We came to celebrate a very special birthday. We had the entire place to ourselves Plus The excellent server Nicole. Strong, Charming, Confident. Provided us an experience beyond what we expected. The turtle melting pot with pecans was a delight. Go here Get here Spoil your loved one💖

Google
Great experience for the fondue lovers. This is also a great spot to bring your loved ones. They will do a rose petal setup on the table for an extra charge but it's not much. The service is also pretty good and food came out in a decent time. The dessert section was favourite part.

Google
I chose this place because I wanted to celebrate my anniversary and I feel like I made the perfect choice.I absolutely loved dining here! highly recommended and customer service is top notch. we chose the four course option and by the time the dessert came i was full and happy. i will be returning again!

Our whole experience was well worth the cost. Wonderful waitress; one of the best I have ever encountered. The seasoning eels well balanced. The cheese with the wine sauce and dark chocolate absolutely phenomenal! Not sure why the bad reviews but I will definitely be going back.

An AMAZING experience!! We’ve been before but tonight was especially memorable. Every time we’ve gone both the food and service were excellent but this time we chose to do the romantic reservation. They have two options: one just with candles and rose petals and one with all that and a framed picture as a keepsake! They’re both an add on to your bill but I think they’re worth it. We made a quick reservation (Like 30 minutes before we go there) and the table was completely set up, no wait or anything. This was 4 o’clock, though they’re pretty great about reservations all the time. We were served by Steve and he was absolutely amazing! He was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. He was also incredibly good at his job. He provided suggestions, knew the menu well, and was incredibly accommodating and patient. 15/10 server, couldn’t have asked for better. The rest of the waitstaff were also attentive, including the bussers and they helped keep our table clear of clutter multiple times throughout the duration of our meal. The food was delicious and filling. The portions may look a little small but they were plenty if you get the full course experience. We got the Wisconsin Cheese, Coq Au Vin with steak lovers’ and pacific rim, and a dark chocolate original. Everything was fantastic!!! I loved every bite, the sauces were amazing, and they’ll refill your sauces, your bread tray and dessert trays as needed. I don’t see how anyone is going home hungry!!! They took our picture as dessert came for to the table and even surprised us with some chocolate covered strawberries!!! It was a wonderful experience and I couldn’t have imagined a better way to start our anniversary celebration!!! Thank you guys!!! And thank you Steve!!! ❤️❤️❤️

It was such a cool experience. We went out on Saturday for date night. Our waiter Drew was fantastic, attentive, and ready to answer any questions we had. Nice atmosphere. Nice couples boothes. It's on the pricier side.

Google
We came in for Valentine’s Day and really enjoyed our experience overall. We made reservations and we did have to wait a bit longer than expected but it wasn’t a big deal, especially given the holiday. Our server was Noah and he was pleasant and prompt! Phenomenal service. We thought everything was delicious. It was my first time here and I definitely want to come back. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the courses and the drinks we got were good too. My only complaint is that my stomach wasn’t bigger, you get so much food!

Google
My husband and I dined here to celebrate our 4th anniversary. The food was amazing, the restaurant was clean and well-organized, and our waiter, Andrew was fantastic! He made the meal stress-free and easy to understand, even though we had never been to this type of restaurant previously. We would definitely recommend!

Yelp
Melting Pot is one of upscale restaurant, it is more for experience of fondue than anything else. I jad been here before, this time I went for tuesday deal of the month where you get cheese and cjocolate fondue experience for only $ 22. It is a good deal if you have never tried this experience. This time server had another trainee to acompany which I dont mind. I was served timely and taken care of. You get cheese fondue and some breads/ brocoli/ green apple/ celery to dip in cheese n munch. There r varieties of cheese to select from and I chose spinach artichoke. Similarly in chocolate there r options and I went for pecan nutty flavour. Overall good experience.

Yelp
We were here celebrating my son's birthday and it was a fun time, but I do think that they could have given us more information about the whole situation. So you can order a 4 course meal for 2 for $120 and it includes: 1. Cheese fondue with bread, veggies, etc 2. Salad 3. Entree that you cook on skewers 4. Chocolate fondue with pieces of waffles, cake, brownies, etc There were 8 people in our party and the other 3 couples got the 4 course meal. My friend and I got a salad $8 each and an entree $35 each. It wasn't so much the cost as it was too much food! We were there for 3 hours!! For the entree I did the choose your own 3 and I chose chicken, salmon and shrimp. They tell you estimated cooking times, but you lose track if you put more than one skewer in at a time. It was too much food as it was, so I cooked up everything and brought home the uneaten food which was a lot! It was a fun experience but not something you would do that often. I would go there again for another celebration, but not on a regular basis!

Yelp
Had a wonderful meal yesterday for our daughter's birthday who had never been there. Drew our server was great and went above and beyond for us! He made our evening special and would recommend to anyone to try this experience. We have been coming here for over 10 years. You can always ask for extra dippers and we always leave full! If you've been on the fence to try this experience? Do it! You won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Such a decadent treat to eat at The Melting Pot! We got the four course experience. We didn't get any pictures of the salad course, but that honey mustard dressing was so good! I'd highly recommend this place for a date night or maybe a work dinner. Give yourself time to unwind and truly enjoy the experience. It's a really fun time and I'd highly recommend it!

Yelp
Visited this place after almost 6 years to take my friend out on their birthday. Thankfully the whole fondue set-up was new for them and they enjoyed the process of cooking on the table. Otherwise the experience was quite disappointing for me. Right from when we arrived we received a cold greeting at the door. Instead of the semi private/ cozy setting the business talks of, we were directed to a diner type room where when we requested for a different table ( there were quite a few there) with two stove tops , as we had decided to order two entrees, we got a blank 5 seconds stare with a reluctant "okay". The person who brought us drinks dropped my lime on the table and then joked about it. Usually I would let something like this pass but the attitude didn't sit right with me this time. Our own server was attentive, polite and knowledgable and salvaged our evening a little bit.she even got us two complimentary chocolate dipped strawberries for the birthday which I think was cute. We ordered four course dinner for two and two cocktails. The drinks were good but lacked presentation. Entree and dessert fondues were as expected. For the price I paid and the service received,I may not be visiting again anytime soon.

Yelp
Visited to celebrate my birthday. Our waitress Faith was dazzling. Quick service, frequently checked on us and made sure to offer us re-ups on the dippers. The food itself was okay. It was a good experience for the novelty, but I felt the dippers could have been higher quality. As expensive as it was ($120+ for two) I would have been pleased to see some artisan bread or house prepped veggies. The vegetables looked like the ones you can buy prearranged in a grocery snack tray. To be clear- I am not hating! I had a great time and I'd consider returning. However, I work in food service and I think the quality could have been better. The entree proteins were pretty good, which somewhat made up for it. The ambiance was nice- we were seated in a private corner booth that was clean and well lit. Overall, good experience. Shoutout Faith again!

Yelp
The Melting Pot was a destination for a different dining experience for my book club as we celebrated 30 years and the actual birthday of one of our founders. Since I was the host, I made the reservation in person to select our menu and scope out our table selection. This was the first time dining here for everyone in our party of eight. Of note, I did change the reservation meal selection for three guests by substituting the vegan option for all four courses. We had three burners for our party. We were able to seat the vegan guests together on one end of the table to share one burner dedicated to vegan options. One guest also had seafood allergies so we dedicated one burner as no seafood. The four courses were delicious. The only problems were: 1. Our server, J.R., seemed to be overwhelmed. We were there for over four hours (until closing). It shouldn't have taken this long, fortunately, we were enjoying each other's company and fellowship. The burners for the first course started smoking because all the water in two of the cookers had evaporated. The other courses were more of the same. We asked why it was taking so long for the removal of the cookers and plates to prepare for the next course and our server blamed it on "the kids" - his assistants. 2. Over four hours we were offered beverages only twice. Many glasses remained empty for most of the night. 3. For a table of eight we were given a small soup bowl of tortilla chips. This equates to about one chip per person for the cheese course. 4. With the reservation, I did state this was a birthday celebration. The birthday guest did not receive any acknowledgment. By 11:11pm, we were ready to pay our bill and go home for the night. 5. There were other parties in the room with us who came after us and left before us. Great dining option but for the expense the service was lacking. Note: We paid with one check and still gave a 20% tip!

Yelp
I've seen some bad reviews of the melting pot and I feel bad for their experience because I have never had a bad experience here and I've been here many many times. This last time I went on a Date Night out at the melting pot and added roses to the table with candles for a upgrade alcoholic drinks were the Whiskey Business, white gummy bear Martini, Tropic haven punch and the 1975 . We ordered the bigger night out with the smores for dessert and were so full and had so much left overs lol our server was so nice to which made everything even better. It is pricey here I will admit but you get refills on the food besides the meat. So it's worth it

Yelp
Me and my friends come here most days for birthdays and we haven't been in over a year and it's still great customer service every time. Our server drew was the best and was super kind, he even hooked us up with a bunch of waffles and pretzels for the fondue. He made sure we had everything we wanted and did even more without having to ask. We were so happy when they got the loaded baked potato cheddar fondue back! We were scrapping at the metal fondue bowl within minutes.

Yelp
The singlehanded worst experience I've ever had dining out. Downloaded yelp just to write about this. Call me a negative nelly but I need to vent. Went here for Valentine's Day. 8:15pm reservation. 40 minute wait to be sat. 20 minutes before the waitress introduce themselves. In the FOUR hours it took us to get the five course dinner, our server came over exactly 5 times. Two drinks each and the bill was $279 Obviously ownership cares zero percent about customer experience as well as mental health of staff working. I feel terrible for the hostesses that had to handle a wait for reserved times and for wait staff that were clearly over booked. Will not be back. Don't let this owner steal your money, joy, and most importantly... time.

Heather E.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience for dinner. The food was amazing. We did the 4 course dinner and every course was delicious. We want to give a huge shout out to our server Gage, he made our experience fantastic and we will definitely be requesting him when we return.

Yelp
Came in on a whim on a Wednesday night - got seated right away. They have deals on Wednesday nights, apparently! A shared cheese appetizer course, personal entree course, and a shared dessert fondue for about $50 a person. The staff were so friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the activity of the meal - it was more involved and super fun! Cheese was good, dessert was decadent, and the meal and sauces were yummy.

Anthony T.

Yelp
The food was amazing, as well as ever other melting pot. Our waiter, Nick, made the experience even better and more relatable. I also loved the look of the whole thing, because it looked way more modern than every other melting pot I have been too.

Yelp
Update: I don't hold it against the business owner because he would have no way to know, but we were in fact early for our reservation, vocally checked in for it, and the hostess verbally confirmed that we had checked in. It probably did not get put in the system. At 8:00 or 8:05, after sitting on the couch watching group after group get seated ahead of us, we went back up to the desk to inquire about the status of our table. That must have been when we were actually checked in. At least that explains the wait. Make sure you check in really, really hard if it's busy!

Yelp
My most recent visit was just as lovely as previous ones. Be prepared to pay a pretty penny if you do multiple courses, but I would say the experience is worth it. We did the spinach artichoke cheese which came with the usual dippers and chips and was tasty. Salad course was next and was basic but good. We did "Create Your Own" entrees including chicken, pork, and steak with a court bouillon cooking style. Delicious with the variety of dipping sauces. Finally ended the night with the "Flaming Turtle" which was decadent and lovely. Tables are secluded from each other so the ambiance is nice, not too loud. Service was a tiny bit slow but it was crowded for Valentine's Day. Overall it's a fun experience as long as you prepare for the price tag.

Yelp
Gage the servers was the absolute best!! Food was excellent!! Loved the entire experience!! Definitely will be back more often.

Yelp
We came here for Valentine's Day 2023 and had a great time. They had a specific menu for the day and I made my reservation a couple weeks in advance. There was a bit of a wait when we got there and we didn't get out of there for about 2 hours but they did serve a ton to us! It was a very cool unique experience for a nice occasion but we agreed we wouldn't come back for a normal Saturday. We're not huge fans of paying for food that shows up to the table raw and paying a premium for it. That being said The service was really good, and the ambiance was very nice. I say it's a great spot to check out once or twice!

Carey M.

Yelp
We love the fondues, had Wisconsin cheese and s'mores for dessert. The staff were very polite and treated you like a VIP. Table was private and romantic (we paid for rose petals on the table). The actual food was ok, but honestly are too full anyway. It is a bit pricey, but they do have specials nights. I would recommend trying at least once.

Yelp
This place is really intimate. An amazing place for a date night. I absolutely loved the atmosphere. RESERVATIONS ARE A MUST! DON'T SHOW UP WITHOUT ONE! The food is delicious and well put together. I would've gave 5 stars if it wasn't for a couple of young nonchalant employees I experienced at and near my table. Fortunately, not all were like this. I wanted the more professional waiter with excellent customer service skills. Maybe next time. But otherwise, I was satisfied with everything else and I am excited to return in the near future

Yelp
It was just okay! The service was a tad slow! It was almost like we were forgotten. The food wasn't bad, but I guess we can give credit to ourselves;) We were seated in a nice little area tucked in, so we were able to admire our group and get soaked into our own conversations!

Yelp
Melting pot is always a fun experience to go with friends too! I love popping in for just a cheese or chocolate fondue as a quick treat with friends Pro tip for the chocolate fondue - you can ask for a different chocolate base if you want a particular fondue option but don't like the base (ie do the s'mores fondue but with dark chocolate instead). A lot of the toppings were really intriguing to me but I don't have too much of a sweet tooth so combining them with the dark chocolate base was the perfect combo!

Yelp
The service at the restaurant is always great! We usually love the food, options, and variety (especially because they accommodate my shellfish allergy) . However, on our most recent visit 4/2/2023, after leaving the restaurant my fiancé and I both had to rush to the bathroom and felt sick the following day from food poisoning. We figured it might've been something we ate prior. However after running into a friend that was also there the same evening we discovered they also had been sick the following day. After discussing what we ordered, we believe the culprit to be the chicken or salad . We know we cooked the chicken throughly as we left it in the pot of oil for over 5 minutes and the meat came out white. Very disappointed from this experience in the food quality and I hope we find it in us to trust the food again soon because it is very tasty!

Yelp
Came here for a birthday party reluctantly after my wife had complained about her previous experience. She agreed w/ me that they corrected whatever issues that had before. Food quality and portions were excellent. Drinks were great.

Yelp
Ok so being an ass doesn't also mean being right consistently. I appeal to the grand viceroy of Yelp to revoke my 1 star review and request official swapsies to 5 stars. No BS though. Every experience since this has been amazing. Professional staff that's responsive and the food is consistently fantastic.

Greta W.

Yelp
This place was great experience! Our waitress was absolutely wonderful she was an older lady with blonde hair so if u see this u were amazing!

Yelp
Very nice for a birthday dinner. Food was really good and our server was the best. Drinks were also really got. Easy to spend 2-2.5 hours there.

Yelp
Very pricy and not the highest quality, it is cool for a couple minutes but not forever but good service Never go twice

Yelp
Haven't been in over 8 years. Wanted to take 14 n 12 year old kids to something different. HAD A GREAT TIME! My son is also allergic to nuts, shellfish, and sesame seed. The server was extremely attentive to it, the runners who brought out sauces and salads, etc, were also well informed and talked to us about everything they served. Said they didnt add worchesthire, because some can have anchovies (and not worth it for the shellfish allergy). Super good time. Appreciate the good efforts and the food was super good. Left incredibly full! Was expensive, but you can tone it down to be more affordable.
google avatar

Jennifer H.

Yelp
My son requests to eat here every year for his birthday, and every year we eat until we are uncomfortable! We order the four course meal which includes a cheese of your choice, salad, main course then chocolate fondue for dessert. The Alpine cheese is our favorite for a starting course with fresh garlic and white wine to add depth to the cheese blend. For our main course we enjoy the Mojo broth blend which has a Caribbean flair with various herbs, fresh squeezed citrus and fresh garlic. It pairs well with all the protein choices. For dessert my son chose the s'mores fondue and it was absolutely decadent! Our waitress was so nice, perfectly checking in when we needed, and fun to chat with. She even surprised my son with a special birthday treat! We enjoy the relaxed atmosphere where dining is an experience, not just a meal!

Yelp
Got to give this place one more try on their dime thanks to gift cards they sent me last spring. While the amount would have gotten a few meals at most places, not here. My best friend joined me and with our diet Cokes and what may be the best value on the menu, our lunch was $100. You can either order the fondue by course, cheese, entree, and dessert with salad being its own course or get a 4 course meal. Each is priced by the person. Since both of us have master degrees, we figured you get the best value by ordering the 3 entree as a 4 course. It was $2 cheaper than the regular 4 course but if you get the 4 entree version it is $2 more than regular. While you can't argue with the quality and the amount, the price is still high for normal working stiffs. At the price this is once a year at best place. I was trying to stuff myself and still wasn't over full and I am not a big eater. The service was what you expect from this type of place. But it was really empty at lunch on a Thursday. Maybe if they find a way to get a special lunch price, more customers might come. But the time it takes to eat, unless you have a long, long lunch you might get in trouble with a boss.

Yelp
I can totally see why there are not many locations left of melting pot after today. This was by far the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Our group just wanted a fun night out and it was not that by any means it got worse and worse as the night progressed. They started the meal serving lemonade in styrofoam cups apologizing that they had no cups left well that should of been the first red flag. The pots were all served with excessive alcohol. Which to me should of been warned. They literally dumped red wine like so much into our entree it was disgusting. The food was incredibly cheap. They probably spent a couple of pennies on it. Then come back and charge you 156 ish after you just ate the bottom of barrel options and are not even really feeling full off it. If you order the option with the lobster you really going to regret it after they cut it so poorly you will be picking the shell out to try and eat it. After the dinner your stomach don't feel well and you remember the waitress talking about how the kitchen was so messy and a disaster. She even says this place is kinda trashy. Ok so what I'm gathering is you have no workers and we just ate in an unsanitary environment. Telling us how she had to take money off peoples bill but we never got that option. Well anyways, after the dinner our stomach hurt so bad and 3 out for the 4 group members got the melting pot poops/diarrhea. Then the fourth group member got such a bad migraine and was throwing up. It was a nightmare. Save yourself trouble don't ever come here.... I also find it interesting they say contact that email below we want to talk to you about your review. I did that and literally heard nothing. So it's all for appearances.

Yelp
I took my girl here because she graduated and became a licensed Manicurist and paid a little extra to make it romantic. Needless to say she was blown away. The food was terrific as was the service. We didn't expect to have to cook all the food ourselves but, we've been to black rock before and weren't new to the concept. We had the Bigger Night Out 4 course dinner for two which included a lobster tail. We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. The first course was cheese fondue and we choose the Wisconsin aged Cheddar. They bring out a wooden board filled with pretzel bread, sourdough bread, broccoli, carrots, tomatoes and green apples for dipping. All the table are fitted with electric heating pads and They bring out a pot and you can control how hot your fondue or broth is through out your dinner. The second course is salad they have 4 that you choose from we had the caesar which if you're allergic to nuts please remind them not to include them. They were a pleasant surprise for us. The third course is of course your entrees however, since we ordered the bigger night out comes in a little differently. Apparently the bigger night out comes with smaller portions of every entre on their menu. The tray came out with shrimp, teriyaki beef, filet mignon, salmon all raw ingredients and a separate tray with a lobster tail already removed from its shell, seasoned and ready to be cooked. Here you choose your cooking style they have 4 to choose from including a stove top selection. The other three are broths that you cook your food in by placing them on the skewers they provide. Cooking times are on the back of the drink menu that stays with you at your table. We choose the Coq Au Vin which was interesting as it had a deep red wine added to it right in front of us. The fourth course is CHOCOLATE They bring out another pot with the chocolate fondue you selected. There are 4 options we choose the Flaming Turtle. It's melted with caramel, flambéed and has candied pecans. The dipping tray included Oreo coated marshmallows, waffle pieces topped with brown sugar, rice crispies, brownies, blondies, and strawberries. I'm sure I'm forgetting something is was just all so much and I mean that I'm a good way. Overall, we had an AMAZING experience. This was our first time to a restaurant like this and we're not disappointed. The food cooked in the Coq Au Vin tasted so gooood. Each item we cooked in the Coq Au Vin changed its taste for the better. We added our potatoes, mushrooms and broccoli to the out first. Thinking back we cooked it all backwards. We cooked our seafood first which turned out great anyways but, when we go back we'll be cooking the teriyaki beef first. The taste it gave the Coq Au Vin would've been nice to have lingering in the pot as we cook the rest of our food. I'm not sure this is the "party" spot the setting is very intimate. The way the booths are designed seems to support closeness and privacy. It is near impossible for any of the other dining guests to see us unless they were to walk passed our table. This is the kind of place you can do the cute French thing and feed your mate fondue without ppl looking at you. The setting really is nice for a date a great first date and for the experience, The Melting Pot is reasonably priced. I've spent more at other establishments and never had an experience like the one I had at The Melting Pot in Troy, Mi. I will be returning soon and if the next time is just as good or better I'll be stoked.

Yelp
My partner and I dined with Melting Pot on 2/18 as a postponed celebration of Valentine's Day. We had a reservation at 630 and were seated pretty quickly, however, that is the only highlight of last night. We were sitting at our table for around 20 minutes before our server came and said hi and took our drink order and food order. We did the dining experience for 2 so we could enjoy all 4 courses and the cheese pot came no problem, however a little delayed. After the cheese pot is when things started going down hill. We sat with an empty cheese pot for a good half hour before it was taken, and then another long wait before the broth pot was delivered. We didn't get our protein selections for the broth pot for 30-45 minutes after it was dropped off. We then sat with empty plates and completed broth for an additional 30-45 minutes before that was cleared. My partner had to go and find someone to have it cleaned up and our chocolate pot be dropped off. At that point we just wanted to leave because we had been there for 3 hours. Our server, Angel, checked on us twice in that 3.5 hour time span of us being there. She also spilled water on the table, said she would be back to clean it up and never returned to do so. We also watched another table get sat some time after us, be served their entire 3 courses, and leave before we even got our chocolate pot. We honestly felt neglected the entire time we were there. To say I'm disappointed in the experience is an understatement. Our bill was over $200 and this did NOT feel like a $200 dining experience. We are upset that there was no communication on if the kitchen was behind or why things were delayed. The only thing we were told was "sorry for the wait". Speaking to a manager on duty last night was not an option because we heard the excuses that were being told to another couple that was unhappy. It was a holiday weekend, there should have been more preparations and staff to account for the couples and families that wanted to enjoy an expensive and unique dining experience. Or in the very least some communication and a server that didn't disappear for the entire meal. We are sad because this is a huge treat for us to go out and spend that much money on a meal. We went to celebrate us, and it turned out to be a train wreck of a meal. We will not be returning to Melting Pot until something is done to rectify us needing to request our server to come to our table 2 times and needing to be at the restaurant for 3+ hours. This review was also emailed to melting pot a day after the horrible experience and I never received a response. Do better Melting Pot.

Yelp
First off let me say I've always loved The Melting Pot-Troy. It pains me to even write this review. I met a friend here and we had made a reservation. When we arrived I understood I have to wait for the whole party to get there. No biggie! Just be prepared if you come with a group. When they sat us they gave us a weird corner booth that looked like it really only fit one person. So we were very snug and weirdly placed. When I mentioned it to the waitress she said they usually don't sit people there because it was so cramped. So I'm not sure why it's even a table for them to use. Anyway when we got the menu I noticed the prices had increased; no biggie since covid. We got our salads and they were just as good as I remembered. When we got the cheese I noticed they went very light on the veggies and we had to ask for more twice. When the meat portion came out it was about 1/5 of the normal amount of meat. I was very shocked how they skimped on the meal. Then the chocolate portion came out and we noticed it was only about 1/4 of the way full. We were told they do not put as much chocolate in anymore for cost savings. This place is not cheap at all and it is hard to spend $80 per person and leave hungry. I think they need to realize they have cut back to much or lower the price. I doubt if I go back again because I just couldn't justify the money for the meal. Best of luck!

Yelp
Always a sweet date night. Pricey but worth the cost for a good meal with your sweetie. I recommend setting a reservation online first to get the candles and rose petals on your table. I'm a huge Melting Pot fan in general. Only hold back with this one is that they are a bit inconsistent. Sometimes you get apples in the appetizer; sometimes you don't. Sometimes you get pineapple in the dessert; sometimes you don't. Sometimes the Bee's Knees is incredible; sometimes it takes like straight orange juice. With consistent standards, this place would be 5 stars all day.

Yelp
It's always such a great time coming here. Not only is the food and the experience great, but we get a little bonus by always getting our favorite waiter here, Kyrie. He's absolutely hilarious and makes for a great experience and outing at Melting Pot. Giving that quick shout out, what you pay for here is definitely worth it I'm sure, regardless if you have Kyrie or not. Parking has gotten a little weird here with that new strip of buildings in front of it now, so prepare to park in either of the parking garage locations. We usually get the same meal every time we go. This includes an alcoholic beverage(s), a salad, cheese dippers of bread, soft pretzels, carrots, and broccoli. Then we get our meats which is usually the pork, chicken, steak, shrimp and a secondary marinated steak. Finally, if we're not entirely full and haven't received extra items for any of the courses, we get the chocolate pot for desert. As you can see from this review from our last visit, we did not get that because I have no picture of it! I'm not sure what all the "beef" is with this location. I'm not sure if we're blessed with our wonderful server and it blinds us from other things, but it's kind of hard to mess anything up here. Plan to be here for a long time because the experience takes a while. We're usually there about 2 hours or more. Finally, this should be obvious, but be careful with your cooking. You can either have your meats raw still because you take it out of the oil too early or you cook it to death and it's tough. That's really all I can think of that may be frustrating to some. If you have an open mind, patience, and an adventurous attitude, you'll love this place, especially this location. P.S. if I didn't mention it already, Kyrie you rock!

Yelp
Dear Melting pot, Why the F does it take me 4 hours to be at your restaurant to cook my own food?! Waited 45 min for our bill, not like you were even charging my tab at that point for extra drinks... Sincerely, A lost customer

Yelp
I feel like I write a yearly Melting Pot review practically, ha, but I have to update it again, from 5 stars to 4 stars. Really the beginning of our meal was 2-3 stars but then it improved ... Some backstory: I went here with 3 friends yesterday. This was the third time we had tried to go to MP this month. The first time, we had to cancel due to weather. The second time, I had scheduled a reservation for Super Bowl Sunday, on OpenTable, and the restaurant emailed me AT 3AM ON SUPER BOWL SUNDAY saying they're not actually open that day, due to the game, and have to cancel my reservation. Super professional. They did later give us a dining credit, but I was still not pleased about that. Third time's the charm, though, right? I always expect to wait about 5-10 minutes at MP for a table even if I have a reservation, and that was the case this time. We had a 7pm reservation and were seated around 7:10/7:15. We asked for a table rather than a booth, and were seated in kind of a private room, which was nice ... so I thought. I think because of that, the waiter kept forgetting about us, because we didn't receive glasses of water until like 7:30 or 7:45pm. After that snafu, the night was better, ish. First off: the food is always 5/5 stars at Melting Pot. We were there for the $25 special, which was only yesterday (though they are doing $26 today, 2/26; $27 tomorrow; and $28 today, same deal). The special included cheese fondue, salad, and entree fondue, and we were able to add chocolate fondue at the regular price ($8.95/person). We had two burners at our table so our waiter let us do two different types of cheese, entree, and chocolate fondue, which was great. MP no longer upcharges for the entree cooking styles, which I was also pleased with. We had some sort of bacon fondue for the cheese course plus a garlic fondue; I actually liked the bacon one better. I had the California salad, and for entree, we had bourguignon - basically oil - and mojo cooking styles. The mojo was especially good with the veggies. Our waiter showed us how to make fried stuffed mushrooms, too (use the orange sauce for frying and add some Green Goddess sauce in the mushrooms first), which were fantastic. For chocolate, we got the caramel toffee and the s'mores; the caramel toffee took a long time to heat up, for some reason, so I liked the s'mores one better. They also flambé the s'mores fondue which makes for some cool pictures. :) Our waiter was very personable and if it hadn't been for the loooooong wait at the beginning and really during the middle of the meal, too, if we are being honest, Melting Pot would still be getting 5/5 stars from me, regardless of their overall customer service. I also had the e-club coupon for free birthday chocolate-covered strawberries (don't forget to call ahead to reserve these), so I left with six strawberries, too. I usually go to the Melting Pot about 1-2 times per year and due to the service, it's now a 4-star restaurant for me. Like I said, though, the food is always delicious, and you will definitely not leave hungry.

Yelp
We had a holiday party here for a rather large group of people, and they were nothing but phenomenal. We had a separate dining room for our party, and were able to comfortably mingle without intermixing with the general public. The food was a pre-set menu, and was amazing. The wait staff were also very jovial and fun to work with and discuss. A definite A+ for my picky work crew!

Yelp
It's been years since I first came here. Nothings changed. Brought husband here for a nice birthday dinner. Set the reservation for 7:30 and we were seated right away. I thought because I told them this was a birthday dinner that I would get a table with flowers but we did not. We got sat all the way in the back in a corner. Which was fine but flowers would have been nice. We ordered the classic alpine cheese with bacon for starters and it was delicious. Salads were next. Hubby got the classic salad and I had the California. The candied pecans were a delicious treat. And then we ordered the steak lovers plate and we built our own. It consisted of shrimp, duck breast and Memphis style pork. We cooked it in the Coq a Vin. Everything was so delicious For desert we had the Flaming turtle which was divine!!!! The only downside and the reason we won't give 5 stars is because of the noise level. So I guess there was a couple also celebrating a birthday. The hostess must have knew them or something cause she came over to talk with them. They were beyond loud and very obnoxious. Really killed the romantic mood with other people so close being that loud.

Yelp
After a 40 min wait after our reservation time the service was absolutely awful. The food was decent but overall not worth the price. Another couple complained as I did and received a gift certificate for the inconvenience and my party was told to wait that there was only 5 more parties (all with reservations) ahead of me. The couple that received the gift certificate was only inconvenienced by 5 mins of their reservation ‍. Why is racism still a thing??? I do not recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
Came here for my birthday dinner tonight. John our server was so attentive and a pleasure to speak to. We got the big night out 4 course meal for 2, everything was so delicious! Definitely an overall great meal. Variety of cheeses, sauces, meats, seafoods & desserts to choose from. Highly recommend this place for a nice fondue experience.

Yelp
Let me start with we attended the Wednesday BFFF deal day which at the time of me writing this is about $50 per person for a 4 course meal which includes the cheese, salad, entree, and dessert. The food itself was pretty good and nothing tasted bad or abnormal. The reason for the 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is that the service took forever each course. I even started timing to see how long it would take for our dessert to come out after our entree was picked up. It was about 20 minutes after each time an item was taken away for the next item to be brought out. (Which doesn't awful reading but all together with 4 courses is an hour of just wait time) I feel like this is understandable if meals are being brought out, but they are bringing out bowls which are then heated at the table which you then have to wait another 5 minutes to heat up and then cook your meat in that heated pot. Again, fun but make sure you see aside ample time. We had a reservation at 6:30pm and did not leave until 9pm and it was not because we are slow eaters...

Yelp
Not a fan of the classic alpine, it was mid! Wish we would have tried another. The alpine tastes like the alcohol is not cooked!

Yelp
We went for sweetest day. The food was horrible. The whole concept is bad. You literally have to cook everything in the same pot which means everything taste the same. The cheese was from the appetizer was super stretchy and tasteless. The veggies were raw and hard. Just a bad experience. Apples, croutons and hard ass broccoli and cauliflower to dip in app cheeses. A HARD NO FOR US. 1 star only because it was mandatory

Yelp
My girlfriend and I have been to 10 different melting pot restaurants in 10 different states, we love them, and this one was A little surprisingly BY FAR the best total dining experience. Can't say enough about the hospitality of the staff. From the extra polite hostess, our server Blake who effortlessly gave us a memorable and fun experience, and the super nice and attentive manager Erick who was genuinely making sure everything was great for us and that we enjoyed our unique dining experience at the melting pot. The cheese and choc fondue are the reason we love Melting pot. And the gluten free options are actually super good. The entree was really good, but let's be honest, the green goddess stuffed mushrooms are so addicting and the best thing about the entree. Also worth mentioning is the wine selection, no complaints at all very nice selection. Now here for my recommendations... - Get the bourguignonne (what you cool your entree in, it's oil) - Stuff those mushroom caps with green goddess. - Get the alpine or Wisconsin cheddar. - Get the flaming turtle chocolate. - Get the ceasar salad, it's my favorite ceasar I've ever had with those Parmesan encrusted pine nuts, very addicting. - For an entree I recommend the pepper garlic steak, Cajun chicken, shrimp, and you have to upgrade to the lobster tail for sure, totally worth the $10 extra.

Yelp
It was amazing!!! Literally was the best date I've ever been on. Private area. No loud noises, very intimate and romantic environment. I loved every single food I ate there. I had land and sea, steak lovers. Also desert. I hate nuts but in the Cesar salad was amazing!!!! Made me change my out look on things I "don't" like. Everything was fantastic. Waiter was awesome. Gave us free chocolate covered strawberries. All the drinks were great! Definitely will be going again . You're literally going to dance in your seat from each bite
