Thank you Meet Rice.

Good clean Thai food with some great dumplings. Did New years Eve take out from here and was very happy with everything. Dumplings were cooked perfectly, and I'd highly recommend the spicy peanut sauce. Spring rolls and pork bun were also tasty. Food was delivered right on time.

Chinese food is a huge local debate. This spot is consistently amazing! Quick, friendly service accompanied by fantastic food. Their Soups are amazing.

Was in the area visiting family and wanted good Chinese. Was told about Meet Rice and have it a try. Glad we did. Looks like your typical take out place. Have tables to eat there but no one was eating in when I was there. The food was fantastic. Had orange beef which was very flavorful. Wontons in peanut sauce was delicious. Looking forward to going again and trying new dishes

I am SO happy i finally found a fantastic chinese takeout by me. I have been looking around for some really good chinese and craving lo mein. I called to place an order for pickup and the man who answered was super nice. Here is my review of the food! veg lo mein- was super tasty plentiful vegetables was not greasy what so ever egg roll - just the perfect crunch nicely fried General toas chicken- huge pieces of fresh chicken no mystery flavors or meat. Just the right amount of spice and sauce pork fried rice - VERY good great flavor and not greasy Prices are great This is exactly how i like my Chinese I will 100% be back soon!!!

Delicious!!! Excellent Chinese food. They use the highest quality of meat in the chicken with broccoli so you don't end up with those bad bouncy pieces. The sauce is different but really good (could use a bit more sauce) if you like it with a lot then ask for extra sauce. Rice is great and so are the egg rolls and spring rolls. Definitely our new go-to Chinese place! Try it and it will be yours too!!!

I;ve never had any dish from Meet Rice that wasn't delicious... but there are some highlights worth pointing to. First... order their noodle soups! There are several flavors... I happen to favor the roast pork, which comes with baby bok choy, a choice of wonton or dumpling and your choice of noodle. I love their udon... I get it every time! Recently ordered Honey Chicken for the first time. Why had I waited??? All white meat in a nice, crispy coating... and coated in, well... honey... and I guess something else. It wasn't too sweet. It was.... freakin' great!

Food is always delicious and the staff is very nice. Always ask for the homemade duck sauce

When ordering online they do not inform you of the wait. Waited 85 mins for order. Called up, person on the phone was not helpful and had slight attitude Dumplings in peanut sauce were good. Sesame chicken was good. Shrimp with broccoli was average. Hot and Spicy pork was not good, basically all vegetables with very little pork and there was nothing hot and spicy about it. Kids wanted plain lo mein, which is not on the menu so I ordered the chicken lo mein with no chicken. I got a tub of veggies with no noodles, not sure how they got that one messed up. Over all not impressed, stick to Da Hang on Broadway, much better and consistent.

We ordered delivery on Sunday and told them ahead of time we had $100 bill for change. My total came to $26. I thought I was given a $50 and $20 then $4 singles but when I came inside to count it was 2 $20s. I called right away to explain and I was told I was wrong and the delivery driver gave me the right change. I even checked my ring camera for proof that I was given 2 $20s and $4 singles and they would not hear what I had to say. I wasn't upset about the error b/c mistakes happen but I thought they would fix it and give me my right change but that fact that they argued with me I will never return and would like others to know. So now I basically paid $56 for my $26 order and got very rude customer service.

Holy "bleep" this place is good! For some reason unknown to me, the Chinese take out restaurants near me that I once liked go through a cycle of being very good to good to blahhhh. I hate when you get pasty, rubbery tasting General Tzau or Sessme chicken. My son told me about "Meet Rice"and that it was good tasting, seasoned to your choice with meats and vegetables that were tasty and prepared very well. He was not wrong! While there are about a dozen closer to my house, meet rice is now our number one choice. You will not be disappointed. I will give a 1 year update to see if it stays the same, or slips down that slippery cost saving slope so many seem to follow.

We are regular customers and typically have our food delivered. Just want to say... your food was always good, but lately, your food is even better. Right now, what is setting you apart from the other take-out places (for us, anyway) is the crabmeat cheese fried wonton and the steamed shrimp dumpling--just delicious, and a cut above everyone else. Additionally, delivery is consistently prompt and food is hot, and the young gentleman on the phone is the best!

Meet Rice, a Chinese food place, left much to be desired. The service was slow, and the seafood and shrimp dumpling soup tasted bland, like dirty water. I wouldn't recommend it for those looking for a flavorful Chinese dining experience.

So .... really been waiting .... You know what I mean .... New place opens and it's great for a few months and then BAM !!!! It goes downhill fast. That's NOT the case with MEET RICE. Loved them for the day they opened the doors .... really really good at a fair price. Everything we've tried -- Spareribs (well done of course), eggroll, shrimp with string beans and garlic sauce.... is top notch. Fours stars because they really need a dine in option. Highly recommend

Coming from the city where there are options in every block this food is amazing! They have great customer service and it shows.

Such a great meal at Meet Rice! They opened fairly recently and I am so very happy they did. We have decent Asian cuisine near us but this place is really top notch! We decided to go with 3 dishes and take advantage of the Thai options. We got Thai udon with Chicken, Shrimp and chicken Szechuan and Thai cashew shrimp. All three dishes were really good! Nothing was drowning in too much sauce and the flavor was just outstanding. The jumbo shrimp were plentiful and the veggies were cooked to perfection. Even the cashews were roasted which really made the dish even better! The staff was great too, I had some questions on menu items and they were able to give me a thorough description. And we were given a pretty decent waiting time after ordering over the phone. I am definitely a fan of this amazing restaurant! I can't wait to try some other dishes!

We finally have a great new Chinese restaurant in Massapequa, the local place has gone down the drain since venturing into other franchises. I was told about this place and gave it a shot and my family absolutely loved the freshness and quality of food.

As far as Asian food goes, this does it for me. Good food, good service, good quality, no complaints.

ok..i dont usually go out of my way to leave a review on the "inteweb", but in this case i was compelled to. I have ordered from "Meet Rice" a few times since they opened and i have yet to be disappointed. The product they put out is outstanding as good as any Chinese food you would get in a fancy sit down premier Chinese restaurant. Last nights pick was Ginger baby bok choy w/ shrimp.. i was blown away by this dish the moment i took the cover off the container and smelled the fresh scent of ginger while staring at some beautiful plump juicy shrimp ( a lot of them) nestled on top of a generous portion of of vibrant green baby bok choy and scallion in a wonderful light sauce.. the shrimp were so flavorful and had the very lightest almost imperceptible amount batter on them that added so much to their amazing taste and texture.. the bok coy were cooked perfect.. crunchy goodness and delicious.. a perfect compliment to the shrimp in a delicious non greasy light sauce.. this dish is the real deal folks.. our egg rolls were as crispy and flavorful as you could ever get also.. i have had other dishes at meet rice including the noodle with shrimp dumpling and roast pork soup and the " 4 seasons".. along with some other typical stuff like lo mein.. etc.. ..it has all been very very good...i want to try some of the Thai dishes next. on top of all that the people are very nice and the delivery time has been very fast compared to others.. all in all if you have not tried this place ..please do!.. others have tried to make a go of this location since the popular Tina sold a few years ago.. they failed because they sucked.. i had my go to place, but meet rice have won me over..good for them. note to owners: please keep the product up to your current standards and success is yours!!

Great service! I Had my directions onto the side of the house & I had delivery & added on which was correct... I've had issues before but I'm glad everything was ordered. Spare/ ribs well done & the rest cooked perfectly. lately I feel delivery is to "new normal" with the steamed chicken the deal .....& They seam to keep it in the family & clean fresh food , - meet the rice!

I got the coconut chicken combo. The rice was great but there was very little chicken and just a ton of vegetables. Someone else ordered the general tsos combo and there was a hair in it. We also ordered a sautéed broccoli with brown sauce and there was very little sauce. Overall the food was decent just a ton of little things adding up to a below average meal.

Food was exceptional will definitely order again only pick it up grub hub way to expensive

I have been wanting to try Meet Rice for some time now. Wow...so happy I did. I kept it easy and ordered something I normally get at other places for comparison purposes; chicken and broccoli in garlic sauce. First off, the freshness of the sauce and flavor of the heat was delicious. Very clean tasting sauce (not thick like other places). The pork fried rice very very fresh - not like it's been sitting in a pot waiting!!! The egg roll was an egg roll actually containing the sweet cabbage and pork with a beautiful crispy exterior. The lady behind the counter was very kind and courteous. When I told her it was my first time she said she hoped I liked it. Well...I did prompting me to write this review. If you are reading this - I will be back!!! The inside was very clean and comfortable.

I think this may be the best takeout in town (and that's saying a lot since I feel like we have one or two on each block) We ordered the beef and broccoli, sesame chicken, dumplings and shrimp chow fun. All of the meats were not greasy at all, the dumplings weren't overly breaded. I think the shrimp chow fun was good but it wasn't my favorite.

Ordered from here for the first time on NYE and loved it! Crab rangooooons (tik tok made me crave them) we're great, scallion pancakes weren't too greasy. Had orange chicken, sweet and sour, moo goo tai pan, lo mein, it was all great. Also felt like it was slightly less expensive then other places. We had leftover for days. Can't wait to try more stuff

Really love this place. I've ordered a few times off door dash and have tried a bunch of different dishes. I enjoy the roast pork noodle soup with udon noodles ! Also love that they have Thai dishes as well. Everything I have ordered was delicious and also large portions!

we've ordered from here a few times already and for the most part everything was good. the mei fun noodles were enjoyed by all. sesame chicken was also tasty and fresh. what is great is that the food is not over salted. the only pass we're the vegetable spring rolls as they lacked flavor. the menu is interesting and i want to try other dishes.

Super clean and modern dining experience. Food is amazing and fresh! Had a roast pork and shrimp wonton soup with a side of rice. Closest to actual HK food I've ever had here in the states. Can't wait to eat here again! Love it.

Excellent Chinese food. We have been here three times now and every time it's been beyond delicious. All white meet chicken on their meals...it's a great addition to the neighborhood and now outranks my old favorite Chinese food restaurant. Amazing!

This has become me and my entire family's go to spot for Chinese food. The food is always fresh and delivered quickly. The steamed dumplings and wonton egg drop soup has always been our measuring stick, this place sets the bar high. A+++

Excellent food quality. Super clean. Food to-go packed well. Jen's has been my go-to for long time, but feel their quality has slipped recently. I gave this new place a try and yet have yet to be disappointed.

Great food but if you order on line tack at least a half hour to the estimated time. This is the second time I ordered and the food is at least an hour to deliver. Correction, I've been waiting for an hour and 15 minutes now. 45 minutes after the supposed delivery time.

This restaurant's best offering is their selection of soups. Try the Roast Pork Noodle Soup first; then, move on to Roast Pork and Dumpling soup. Choose you favorite noodle.

This is one of the best Chinese food joints I've had in a long time. I'm glad I found this place. The noodle soup is out of this world.

We had the Thai basil chicken, which was very delicious. We also had the wontons in sesame sauce (which is a sort of spicy peanut-buttery sauce), which was also delicious. The hot and sour soup was very good, but it could have been spicier. I will definitely be trying other things on their menu.

My husband and I have been looking for a really good Chinese food place for years. Meet Rice is not only really good. It is the best Chinese food I had ever had!

I ordered through DoorDash directions were followed, and I got the sesame shrimp with shrimp egg rolls. Food arrived hot, everything tasted great. Definitely going to order again!!
