What a great place for lunch or any other meal. I love MM pizzas 🍕. They are always very flavorful and cooked to perfection. I sat at the Bar and Renee was there with a friendly smile and very courteous. She ensured that I had all my condiments were provided before I began to destroy the pizza 🍕. The restaurant was clean, the staff was professional and the Manager Maria ensured that everything was served according to my liking. If you are in the area, this is your place.

The Host’s energy was infectious. Katherine’s customer service was absolutely outstanding , as she was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we sat down. The Sangria was fantastic, ad it was refreshing, well-balanced, and packed with flavor - no alcohol. As for the Vegan pizza, it was decent, yet did the job. My Sister enjoyed her Holy Shiitake pizza. Overall, the experience was elevated by Katherine’s thoughtful and friendly service.

I've driven past Mellow Mushroom lots of times because I didn't know what it was! A friend had told me she had the best pizza of her life there so I went to check it out and the food did not disappoint. The crust on our pizza was so good and truthfully my mushroom soup was one of the best I could recall having. We also got some beautiful salads and enjoyed amazing customer service. I would highly recommend!

Google
TRASH. Chicken wing were served undercooked, pizza was absolutely flavorless, and when I tried reaching out to management they continuously hung up on me. Been sick for 2 days vomiting with a bad stomach. Regular from the Marietta location, top notch everything from the restaurant decor, service, to the food and drinks- this one tho was NOTHING close to it. Midtown location is fabulous as well. THIS location was plain, the food had ZERO flavor,I have never had a pizza that tasted like nothing. Qt has better pizza! The wings were the hottest flavor they had and they weren’t even hot. They SMELLED hot, yet tasted sweet? Super odd. Based upon all that the conclusion is this location is GARBAGE. 0/10 would never recommend.

Charlie has always been such a wonderful bartender! He’s very friendly and extremely attentive! He’s the main reason I love coming here!!

Great service! Quick and friendly. Food was good portion size and perfectly cooked. The manager also treated us right.

Came in for the first time for lunch. Ordered a small salad and a slice of pizza. The small house salad was delicious w/fresh Parmesan, onions, tomatoes and black olives. Great blue cheese dressing (real blue cheese with chunks). Curtis, my waiter was Very attentive. Salad, slice of pizza and a fountain drink was all under nine dollars. Can’t beat that deal !

I have organized a few outings with my MeetUp group here. There is a family atmosphere. Right now (Feb. 2025), they have TRIVIA on Wednesday evenings at 7pm. The trivia was a lot of fun.

Yelp
Some of the best pizza you can get in the Atlanta area. Yes it is a chain but it is darn good! The vibe is always mellow and cool in a Mellow Mushroom. You can count on that. This is a plainer location and less funky than most I have been too. It doesn't have the Mellow Mushroom psychedelic vibe as strong as other locations I've been too. However the pizza was great! My son and I got the meatza... an 8 slice carnivore extravaganza with flavor so good it will wake up your taste buds and have them dancing the hustle wanting more! The pizza is not this thin nothing with a few toppings... it is a hearty crust loaded with pure meat goodness and a flavorful sauce that had me full at 2 pieces! There is a full bar here as well if you need an adult beverage. Our server was good... but we didn't require too much either. Highly suggest eating here or just about any MM around Atlanta! Really really good!

Yelp
Amazing location. Pizza is good, Cobb salad with chicken is a little expensive but a 10/10 meal. They always look out on the drinks, dressings, silverware etc, staff is friendly and the vibe is on point. Outstanding restaurant

Yelp
It was very bad, I have two kids and they both don't like the place so I'm by myself and wanted to go. I ordered sausage and meatball and they gave me half sausage half meatball which is fine but they barely had any meats I'm talking one ball per slice!!!

Yelp
My brother and I came to this Mellow on his quest to review all the Mellow Mushrooms in Atlanta (he claims the country, but no way he's doing that) and to watch the Texas Tech-Florida game, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it! To echo his point, from what we saw it definitely doesn't warrant a 3.5 rating. The host was kind and sat us with a smile, and our server was prompt and attentive. The pizza came out surprisingly quick by Mellow Mushroom standards, and everything tasted great. Ambiance wise it definitely wasn't as fun and eclectic as some of the other Mellows in the Atlanta area, but I think that's more a reflection on the city of Dunwoody than the Mellow itself. Aside from watching my March Madness dreams unravel live in front of me (RIP Texas Tech), I had a great time and would definitely go again.
google avatar

Patrick R.

Yelp
Standards must be high in Dunwoody because this Mellow Mushroom is way better than a 3.5! I'm on a quest to review all of America's Mellow Mushrooms, and this Dunwoody Mellow marks #9 of 170. Dunwoody Mellow's most distinct quality is it's architecture. In the 70s the City of Dunwoody opted to construct all their buildings in a "Colonial Williamsburg" style, and this Mellow wasn't exempt from Dunwoody's colonial fever. The neighborhood's business composition (E.g., Walgreens, this Mellow Mushroom, H&R Block) screams "suburban Atlanta," but their architecture suggests that a raid from Chief Powhatan is imminent. Luckily, the "Starving Times" never afflicted my brother and I. Our Large Funky Q specialty pizza was top notch, and our server was a nice individual who-- though he doesn't harvest tobacco like the 1620s Williamsburg residents--certainly smokes it. Interior decor was about average relative to other Mellows, pizza got to us way faster than other Mellows, and the vibes were wonderful and family oriented. There was even a high school date in the booth next to us! Pocahontas and John Smith, anyone?

William B.

Yelp
Good place to go for pizza, calzones are large. Staff is pleasant and willing to accommodate special requests on preparation. Ambiance and atmosphere is fine.

Yelp
I went to Atlanta for a graduation and a friend suggested I try here. This pizza was so delicious. I enjoyed every bite! Everyone here was so nice. My only complaint is that there's no location where I live in Houston! Pleaseeee come to Houston!!

Sly C.

Yelp
I go here often and I would say the food and service range from not good to really good, with the average coming in a mid+. The ambiance is about what you would expect for a Mellow Mushroom, but this one occasionally hosts spirit nights, where they basically invite some organization, usually a school, to eat there and they donate 10% of the receipts to the organization. That is all well and good. But this place basically allows a free for all for the kids, I mean kids are literally running through the restaurant bumping into other patrons, screaming at the top of their lungs. I mean its compete chaos and completely unfair to diners who were unaware that Mellow had been transformed into Chuckie Cheese for the night. At minimum they should warn non-spirit night customers what they are in for and let them make an informed decision on whether to dine in or not. They could isolate the wildness to the backroom or the patio, but this place isn't that thoughtful or respectful to their normal clientele. You would think the management of this restaurant would care more, I mean someone is going to get hurt. I saw a kid bounce off and elderly gentleman and he almost went to the ground. Or a kid is going to slip on the notoriously slippery floors and get hurt. Do better Mellow!

Giselle S.

Yelp
I've never actually dined in, I always carry out but the pizza is so good! Service is usually quick. Very trippy, cute place. I always dip my pizza crust in the Esperanza dressing. SO GOOD! I've never been disappointed and I've tried their wings and a couple apps too.

Yelp
This is typical mellow mushroom with the somewhat psychedelic vibes one expects inside. Ordered a large pizza and "pretzel" bites for take out and received them without an issue. However the pizza was so light on cheese it had me wondering if they put medium amount on for the large? Maybe it's just a case of shrinkflation, either way was disappointed in the pie I ate here years ago an remember it being fine which is why it's getting a 3 and not a 2.

Yelp
We recently came back to mellow mushroom for a family pizza night with some relatives, and were pleasantly surprised by the renovation that they had done. The interior is so much brighter and more colorful. We loved it!! The food is always delicious and we got the holy shiitake pizza, Greek salad and pretzel bites. There wasn't anything left at the end of the meal either. Our server was very attentive and came back several times to see how we were doing. Also, they have a changing table in the men's restroom as well which is great for today's modern families that share this responsibility.

Yelp
Our family loves this location. We bring our small, leashed dogs and dine on the covered patio. The food has always been hot and delicious and the service is amazing. The fact that we can have our sweet pups with us at dinner is a wonderful plus. Parking is also good.

Yelp
Came to Mellow Mushroom with a few friends and ordered the artichoke dip, pizza and strawberry something cocktail... the food was amazing and the drink was delicious! Our server Will was very knowledgeable of the menu and attentive to our table. He made the experience even better. The ambience was a bit lowkey compared to the other mellow mushrooms I have been to but that's no big deal; we sat on the patio which was very comfortable. When you visit Mellow be sure to ask for Will!

Ralph G.

Yelp
Pizza was flavorful, pie was ready when posted, and only complaint was their request for an order name, and I gave them my first and last name, which caused a problem when they asked for the order name. Giving them my first name, no order was found. Continuing their search, I offered my last name, which they then began searching again, finally finding the order.... The convention should be, "Thank you & may I have a first name (OR last) for the order?"

Yelp
Mellow Mushroom is always a solid pizza chain option that still has a "neighborhood"-esque feel. I don't usually do outdoor dining often, but after COVID and also getting a pup, I have definitely explored more dog-friendly patios. I couldn't choose just one pizza, so I ended up ordering TWO in one. I love that you can order two pizzas in one. I got half Mighty Meaty and half Buffalo Chicken. A little salty with all that meat but not overly so. The lady who brought out our pizza LOVED on my pup so much, she asked if she could bring her a treat - she came out with a handful of sliced ham LOL and my pup LOVED it. Note - dogs really shouldn't eat cold cuts... too high in sodium. But it was the thought that counts, so I was thankful. Mellow Mushroom in Dunwoody Village is a super convenient location to grab pizza for dine in or takeout. Can't wait to stop by for another bite to eat on the patio... once the weather starts to cool down!

Yelp
Horrible customer service! The cashier, who was white, addressed 3-4 while customers behind me, while I stood at the counter waiting to be checked out. She didn't acknowledge me. When I brought it to her attention that I'd been waiting, after another employee brought me my pizzas, she scoffed and rolled her eyes. The customers that she addressed were also white. If this is how you treat your Black customers, with disregard, while offering your white ones, impeccable customer service, trust I'll take my money elsewhere.

Yelp
We were visiting family in the area for a funeral and decided to honor our friend with a couple of Mellow Mushroom Pizzas. RIP: Michael Reeves Thanks Dunwoody! Your Pizza is awesome!

Yelp
Our favorite pizza in Georgia. My family loves Mellow Mushroom Dunwoody. They have something for everyone. My wife is Vegan. Mellow has quite a few vegan options. They do have vegan cheese. She loves the pizza dough and crust. She adds her favorite veggies and is in heaven. My favorite is the Holy Shiitake pie. A waitress once suggested adding bacon. Great suggestion. We have been going there for many years and is at the top of our list when we get a craving for pizza.

Yelp
I wish I could give Mellow Mushroom more stars as it was once at the top of the Atlanta pizza game, but the quality seems to be tailing off. Like many of the iconic Atlanta restaurant brands, perhaps the competition has caught and surpassed the older establishments. The pizza was fine but not cooked all the way through, the pretzel bites were tasty, they were out of some of the better beers on their beer list, and the server didn't seem into us being there...the experience was meh.

Yelp
We were in the area with the kids, and I was making a side excursion to Moon Dog Growler but got sidetracked by hunger. It didn't take much to get a family vote on Mellow Mushroom. I've been to quite a few Mellow locations, but have always seemed to miss this one. It's at the heart of Dunwoody and not hard to spot. Parking is plentiful here since it's a stand alone location. They offer up both covered outdoor seating (always a plus) and indoor booths/tables/bar. Mellow is very family friendly, and most of the vibe within is very 70s/80s, which I love! This spot has a ton of hypnotic signs and colors that hit you in the face from the bar. The draft selection is strong here (Tropicalia on draft!) and they have some decent wines. Kids menus supply a couple good options, although we came for the Za! We ordered a large cheese pizza for our entree and got the pretzel appetizer and pretzel bites to start. The pretzels were ok, wasn't a big fan of the beer mustard. My honey's daughter loved them though bc of the salt. The pretzel bites, with beer cheese, were amazing. I wanted to drench those suckers in that beer cheese goodness! My honey ordered a lil salad and she got a huge one instead. Their lil salads are not so little. The cheese pizza was perfect, and I love their crust so much! My honey even mentioned she liked the crust ... score! The kids were happy, although my honey's daughter seems to be way too picky on her pizza and prefers papa johns. Overall, another solid mellow location and worth hitting with the family or friends.

Yelp
I stopped by the Dunwoody location for a take out order on 4/3/20. I placed the order online before they opened at 11am. Online ordering was simple! There is a $4.99 fee for delivery so I opted to go pick it up. I ordered a medium half and half pizza. You get to choose 2 different "specialty pies". I chose half of their house special and half of the holy shitake. The house special pizza is loaded with toppings! It starts with red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, ground beef, ham, applewood smoked bacon, mushrooms, black olives, roma tomatoes, green peppers, and onions. Topped with extra mozzarella. Nothing is left out! The "Holy Shitake"wasy favorite. It's an olive oil and garlic base, shiitake, button and portobello mushrooms, caramelized onions, mozzarella, and MontAmoré®. Finished with a garlic aioli swirl and a spritz of black truffle oil. Garnished with fresh chives and shaved parmesan. I really loved this one and the fresh chives on top really make this one special in my opinion. The pizza was hot and ready when I arrived at 11:15am. They opened the box to show me the pizza before I left. I really enjoyed this pizza! They don't skimp on the toppings like other places. But I especially liked the crust. It had a bite with some good chew. And it really holds up well with all the toppings. Next time you think about getting pizza definitely try Mellow Mushroom! I will be back!

Yelp
Dunwoody Management: Learn to stop taking orders when staff is clearly overwhelmed. Shouldn't take 3 hours to get a f-ing large cheese pizza. Do yourself a favor, order from Dominos and save the hassle. It's not that good.
google avatar

Yelp
Terrible gluten free and wrong ingredient on my pizza mainly in the missing ingredient department

Annie D.

Yelp
I've never had to walk out of a restaurant before without paying because no one would help us. Couldn't get our server or the manager to even speak to us after half our order never showed up. Half of my family ate their food after waiting over an hour for 1 pizza (that showed up cold). After another 30 minutes, we were still waiting for the other to show up. 2 separate times, we got up to check where the pizza is. Spoke to the manager who pointed to our supposed pizza and said "it's right here." Still 10 minutes later we have no pizza. Finally, After the people behind us got there food (they showed up 45 minutes after us), the whole table got up to get some help, no one would speak to us so the host told us it was fine to leave. Most bizarre experience of my life. Ended up at Village Burger where we were able to get food in 10 minutes.

Yelp
Great food as with any other Mellow Mushroom. Recommend the mushroom pizza. Ordered for pickup and the pizza was ready before I made it to the store.
google avatar

Bobbie H.

Yelp
the pizza is great. the service is okay. i have to try something else on the menu. i'm a huge fan of the shiitake pizza, but i haven't ventured into the rest of their menu. the service was so slow that we ended up practically getting our food to go once we got it. i ate my soup and boxed up my pizza. the cosmic decor is indicative of a modern-day day pizza joint. will be back when i have more time.
google avatar

Scott C.

Yelp
Mellow was once "a little more expensive for outrageously awesome pizza"! That may still be the case at some locations. My experience at this location is "a lot more expensive for outrageously average pizza".
google avatar

Kiora H.

Yelp
Came in one random late afternoon with my boyfriend for some pizza. They have a great selection on their menu. You can make your own pizza, choose one of their specialty pizzas or have a hoagie and so much more. We decided to have the BBQ chicken pizza which was delicious. The sauce was tangy and it came with chicken and bacon. I always love the dough they use here too. I wish it had pineapples on it but it's fine that it didn't. And yes I'm one of those people that likes pineapples on pizza..FIGHT ME. They were randomly doing face painting for kids in there that day too. It was super cute idk if it was a special day for it but great place to take the kids. Also if you check in on yelp you get free pretzel bites! Which honestly the bites are just the crust with dipping sauce but no complaints here.

Margaret W.

Yelp
Every time we come here we have a terrible experience. we ordered a small pizza for pick up and got a medium (which we were charged for). then it was terrible quality. if you're going to charge premium prices for your pizza then I expect better quality. it's worth driving extra to avoid this location.

Brian K.

Yelp
I have been coming to this Mellow Mushroom since it opened in 1998(?)--almost 25 years and I come here a lot, whether for pizza for the family or to grab a few beers after work. We are talking at least 1,000+ visits at this point. The pizza dough is made fresh daily at the Mellow Mushroom "commissary" , which is a central kitchen that distributes the dough each morning to all the locations in the area (which is why I am confused by reviews claiming the crust is better at some other location... that is not logically possible). This fresh dough bakes up to a perfect combination of crunch and chewy. As a side note, it is vegan, which is hard to imagine given my experience with other vegan bread products--this is definitely the exception to that rule. The toppings are fresh and are not skimpy (although who would not want a double pepperoni anyway?). Some of my favorite non-pizza items include: --Jerk Wings: These are baked in their ovens and have a wonderful jerk spice coating with a bit of a kick. --Salads: Design your own with exactly what you want on it or take one of the very good predesigned options off the menu --Hamburgers: Somewhat surprisingly, especially considering my very high standard for burgers, Mellow makes very good burgers On the topic of staff... Across the last two-and-a-half decades, I have seen many employees come and go as is normal in the restaurant business, but while some have simply moved on to other careers, many have been promoted to manage other stores or joined the overall corporate Mellow Mushroom organization, illustrating just how good they are at their jobs. If I think back on them, everyone--the managers, employees, and bartenders that I have had over those years--have always provided excellent service on the few occasions where something went wrong (such as getting the wrong pizza when they are super busy), it has always been corrected as quickly as one could reasonably expect. This ends my review, but I cannot help but comment on some of the other reviews that I have read... There have been reviews written that sometimes it takes a long time to get a pizza... I agree that that can happen, but I can do math. They have two ovens and they can put two pizzas in each at once (four pizzas into an empty oven), then about every two minutes, they can add four more as the pizzas move on a conveyer belt. That means about 120 pizzas an hour. Now, assume they are packed (as on a Friday night) and seat about 250 people including the patio. If every pair of people order a pizza, you are looking at someone getting their pizza in an hour. And that is excluding the takeout business, which is double their in-house business. No one is hiding this--everyone is told up front how long it will take (particularly for takeout where they will proactively tell you that). I understand that some people might not like it (heck, I don't like it), but you have to face reality instead of just complaining. If you want pizzas that can be made in 3.5 minutes and taste like cardboard, feel free to text an emoji to a certain fast food pizza joint. You get what you pay for--sometimes in money, but also sometimes in time. The end result -- the quality provided by Mellow Mushroom -- is worth both.

Shannon ..

Yelp
I use them for catering and they were prompt the food was hot the order was correct and we were all happy!

Yelp
Mellow Mushroom was great for an afternoon pizza. They were doing a kids night thing or something, and it was super cute for a kid that surprised his mom with a ninja turtle face paint mask. Hilarious. His happiness was everything and more. But about the food. We had the funky q chicken pizza and it was super good. As well as the pretzel bites. They are a must have if you're looking for something to split.

Yelp
I was wanting pizza and haven't had Mellow Mushroom in awhile. I decided to ordered it to go. The ordering process was simple and quick. The worker on line was able to answer any questions that I had in reference to pizza sizes and salad preferences. They said it'll take about 25 minutes and it did. When I got there, the person did seem a little confused and where my order was but the found quickly. I had to pay at a different window. I didn't notice there was a to go area due to the door, I came in. The restaurant was similar to other mellow mushrooms I've been to. It had the eclectic but chill feel. I ordered a lil Caesar salad and the veg out pizza (10 inch) and added pepperonis. The pizza could of honestly fed 3 ppl easily and that was the smallest size they have! The pizza was great and their crust is to die for. Definitely order from mellow!

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick bite and first time ever trying Mellow Mushroom so was curious how their pizzas compare to the plethora of pizza options. Overall the pizza was pretty good and held its place well (ordered a cheese with addition of sausage). The crust was well cooked, crispy yet chewy. They must use a wheat/honey based dough because the crust was a tad sweet and wheaty, in a good way. It did come out a bit oily, maybe because of the added sausage or maybe the cheese exuded a but more grease than usual, so I used the napkin trick and sopped up the excess oil. I reduced a star off my rating primarily because the tables from prior guests were not bussed the entire time we ate our lunch and that made it unpleasant to be eating next to an empty table with dirty plates and napkins. I would not go out of my way to revisit but if I needed a decent pizza while passing through i would be fine going back.

Yelp
Over the years I've eaten at many Mellow Mushroom locations - as far away as Savannah and as close to where I live as the one on Northlake Drive. This particular location is my choice when at work (I'm currently near Perimeter Mall). Sure there's a closer location on Roswell Rd right off the interstate, however I believe this location to be superior to that one - plus it has ample parking and a large backroom for dining overflow. I've always gotten superior service at this location as well - add everything up and you've got a good, overall experience worth the extra few minutes of drive time. As with other Mellow Mushroom locations, one of the superior aspects of this used-to-be-local chain is the tasty wheat crust. These are hand-slung pies so it can be tough to get the gluten-consistency quite right with wheat dough - MM excels here. In general the ingredients are fresh and at this location abundant. They don't skimp on the ingredients and if anything this Dunwoody location is a bit heavy-handed. Doesn't bother me but may others, especially if you aren't into the various sauces. After your first visit you may want to ask for "light on the sauce" The Mellow Mushroom of old I think in general was better - before they starting packaging the sauces and dressings - while the consistency varied a bit, there was a bit more authenticity then that's now missing. I think this happened when they franchised but there's always a bit of cost to progress. However, for a chain I think they do an exceptional job. I especially like some of the specialty pies, in particular the Cosmic Karma and the Magical Mystery Tour. In general I prefer meaty pies so for me to recommend two very veggie pies, you know they must be good. These are for the discriminating pizza aficionado - very distinctive and unusual flavors that you don't commonly find in other pizza joints. I also like the scattering of parmesan cheese that's crumbled on the crust. Other items I recommend are the calzones (I frequently get the chicken calzone - add jalepenos) and both the Greek and Spinach salads (this latter comes with full strips of bacon goodness that really make the salad special) - pair with the balsamic vinaigrette - the medium is large enough to split between two people. Like the other locations this one has a distinctive decor with a community theme and plenty of flat panel TVs to view the ever-present sports channel. Due to the size of the dining room, I've never had to wait for a seat at this location - another boon, especially at lunch.

Yelp
Love my local 'shroom. Been going there for 15 years or so. They really, really have to fix the lights. It's lit up like a hospital cafeteria. We've told management about it. Still not fixed and tonight we went another spot across the street. Food is always great. Service is good too (albeit mellow) but the lights are so darn bright...

Scott S.

Yelp
Consistently omit 1 item from takeout order. I should have learned by now to check while in restaurant.

Yelp
This branch is beyond bad. The lettuce on salad is visibly old. The pizza sauce is straight from a can. Absolutely avoid this location.

Yelp
So I am a huge Mellow Mushroom fan. I just absolutely love their pizza, calzones, Parmesan pretzels, and Greek salad with Esperanza dressing. There is something about their dough that just makes it one of my favorite pizzas. It is not my favorite pizza of all time, but it is my favorite chain by far. Being in Atlanta we are lucky to have access to so many locations. I have been enjoying Mellow Mushroom since I moved to Atlanta in 1991. One thing you have to understand about Mellow Mushroom is that the service is often "Mellow." Not necessarily overly slow, but just laid back. Your food is made carefully to order and fresh, so just be willing to be patient. Again, it is by no means overly slow. If you live in Atlanta, you are already likely pretty familiar with Mellow Mushroom. This location is located in the Dunwoody Village area. It is easy to miss because so many of the buildings in the area look the same and signage restrictions make for little, low signs. Parking is no issue. Gets busy especially during the week at lunch, but never overly crowded to keep you from getting in and out quickly enough. They do pizza by the slice if you want to speed things up. Me personally, I prefer to wait and get a fresh pie. Like most Mellow Mushrooms, service is consistently decent, food is delicious and fresh, and prices are fair.

Ha- Its Mellow Mushroom! Restaurant is clean. Food is good and the menu is broad. What is there not to like? I often take guests and family from out of town here and its always a hit. Oh, the manager Ben is so cute too!

Yelp
When we were seated I noticed they had plenty of staff when a lot of food establishments are short staffed. They were about 20% occupied. The server brought us water and never returned to take our order

Yelp
Came 15 minutes after the time they said my pizza would be ready, and I still waited an hour in the building. I was told half a dozen times "they were cutting my pizza right now". Trash

Yelp
The dough is chewy, which is not something I like. I don't like it because It makes me feel full and bloated all day. Ordered a large 1/2 n 1/2 - mushroom and buffalo chicken with regular base. The quality of the cheese is nothing to write about but it's not cheap either. The mushroom half of the pizza was a bit greasy, but I guess that's due to the truffle oil. The oil didn't feel very authentic. The buffalo portion was unimpressive and I bit dry. If you are like me who eats pizzas infrequently, like them light, great ingredients and a bit light on cheese then this is not the place for you. For the money I guess, it's a good value.

Yelp
Trying to appease all different palates is hard. The adults are the easy one, but it's the kids who make it tough. There were plenty of other places I would have loved to have gone to, but in the end, it was all about making sure the kids would eat. So Mellow Mushroom seemed to be a good choice. They both like pizza. Little did I know that my daughter seems to favor Papa John's, and only had one piece. I tried some of hers, and I can't believe she could choose Papa's over Mellow. We had ordered a large cheese pizza, and wow, that is like the grande at Starbucks. It was massive. I mean, I am sure this would feed about six people. The crust is nice, soft, but yet crispy. It was so good. The only downside was the amount of sauce, because I like a lot, but sure that could have been accommodated prior to the order. I had some salad with pecans and feta cheese, and cherries. The balsamic dressing was very good, and I really liked that the amount of toppings was plentiful. Usually places like to skimp on things like nuts and cheese, but not here. The dried cherries were also a nice touch, because I rarely have that as an option on my salad. Moving backwards, we had started with the pretzels. We got the pretzel bites, and the whole pretzels. One came with beer cheese. Now I don't drink beer, but somehow you put that with cheese, and dip your pretzel bite, and you've now got a mouthful of goodness. I also love the marinara sauce that you can also dip your pretzel into. Very good, and comes out warm. It's a carb lover's dream. I honestly could make a meal out of the pretzels, but was feeling guilty, so I added some roughage into my meal. They have beer, wine, and drinks, which is a great asset to any restaurant. Good service, too. I can't say it's gourmet, but it certainly cures anyone hungry for some good carb loading.

Yelp
Avoid this place like a plague. Seriously, I don't think it even deserves a true review. If you dare to step foot into this establishment, prepare yourself for long waits, horrible service, late food, paper cups and menus, and unclean tables. But really, do not come here. The end.

Yelp
The pizza was good, unfortunately it had the wrong cheese. I asked for vegan cheese since I have a dairy allergy and woke up at 3AM with an all too familiar feeling.

Yelp
Multiple times I'm missing the extras i paid for. Pretty steep for dressing so don't bother because you won't get it anyway, even if you leave a good tip.
