Mellow Mushroom Roswell

Great spot for freshly baked pizza with some unique toppings and options. We got the cheese bread and wings to start and they were good. Pizza was the highlight - we got the mushroom pizza with truffle oil.

Ever since we lost the Mellow near our house in FL, we look for one any time we're on the road. This Mellow had the best bar area of any that we've ever visited, and we've visited a lot! The bar area was set up perfectly. The pizza was spot on, they had Labatt on draught, what more could we ask for!?!

I love everything about this place; the staff, food, and atmosphere. Nice patio and the open-air seating area is shaded by an amazing pecan tree. It's HUGE! Open mic nights out back on Thursdays is a personal favorite. The staff is great. It's totally worth becoming a regular for their friendly treatment. Awesome pizza of course but delicious salads too if you are looking for something on the healthier side. Last but not least, the bar with the long wall of tasty beers on tap... Yum! Put everything together and you've found your new favorite hangout. Cheers!

Donata is the absolute sweetest!! She took great care of my family. What a kind, sweet professional she is :) Let's talk about McKenzie, too. Service was on point! She was on her game for us. Excellent pizza and a great restaurant! I’ve ordered takeout multiple times here, eaten a few times at the restaurant and it is consistently good. The mighty meaty is the best pizza on the planet and they do it justice here every time. The restaurant is pretty big including a bar area, a main dining room and an outdoor dining area that includes a play area for the kids.

This location is a chill 😎 comfortable spot with really good service. You know what to expect from the pizza 🍕 at Mellow. It's a good pie with a nice crust. The thun crust is my fav, but the gluten-free is damn good. My overwhelming takeaway is how satisfied I am with the exceptional service. Their beer 🍺 selection could be better, but it works. My go to pizza us pepperoni and jalapeño. They nail it every time.

I’ve been a Mellow Mushroom fan since the 1980s — back when the Sandy Springs location at Johnson Ferry and Roswell Road was my go-to spot. So it pains me to write this. I placed a takeout order from this location for a large pizza (sausage, black olives, half mushrooms), two orders of beer cheese, and a lil’ Greek salad — just under $50 total. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. The pizza was undercooked, the crust doughy, and there was very little sauce. About 90% of the sausage ended up on just two slices, and the mushrooms were burnt and sad-looking. The beer cheese was inedible — gritty and off-tasting. The only thing we actually finished was the salad, which was fresh and tasty. We ended up throwing out the pizza and beer cheese, which was really disheartening. This isn’t the first time we’ve had a disappointing experience at this location, so I’ve made a mental note to stick with other locations — like the newer one in Sandy Springs — when I’m craving that classic Mellow Mushroom flavor I used to love.

We had a lovely experience! We sat outside and our server was phenomenal. Always checking in and making sure we were all good! The food was super yummy! Special bonus there was live music when we went on that Saturday! The atmosphere was just what we wanted!
