Asian market with a wide selection of food, there is an area with hot food, pastries, as well as sushi. There is also a dining area in the store which is perfect for those who want to stop by for a quick bite but don’t want to eat in the car. Checkout lines move fast and the people here are very friendly. In the back there are bathrooms which stay very clean throughout the tens of times I have been here. Would recommend!

The store has a large selection of grocery and hot bar / premade food options. Lots of parking too and easy to get in/out. Wish they had more skincare and beauty items.

Tons of prepared foods, both hot and cold, and a large area to eat them. It's more lively on the weekends, so you may see more prepared food options when the crowds are at their peak. Large gimbap selection. However there is no public bathroom.

A small, clean Korean grocery store that does not sell basil or parsley. The prepared, to-go items are so-so. Eating at a Korean restaurant instead will provide fresher and better texture dishes. This is a nice little grocery store that provides all the ingredients for cooking, particularly, Korean food. A small corner area for eating is convenient for those with kids in tow. Prices are reasonable.

Very clean and organized store! Won’t have what you’ve come to expect at your traditional Korean market, but surely can find what you need but not your household favorites. Produce seems very fresh, however meat seemed limited options. Overall a decent store, not my first choice but if I’m in the area would surely stop by.

Relatively new and clean Korean/Asian super market I’ve been to in the Santa Clara county. They have a wide range of fruits, veggies, meat and frozen products. They had good deals during their grand opening. I love there marketplace and bakery products. Really fresh and tasty.

Very clean and nice Korean grocery supermarket in Silicon Valley area. Lots of Korean noodle are on sale. Their bakery and fresh Korean food deli are exceptional. Extremely worthwhile. Store is exceptionally high quality with its neatness. Staffs are kind and lots of parking spaces. Its Korean deli selection is the widest in the bay area.

So amazing to have a mega mart in East Palo Alto now! great food and options! Easy parking and lots of shopping options nearby as well.

Stopped to get some produce and kimbap. Kimbap sale was so popular there was no rolls left! Thankfully found a selection of other great items including ready-to-go bibimbap toppings to add to homemade rice at at home. Shop was clean, queues were fast, staff was kind & quick with check-outs. Bonus: Try their bakery's Soboro bread - it's the best mash-up of Korean flavors in the shape & profile of a Mexican concha (pan dulce), with filling!

Poor or non-existent customer service This place was much better when it was K-Market. Food: I went there today at 6 pm on a Saturday. There were NO fried chicken/wings at all. Such a disappointment, K-Market always had those tubs of warm chicken. They did have boneless chicken which is either plain or coated with a sweet sour sauce, gross and not tasty. Room temperature, is that safe?0 They had NO bonchons either unless you count the big jars of sad tasting kim chi. And there were NO employees in the take home food area, zero. Cashiers: service sucked. Cashier 0105 (what's her name?, no name tag, short Latina with makeup on and tattoos on arm): made me wait 10" while the EBT customer in front of me had some sort of discrepancy that made the older Latina cashiers in the next check stand abandon her own customer to figure out what to do. Poor guy in the next check stand and I looked at each other like wtf is going on?). Cashier 0105 gives me no greeting, no welcome smile, no apology for the wait, no saying "thank you" as she hands me the receipt, nada talk. Hates her job I guess. Don't shop here. The food isn't good and the service is poor.

Great supermarket for most Asian foods and snacks! They have the viral mango ice cream here along with grape flavor. Lots of deals here as well. Quick and easy place to grab some Korean dishes. Food in the deli section has been hit or miss for me. The kimbap so far has the best value and tastes the best. Huge portion and assembled well with bulgogi. The boneless crispy chicken has a good sauce to it and if you come when it comes out, it will still have a slight crisp to it. Hold wells for a bit but do get soggy. I'd avoid the nigiri and unagi here. The salmon didn't have much taste and is just texture. The unagi was very tough and chewy with some pieces having bones in them. The rice is a bit hard. Didn't expect much from grocery market sushi but still fell below my expectations. The Dubai chocolate sulpang was delicious. Creamy and love the crispy pieces on top. They have a drinks section as well that I'll try next time.

So I'm gluten free, but absolutely love korean food. I love that they have gluten free gochujang in stock. Also the BAKERY'S CAKES ARE MADE WITHOUT GLUTEN! Very exciting. I have yet to try but I am planning on it.

Pretty decent Korean market. This market is where I found the viral sweet potato bread. Not sure how long it's been in the freezer because there was some slight freezer burn when I opened the package. They also have a hot food section. In the evenings, some items will go at a discounted price. During my first time shopping here, I didn't know why everyone was just waiting around. Turns out, customers are waiting around for the prices to drop. And just like that, most of the top selections will be emptied out of the shelves fast.

I only have amazing great things to say about Mega Mart Korean grocery store in Sunnyvale. It's the best place for Korean ingredients and deli foods. Their banchan side dishes are always so much better in taste and flavors compared to Hankook Supermarket or HMart locations. Mega Mart Fremont looks dead and things don't seem fresh nowadays. Mega Mart is different and well operated. I made my own banchans by purchasing groceries here. Sauces/mixes are always available. Love buying soup packets too. Absolutely delicious. I was craving for the braised potatoes too, so I made my own at home. They rarely serve them at smaller Korean restaurants nowadays. Love grocery shopping here and prices are decent. Varieties keep me coming back. I'll be back again and hope they never shutdown this location. Staffs are still efficient and helpful. The location is always nicely maintained and organized. Food deli area is an excellent spot with place to sit inside too. You can purchase pastries and beverages over the counter as well. I love Korean groceries and foods. Perfect for my monthly stops.

Super clean store. Everything is well organized. The only thing I didn't care for was the food. Large variety of Korean food and sides. Ended up getting bulgogi kimchi fried rice and it tasted okay... but the texture- it's slimy which was super weird so I ended up tossing it. Made that day. Flavored wings are okay nothing to write home about.

This spot is like Korean food take out heaven! We got the vegetarian Kimbap, gyoza, and radish with kimchi. It was a fulfilling meal. Their ready to eat food options are expansive and they keep refilling it too! The take out food was affordable. I want to try some of their pastries next.

This location honestly makes the Fremont store look so bad. This Mega Mart is actually of the right size, it's comparable to an H Mart. The aisles were neatly organized, clean, got sampling stations here and there (usually by the freezers). The prices aren't too crazy either, they have deals from time to time, just watch out for those yellow tags. MM is almost like my go to when it comes to green onions, tofu, noodles, and frozen kimbaps. Those of you who are only about the Trader Joe's frozen kimbap is sleeping on the selection here. Like the other MM location, they have a deli and bakery on the far end. Their deli selection has kimbap, japchae, variety of rice bowls, "fried" chicken (they're more on the soggy side), banchan galore, dumplings, bibimbap, and sushi. Unlike Japanese supermarkets, they just have all day 30% off or $10 flat on certain items. I've seen that deal on rice, noodles, and sushi, pretty good for a quick grab and go meal. Their bakery has prepackaged breads and cakes. They got those fancy fruit sandos, mochi breads, cream breads. They're okay, I feel like I've had better at standalone bakeries for sure, but some days you just can't say no to a cute little corn shaped mochi bun.

Check out their weekly flyer on their website. The deals of the week start every Friday. And download their app and sign up for their rewards stamp card, might as well. The points don't expire that I know of. Produce: it's a hit or miss with quality. If it's at the end of the week of the flyer or first day, the vegetables tend to be wilted, soft. I'm not sure what up with their chopped garlic lately either. The containers are expanded, bulged. Meats: Generally has good color, very rarely have I seen old meats in the display. It's decent. Seafood: I've only tried their raw salmon, but it was oh so good. I got it on multiple trips. (Get some when they're on sale, 20% off!) Ready foods: So much to choose from. Sushi- California rolls, tuna rolls, tempura rolls, rolls with eel on top. They have a pretty good selection, and sashimi platters. Rice bowls - they have eel, katsu, salmon, beef. It will come with a layer of cabbage as well. They have fried chicken, corndogs, takoyaki, croquettes, kimbap. So many goodies in the back left corner when you walk in. (Try them out weekly, see what's on sale!) Others: Great selection of Korean products, always very clean and stocked. They always have what I'm looking for in Korean ingredients. Bakery: Great selection as well, breads, buns, cream puffs, cakes, haven't had a chance to try the cakes. Super easy to stop by for lunch if you're close by - or a drink and snack.

I love H-Mart. But I think I love this place even more! They just have so many things here, and I feel like I can explore for a while. There are so many things I want to try. I really love their ready meals at the deli. Their bulgogi is so good! They have so many different options to choose from, especially on weekends! They even have a sushi section, but I haven't tried their other meals yet. However, the hot meals are definitely a plus. Their bakery is pretty tasty as well. They even have those viral vegetable mochi, like the purple potato, corn, and chestnut, already made. I definitely bought some of those. Some of their baked goods are too cute. It definitely gets busy here on weekends, but it's not that bad. I will definitely keep coming back here.

I think I wouldn't buy any hot food from them again. The fried rice looked amazing, but when I transferred it to a bowl, it's clearly too much oil. I have a whole tablespoon of this when I transferred it out to a bowl. Then when I finished, there's still more oil dripping. This is not good for your health, don't recommend this item. Store is clean, organized. Love the purple potato pastry.

Inexpensive store with tiny beautiful items inside. Fruits are fresh , it's a very organize store.

They have a hug Korean Market with amazing fresh food, bakery and beverage selection. It's a must try if you're in the area. They also have marinated meat you can buy and grill on your own. My fav is their daily selection of affordable sushi to go!

This store is so clean, and organized! It was a great shopping experience. Everything is low-priced, and there are sales items all throughout the store. They even have prepared meals and sushi too, along with a coffee bar and an area to sit down and eat it. Oh, BTW the sushi is marked down 50% after 7pm to ensure it's all sold by the end of day. Watch out for the stocker, they will bump into you and stand in your way while stocking the shelves. On a good note..... The food servers and cashiers are all friendly.

I love this market and their variety of items. Their prices are a bit cheaper than H Mart so for that, I frequent here more. They have fresh dubai chocolates and overall what you can expect to find at a korean market.

We had been a huge fan of the bakery inside this Mega Mart. However, we have noticed the pies/ cake slices have gotten much smaller recently probably due to the tariffs and/or price increases that you are seeing in other things too. We used to always get a piece of pie of a slice of cake to share when we come here for grocery shopping, but we may not be able to do it every visit now with the price jump/ pastries getting smaller in size, which makes it less worthwhile. The taste is always great and not too sweet though, so I appreciate that!

Super cute market ! Love that there's such variety all packed in this place: skincare, bakery, sushi, sashimi, deli wth plenty of ready to go food, to a mini restaurant inside! The cashier was friendly. Def coming back even if it's far - it's worth it. I wish HMart was like this... ahem, they need to step up their game.

Quality/Quantity - Day one - Got some 50% off deli foods. Soup, kimbops, etc. Quality reflected the price, LOL. Day 2 - We got here later so they were all sold out, and I was craving that 50% off squid kimbap!! Anyways, In N Out, here I come. Atmosphere - Crazy busy when they first opened. Open 7 days a week from 8am to 9pm. Plenty of parking now. Again, when they first opened, we had to fight for a space. Service - N/A, self service today. Oh, well the checkout was quick and smooth. Price - 50% off deli foods after 7pm; inexpensive, but you also get what you pay for. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1975 and with your franchise system and all your other brands, companies, etc. 2001 - Mega Mart, currently 6 in the US.

I've always liked H-Mart, but I think I might like Mega Mart even more. There's just so much to see here, and it's easy to spend a good amount of time browsing all the different sections. There are still a lot of things I want to try. The ready made meals at the deli are great especially the bulgogi. It was really tasty, and they offer a lot of options, especially on the weekends. The hot meals are definitely a nice bonus. Their bakery is also worth checking out. They had those popular vegetable mochis like purple potato, corn, and chestnut already made, so I picked up a few. A lot of their baked goods are really cute too.

My first visit to Mega Mart was not fulfilling, as most of the hot foods were already sold out. The second visit was a little bit better with more selection to choose from. Both of these visits were during the evenings. I decided to visit Mega Mart again, but in the AM, and aaaah I was in heaven~ so much fooddddd. I believe some food comes out at different times since I didn't see the bento box from my previous visit. Bookmarking this place for hot Korean food to go!

Packed market with limited parking. They pretty much have good buys. Had to stop and buy some snacks. Dubai chocolates and baked goods. Service was fast but long lines that went pretty quick.

Only been here one other time because I saw that they had Dubai chocolate. Finally got the chance to stop by again to go through the store and check out what they have. The pricing on daily groceries are significantly cheaper than store like H-Mart or 99 Ranch. In addition, they have four to five rows of frozen fridges from fish to other frozen foods. I would say the store itself seems a bit smaller but nonetheless the options are endless! If you're in Santa Clara, definitely stop by to expand your options!

I really love the selections at Mega Mart! The produce is fresh and affordable. There's a wide selection of fresh and frozen meat to fulfill all your cooking needs. I usually like to roam the aisles to see what they have to offer. The staff is friendly and helpful too. The best part is the premade food section! Especially, coming after 7pm when the food is 50% off. There's plenty goodies to grab for dinner!

I've honestly always thought that H-Mart is the GO TO if any Korean groceries are needed, but MY GOD was I wrong. After going to Mega Mart the entire trajectory of my life has been changed and only makes me wish that we had one of these chains in SoCal. It's not only a market, but there's a bakery with cute cakes, pastries, hot K-food like corn dogs, etc., sandwiches, and even an instant noodle/ramyun bar (I'm a SUCKER for these, even though I know that I can just make them at home). We were there later in the evening so they were already closed, but seeing what they had, my mind was blown. Super cute bear and bunny cookies, a cute carrot savory pastry that is just so genius in design, soju cakes, flowery decorated cupcakes and cute creampuffs, potato and egg salad sandwiches, ready to eat bentos and rice bowls, sushi and kimbap, and so much more. Would be a great place to swing by for a fast snack or to get lunch for later/another day. They have a pretty decent selection of snacks, sweets, instant noodles, home goods, produce, meats and seafood (like you'd find at any Korean market). They even have prepackaged sets of seafood and meats meant for hot pots and stews. I've even found some instant noodles that I have never seen before in markets (the strawberry noodles, yet I still can't find my Tom Yum Buldak)... However, $2.99 for a pack of Shin Ramyun is the LOWEST that I've ever seen it at, along with a bunch of other flavors that would at least be $4-5 a pack, this is the lowest prices I've seen. Additionally, there were drinks and other snacks that I haven't seen at other Asian markets either. Big W and I'd love to swing by again next time I'm in NorCal, or even better, they decide to expand to SoCal.

This is a Korean grocery store nicely laid out like Hmart but slightly smaller however they still have a bakery section, cooked food section on top of the regular stuff you can buy at the grocery. For similar products, it is slightly cheaper than Hmart but that doesn't mean their selections or store was inferior to their rival. It was clean inside and the products were neatly displayed. I even got to try some of their bakery samples which I never see at HMART

one of my favorite new markets to shop at! its a little further out for me, but the prices are really unbeatable. It's a Korean grocery store, so it has the korean household staples and more! I do believe they have a lot more snacks and noodles that other stores do not have, or they are cheaper! I once found a bag of chips that was unbranded and Costco literally had the same thing a week later, but BRANDED and it was more expensive. same with shin ramen and banana milk! I love their clean and organized fresh produce section, and they have a large freezer and refrigerated section full of asian food, snacks, dessert and kimchi! unfortunately they do no have a seafood section like most asian grocery stores, but I did see fresh fish on display once. They also have display of Korean skincare too They have some of the trendy new items and most of them always in stock. Their prepared food section is one of my favorite section. The bakery has all the new trendy food, different pastries, croquettes, cream puffs etc. It also has decorated cakes that are definitely on my list to get. there is even a cake decorated with sojuuuu! Their hot and cold food section is a game changer for lunch and dinner! They have fresh fried chicken coming out every few hours! and so funny -- they also put beer combo for all the kdrama watching people lolol. They also have lunch deals such as bulgogi, tonkatsu or unagi bowl, buns, bossam lunch pack, ttebokki, spicy fish cake stew, etc. They also will mark it down half or 30% off around 5-6pm. They also make their kimbap and sushi in house as well. Lots of sashimi and roll options, as well as japchae and other banchan. This place has huge parking lot, so no fighting for spots. please sign up for their rewards program! you get points and you can get some $$ off once you get to a certain point level.

Before Mega Mart, this place used to be the New Seasons Market. Mega Mart is a Korean grocery store that also has sushi, kimbap, stews, KFC, Jap Chae, etc. This particular store has one of the largest selections of prepared Korean food! Clean, air-conditioned store with no foul smell. It also has a dining area when you can sit and enjoy your hot meal.

When it comes down to quality and price Mega Mart would be my first choice as the best Korean supermarket in the South Bay. They have a tremendous 30% savings on kimbaps, japchae, bibimbap, ttekobokki, kimchi pancake/rice and side dishes commonly known as banchan they even have food court far cheaper than dining out at a Korean restaurants. They have fresh produce, veggies and fruits as Bro and I would spend alot on food, beer and snacks best of all it wasn't even crowded on a Friday afternoon though it was still raining. There are so many Korean restaurants, cafes, bakery shop and business in an area known as Koreatown along El Camino that borders between Santa Clara and Sunnyvale.

Bought a strawberry sando and it didn't disappoint. First off, I love strawberries and whipped cream! This sandwich was made with soft bread, strawberries, and whipped cream. YUM! The cream was slightly sweet and the strawberries were perfectly ripe. It came as a diagonally cut sandwich which was the perfect portion for a small and fluffy dessert.

Love the variety of products available at this Korean supermarket. Keep an eye out for items on sale as the prices are pretty good at those times! Store is always well lit, clean, and well organized. Staff/cashiers at the checkout lines are always super friendly and quick at checking customers out.

Store doesn't look clean, the food at Hancook is way better and the customer service sucks. My daughter cut her finger on the metal bar when grabbing a bag of chips. I asked for a bandaid as she was bleeding along with an alcohol wipe or something to disinfect. The staff there just looked at each other and shrugged. Finally got the attention of a 'manager' who directed someone to grab a band aid. They disappeared and after 5 minutes no show. I then asked the cashier to call and she just shrugged. Horrible customer service. I wanted to check out this store but will never return. They can't even complete a simple task of helping a customer. If someone gets hurt in your store you should make sure issues are resolved.

been going to hankook market for decades for the selection and prices, but finding mega mart has it's own advantages...the pre-cooked hot and cold food items is massive...while a traditional korean market food court isn't available, the number of choices and variety is enormous...the prices are extremely reasonable...$5.99 dukbokee!...everything from blood sausages to bibimbap is available at very reasonable prices...sushi and rolls too...pig feet and pork belly wraps...pick your food items...take it to the regular cash register line to pay...take your food to the self-seating tables in the corner area...the only counter order they have is for coffee and drinks...can't pay for food items there...for the rest of the market, it has most of the prepackaged food items...the sale prices are really good and sometimes better than hankook...

Tried few items from the deli and they were not good. Got the fried chicken (tasted okay), kimbap (dry), Kimchee fried rice (super oily), and pork kimchee steam bun (tasted weird). Grocery is not fresh. I brought the jujube and it was dry....

Has everything I need and more! Came around 7pm and some of the pastries and hot foods were sold at 50% off! Bought some kimbab, these cute cream puff sandwiches (?), and the viral mochi bread! I wish I could've had all the pastries.... They were adorable and looked delicious. Definitely come here for any Korean ingredients you need, including pre-sliced and marinated Korean BBQ meat or shabu shabu meat

Why hasn't anyone told me about the gluten free options here?? Specifically the desserts. The Basquia Bakery mostly uses gluten free flour (gf) or rice flour. They label it nicely too. Their cakes are amazing too. I actually was given a taste at a bday party and decided to deal with the stomach ache and eat the whole slice because it tasted great and was an amazing texture. Wasn't until after someone told me it was rice flour and gluten free, that my eyes widened. So here I am buying desserts to eat while the wife and I watch the season finale of The Great British Baking Show

Man! I thought the Fremont Mega Mart was pretty cool, but this Sunnyvale Mega Mart is such a vibe!! It's darker with awesome Korean music playing. I ended up buying things I didn't know I needed (story of my life, especially at Target.. ) They food court is so nice and they have the Dubai Chocolate, and it's affordable!! I wasn't able to drive to Concord and Sacramento for the candies. The Dubai chocolate bar ranges from $6.99- $19.99, the $19.99 is bigger than my hand.

Can't believe I didn't know this store existed until now! Went here due to the hype over the corn mochi - they have a bakery inside the store that has two packs of mochi of different types. I went in the evening, and although the bakery counter was closed, the packs of mochi and other goodies were still out for sale. I got the pack with the corn mochi (the other mochi is potato). I thought the mochi would only look like the food that it's shaped as, but both had a pretty strong flavor of its respective food item. Corn lovers must try this mochi! I love potato, but the potato flavor in this mochi tasted almost too earthy, so I'd probably try a different flavor next time. This grocery store also has a deli where they discount their food 50% off ~7pm. Pretty good deal for some fried chicken, kimbap, sushi, etc.

We need more Mega Marts! Mainly a korean grocery store, but everything is very reasonably priced. We added everything we wanted and walked out paying ~$50. At Mitsuwa, you can shop carefully and end up paying ~$100. Thank you!

It has become one of my official go-tos. I'm clueless when it comes to Korean recipes. They just make things easier! The highlight for me is their deli. From kimchi to japchae and even Korean corn dogs they have it! Are you a fan of Korean chicken wings? I sure am. You can skip all the restaurants by just shopping here. My only complaint is that I have to drive a distance to get here.

This is such a huge store!! I love mega Mart. It states in its name as well mega mart heh. The store carries a vast variety of things from hot foods, cakes, sushi's, to groceries goods such as produce, ramen, curry, etc. There's always a good sale on ramen whenever I'm there. :-)

Meat look raw and fresh, beautiful marbleization. Clean and orderly, the amount of food they had there was endless Drove an hour and a half to go there to see what they had. Will come back again.

This is my favorite Korean market in the Peninsula/South Bay. It's clean, well stocked, and cheaper than HMart for the same or similar items. The meats and produce are always fresh and priced well. They also have small sushi and sashimi section, and the quality is great and very fresh. I often come here at 7pm for 50% off the hot foods - the quality is pretty good and veryyy worth it for half off. Would definitely recommend to shop here if you're in the area!

Absolute gem! Clean, great service, community feel, and organized. We could find everything we needed and felt that the selections were fresh! The hot section of food had so much variety! We couldn't help but almost buy everything we saw. Grocery prices weren't bad, and it wasn't busy on a Friday night! I really enjoyed our experience here so if you're looking for a new shopping experience, definitely check out the spot for your groceries and stop by for a hot food selection on your way out.

This is such a neat Korean grocery! Dare I say way better than H Mart?!? i love their pre cooked food!!! Their bossam really hits. That plus some ready to go banchan it's just awesome. Also loved that they have a dubai chocolate section in the bakery section

Been on a Korean food kick lately as a result of watching Kdramas. The characters are always eating Korean food, and i am always envious. You know I had to get a KBBQ grill for home use. Since buying the grill, we've been doing a lot of shopping at Korean markets. My sister lives near here, so hubby and I have been shopping here on my way to my sister's. We've used our new grill several times, and gotten our meats, banchan, seafood, vegetable, and other things like butane gas here. It's just so much cheaper to kbbq at home compared to going to restaurants. This Mega Mart is a nice size, so it's not too crowded inside. Great selection of fresh and shelf stable products. Plenty of parking as well. A great place to get all your KBBQ needs!
