Came on a Saturday maybe that why it wasn't busy and I had no issues parking either. But the entrance is on fruitland not Soto. Once you enter park to the left against the wall. Go look for the golf cart because sometimes he's all the way on the other side or you can wait in your truck he will come to you and make you come back to you truck before you check in. If he's taking to long go look because he was busy talking to one of the workers. Everyone is nice I back in no issues because there were hardly any trucks but did have to use part of the street. I can see how it might be difficult to park if there are other trucks. But overall no bad experience on my side checked in at 1030 door by 1055, out by 12

Honestly, I don't know what y'all are complaining about. Only reason im giving 4 and not 5 stars is because backing in is HORRIBLE!! However, plenty of people willing to help. I was there at 7am and didn't get loaded til 8pm. It happens. Everyone from the 2 golf cart security guys, to forklift drivers, to front desk people were ALL very nice! No complaints here!! (Except for backing..omg it is soooo bad!! LoL)

I deliver on a regular & its even hard for a day cab with a 53ft trailer to dock. The guy on the golf cart is really understandable about the space that's needed to dock. By me driving by to get a vision on the docks, let's me know to say, "I'll wait on a dock that has no space". It's very challenging to dock here & gives me anxiety. However, the warehouse staff is cool as heck!

Speaking with Sandra from customer service was a delight! She helped me ensure the mangosteens I was ordering as a gift came on time. They were currently awaiting a shipment so it was not clear exactly when they would be available and she made a point to call me back to let me know I could order them :)

Costomer service is alright. Not going outta their way to be nice. Its on fruitland st to enter in a big rig. Park in the line in the parking lot. A dude in a golf cart drove up and checked me in initially. They knock on your door when they have a dock open. Then you back in their very tight and advanced skill level to maneuver dock. Hope you get a dock closer to the road. Then you go inside and check the rest of the way in.

Must enter by Fruitland St. pull in next to building on right and wait for the guard he will come to you . Backing is not for rookies! Got in pretty quick but one truck was in dock whole time I was here. Everyone was nice .

Arrogant people had to pickup 2 pallets checked in at 8am asked the guy several time for how long they will take told me rudely to wait and he’ll come to me when it’s ready it’s 3:45 now still nothing

OH M GEEEEEEE! I had heard about pink pineapples for a long time and finally decided to just order one from Melissa's produce to be sent to my daughter. Melissas was out of this product for a long time (they sell out quickly) but I just happened to be surfing the site when I saw they were back in stock. Such a novel concept and so FUN to cut open. My daughter saved me some slices and WOW!!! I could eat this all day long. Would love to see the pineapple plant where they are grown in Costa Rica. Just a beautiful and delicious gift to give (or receive!!)

Melissa's Produce offers a wide variety of organic fruits and vegetables that are difficult to find at many of my local stores. To avoid the hassle of traffic and visiting multiple stores, I simply order online. It's as simple as 1, 2, 3!

Bought a banana sampler. It was supposed to be 8 pounds, containing baby bananas, burro bananas, red bananas, manzano bananas, and plantains. There were no manzano bananas and the total weight was under 6 pounds. I emailed them about the missing manzano and received no reply. I feel like I was ripped off. No way I would ever order from them again, and if you're thinking about, go somewhere else. You won't get what I'd listed or what you paid for.

I love Melissa's Produce! They have such great produce available, and it's always fresh and delicious. My favorite item they carry is the Exotic and Tropical Fruits Basket.

This is certainly NOT Harry & David.... I've got a thing for fresh figs, but they are very difficult to find in Chicago. I ordered fresh figs from Melissa's through Goldbelly. Of course, on the website they pictured gorgeous figs, and the description stated: "...includes three types of assorted figs: Black Mission Figs, Heirloom Figs, and Tiger Figs." What I received: 2 plastic packs of HARD, INEDIBLE, mission figs. several packs of what are typically called 'Turkey' figs (an absolutely sub-par type of fig), and the best part, NO TIGER figs. I so called Melissa's directly even though I had placed the order through Goldbelly. The girl on the phone said "oh, we don't have any tiger figs". To which I replied: then UPDATE your description. The main reason I placed this order was for the Tiger figs. I've noticed since my call that the Goldbelly website states this item is 'out of stock'. Goldbelly sent me an email stating there are no refunds, to which I replied: what they did is fraud. My 'contract' to purchase this item was for the item listed. Since they did NOT send the item listed, I expect a full refund. Not sure why, but I was expecting a 'Harry and David' type experience where the fruit selected is about the best you can get. Boy was I wrong with Melissa's. They obviously just throw a bunch of crappy produce in some plastic and send it along. Called my credit card company to dispute the charge. We'll see what happens. This is my first, and definitely my LAST purchase with Goldbelly AND Melissa's.

Melissa's Produce carries many organic fruits and vegetables that are very hard to find in a regular supermarket. The fruits and vegetables are fresh and of premium quality. They carry 100s of items, some I have never heard of. The prices are very reasonable. Many years ago, I would call to place an order for Saturday in-store pickup. However they are no longer open on Saturdays and Sundays, so I have switched to home delivery. This way I don't have to fight the downtown traffic and the aggravation that comes with it. The shipping fees they charge beats putting up with the traffic. I also like that you can browse their website and order in the convenience of your home. Payment is very easy through PayPal. For the past several orders, I did not have to call anyone there, my order was done exclusively via the internet. Every online order has been shipped within 24 hours. All items are packaged with care so your items arrive safely. Three or four times a year, I order the same products: Peeled & Steamed Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans), French Echalion Shallots, and Elephant Garlic. These products are a stable in my household. In addition to these item, I order a variety of fruits and vegetables. If you like to make a healthy hummus plate, I urge you to use Melissa's Peeled & Steamed Chickpeas. I am very pleased with Melissa's and I strongly recommend them for organic fruits and vegetables delivery.

Organic produce delivery? Say no more!! A coworker told me about her experience picking up her produce from a co op each week and I was intrigued. I saw one of their vans on the freeway one day and decided to look into their delivery service. I went to their website to see what they had to offer and after deciding on the organic family box I contacted customer service to set up recurring delivery. That was several months ago and since then I have been receiving produce every other week. I LOVE the convenience of having it delivered to my door. My family box costs me $40 including tax and shipping and I get a LOT of fruits and veggies that are always fresh and delicious. I'm really happy with Melissa's and I highly recommend this company for organic produce delivery.

FRESH FRUITY GOODNESS. Had the pleasure of seeing Melissa's at the LA Weekly Plate food tasting event in which baskets of produce were proudly displayed and free samples of a variety of their fruits were given. Oranges. Pixie Tangerines. Korean Pears. Baby Kiwi Fruits. Lady Alice Apples. Rambutans. Dried Cranberries and Blueberries. Trail Mix. I love fruit so having the option of stuffing my face with fruit as opposed to carbs was a great idea...and that was exactly what I did. I've never seen Baby Kiwis nor Rambutans in my life (nor did I know how to eat them), so being schooled by Melissa's was a treat. I popped the Baby Kiwis in my mouth and the sweet juice oozed into my mouth, a perfect healthy snack that can overtake popcorn and chips in an instant. Rambutans is similar to lychee and taste just like it, but less acidic and less juicy. Apples are crisp and sweet. Melissa's was by far my favorite booth to visit at the Plate event. Melissa's offer organic and nonorganic fruit for sale by the pound, gift and basket options, and subscriptions to fruit and produce crates. Many, many options and their website is very helpful with information on the types of produce they carry, when it's in season, their availability, and even recipes to incorporate their produce. What I love is their variety in items. They offer many locally grown produce, as well as import Mexican and Asian fruits and produce, which can be hard to find if you're not at a specialty market. Won't forget about you, Melissa's; I'll be sure to make an order for some goodies soon.

I give them five stars because they deserve it! I placed an order online for a family size box of vegetables and a family size box of fruits! The variety was amazing in both boxes and I got a great value because The fruit was so fresh I thought I picked it myself at the farm and the vegetables were so crisp, and tasty! I decided to go to Melissa's because of COVID-19 in the early days! Now I'm hooked I've had multiple deliveries! It arrives icy cold, is packed well! No fluff really to dispose of and great boxes to reuse! I am going to continue to order from them because of the continuance of COVID-19 and I recommend their products because of the freshness, quick quick delivery! I feel like I got what I paid for plus! I need a variety of fruits and vegetables at the house and I added items like, mixed onions I needed sweet and brown and white onions they threw in some purple onions that were the best I ever had in my life! I got potatoes and carrots, I have a Giants at my home my son is 7'2" tall and another member in the house is 6'8" tall that's around 650 pounds of men to feed every day! And fresh fruits and vegetables during COVID-19 I have been very worrisome! I don't trust the markets, and had purchased many of Melissa's items singularly at the store for years! They also have a telephone number that you can call and get a real human being on the other end if you need it! The only reason why I called them was to thank them after the second load of boxes we're delivered to my house! I found the navigation at their site quite reasonable! They give you a confirmation number! But you don't have to wait too long it's at your door very quickly! If you are into organic and fresh produce and they have other products as well I recommend Melissa's!

One of my local markets started carrying a lot of their produce. So many different types of beets, radishes, chilis...All the varieties of exotic fruit alone are worth patronizing for. Their online ordering is even crazier as inventory goes...

Melissa's World Variety Produce. Top quality produce and was told they have over 1000 different products, I believe it the place is huge, over 200k sq feet warehouse. In my opinion the best specialty produce around.

I love JICAMA, but you are ruining this beautiful vegetable, puting wax, spoiled the teste and get rotten very soon. Like you put in the label, is potato, crunchy, juicy do you put wax in potato,. This is a delicious treat. I had a poor experience .

I had a poor experience with this company. I ordered and paid for overnight delivery on a Wednesday morning and didn't get my product until Tuesday of the folllowing week. I called the company and asked to be reimbursed the extra I paid for overnight delivery. It was indicated to me that shipping information was on the website. Well, firstly when placing the order it says expedient delivery is 2-3 days but if you order after 10am on Thursday it will not be sent until Monday. I ordered on Wednesday morning! Before speaking to the company I tried to search the website for shipping information but a search for "shipping" gave me a long list of the word shipping in individual products which when accessed only said shipping options but not expected delivery times. After speaking to the representative he walked me through the site to find delivery information. It was not obvious (it is in the section labeled "About us and then frequent questions). This was not the information provided at the time I ordered! After several discussions they offered me a discount on my next purchase. I don't want to buy something else from them! The product was good but the service not. I have read that they try to keep customers happy. Really?
