Cool Off With a Paleta at These 10 Los Angeles Shops | Eater LA

"Mega Raspados lives up to its name with a massive selection of smoothies, juices, and paletas. The latter includes treats on a stick made with tequila, mamey, queso, or pistachio. If the Boyle Heights location isn’t convenient, there are six others throughout Los Angeles, including outposts in Montebello and Lynwood." - Mona Holmes

They moved next door to their previous location which is much larger. They have plenty of seating for customers and have added many more soft drink choices. They have a full size drink fridge. They have more ice cream choices since they merged with La Michoacana. They take apple pay and Samsung pay.

Bought some tostilocos and on the cueritos some had black spots, looked like mold but no good at all, had to return it at the store and showed to manager, she didn’t believe what I found. Not buying them again. They should be more careful on the products.

The raspados are yummy but pricey. A large runs $9.00. The paletas are good but they are $3.00 each.

Was in the area getting my bike fixed at oriel's and saw this little shop nearby. Decided to try the pistachio bar and my bf tried the Walnut both were bomb! Only $2.50 each and both were filled with nuts.

Paletas where good but ice cream sucks. Handicap parking, was too far from front door entrance dad struggled getting around.

Wow! I live like 3 blocks away and never knew this great ice cream shop was so close by. What an awesome variety of treats to choose from. I loved the mango ice cream. It’s fantastic. Will definitely come by again!

Customer service is alright. People have bad days, it's understandable, but the cashier's reception could have been better. It would have made us felt welcomed. First time with wife and kids and the young girls got the 3 Maria's. Three scoops of ice cream, two cookie wafers in a cone. Pretty neat. The lady behind the counter placed a lot of detail in her work. Wife, son, and I asked for ice cream bars/pops. My son went with Vanilla and he says he enjoyed it. Wife and I went with the Gansito flavored. The Gansito pop was alright. It almost tastes like it had been there for a while. Maybe it's not popular on this side of town. La Michoacana on Cesar Chavez and Soto is much more fresh! Different owners different vibes. Coming back? I won't be. I tried it though...thoughts??
