Where to Order Chinese Food on Christmas Day | Eater Chicago

"This neighborhood spot in Edgewater serves up delicious versions of all the basics, from sesame chicken to Hunan pork and cashew shrimp. It’s also open Christmas Day, but it’s carryout and delivery only." - Aimee Levitt

Better than most lunch specials. Service was extremely quick and surprisingly a large amount of food. Egg drop soup was better than expected and the best egg roll I have had in the Chicago. Will def try lunch again and will return for dinner.

Google
If you're looking for a hearty Chinese food, with generous portions, full of flavor of love, then don't come here! I ordered the Mongolian Beef with fried rice lunch special with Egg Drop Soup and Egg Roll. Instead, I got a white Styrofoam box full of Onions, only 5 miserable pieces of beef (I counted) and bland rice cooked with one packet of soy sauce. Nothing else. No egg, no bean sprouts, not one carrot or pea in sight, morning. And I got one of the smallest, tiniest spring rolls, that ate it in 2 bites... THIS WAS A WASTE OF MONEY! NO FILLING, NO SATISFACTION, JUST FEELING LIKE I GOT RIPPED OFF. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! There's are better places in the neighborhood, with better food, value & satisfaction.

I used to live around the area and Mei Shung was always my go-to spot for delicious Chinese food. The food was a solid 10 every time. I recently returned to the neighborhood after some years and decided to revisit this place, but unfortunately, it’s not the same anymore. The food has changed — it doesn't have the same flavor or quality that I remember. It’s honestly kind of sad. The restaurant itself even feels different now, almost like it’s lost its spark. I also noticed that the older gentleman who used to run it (who I always assumed was the owner) isn’t around anymore. I think his daughter might be in charge now, and while I’m sure she’s doing her best, the food and overall atmosphere just don’t have the same charm. It’s disappointing because Mei Shung used to be a gem in the area. I hope they can get back to their old standards, but for now, I can’t say I’d recommend it like I once would have.

Google
The staff alone makes this a good place to get food. They haven't returned to dine in since covid. That's the only bad thing I can say about this place.

Google
Really delicious potstickers for a very decent price, however the service here was very lackluster to say the least. Upon arriving at the restaurant, my partner and I were not asked what we wanted to drink and were instead just given water and asked what we wanted to eat. After the meal, we were given the bill and the waitress was not there to give us change, instead she was resting in the back of the restaurant. We did go to eat a bit later in the night, so she may have been tired, but I still did not appreciate the poor service.

delicious and classic American Chinese fare. Casual environment means you can eat undisturbed

Google
Great prices for delicious food. Usually get 2 meals out of each order and it has me coming back for more. Their seaweed egg drop soup is amazing and a great way they jazzed up the soup. Very quick getting your order ready and to the point. Ideal spot for a quick pickup

Google
I didn't rate the atmosphere because it is a pickup place, not a dine-in. They closed off the dine-in area. But the Food..WOW so GOOD! The fried rice is so lightly fried and fluffy. I place the following me myself and my next-door neighbor to share. . I ordered the pork fried rice XL. Yum! It was TOO big I should have gotten the regular large size..lol next time. Fried rice with fresh white pork meat not that pinkish to reddish pieces of pork! (yeah I am from New York so this was like the truth being revealed to me on how Asian cuisine is supposed to look and taste like lol ) also ordered vegetable lo mien and garlic chicken (which comes with veggies like broccoli carrots snow peas. this place is Affordable compared to others. You get a lot of food compared to other spots here in Edgewater I will be a regular from now on. not even thinking about trying another Asian food cuisine at this moment..this immediately became a favorite! A top three on what to treat myself to eat on a Friday night/ weekend.. lol ;-) Order from there You will not be disappointed. I went in person since I don't live too far from it. haven't tried their online service yet. Thank you Mei Shung. Awesome fast service and delicious food!

Yelp
I love this restaurant although I must admit....ive only ordered take out. The mu shi chicken and chicken with string beans are two of my favorites but also their mongolian beef....well everything ive ordered ive been pleased with. I use beyond menu to order as they don't charge small family owned businesses the high rates places like uber eats charges. The owners son delivered today (dennis) and he could not have been nicer and more friendly. After knowing them more personally....the already delicious food tastes even better! Give them a chance...im sure u will be pleased!

Yelp
The dining area is closed so it's takeout only. They do have online ordering but It seemed like some information was missing so I just went there and ordered in person. Took about 15 minutes. I ordered an XL fried rice and egg rolls, both of which were quite good and enough for two meals for me. I'm not in this area very often, but I would definitely go back.

Lisa G.

Yelp
I ordered shrimp with pan fried noodles. I got some "soupy looking shrimp with soybeans and mushrooms. The noodles were not mixed with the shrimp, soybeans, mushrooms, carrots, and pea pods. The shrimps were smoochy! The fried rice was good. Never again 2 stars

Steven P.

Yelp
My favorite dish is Pork with Leeks, and the Pan fried Potstickers. Large portions at reasonable prices. No table service, takeout only. Don't be put off by the empty dining room, covid is over, this room looks like they are about to close forever. When you pick up your order and see the scattered tables and chairs you are reminded about the loss of dining out at what was a great spot.

Yelp
I was in the area the other night and realized I was very hungry and needed to eat. I had a taste for Chinese food, so I looked up restaurants on my phone and found Mei Shung. I was not aware it was takeout only that they still were not doing dine in, but that was OK. I have a lot of dietary restrictions, so ordering food is not easy for me sometimes, but the employee and I figured out something and came to an agreement where had tofu and vegetables, no soy sauce. Everything was delicious! The temperature was so hot that I had to wait a while to be able to eat my food. Being in the carry-out container, there was no way for the heat to escape, lol. But I certainly cannot complain about cold food! I will definitely will be returning to this restaurant for takeout.

Yelp
This is a tough one because the food was delicious , I had Shrimp egg foo young and Mongolian beef , delicious possibly 2 of the best I've had, I also ordered egg rolls which I'd have to say skip, surprisingly bad, small and not much effort , here's where the conflict comes in , They don't allow indoor dining , it's blocked off by random chairs ,obviously an after effect from Covid, but also, completely dirty hasn't been vacuumed in months I'd guess , since such little care is taken on the presence, makes you wonder about the food , though delicious , a bit risky , I'll give 5 stars for food and 1 star for atmosphere

Yelp
The search is over. After Wing Hoe (my former go-to) closed last year, I've been on the search for a reliable Chinese takeout place in my area (Edgewater). I've sampled at least a dozen places and concluded after 3 recent orders that Mei Shung has the most consistent and tastiest food at the most reasonable price in 60660. Here's what I like: - fresh ingredients - both traditional and popularized dishes - Good sear on pan fried items - vegetables are crisp and not overcooked - Sauces have good flavor and consistency. Not too wet, not too dry - spicy dishes are actually spicy. They also include a side of chili oil. - deep fried items are done properly and not over-saturated - orders ready fast (I live close and we pickup within 30 minutes) - a local, family run business that's been around for awhile - generous portions, a good value for the cost Thus making Mei Shung my new "official" neighborhood Chinese go-to.

Yelp
Great food fast service great place to order from , variety of menu options, best place to order on the north side of Chicago

Yelp
Food was fine. Fried rice had good flavor and the pork belly (bao) was tender, falls apart nicely. Our issue was with the service. Staff acted like they didn't want to be at work - sat at another table chatting, only coming over to bring food from the kitchen, never checked if we needed anything. One of the staff was passive aggressive when it was clear they made a mistake trying to charge my friend's credit and we asked about it. They should have come to us to tell us and ask if we could give them more time or if we wanted to pay with a different credit card or cash. I just paid cash so we could get the heck out of there.

Raquel R.

Yelp
This is still my go to carry out place for Chinese food but even more so now. I've always ordered a family dinner for 2 before and have been impressed by portion size and quality for the price. But for the first time we ordered 2 lunch specials (each comes with soup, egg roll, fried or steamed rice, and the entree) and the portions far exceeded our expectations for a very reasonable price. For less than $20 (including tax) we got enough food to cover 3 meals plus a snack not to mention the food is really, really good. If you haven't tried Mei Shung yet I recommend you at least try one of their lunch specials. Even if you don't like it (which I can't imagine) you will only be out about $9.

Jake C.

Yelp
Food was OK (a bit too heavy on the white rice and too little on the meat). The kicker is: The delivery was a nightmare...the driver spoke Chinese, and very little English. She phoned me and I told her to use the directory in the outer lobby and I'd buzz her in. She kept saying "buzz me in, buzz me in. The doorman let her in to calm things down. Once she got in she wanted to leave my food with the doorman and he told her (as did I) that she must deliver to my apartment. When she came up she was rude and unprofessional. Mei Shung....YOU LOST A CUSTOMER TODAY! Also, the order did not arrive in a timely fashion.

Elise P.

Yelp
Love this place! Generous portions, reasonably priced. We've been ordering from here for years and it's always consistent.

Yelp
Haven't eaten here in 20 years, stopped in for lunch and they are not open for dine in. Going to Chinatown!

Yelp
There dining room is still closed so I ordered my food to go. It took longer than the 15 minutes that was quoted but I didn't mind because I can tell the lady at the desk was a little overwhelmed. The food was hot and fresh. We enjoyed everything. The egg rolls were fresh and filled with plenty of shrimp and chicken. I love that the pepper steak comes with tomatoes. The egg go young was very tasty and savory and the shrimp fried rice had plenty of shrimp in it. I will definitely be back.

Aggie H.

Yelp
This has been our go-to for 10 years. Tried others and no one compares for overall taste and consistency. Having said that, not all dishes are 5-stars. My one complaint is some dishes tend to be bland. Even if the dish is listed as spicy or I request spicy...not so much. Favorites are the egg rolls, steamed pot stickers, orange beef, mongolian chicken, spicy salt basil chicken, and garlic eggplant. Hunan shrimp is also tasty. Huge portions! And in 10 years of ordering delivery I've never waited longer than 75 minutes, with most orders delivered well under 60 minutes. And always, always hot. Ah, one more complaint...yeah, they are super stingy on things like sweet/sour sauce packets. Usually get 2 per order. Last night 0 packets. Even if I request extra they don't include.

Yelp
Classic old school Chinese restaurant. We got delivery and ordered the dinner for 2. The entrees were cashew chicken and Mongolian beef. It came with hot and sour soup and pot stickers. Everything was decent, but not drool worthy. Portions were ample and flavor was okay. Was perhaps a tad greasy. We'll try it again with different items just to check it out. I hear there is a Chinese menu with different items on it. Now that is something I'd like to explore.

Yelp
We used to love this place when the parents still ran it. After their adult children starting running the place, we stopped coming. That was about four years ago when we experienced a dine-in total collapse of service on a Christmas Day. (We walked out.) But like the rest of the North Side, we're constantly searching for a Chinese joint that isn't totally mediocre. Lao Sze Chuan was our jam for a few years, but recently they've dumbed-down their options and the food just isn't the same. So tonight we decided after three years to try Mei Shung again. Big mistake. We've done takeout weekly throughout the pandemic to support local eateries. If you have too, like us, you've experienced all the forgivable pains of restaurants trying to hang on during the pandemic--and all the unforgivable bait-and-switches of restaurants cutting every corner imaginable and thinking you'd be too stupid to notice. Our experience with Mei Shung is the latter. We ordered hot-and-sour soup, onion cake, egg rolls, crab rangoon, garlic eggplant, and Taiwanese Steak. EVERYTHING was clearly made in advance and either left to sit under a heat lamp (all the fried options) or advance-frozen and then reheated in a microwave. As a result, all the fried foods were tough and rubbery--and tasted of old grease (we could taste burned fried chicken in all three appetizers), and the entrees were squishy and slimy. The crab rangoon had almost no filling. The garlic eggplant was missing ingredients and pretty much squished into a paste. EVERYTHING was alarmingly bland and under-seasoned--with the soup being both of those things and weak/diluted on top of it. And no fortune cookies at all. What even is that? I'm not talking North Side mediocre, here. I'm talking, we considered throwing it all out and re-ordering elsewhere mediocre. There is better bad Chinese food on the North Side--that's the best thing I can say. Don't bother. We won't again.

Yelp
Hair in my food and they did nothing about it. Customer service is terrible and food is salty.

Yelp
If you miss Wing Hoe.. go here, you won't be disappointed !! So good, might be same chef.

Alex B.

Yelp
Local Chinese place. Outstanding lunch specials. Please call them directly instead of using an app, as they pay out a lot for those services. Highly recommend.

James C.

Yelp
Orange chicken was tasty, and that's basically the only reason this place gets 2 stars My brown rice was undercooked and had no seasoning while my gfs white rice was cooked but also had no seasoning. The sweet and sour sauce was not even sweet and sour, and the rice noodles was also lacking seasoning. Not worth the money and won't be back. Much better and cheaper options in the area

Yelp
It was Christmas Day and decided to order from here. I figured calling at 4pm for a pickup at 630 would be enough time but apparently it wasnt. Oops! I did pay over the phone and the guy said they would call me when it's ready. I gave it a go because we had leftovers in the fridge as a backup. Long story short...the phone call came around 730pm. My husband went to pick up the order and there was a huge line outside. I guess everyone had the same idea. I do believe this restaurant should figure out how to streamline the orders/line, especially during a busy day. BUT...their food taste great for the value. This is the 2nd time Ive ordered from here but will reconsider another place on a holiday.

Riley B.

Yelp
Ordered Beef and Broccoli, Potstickers, Crab Rangoons, Orange Chicken, and got a free sweet and sour chicken entree! Huge portions! Everything was soooo good. I randomly found this spot and definitely recommend. All the food was hot when I picked it up and great quality/pricing! Will 100% be back!!!

Yelp
My initial Saturday lunch plans were ruined because my favorite Chinese restaurant was closed (who ever heard of a Chinese restaurant being closed on a SATURDAY????). Fortunately Mei Shung came to the rescue. This restaurant has always on my list of restaurants to try out after I watched a video on Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup. Apparently this restaurant specializes in Taiwanese cuisine. When we got there we were promptly seated. We ordered - Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup - Braised Pork belly (dongpo rou) - Peapod tips (dou miao) - 3 cup chicken (san bei ji) In case you couldn't tell we were pretty hangry. Everything was pretty tasty and the service was pretty good. I would come here in the future.
google avatar

Pamela Y.

Yelp
Interestingly, I got the brochure and recommendation for this place from manager of the laundry place near my house. I was pleasantly surprised that it was a Taiwanese cuisine, since there aren't many Taiwanese venues in the area. We went here as a party of three so it was perfect for the "for three" combo meal. Everything came at a good time, and tasted fine. The only complaint I have is that the portions were a bit small for the main dishes. I would probably recommend this for casual friendly gatherings!

Yelp
Mei Shung has become my favorite place on the north side! Delicious food and friendly service.

John S.

Yelp
It was yum yum yum yum yum. 5 yums, 4 stars. I mean it. It was delicious. Delivered hot!

Who A.

Yelp
Awful. Just awful. Spooning four tablespoons of oil out of my meal before I could even begin to look at it was not the most auspicious start. And it went downhill from there - $80 of food down the drain because it was so bland and boring tasting I thought I had covid. Simple dishes were missing wok hei that I'm sure it wasn't even cooked in a wok and the rest was just as uninspiring. This is worse than any "Americanized" Cantonese food I've had the misfortune to eat. I can't believe the high scores this place has.
google avatar

Dan P.

Yelp
We checked this restaurant out on yelp and saw multiple complaints about service So ordered take out. Not a soul was in the dining room when I picked up the order. The most remarkable part of the meal was the soup. The wife had egg drop. The broth was flavorful and clear as opposed to being gelatinous. I had the chicken noodle soup based on the strength of yelp reviews and it was good. I also ordered the garlic shrimp and liked it, although I was not overly impressed. My wife had a tofu dish that she liked, but said there was nothing spectacular about it. I would consider ordering from here again, but it is no better than any of the other Chinese food near us.

Horus B.

Yelp
I recently moved into the edgewater area and was looking for some Cantonese takeout. I came across Mei Shung and decided to call to place and order. The girl who answered the phone was very helpful in guiding me through their menu options. I ended up ordering potstickers, shrimp fried rice, egg rolls and trying lo mein noodles for the first time. The egg rolls were delectable and crispy, it could have been because they used a thinner wrapping than the traditional thick doughy ones at other Chinese restaurants. The shrimp fired rice was good as well as the pot stickers. I ordered the pan fried potstickers and the ginger ponzu sauce that accompanied it melded the flavors perfectly. The lo mein was my favorite one , the noodles had the right texture and the flavor was good. It was my first time time ordering from this location and it won't be my last.

Nick V.

Yelp
This place is good. It has a lot of Chinese American classics, and a few Taiwanese specialties that are worth your attention. Man, there are some weird spazzes writing these reviews. The service is more than fine in my experience, and I think it's a pretty entitled thing to complain about frankly. I prefer to focus on the food. Everything I've gotten tasted good (two visits), but the Don Bo Pork Belly buns were really remarkable if little steamed bread tacos of fatty pork sounds like something you'd like. The black bean tofu was also impressive: mild and flavorful, and my wife (or should I call her "hubby" because it's Yelp?) remarked how perfectly done the Gai Lan we ordered was. Most North Side Chinese restaurants are pretty mediocre, but there are a few gems. Mei Shung is one of the gems, and their Taiwanese menu makes a distinctive contribution.
google avatar

Carl L.

Yelp
Outstanding Chinese food with several Taiwanese specialities on the menu. In particular I am very fond of their shrimp toast and pork fried rice. I will admit I've never dined in so I can't say much about that but for delivery or carry out it is hard to beat.

Philip S.

Yelp
Late delivery and mediocre food at best. Don't recommend the egg rolls or the almond chicken.

B.J. S.

Yelp
The food is delicious. We ordered the 3 person meal. We loved the Hot & Sour Soup, the Cashew Chicken, Mongolian Beef, and Sweet & Sour Shrimp plus the potstickers which were huge. I highly recommend them.

Dave F.

Yelp
The old lady was yelling at all of the food delivery drivers. The restaurant is completely unorganized and unprofessional. I would not give this place my business. They're rude as hell.
google avatar

Rosa J.

Yelp
Ok, there must be some CIA stuff going on at Mei Shung (the mentioning of the secret Taiwanese menu in Chinese for those who can comprehend). I was curious about it so I went in intending to investigate. I'm a self-proclaimed CIA agent...maybe not. I'm just true bi-lingual (English and Mandarin Chinese). My bi-lingual ability is as good as it gets for a live human being. Well, I will stop bragging and start yelping...sorry about that! I ordered from the English, carry-out menu. I picked the garlic shrimp, mu shu pork, and dry cooked string beans. The total came to $32.14. I would say it's acceptable for the Chicago standard. The order came out in about ten (10) minutes, which wasn't bad since my hubby was waiting in the van (paid street parking like you would expect in the Edgewater neighborhood). Items were nicely-packaged and compartmentalized. Like what a Chinese restaurant would serve the fellow Non-Chinese customers, they included excessive amount of soy sauce, couple fortune cookies, and some other sauce. The food actually tasted find, a bit on the sweet side catering the American pallet. The customers I saw dining in were all non-Chinese. I regretted that I should have spoken Chinese from the get-go. However, due to the lack of accent in English (I sound like a Midwesterner), I just went on speaking English...it's just food...the Tower of Babel thing...please stay away for now! I may have to change my identity next time coming to Mei Shung so that I can taste the Taiwanese menu.

Jessica A.

Yelp
I have paid for my whole order and I realize there where missing my 2 eggs rolls. When calling the restaurant the guy said there will give me a free one ON MY NEXT ORDER. Very poor service and resolution.

Mindy T.

Yelp
Do not order for delivery. I ordered at 6:15. Was told 7:15. Arrived 8:15. Joke. They could have called with update or told truth in the beginning. After multiple calls was told a cook didn't come. So they knew all along. Outrageous business behavior. I won't be back and I've been going for 20 years.
google avatar

Arp U.

Yelp
Go-to Chinese spot. Love their fried rice and general tso's. They also have more authentic options, just ask.
google avatar

Diablo L.

Yelp
Wanted to try a new place for Chinese food, great pick, ordered BBQ pork appetizer, sweet & sour chicken , beef and Chinese broccoli & veggie fried rice , all were tasty choices and fresh, very authentic , will be back again...

Alexis M.

Yelp
I ordered a large shrimp fried rice and a large orange chicken, they only gave me 3 sauces. They are so stingy.

Kimberly K.

Yelp
I phoned in my order for delivery. I live in the same community as the restaurant.Practically blocks away. It took them almost 2 hours to deliver my order. To add insult to injury I called & told them I requested extra sauce which was not included & was hung up on. That was the first and last time I'll ever order from them!!!! Spare yourself!!

Kelly T.

Yelp
I ordered chicken wings (6 pcs). I understand some restaurants separate the "drum" from the "wing" but the "tip" too and call it a separate piece? This is the first time I've seen the tip of the wing be considered a separate piece. There's no meat on that part at all. There's also exposed sharp bone because of how they break it. The taste was just okay. It's a Chinese restaurant so I don't expect anything mind blowing flavor-wise but still subpar from wings from other Chinese restaurants.
google avatar

Shira G.

Yelp
Even the best restaurants make mistakes. I am no longer a customer at Mei Shung not because of mistakes, but how they were handled. The delivery took 1 hour and 40 minutes to arrive. Pretty ridiculous, but I was happy to have my food, so I did not consider calling the restaurant. I bit into a chicken wing to find pink, very undercooked meat. I opened one more just to check - pink. I called the restaurant and explained that my wings were inedible, also mentioning the lengthy delivery time. The person on the phone apologized, said how busy they are, and that they'll tell the chefs about the wings. Silence on my end as I was waiting for the "making it right" part. Didn't happen until I finally said, these wings are in the garbage, so what can you do for me? I was put on hold, then told they would take 5% off of my next order. ...most of my orders with them do not exceed $30 on average. 5% of 30 would be $1.50. That's pretty insulting. After I expressed my frustration with their lack of compensation, they offered (in chronological order) the following: -to send another order of wings (Did not want more wings) -$6 off next order Finally I asked them to refund me the cost of the wings. They agreed, but it was too late. They already lost me as a customer due to how they handled the situation. Had they made it right initially I would not be writing this review.

Amanda M.

Yelp
Fantastic pork belly bao. Like, I'm bummed I could only eat two, but I still have plenty to make another four buns tomorrow (or midnight snack. We'll see.) The piece of pork belly they gave me was huge, and they didn't skimp on the separate containers of mustard greens, cilantro, and crushed peanuts. This was my first time ordering from Mei Shung and I'm thinking it's going to be my go-to for delivery for at least a couple consecutive weekends. Only bummer is the buns don't travel well, which I sort of expected. They kind of all globbed together. Next time I'll prob wrap them in wet paper towels and microwave for a few seconds before assembling.

Scott S.

Yelp
Mei Shung used to be my dad's favorite restaurant. So we went there today and it was terrible because: 1) the shrimp was tiny and frozen 2) the service was poor (e.g. had to ask 6 times for more napkins before I just got up and got the extra napkins for myself). As a result, I will NEVER go back!

Alicia P.

Yelp
We've gotten takeout and delivery from Mei Shung - can't say we share the horrible experiences from the other reviews. When I went in for takeout the owner was super friendly and recommended various Taiwanese dishes for us to try. For the delivery experience: we ordered on Yelp (at 9:30p), within minutes received a follow up call when an item had run out, then received our order from a nice boy who biked over within 30 min of placing the order. The food was excellent (I'm not Taiwanese, but I am Chinese and a fair judge of the food.) We especially love the Taiwanese Fried Noodles, which are made with the super thin cellophane/rice noodles and has shrimp and pork with leeks. Sooo tasty! All the other food items have been on par with the quality I would expect from a neighborhood takeout place. IMO this place is better than your typical takeout place because they offer legit and authentic Chinese dishes. (If that's important to you.)

Emma P.

Yelp
I've been going here for my whole life and I love it! A Chicago staple!!!! Must go here if you want really good Chinese food!

Yelp
Bad experience. I am a return customer but this last experience (11/14/17) - not so much! Ordered online for delivery. Order placed at 6:53 pm. Promise time on the receipt is 7:01 pm. (No I did not expect it within 8 minutes) I called twice to find out where the deliverer was.....the phone conversations were abrupt, but I was nice. Too quick to say anything before the disconnect. The food was finally delivered at 8:20 PM. An hour and a half later. It wasn't of the expected temperature (even for a delivery in Chicago). The delivery person (happened to be, what appeared, a family of three in a mini-van. Last minute oops?) brought the food to my door. I was waiting outside. The tip was already accounted for and charged so there was no transaction. There wasn't an apology for being so incredibly late. I was greatly disappointed by that. So - Mei Shung. I'd love to hear from you. The order number, by the way, was 33765591 on Nov 14, 2017.

Yelp
It's OK. Definitely not good, great, or amazing. I am overall disappointed with the Asian cuisine here in Edgewater, but felt Mei Shung was the best of the bunch. Out of the few times I've had Mei Shung, I liked the orange chicken and the fried wontons. Overall, pretty expensive for the amount of food you get (which isn't a lot, honestly) I recommend only going for their Lunch specials; it's significantly cheaper than dinner (save about $9)
