Visited Memo for the first time today. Cute compact restaurant with a warm and somewhat intimate ambiance.
I ordered the tasting menu, which in my opinion was reasonably priced.
A big positive point was the wide range of ingredients used in the dishes, as in some higher-end restaurants, you can see the chef's obsession with one type of ingredient. My favourites were the main course (smoked duck) and the dessert. Their home-made bread was also a pleasant surprise, and I would totally recommend ordering it.
I also liked the salad as I tend to like "nutty" dishes and the balsamic and sesame dressing was very tasty.
The Chef was very attentive and explained each dish with occasional "creation stories," which I found pleasant. Finally, as a somewhat impatient diner, I appreciated not having to wait too long between dishes.
I intend to go back in a different season to see how the menu has changed!
On a less "crucial" note, I would like to recommend a more carefully curated playlist to go with the calm and warm vibe of the restaurant.
