What’s Closed, How to Help, Plus Stories of Hope After Nashville’s Christmas Day Bombing | Eater Nashville

"After the Christmas morning explosion on Second Avenue, I learned that The Melting Pot was among the food- and beverage-related businesses on downtown’s historic Second Avenue that Metro Codes deemed unsafe to enter in the week of cleanup; because of the severity of the damage, no one is allowed to enter to salvage anything." - Eater Staff

We enjoyed our 18 month wedding anniversary dinner here earlier this week. Ian was our server and he was very friendly & attentive and did a great job making all the fondues for us. We had the Wisconsin cheddar, steak lovers and the smores, all were delicious and perfect! We’ve been coming here for years and every time the experience is wonderful! We love to see the Christmas decor too, always a great spot for a photo op! One thing I would recommend is the seat cushions are getting pretty flat and uncomfortable so perhaps upgrading that would enhance the dining experience more.

Absolutely loved this place and our server Elizabeth was phenomenal. Excellent customer service and menu. This an intimate expierence in a historic building, we sat in a booth tucked away and slowly enjoyed a great course of fondue's. The Wisconsin cheese was a great, but it was a very hard choice. We had the trio off the menu that included a second fondue pot with seasoned broth in which cooked bite sized shrimp, filet mignon, teriyaki bites, chicken, pork and ravioli. Followed by a toffee chocolate fondue desert with a mixed variety for dipping... lets not forget wine is half price at lunch. It was a great mid week birthday 🎂 brunch venue with my sister! Thank you!! PS she recommends visiting weekdays vs weekends, apparently it gets a little crazy on weekends.

Google
I know this place is a staple and a chain restaurant, but man, is it cool. Pick your cheese, pick your veggies, melt, dip, and enjoy. Then move on to proteins and more veggies, pick your broth to cook them in, cook, and enjoy. Then pick your chocolate, your fruits, your gluten-free treats, or gluten-plus treats, melt, dip, and enjoy. The cheesecake is great too. Service is awesome, and the décor is super cool as well. Plan to spend about 1.5 hours here. Great place, great food, great service, great times.

Google
Went to the Littleton location last night to celebrate my birthday and it was an amazing experience and hands down the best meal I've had in years (especially since I moved from the East coast). The waiter was extremely friendly and charming and the timing of everything and the attention to detail made sure that our 4 course meal did not go too fast or too slow, but just right. Amazing experience and highly recommend!

Google
Definitely an experience. I always found it odd cooking my own food; and it's pricey... About $60 for lunch per person. Staff was great and food was good. Fun place to eat and the restaurant is absolutely a gorgeous old library. We'll try the oils next time :) has the mojo this time with the four course and a bottle of wine which is half off early Saturday afternoons btw.

Google
So much fondue fun! 🫕 I was told the Melting Pot was the whole experience, and it did not disappoint 👏 Had reservations and arrived on time and was seated within 5 min. I had "the big night out" 4 course service which was fantastic from start to finish 👏 many choices for the cheese 1st course, but I enjoyed the Fiesta this trip which was served with bread, veggies and fruits. Second course I ordered the house salad with Ranch. Nothing to call home about, but was a nice segway to the protein course which is featured in the picture. I went with the Coq au vin "Rooster in wine" setting which was a wonderful choice. This was served with teriyaki glazed sirloin, seasoned chicken cubes, filet cubes, Atlantic salmon, shrimp, and mushroom ravioli. After this course I was surprised I still had room for the chocolate service! The turtle 🐢 chocolate service was a perfect ending to this fabulous experience which had chocolate, caramel, and pecans served with a variety of marshmallows, fruit, cake, cookies and brownies for dipping. Looking forward to another service in the near future, but will probably A la cart for a cheese and chocolate service as those were my favorites, and maybe finish with a pour of the Louis XIII. Fantastic job Melting Pot, I'll be seeing you again soon, cheers! 🍻

We love coming to The Melting Pot in Littleton for our special occasions—birthdays, anniversaries, and celebrations of all kinds. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff are always so kind, attentive, and genuinely focused on making the evening special. One thing we really appreciate is their “Cuisine for a Cause” program—each month, they offer a special menu that donates a portion to local Colorado charities and organizations. It’s such a thoughtful touch and makes dining here feel even more meaningful. The food is consistently outstanding, with high-quality ingredients and rich, delicious flavors. The four-course dinners for two are our go-to, offering a full fondue experience from start to finish—cheese, salad, entrée, and of course, their amazing chocolate fondue for dessert. You can also customize your meal with a variety of meats, seafood, and veggies for the entrées. They have great options for every mood: classic cheese fondues with artisan breads and fruits, “Forever Fondue” all-you-can-enjoy entrées, lunch and happy hour specials, and even fun group menus like the “MeltOut.” Everything is prepared with care and makes for such a unique and interactive dining experience. Every visit feels like a special event filled with great food, laughter, and connection. Highly recommend The Melting Pot in Littleton for anyone looking for a memorable evening out with family or friends.

Google
It was my nephews bday. He loves the experience. It's more than just eating a meal. The wait or Steven was fantastic. He was personable and efficient he made it fun! The guest before us ran over time wise, so we had a long wait time. The management gave us a charcuterie board to make up for it. The staff never made us feel rushed, considering our late start. The food was good for me it wasn't the greatest boiled meat! It's tasty, but I would have ordered cooked in oil.The cheese fondue was really good, the desert was good. Overall, it was a great experience. The staff was fantastic food and experience excellent.

Yelp
Such a fun thing to do from a romantic date all the way to fun with kids! We came for my son's birthday and had a blast. The kids thought I was being silly on purpose drive here as they couldn't believe we were going to be given our food raw to cook ourselves. They quickly realized the truth and the fun began. Overall the servers were great, they were very clear on what we could expect. The seating was a bit tight, there were 6 of us, a larger space would have been very useful but we were able to squeeze the plates around. The meats had great seasoning, my only complaint is it's basically impossible to not over cook the meat or maybe I just have to practice more! So much fun seeing these kids faces.

Yelp
I just dined at The Melting Pot for the umpteenth time -- and honestly, it was better than ever. The reason? Elizabeth A. She was absolutely stellar. I was dining alone, but she never made me feel like I was. She treated me with the same attentiveness and warmth you'd expect from someone serving a full table. Her timing was perfect -- present when needed, never overbearing -- and she carried a conversation that felt genuine and above the norm. Elizabeth already has her degree, so The Melting Pot may not be able to hold onto her forever. But while she's still there, do yourself a favor and ask for her. Thank you, Elizabeth A. -- you made my afternoon.

Yelp
So this place is one of the places we frequent. The ying yang martini is hands down my favorite drink. You can get a secluded booth for your dining experience. The staff is top notch and 5 star service. Don't sleep on this place... also it's haunted. No joke! Great vibes though!
google avatar

Yelp
Fun place for an affordable Happy Hour. We went with the kids and the space was very small. Happy hour is great! It runs from 4-7. We got three different types of cheese, a charcuterie board (very small) and three pots of chocolate. The value was very good! I'll be back without the kids.

Yelp
I came for my first melting pot experience on a Sunday afternoon. The building, which is an old library, gives the restaurant a lot of character. They are used to large parties as they sat 15 of us at two adjoining tables downstairs. All three courses (cheese, meat/seafood and chocolate) were delicious.
google avatar

Corina E.

Yelp
The food was delicious! We enjoyed our server who was very knowledgeable about the menus and history of the building. The ambiance was perfect!

Yelp
I was visiting my son and new daughter in law and we wanted to celebrate their recent wedding with a lovely dinner at The Melting Pot. It wasn't just dinner, it was a delicious experience dipped into multiple pots making up a four course meal. The food was delicious, the service staff were incredible and while it is more money than I usually spin a meal, it was well worth every penny for the experience and fun memories we made that evening!
google avatar

Brian S.

Yelp
First time I ate here. The server did an excellent job explaining the different 4 course options as opposed to the a la carte options. We ended up ordering the Silver wine option. Cheeee appetizer was the cheddar cheese option. It was OK. Entree we got the vegetable bouillon fondue. Good flavor. Dessert we had the smores. Decent flavor, not overwhelmingly sweet. Fondue isn't my vibe, but we did enjoy our experience.

Yelp
I love fondue and it had been years since we had been to The Melting Pot. But recently, for my birthday, my husband took me there for a fun dinner. It's a lot of food, and pretty pricey, but it's always a fun experience. We had made reservations, and I highly recommend that as even on a Sunday night it was extremely busy. We were seated right at our reservation time. Service and food were excellent. Not a place I would go to on a regular basis, but for a special occasion I highly recommend it!

Yelp
The Melting Pot is an experience, not just a dinner. From the cozy, intimate atmosphere to the interactive fondue-style dining, everything feels thoughtfully curated for a special night out. The service was exceptional--our server was knowledgeable, patient, and made great recommendations that elevated the whole evening. The cheese fondue and chocolate dessert were definitely the stars of the show, but the full four-course meal is worth trying at least once. Everything tasted fresh and was beautifully presented. That said, it's definitely on the pricey side. It's not an everyday restaurant, but perfect for celebrations, date nights, or when you want to treat yourself to something unique. Be prepared to spend a bit more than usual--but also expect a memorable night that's worth the splurge.

Yelp
Went there with a group of 14 people. Service was good, and good was decent. The largest issue is limited options for vegans, as in none. Vegetarian is you love cheese. Restaurant is large and noisy. Recommend if you are a meat eater. Less so if you want to eat healthy.
google avatar

Yelp
Great spot for date night! We had the four course menu which was SO much food for two people. Next time we may pick two options because we were so stuffed. The cheese fondue (Classic Alpine) is delicious and similar to what I've tasted in Paris. The turtle chocolate was delicious. First experience at a melting pot and we will be back again. I will say our table was definitely hidden within the maze of the building (a cool vibe overall since it's a former library) but we had to squish next to each other to reach the fondue since it was only on one side of our table. My husband and I really like each other so we didn't mind snuggling up but I could see how it might be uncomfortable for others.

Yelp
The Melting Pot never fails to impress. We were recently served by Cady and we had a great dinner, she was extremely knowledgeable and personable. We had the Wisconsin Cheese a couple different entree options and the Yin and Yang chocolate to round it out, all were amazing. The experience here is entertaining that you have to "cook" your own food in the fondue pot. Lastly, the ambiance in MP is incredible, its old speakeasy style with dim lights and curtains for table privacy. Great date night or dinner with out of town guests.

Yelp
Spooky place with a great view! Came here for lunch with a couple of friends. There was plenty of parking so that was a plus. We were seated right away and there were definitely a few steps that I almost tripped over (thats just a personal problem of mine). Anyways we got the perfect view of HWY and the mountains. Our server was great and quick to get us drinks. Lunch time is the only time I would say the cost makes sense. The food is ok nothing special.

Paul C.

Yelp
It is an interesting experience but pricy. The pot cooking was fun. The food was good, but again expensive.

Yelp
We've been celebrating Valentine's Day at The Melting Pot for five years, and it never disappoints! The portions may seem small, but we always leave full. Great food, cozy atmosphere, and excellent service keep us coming back. Our favorite dessert is the Flaming Turtle--a must-

Yelp
Went a day after my birthday, and had a Delightful Meal with my Caregiver and her Aunt Faye. We decided to have the Luncheon special with 4 different meats, salad, cheese/artichoke fondue and then we had a ying/yang (chocolate/vanilla) picture of a ying yang. The service was very nice, in between all courses. All my friends liked everything, I go to the Melting Pot usually every other year, it's not cheap, but it's a awesome place. ****Plus if your in a wheelchair and your going to the Littleton, Colorado Melting Pot, call make a reservation and tell them your in a wheelchair or that you can't walk up all those stairs, and you can park in the handicap parking (as long as you have the plaque or the handicap license plate),eat on the lower floors , which is romantics
google avatar

Bonni R.

Yelp
Still one of my favorite places - the service was less attentive during this visit but the food was great. The portions are still very large and we actually didn't have room for dessert this time. But I will be back and will make up for that.

Yelp
I went here with my partner and his family to celebrate two birthdays and we had a great time. We had a private table in the room with the stars, so it was nice and quiet. Our server was fantastic and super friendly and nice. We got our food quickly and had fun cooking it together. We got a variety of meats and veggies, the enjoyed the chocolate fondue for dessert. The bathroom was in the basement and was a little difficult to find, but it was clean and big. Supposedly it's haunted, but I didn't feel anything and I'm usually pretty sensitive to stuff like that. This is a great place for a special occasion, and I would definitely go back.

Yelp
I always love the Melting Pot and the food is so delicious. This past time the hubs and I went was for Endless Fondue and it was an amazing time eating in the outdoor dome. So there are a couple rules to Endless Fondue: 1. If you pass a course, you cannot go back to it and 2. No to-go boxes. Ok simple enough. The first course is a cheese course and we ordered the green goddess cheddar as our first cheese and the Wisconsin trio as our second. If you love cheese, you can just stay in the first course. We opted to skip the salad for our second course and went directly to entrée. You're allowed to choose 5 items for the first order and then each refill is 3 items, but of course, it's endless so order as many refills as you can eat. I had pork tenderloin, filet mignon, shrimp, artichoke hearts, asparagus, and raviolis. We chose to cook our food in bouillon but you can upgrade to another cooking liquid. For dessert, we opted for the Bourbon Pecan which was dark chocolate with caramel and the server lights the bourbon on fire as she added it with the candied pecans. The desserts for dipping were pound cake, rice crispy treats, marshmallows, pineapple, bananas, and strawberries. Our server then asked if we were ready for another chocolate pot. By this time, we were so full and knew we were going to waddle out of there so we declined. We ate for 2:15 and we're not sorry about it. The globes were so amazing and warm as they have heaters in there. Plus, when you're cooking your main entrée, it turns into a steam room of pure umami deliciousness.

Yelp
Date nights are always a good idea. Melting Pot has designated their Thursdays as 'Thursdates' & we had a memorable & romantic evening at the Littleton location. We arrived at Melting Pot and headed inside the historic building (it used to be a library back in the day). We were brought to a table decorated in rose petals & candles. Talk about setting the mood! The aesthetic of the restaurant was moody and romantic with aged brick, low uplighting and cozy booth seating aptly named 'Lover's Lane'. I loved that each booth had its own curtains for privacy. The service at Melting Pot was spot on. Our server Chelsea was bright, attentive and quick to meet our needs. Managers Mike & Crystal stopped by our table and several others to ensure meals were running smoothly. The Thursdate menu consisted of four-courses including handcrafted cheese fondue, fresh salad, a large entrée course including several varieties of meat and seafood, and dessert - only $65/person. The option to add La Marca Prosecco for a sparkling toast for two is available for $10. We started with the La Marca Prosecco. The prosecco opened with aromas of stone fruit and rushed onto the palate with a crisp green apple taste - a great pair for the cheese fondue. We chose the Classic Alpine for our handcrafted cheese fondue. The Classic Alpine was made with Gruyère, Raclette, Fontina, White Wine, Garlic, and Nutmeg. Yum - the fondue had a nutty flavor & delicate aroma. The cheeses blended together in a thick, creamy consistency. Out of all the dipping accoutrements, I liked the green apples best. The crisp tartness of the apple complemented the creaminess of the cheese nicely. For salad I had the Melting Pot House Salad made with Mixed Greens, Cheddar, Tomatoes, Croutons, Scallions, Egg, and choice of dressing. The tangy honey mustard paired well with the bed of greens. For our entrees we had the Big Night Out Fondue Entrée that came with Premium Filet Mignon, Teriyaki-Marinated Steak, Herb-Crusted Chicken Breast, Shrimp, Atlantic Salmon, and Wild Mushroom Ravioli. (Gluten Free options available). We prepared our entrée with the Coq Au Vin broth made with Burgundy Wine, Mushrooms, Scallions, and Garlic. I enjoyed the Teriyaki-Marinated Steak which had a salty sweet mellow taste. The mushrooms were a stand out; they were nice and meaty with a mild earthy taste. The large variety of dipping sauces was a nice touch. For dessert we had the Yin & Yang chocolate fondue made with milk and white chocolate artfully melted together. We added on the Sweet Additions: Cream Puffs, Macarons, and Cheesecake. Oh yes please - course four had our full undivided attention. The milk and white chocolate melted together like a dream. The hot chocolate fondue against the cool fruit, cream puff, and cheesecake made for lovely temperature contrast. My favorite dipping accoutrement were the graham and Oreo covered marshmallows.

Yelp
This was a lovely little place to celebrate our anniversary this year. Our server Sean was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back. We were also surprised to see that we had won the manic Monday free meal. So, even though we went there, unaware this existed, we were very grateful to be the recipient of this.

Laura F.

Yelp
Every other restaurant is open Memorial Day and you guys are closed? Makes it a little hard to take a veteran out for lunch.
google avatar

Yelp
Everytime I drive past this establishment I've always wondered how it was inside. Celebrating my 60th birthday we decided to come here. Walking in you can feel the nostalgia of the restaurant and the changes it has gone through. I was thoroughly impressed with the service and the food. Top quality. It's a bit pricey but thank god we happened to go during restaurant week. For the four of us there was definitely a lot of food and a wide variety of items. Our main server Jack was very patient with us and explained everything thoroughly. Definitely a place for special occasions.

Yelp
Went about a year ago with my husband for an anniversary. We were vegetarian at the time so we got the veggie options. Dinner was just ok, and some of our veggies had some rotten spots. But the dessert is where it's at, the chocolate fondue really made the experience. Service was ok. Ambiance was very nice, it was just a tad warm as we were seated on the top floor. We plan on bringing my in-laws here as they have been wanting to try Melting Pot, hopefully our next eating experience is better and the meat options are better than the veg options.

Yelp
Five Stars - A Perfect Night at The Melting Pot with Patrick! Our experience at The Melting Pot was absolutely unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing waiter, Patrick. From the moment we were seated, he made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of. His knowledge of the menu, friendly demeanor, and perfect timing made the whole evening seamless and enjoyable. Patrick walked us through each course with enthusiasm and patience, making sure we understood how everything worked--especially since it was our first time there. He offered great recommendations that ended up being spot on He checked in on us just enough to make sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. Dining at The Melting Pot is an experience in itself, but Patrick elevated it to a whole new level. If you're planning to visit, ask for Patrick--you'll be glad you did!

Yelp
We have been eating at this melting pot since it opened. I don't even know how many times at this point we've been there. It's always great and it's a wonderful environment, but this time was especially fantastic. For some reason, I made reservations but somehow messed them up and they were missing. The restaurants still got us seated within 15 minutes of the time I tried to make a reservation for. We had a wonderful seat in an area we've never been seated in. We were doing a redo of our wedding anniversary that didn't go so great at another restaurant, And it was celebrating the end of the college semester for summer. They put us with the server, Collin. He was friendly from the get-go. He overheard us say we'd eaten there countless times and that we were celebrating. He was also training a lovely new server. He offered us options that were off menu and every option that he suggested tasted amazing and made us feel more special. Not only was the food amazing, he was very attentive at getting refills on our food and beverages. He listened to everything we said, and everything went off without a hitch. Additionally, they were so nice to give us a complementary champagne toast for our celebration. Just a perfect touch. This restaurant is always exceptional, but on this particular day with this server, they went way above and beyond, and I cannot recommend them enough

Yelp
billy was FAN FREAKING TASTIC thank you billy give him a raise yummy food yummy outside lovely.

Yelp
Melting pot is a great experience but be ready to dig deep in the wallet to enjoy it. This specific franchise is built in a unique building that was once a library and a jail so the unique space makes the experience even better. At this price point you should expect superior service and on our two trips here that has been the case. The beginning and end of the meal is where the real magic is, with the main course feeling like something you need to get through to get to desert. If you do not have reservations you are not likely to get in, and even if you do be prepared to wait 30 minutes. TL:DR - a good experience, too expensive for what you get.
google avatar

Yelp
What a great restaurant to celebrate my special occasion on my birthday! Bailey, our server, was fantastic, very attentive and made this experience awesome!

Yelp
The melting pot in Littleton is such a fun place to spend an evening! Tonight we had Thomas serving us and he was AMAZING! He shared all about the ghosts that wander the premises & shared how much joy he has working there. We highly suggest you request him! The food was wonderful. We went on the all-you-can-eat night, and we devoured so much cheese... it was the best. We loved our night out, and we plan to go back for the next all-you-can-eat event!!

Yelp
We went here for our Valentine's dinner due to it being close and not having gone in several years. We went the Sunday after Valentine's Day, but were still only able to get an 8pm reservation. We didn't actually leave the restaurant until after 10pm . Our server was wonderful, he was obviously knowledgeable about everything, but also just very friendly and a joy when at our table. We went with the charity for two special which was the four traditional courses and $60/pp, we started with the fiesta cheese fondue which was tasty, but not at all spicy even though we had our server put in all the chopped jalapeños. For salads we got the ceaser and the house, the ceaser was slightly over dressed and had honey roasted pine nuts on it? The pine nuts were good, as a snack, but I didn't care for them as an addition to the salad. The entree selection of meats were all good and we did the signature cooking broth - due to it being a red wine base, it discolors a lot of the meats which I wish they would have told us because we probably would have picked a different broth option. The flavors were very good, however, the meats would come out a purple/grey color which was a little off putting. The dessert fondue was of course delicious, we did the original which included crunchy peanut butter which was a delight!
google avatar

Cece S.

Yelp
My husband and I had a great date night. The restaurant itself used to be a library and jail and we were seated in the old holding cell areas - quite unique. This was my first time so I wasn't sure what to expect, but the servers and food and just overall experience was great. I loved that we had to take our time to eat - I feel like a lot of the times, we eat really quickly and our date nights are over in the blink of an eye. We opted for the beer cheese to start, the mojo broth and ended with the s'mores dessert. Everything was tasty. We'll definitely be back - I do recommend making reservations!
google avatar

Cyndi C.

Yelp
Always amazing food and service! We enjoyed two cheese pot, Wisconsin and green goddess (off menu) along with Ceasars salads. Steak and classic fondues in Coq au Vin style. Finished with Ying and yang white and milk chocolate for desserts. Yummmmmmm

Marie F.

Yelp
Been several times, different locations, and although the ambiance is nice and fondue is fun and different, boiled steak doesn't taste good not even with flavored broth. Not worth the price. Go to Guard and Grace or A5 Steakhouse for a quality expensive steak. The cheese and chocolate is definitely worth it!

Payton T.

Yelp
we are baffled trying to figure out why there is only 3.5 stars! We had an amazing experience, food was wonderfully prepared and Andi was 10 out of 10 - amazing service! will absolutely be back!

Yelp
Delicious food and a very romantic atmosphere in Historic Downtown Littleton! As someone with celiac (gluten free) I am sooo happy my favorite restaurant is able to cater to gf people - and the entire experience is possible Gf as well. I was so shocked and happily surprised! Our waitress was very attentive and aware of my gluten allergy and I had no issues at this restaurant. They even have all of the cocktails labeled GF as well so you don't have to go searching on your phone to see if it really is or not! The people at melting pot really care about their guests with dietary restrictions and it shows! Valet is complimentary when eating at the melting pot, so that was extra special as well and took the stress of finding a parking spot away! I can't wait to come back and dine here again!

Yelp
My first time here, celebrating our anniversary and we had a wonderful experience! Our server was really awesome, food was great, really enjoyed the cheese and chocolate courses. And we received a complimentary glass of champagne! For us, TMP is a special occasion restaurant, it is very expensive. The experience also takes a long time, you could potentially be there for a few hours. Overall we really liked but we will not be frequent flyers.
google avatar

Jerome L.

Yelp
The Melting Pot is absolutely amazing! My expectations were low since I wasn't into fondue before but I was pleasantly surprised by TMP. It's located in a formally recognized haunted building that use to serve as a Littleton Police Station and before that a library. On to the food: you start off dipping apples and bread into a delicious gooey cheese. Then comes the mushrooms followed by the meats. You let the flavored broth cool the meat for 2-3 minutes then wallah, you find yourself eating a delicious healthy meal! No wonder this place is always packed! Job well done TMP. Disclaimer: I couldn't give TMP a 5 star since it is kinda pricey for what you get. Other than that it's awesome!

Yelp
My friend and I decided to stop in for chocolate fondue after visiting a Halloween pumpkin display nearby, and it was an unexpectedly fun experience. Knowing this has a reputation as a haunted restaurant, we definitely wanted to check it out. It did not disappoint visually. It is in an old Carnegie Library building, which is full of unique architecture and a lot of dark corners and archways. The bathrooms are sufficiently spooky, too, so worth checking out. We sat in the bar area (it's impossible to get in without reservations), which was perfectly fine. While we were waiting, the manager (or some employee) decided to prank my friend by lowering a plastic spider on a fishing pole down from the overhang above. Others saw this happening, so when she jumped, it got a round of chuckles and a dramatic "Happy Halloween!" declaration from the man upstairs. My friend and I found it hilarious, and we liked the spirit of the place. (No pun intended. Ok, sort of intended.) We received our fondue, although without all of the normal dippers, but it was still delicious. While the server seemed a bit forgetful and off his game, he made up for it with a positive attitude and pleasing demeanor. I'd love to go back for a full meal there.

Yelp
I love the Littleton location of the melting pot! It is a cozy and romantic vibe. During the winter you can even reserve a heated igloo outside. Every time I have gone the service has been amazing. It is fun to watch them make the cheese portion of the fondue. The food is delicious and they are allergy friendly and also have vegetarian options. It can get a bit pricey but so fun to treat yourself for a special occasion or birthday. Sometimes they have deals in the month of February for Valentine's Day or certain events where there are discounted prices. If you sign up for their e-club you can also get a $16 coupon off on your birthday (unfortunately they no longer do the chocolate covered strawberries). If you've never had fondue you're in for a treat!

Yelp
Reservation made at 1145am and sat immediately. Finally got to "order" water at 12:05pm. Waited 20 mins for server. Been here dozens of times, never had to wait that long for a greeting. And it was FREEZING inside! Turn off the AC, it's October! Finally got the desert fondue at 130pm. Not our best experience here...

Yelp
What a fun night! I loved this experience from waiting for the table in the bar area to being seated. Everyone is really friendly and the atmosphere is awesome; very old world with a underlined romance. The food is really good and you get your money's worth for sure. The ratio of cheeses and wine for the cheese fondue was on point and the sauces for the steak really enhanced the meat. Just need a few more veggies for the cheese. The Cesar salad was so good and the special touch was the candied pine nuts! The chocolate was on another level with the crunchy peanut butter added but I wish that the rice crispy treats were homemade. Over all a great experience and I'm ready to go back very soon!

Yelp
The Melting Pot is my go to for anniversaries, special occasions, or girls nights. The food is always amazing as well as the service. The vibe is super calm and historic. This evening we went to dinner for my birthday with a couple of friends. We did the "double date night special" and it was an amazing deal with generous portions. Our server brought complimentary champagne for my birthday, as well as a cute candle in our dessert. I 100% recommend Melting Pot for any occasion. They also have cute heated igloos for outdoor dining which is a fun if you want a new experience!

Yelp
The food is fine although they add wine which they simmer off but it makes the cheese bitter. Also the service was a little slow. But we where outside and it was so nice and calming.

Yelp
This review has been a month or so delayed as I was taking time to write it, but let me start by saying I have never written a review for any restaurant ever, but feel as if it was justified for our recent experience at the Melting Pot. My family decided to go to the Melting Pot about a month ago to celebrate my wife's birthday. She and I have both dined there before and the kids were there for the first time. We were seated in the upstairs area of the restaurant looking down to the bar and were seated at about 8:30. We were assigned the waitress, Krystal M. The food was good, everything was timely (thanks to her amazing assistant), but throughout the evening we heard some extremely unpleasant things from the employee area right next to our table. On MULTIPLE occasions, my entire family (including our 4 and 7 year old kids) heard her refer to my wife (who just had a child and has been self conscious about her weight her entire life) as a "fat pig" and "the b**** at that table". We also heard her yelling at her assistant, complaining that they were going too slow. I believe she also might've called the 'r' slur to one of the other waiters. I have no reason as to why she could've been upset, but I know that saying things like that to another coworker in ear shot of a customer is completely unprofessional and disrespectful. The cherry on top to a ruined birthday dinner were the fake smiles, rushed comments, and cold chocolate. She even mentioned how she was part of the restaurant's management. I'm truly disappointed they'd pick her to lead the restaurant. Oh-- and my wife and I were 90% sure we saw and smelled a cloud of marijuana coming from the waiter station. What a great environment for my family when I'm paying $300 for my wife to be insulted. My wife and I were in pure disgust and shock and couldn't even fathom talking to anyone about it so we just left. I looked at the receipt and wrote down her name to make sure we wouldn't be getting another server in trouble. The only person I feel bad for tonight besides my wife was her assistant and co-workers for dealing with her attitude. We'll never be returning to the melting pot again. Shame on you, Krystal M. You ruined my wife's birthday and are genuinely an awful person. May karma catch up to you.

Yelp
My drink had no alcohol in it, for six people I think we had 1/2 of chicken and steak per person and chocolate for over 500$ with 4 salads. I always leave hungry and frustrated why it costs so much money for rice Krispy treats, marshmallows, bread, apples, pound cake etc. it's an experience but a waste of money

Yelp
Our favorite "special occasion" and date spot, this fondue restaurant is situated at the corner of Littleton Boulevard (Bowles Avenue) and Santa Fe Drive in an historic library that's the perfect cozy location for a more intimate dining experience. Cady was our server/chef/sommelier this evening for my wife's birthday dinner, and even though it's usually just the two of us when we come in she had absolutely no difficulty with our party of eight that visited this evening. She was friendly, professional and personable, and ensured everything went off without a single hitch (we'd already been hitched once when we got married, you see). She always had a recommendation ready when we asked for her opinion, or an option available when we wanted something special or significant. She ensured that everything was covered pertaining to food allergies and we had a genuinely wonderful time dining, which has always been the norm here. We had the full four-course experience tonight and couldn't have been happier, from the excellent wine (the Prisoner blend, which was thematic as we were seated at the table where the old holding cell was when the building was a police station) to the after-dinner beverage (I had the port wine and my wife had the limoncello). They even had a slice of cheesecake and a bear with a rose ready for the birthday celebration. We will be back soon!

Yelp
We went today for the Halloween special they had with hayrides. The host was extremely accommodating since part of our group arrived late. It was a nice outing, the guide/witch on the hayride was kind and patient with all the kids. Onto lunch. I cannot say enough good things about our waiter. I had 2 10 year old boys and he was kind and patient with them. It was a belated birthday for them both and I can not imagine a better waiter than him for our group of 4. Unfortunately I did not get his name.
