We visited this place today specifically because of its high ratings, but we were shocked by the lack of hygiene among the staff. The tall guy taking orders was touching everything—cleaning tables, rolling a cigarette, handling money—and then placed bread on a plate with his bare hands before serving it to an outdoor table.
One of the kitchen staff touched the baklava with his bare hands while serving it, then wiped his hand on the area near the bottle stand by the door to clean off the stickiness, and afterwards wiped his hand on his clothes. Another staff member scratched his head and then continued handling food.
We were really disgusted. I’m sure none of them had bad intentions, but people working in food service should be much more mindful of hygiene. These things matter.
On top of that, the köfte we ordered was completely burnt on both sides—not just one or two pieces, but every single one across all three portions. Very disappointing.
