Today we celebrated a friend's birthday, a group of 10 people. Friendly and quick service. Food is good and a generous serving for a good price. Aileen our server, made sure that we have everything we need, prompt and helpful. The Manager Vicky is friendly. Thank you for a great service and good food. We all enjoyed our lunch.

The food was so very good! The egg flower soup was the best I've had! The place was packed and it was a late lunch time. Very good experience. The staff were courteous and friendly!

Went here for dinner one evening and was greeted by the friendly staff and was taken to the table. My waitress was very friendly and quick on her feet. I ordered the dinner combination plate of mongolian chicken,chow mein, fried rice, and there was also 1 vegetable egg roll and 1 fried shrimp prawn. I also had their orange chicken and garlic chicken. The food was fresh, and it had good flavor, plus their portions were BIG!

One of the best spots in Modesto for Chinese food! The food is delicious! It's fresh, good cuts of chicken, and great portions at a fair price! I was extremely impressed. The orange chicken and chicken with green beans are some of the best I've had and very flavorful. I also enjoyed the hot tea. Service is quick and friendly. Lots of indoor dining and can accommodate big parties. We came on a Sunday around 2pm, they were pretty busy, but sat is right away. Seems like a favorite spot for locals. Would highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

**I really wish Google would allow me once a year to pick a place and add a 6th star, because this place would be it. ** I walked in here on the eve of Thanksgiving....10 minutes before they closed. I simply was not paying attention to time, or even knew what time it was to be honest. Once I realized this, I told them I would gladly leave and come back another day as I did not want to be "one of those people..." Anyone who has ever worked in any food service know exactly who I am referring too. However, everyone at the counter immediately told me to not worry and to sit down and get some food as there was a few families left in there still finishing up and "it's really not a big deal at all." I promised to order quick, eat quick, and pop smoke! Again, it was reinforced I need not rush and to relax and EAT! Oh man did I eat. I ordered the Orange chicken, I had seen pictures online and seen a few people reference the dish when reading reviews previously. I also placed an order to-go for my wife, who works nights (Beef and Broccoli). I am sure she gets tired of the lunches I pack, they aren't always 10s! My order came out so quick I barely had time to peruse the internet absentmindedly. In fact, normally when I eat alone I browse reddit while I eat just to multi task my ADHD away. Not tonight. I put my phone down and put 100% of my attention into the food. I will gladly state; this is by far, the BEST Chinese food I have had in probably a decade, if not ever. The meal came with a soup, I got the Hot and Sour. It was awesome. I inhaled it. Their Chow Mein is on a level of it's own, I would gladly order a 10 gallon bucket of it and unashamedly devour all of it in one go. It has freaking SPROUTS in it, how awesome is that?!! The spring onion, the hint of I believe sesame oil...11 out of 10. The orange chicken, is also an 11 out of 10. The dish comes with a spring roll (fried) and a breaded and fried shrimp. It was too much. I am a big dude, and I struggled to even finish the protein portion. Left half the Chow Mein for dinner....I mean lunch....Oh why lie? I will eat it in the middle of the night or probably for breakfast. I cannot stress how good those noodles are. Now, not only was the food on it's own worthy of 5 stars. The employees? Wow! Everyone was so nice, beyond nice, and welcoming. Even though I popped in 10 minutes before close (again, sorry my friends I wasn't paying attention), they never once rolled eyes, or made me feel like I was a burden in anyway. Even as the final families cleared out and I was left alone, shoveling this down as fast as I could to get out of their hair. They engaged me in conversation that was fun and spirited. We swapped stories, and I told them a bit of my travels and the food I have indulged in. I did let them know how they blew me away with kindness, generosity, and amazing food. Look. I have been to a lot, and I mean A LOT of places around this country, and the world. This place deserves as much success as they possibly can. You can see they have been here for a minute, and have a stellar review history as it is. I'm late to the party here, but I sure am glad I decided to pop in tonight. I will be back, but the next time I will not be alone. I am bringing everyone I can here. You know how In N Out is known for their cheerful employees and upbeat atmosphere? I know.... I worked for them for three years... This place reminded me of that. My only regret? I wish I would have asked for their names, I was in such a hurry to get out of there because I know what it's like to stay later than you need, it slipped my mind. Whomever worked tonight, I appreciate it. Thank you.

Food was so flavorful and deep flavor. The portion for family style are big and 3 adults and 1 kid ate for $41 + tip. That was awesome! We had a meat plate, fried rice, chow fun! So great and nice friendly staff.

My first time in Modesto today and we looked for something a little different to eat. We were immediately greeted and seated when we walked in. Server was very attentive and friendly. She checked in just enough that my water cup was never empty which was awesome. The egg drop soup was delicious and came out at the exact right temperature. It was raining today so it was a perfect little treat. Then the food came. The plates were huge!! I only was able to eat a fourth of it and took the rest to go. The orange chicken was so good. It had a little spice an a crunch to it which I loved! The chowmein and fried rice were so good and flavorful that I didn’t need to add ANYTHING to them. Normally I have to add pepper or a little sauce to make it tastey but they did such a good job I ate it the way it came. I was so happy with the food. Also the price?? I was blown away by how affordable it is for a lunch plate. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Best chinese food in all of Modesto in my opinion, food is super good, portions are insane for the price. Very friendly service , staff are always very nice and patient on the phone.

This is my 3rd time eating here. Fast friendly service each time. The food is delicious and abundant. Today was the perfect time to try their Woh Wonton soup. Really tasty with a clear broth. The best I've had in this area. I ordered the regular size bowl, but will order the large next time because it's that good. Highly recommend Mei Wei. Prices are fair too.

Everything is absolutely delicious. Never had a bad meal. Have been going there for years and Ming is delightful. Service is great!! That's my go to place if I want great Chinese food! Must have the hot sour soup!

We've been here at least close to 10 times now each and every time the staff is very welcoming and hospitable. Atmosphere is more like we are family versus customers . We are always seated promptly and orders are taken just at the right time . Our food has always been consistently delicious also . Today we ordered the orange chicken lunch and I tried their yellow chicken curry lunch both really good and their egg flower soup is really good too . Highly recommend this place for a lunch or dinner date or family outing they also do large trays for catering family get together or business luncheon . Today I was given a free gift from them it was such a special surprise I love hello kitty .

I usually love this place. A bit pricy but delicious food. Totally disappointed with our delivery. Ordered 2 different meals. One with no onions in the rice. They both came with no onions. Totally ruined the flavor.

Best Chinese place in Modesto hands down. Their portions are generous and most importantly, delicious. I usually order take out and it always is hot & fresh. I appreciate their service quality and attention to detail. Dining in, the area is a little small and always busy so keep that in mind. Support local small businesses!!

Came here for the first time for dinner and ordered takeout. We had 6 different items that were prepared fresh and ready in about 15-20 minutes. The staff was great. Very kind and friendly. The prices for the amount of food was great. They also infused some free potstickers for the amount of food we ordered which was very generous. The food was good and fresh. It was better than going to your typical panda express and we didn't have to wait much longer. I'd say its worth coming here.

Seen a post in TikTok and wanted to give it a try. So good and worth a 5 star review. The staff are friendly, the setting was clean, and the food was delicious. I will be back soon.

I'm slightly disappointed with our visit tonight. We arrived at 7 PM but did not get our food until close to 8 PM. Though it took about maybe 10 minutes before we were seated. And their reasoning behind the delay was unexpected rush-hour customers. But still, between 40 12:55 hour is a little extreme for waiting for food. I don't know if it was because I was extremely hungry or that the food was really good but we ordered Mongolian chicken and sweet-and-sour pork, and it was possibly the best they have ever had at this location. We've been here quite often, so it is highly unlikely that they will lose our business.

It is so disappointing when you pay good money and tip! But receive what tasted like someone's leftovers from yesterday! My food was cold and tasted like cardboard. 2nd time this has happened. I gave it a chance, but sorry, can't no more. Get help, so that you can clean your tables, seat your guests, and give call in orders their food while it's hot! Literally witnessed the guy after me ask for his order and 45 minutes later he got his while I was still waiting.

Decided to grab takeout this time, and overall, it was a mixed experience. The service was quick and efficient, which I appreciated. I ordered the beef with string beans, chicken chow mein, and substituted veggies for the fried rice. First off, the portion sizes for takeout are noticeably smaller than dining in, though it was still enough for a decent lunch. My meal included a fried egg roll, which was a nice touch. The chicken chow mein was tasty as always, though it came with just one piece of chicken--disappointing. The beef with string beans was flavorful and had a good amount of beef, but there were a lot of string beans. The biggest letdown was the side of veggies. They lacked any seasoning or flavor, and I ended up having to douse them in soy sauce to make them edible. For the $2 upcharge, it felt like a waste, and I wouldn't order it again. While the meal had some highlights, the inconsistency in portions and lack of flavor in the veggies left me underwhelmed. Next time, I might stick to dining in or skip the veggie substitution altogether.

My family and I have been coming to this place for years. We've always loved it. They have great food, great service and it's always clean. However, recently, I had an experience where we had take out and it was horrible. I thought maybe just an off night so we went there to have dinner a few days ago. The soup was horrible. The food was horrible. I had garlic chicken. One of my pieces had a giant ball of fat and bone pieces in it. I asked the waitress if possibly it had new ownership she looked confused as we have a language barrier. So I asked her a different way trying to explain to her and she said oh yes, new owner. So they have changed ownership and kept the name and the food now is very poor quality. Sadly will not be back.

Glad I came across this spot. They have an amazing family meal that's very affordable and delicious. Staff very friendly and attentive. Would def come back.

I was in the mood for Chinese food the other day when we happened to drive by here. Im so glad we stopped here! Honestly, this just might be my new favorite Chinese restaurant. Three things that make this place great: amazing food, good portion sizes and incredible prices. I'll also note that service is great! The meals that come with a soup, fried rice and chow mein is the way to go. I went with the broccoli beef and everything was great. I highly recommend trying this out!

The food and service is always amazing! The food is fresh, good quality and great value for your money!! The lemon chick is nice and crispy, white meat chicken breast, the orange chicken is nice and crispy thighs I believe. The flavor is so good on both. Their chow mein and rice is delicious too. The egg drop soup is my favorite especially when I'm sick, I stop in and buy a few bowls of it to go!

2 hour wait is ridiculous just to get an order good food but bad service on waiting for food that long ....have to be better on serving people

Looking for a place that makes sweet and sour shrimp and came across this gem of a place. The restaurant is small and clean. The waitresses that work there are fantastic. They kept the plates of food coming as well as the drink refills. We tried two appetizers, the green beans and the potstickers (gyoza) and they were pretty good. We had some pork chow main which was outstanding. The fried rice was decent. The steak with mushrooms was delightful, the steak was tender and I added some bean sprouts and that just set it over the top. We had the sweet and sour shrimp that was nice and fresh and then we also had some sweet and sour chicken that was phenomenal nice and crispy. Over all this place is a great spot to have a nice meal. Definitely will be coming back.

Never in my life have I walked out of an establishment. Waited an hour for my food and ended up walking out because nothing had came out. Let me include I had ordered an appetizer as well and by the 1 hour mark it still hadn't came out. It was my first time going and definitely will not be back. What could improve? Communication between staff and customers. Server only came to our table once to tell us the food was almost out, and then it was not out. Looking at previous reviews some have complained about food taking long to come out. Had we been told it would have taken a little long for the food to be ready we would've left and came back another day we had time to wait.

Excellent decision to try this place. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is clean. The selection is plentiful and fresh. There was so much food leftover we ate off it for two days. Delicious for leftovers as well. Glad we tried, our new favorite place. Reasonable price! We'll be back

Portions are small in size, even if you ask for Large size. Food is very tasty...Prices have doubled..

We really need to eat in at this place to give it a more accurate review, seems unfair to rate places only after getting it to go. I liked the garlic chicken and the chow mein was pretty good also. Pot stickers tasted well but by the time you get them home they are soggy but that's not their fault. They were crazy busy and quite impressive that they were able to handle the non stop phone ringing for orders, the seven or eight people that were picking up their to go and a full dining area. Looked like a family ran place so we will eat in and update later. Solid 3.5 stars for us on to go. 4.5 for service.

Great food. Great price point and always friendly. Good atmosphere and very inviting. The only problem I had was that I forgot that service could be good until I went to Mei Wei.

Ate here a few times when I worked in the area and was never disappointed. The food was generous and delicious. Then I ordered out for dinner, took it home about 15 min away and myself and someone else got food poisoning. Haven't been back since. Was it a one off? Probably. But kinda hesitant to go back somewhere it has made you sick. I'm not saying I won't be back bc like I said I ate here multiple times. I would definitely eat in vs order out.

Was quickly seated and served.... Got my drink in less than 2 min and my soup quick right after.. the server was very nice and always checked on me.. Food was amazing.... Highly recommend this place. Orange chicken was great and the fried rice was perfect.

Really delicious food. The taste was amazing and really flavorful. Also it was a great deal for the amount of food. The service was amazing, 2 ladies were on top of it. Brought out the soup and beverages immediately, and filled our waters timely. I wish I could come more often, but I don't live super close. Anyway, definitely recommend coming here. 10/10

Looking to get a quick lunch but not fast food. Saw this place close off the freeway and gave it a try. Food was amazing! We had salt and pepper pork chop... perfectly fried and not greasy. Honey glazed shrimp was hands down best we've ever had. Light batter and not overly sauced. Last we had BBQ pork fried rice which was flavor and a large portion. Service was very friendly and quick. Seems to be a popular place as it was full by the time we left.

Food has always been great when I go here. Very friendly. Busy during weekends but still good food. I've been going here for about 3 years now and haven't been disappointed yet. Spicy orange chicken is my favorite.

It's not much to look at, but it's clean and friendly. Most importantly, the food is good. It's presented well, appropriate temperature and tasty. Good value for the money.

Nice Asian fusion spot we stopped at while driving through Modesto. I had a craving for Thai food and used Yelp to find this spot. Service was good and also quick. They give a lot of rice and noodles. I do wish they gave more protein but it was decent. Regardless, the food was good. Price was affordable as well. This is a great option if you're ever in the area.
