The biggest complaint I have is that my camera is broken so I couldn't take a decent photo of my gigantic and delicious bloody Mary. Its brilliance knows no bounds... it was covered in an olive, pickle, onion and asparagus, oh and also a bacon cheeseburger slider and four fried cheese curds. Because Wisconsin, I love you. And in case that isn't over the top, there's a tiny can of miller. According to boyfriend, Wisconsin just likes an excuse for a beer chaser. Sure, whatever, I'm behind it. At $13 it's a bit steep, but considering what you get I believe it's reasonable.
Now, alright, the food. All quite delicious. Boyfriend got bacon eggs and hash browns- a traditional breakfast. I got a bagel sandwich with eggs, bacon, avocado, tomato, and cream cheese, hash browns on the side. Plus we split an order of the biscuits and gravy. The half.
As a southerner, I was impressed by the gravy. However the biscuits I will not be writing home to mama about. They were fine. The gravy boasted two kinds of sausage... while I still think my own biscuits and gravy are better, theirs is solid.
Sliiight complaint about the bagel sandwich (blat? I think it was called). The eggs were not folded or molded at all, so it was near impossible to eat the sandwich in the traditional way of picking it up and putting it in your mouth. The eggs were at least an inch all the way around. (First world problems, I know).
Boyfriend says they slice their own bacon. I wouldn't know, but it was as delicious as any bacon... so? Helpful? Haha I apologize; I'm useless.
So okay. I saw some people fussing about the carpets in their reviews. I, for one, did not even notice if they were stained. Our service was excellent. The food came out hella quick. The patrons are primarily families and older people... not a bad thing, just a statement.
So! Go. Plan on waiting a few minutes and dropping at least $15-20/person. I wouldn't spend $10 on a crepe with nutella and banana but that's just a suggestion. Enjoy!
