Wow!! Completely lovely experience!! The authentic dishes of Moroccan cuisine brought me back to my days in Rabat, Morocco! The staff was pleasant and very knowledgeable on all the dishes they offer and recommended the most delicious appetizers! The food was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this Moroccan gem! Come with family or friends, they will not disappoint!! I will be back for sure!!

Mekki hosted our work dinner of almost 20 people, and it was a truly wonderful experience! The staff was incredibly attentive. The restaurant's general manager, Elizabeth, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The food and cocktails were delicious -- with the shrimp chermoula, lamb tagine and the desserts being the highlights for me. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely amazing food and service! Our server Yasser was so accommodating and gave us a complimentary dessert! If you want to try Moroccan food for the first time, this is the place to do it. Authentic and delicious!

We were thrilled to find out about this place and went on a Tuesday night. Everything on the menu, from the cocktails to the dessert, is not to be missed. Highly suggest either the chicken or lamb tangines. Quite filling and lots of flavor. Also the eggplant and salads are great pairings! Make it here asap!!

Mekki is the best! This was the first time that I tried Moroccan food in my life.I tried most of the foods and cocktails at the menu. All of them was outstanding! The place has a good vibe inside. At night its becoming like a night club.I met the owner Mr.Mekki.He is such a nice and generous guy, was pleasure to meet him.The GM Elizabeth also was sweet lady and guided me about the menu.Tagine, shrimp and cheese rolls were out of this world! At the bar, Mesut made me their house cocktails.Mekki old fashioned was pretty good but Flying Carpet was one of the best drinks I ve ever tried! Prices were reasonable, service was fine and warm. I recommend everyone this place, its so nice for some drinks and dining, don't hesitate to try anything!

This Moroccan restaurant along this new revived 8th street with trendy restaurants is a long cry from the shoe and bong shops that once occupy this street. Mekki modern interior with lounge bar in front and eating in the back but you can eat in the front also. Service seemed okay from the moment we checked-in to seating to ordering. We decided to try a new Moroccan from our go to in the EV because you never know if you find a new hidden gem. We started with the Briwate (which are basically deep fried rolls filled with cheese) was OK but nothing memorable. The Zaalouk (eggplant), I thought was better and more flavor. The Kefta Rabat (meatballs) seemed okay also. My lamb shank with fries was good. The lamb was tender and crispy fries. We left feeling the food was a bit bland to okay and service was adequate. Apparently Yasser wasn't there the night we dined. We thought the meal was okay. There was something awkwardly je n'ai sais pas to the place vibe. It felt like they wanted to be a trendy club fashionista place where the beautiful people hangout laughing with champagne in one hand like B-bar once was including some of these review below.
