"Retro bowling alley open till the wee hours of the night! A great place to grab some drinks and food while enjoying one of Americas pastimes. Be sure to stop by the bar and ask for "Pete's Special," served up by their easily-recognizable bartender, Pete." - Amanda DeRosa & Alexandra Marino

"For Simone Leitner, not being able to bowl has put one of her most treasured ways of socializing on hold. Before the pandemic, she co-hosted the Brooklyn-based queer comedy night Open Flame and had found a home away from home at Sunset Park’s Melody Lanes, where she loved to take dates and friends." - Emma Orlow

Neighborhood staple bowling spot. People come here for fun and bday celebrations. Standard fried foods, soda pitchers, and a good time. Bathroom is very clean, w paper towels on the bottom of the soap dispensers to catch drip, i loved that. Spacious bowling lanes and friendly price and staff.

Celebrated my friend's birthday here. Took her for surprise bowling. We had a blast. Things are not the same as pre pandemic, but then again, what is. It's still a good place for bowling.

Had a work event with about 20 people. We had a great time bowling, however they added a 25% gratuity to the bill (which is normal for larger groups) but then there was a staff member that was aggressive with us as we were leaving, asking for tips. We mentioned the 25% that we paid and he said he didn't get any of that money. He didn't do anything but hover around us and we never asked for a personal attendant and figured a 25% tip would be split among the staff. The bartender was also super aggressive and rude about tipping. I know that's a separate business but she was confrontational as we placed our first drink order and didn't let up. You don't get in people's faces and act rude off the jump if you want to be tipped. She gave us limes with a beer order and when one of our party asked her for a lime slice for a drink he purchased she spitefully claimed she didn't have limes, even though they were in a container right next to her. We did have fun, but the way some of the staff treated us left a pretty bad taste. I know they are separate entities, but the owners really need to make sure that staff is friendly. I would go bowling there again, but never with a group.

This is a good place for a quick game of bowling. I came here with my wife and daughter on a Saturday around 1pm and was playing a game in no time. They have drinks for the adults and kids as well as food. I could definitely see myself coming back here in the future.

The wait is really long on weekends so I’d recommend on weekday. Bowling is a once a while thing anyway. Place is somewhat clean. There is food but they open later in the day and it’s a bit pricey. Shoes are rentals.

We had a great experience during open bowl on a Wednesday afternoon. Lanes, facilities, balls, equipment was all in great shape. Two games with shoe rental included only $20 per person.

I've never been there before, and first impressions of the place was decent and enjoyable. I had a great time with coworkers for our first outing after everything started opening. Not to brag but had the highest score of all the games. Regardless, just visit and have a wonderful time.

I loved it. First time ever going there will be coming back with my grandkids they truly enjoyed themselves. I was happy watching them. Very affordable compare to those other places we visited in the city. Convenient to get to. The arcade was nice. They can use some more games other than that I will be going back to bowl. With friends. And my babies
