January 9, 2026 8:30am Sat down for breakfast ordered the three egg omelette with breakfast potatoes and a tea. Food came out with leafy greens instead of potatoes. I told the server and she said “oh yeah we don’t carry potatoes anymore”. So this place is advertising they give you potatoes with most of their meals yet only giving their customers cheap leafy greens. This is FRAUD and false advertising. On top of this because they make you order via the airport’s monopoly company OTG online portal they say they can not give you a refund and that you must request a refund on the app. This has to be illegal, a request is not a guaranteed refund and on top of that the app forces you to give a tip at the same time you order. But now since I made them take the omelette back because it is not what I ordered the percentage will be different without the tea. So now I have tipped 100% the price of my tea. In addition she told me she was going to call her manager so she can give me a refund. I saw the manager walk in and talk to them but then after 5 minutes she disappeared and I never saw her. I asked the waitress and she said her manager was just there and asked me if I spoke to her. I said no, and she seemed to be confused. So the manager never even spoke to me. The waitress had to call her back to come talk to me. Then I waited 25 minutes more for the manager to come back and speak to me. She then refused to give me a refund saying she can’t give me the refund I have to do a refund REQUEST online even though they have a POS system right here in front of me. She said she didn’t know how to do it. How does a MANAGER not know how to issue a refund on a POS system. She clearly does not know how to manage anything. She makes customers wait over half an hour total for her to come address a situation leaving without talking to me the first time she came. Then doesn’t know how to even use the POS system. This is beyond ridiculous. These airports need to be sued as a fraudulent monopoly. Every single restaurant in the airport uses this same payment system and has all of the same drinks on the menu u and all for the same price. Essentially they are all the same restaurant just a different location in the airport. And they do not have any price competition as all of the prices are the exact same and the same product. Surely this is illegal.

Saw this inside Newark airport . We were craving some sweet and found this one . The cakes other items on Display was very tempting . We got a chocolate croissant and it was good . They heated it up a bit and tasted ok when it was hot . Even if u eat it after 5 mins , it tends to cool down and doesn’t taste the same . A little pricey but you can expect it in airports . Service was good . Cup cake was ok. Could have been better . Cookies were good . 4 stars overall

Lukewarm soup with soggy croutons and a handful of huge nuts on top and a side salad swimming in exceptionally bitter dressing. No soup spoon was given - ate soup with a teaspoon of:( Food wasn’t good.

Messy, unprepared, unprofessional. They did not have tea because their machine is broken--why is it still on the OTG electronic menu then? They brew their coffee in an old technology of percolator. Everything is low quality.

Pleasantly surprised about the food here. Everything tasted fresh and the chicken was well seasoned. Our server was also super nice. Couldn't have asked for a better place to sit and eat

8:45am order on a weekday, with a generous 20% tip. Does NOT come with silverware, have to wait 5 minutes with the food in front of me getting cold. Water glass is missing, have to be asked/reminded . French toast is burnt ($18). Overall this is a lackluster, pathetic establishment.

This place is bad. There is potential. This menu could be good but it’s not. I ordered the steak frite. I ordered it medium rare and it came well done (see photo) they never checked in so I couldn’t complain. It also needed salt. They also give you plastic knives which won’t cut said steak The salad was over dressed and had an off putting taste. The fries were fine. On the plus side the atmosphere is nice and there is plenty of seating because anyone who checks first won’t eat here (my bad). All the food in this airport is overpriced. I would avoid it at all costs.

If you think you've had a bad experience with airport food, hold on to your hat, because Newark airport breaks all the records. They have the gall to charge you 25 dollars for two slices of Walmart bread and a slice of ham and a coffee. I picked the most decent looking place and it still was full of dirty tables after a half hour. If you think there's something strange about every rating being lower than 2 stars I'm sorry to say that there isn't. Bring your own food or be prepared for way more than disappointment. It'll ruin your day.
