"Mei Wah has been a household name since 1965. The third generation now at the helm has returned to authentic Chinese cuisine with a focus on finesse and purity, not adapting to Western taste. The result is a contemporary look with flavours from overseas, accompanied by a choice of wine or sake." - Michelin Inspector

Unique, fine and perfectly balanced tasty food - married with perfect wines. Served by knowledgable and very friendly passionate people. We keep coming back and we are never disappointed, always a perfect experience.

Probably the best Asian food experience I've had in Eindhoven. Food was very tasty and combinations were sometimes classic sometimes surprising. We had the 5 course meal after a team event and it was a great end to the day. Would heartily recommend anyone with a interest in Asian cuisine

Good food mediocre atmosphere , too expensive we were not shown a wine list no price just told us three choices No desert at all on menu . Will not go back.

Don't let the exterior of the building fool you. This is not your average Dutch Chinese restaurant. Glad to see authentic quality Chinese food. Only downside I can think of is the price. Expect to pay around 50-70 euro pp. Was hoping for just a little more for this price. Two small (amuses) appetizers in between the dishes would have done just the trick. Still a serious recommendation and a deserved 5 star review.

Flexible in arranging vegan and gluten free options, not sacrificing taste in the slightest. Food was delicious, and the service was attentive without being in your face. The wine list is exceptional, completely deserved listing on the star wine list. Highly recommended

The overall experience was excellent, highlighted by dishes having authentic Chinese flavors. However, the dishes were arriving later than expected, in between.

I had been looking forward to dining here for a long time. However, I was left feeling that the experience did not match my expectations or research. The food is good, but of the 5 dishes (and 3 sides of rice, fried rice, and noodles), only one was delicious. Everything else was okay or good, not great, and did not justify the price tag. The service is cold but fine. If you order the fish, it is deboned in front of you, and the person doing it looks extremely bored. I would have rathered they debone the fish in the kitchen because it just made the environment awkward. I was particularly turned off by the large writing on the bill "Gratuity Is Not Included!".

Yelp
Excellent Chinese food in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Contrary to most Chinese Indonesian restaurants in the Netherlands this place is much more real Chinese food oriented. Besides some interesting appetizers we had a great whole sea bass with black bean sauce, the Iberian pork and a great eggplant beef dish. All of which were excellently prepared. Nice and calm dining room conducive to a great diner and conversation. On the bit more expensive side for Dutch Chinese but well worth it.

Yelp
Tried many Chinese restaurants in the Netherlands and they were all bad and not authentic. This place is different, I've eaten twice on this trip and the owner's mom is the chef and she does a great job. Will come back whenever I'm sick of cold cuts and need food fit for Chinese.
