New Vietnamese American Restaurant Memoire Ca Phe Will Open in Portland - Eater Portland
"At their forthcoming Vietnamese American breakfast cafe, Mémoire Cà Phê, the owners will serve their own version of the McDonald’s Big Breakfast, swapping the biscuit for a pandan waffle. Mémoire Cà Phê uses the fast food breakfast as a culinary jumping off point. Matta brunch favorites will return remixed; for example, the beloved breakfast sandwich — pairing fried egg with American cheese, smashed pork patties, and nước chấm — will trade in its pandan bun for a slice of Nguyen’s milk bread. Le will fill breakfast burritos with fish sauce caramelized pork belly. Nguyen will fill the case with a rotating selection of desserts inspired by childhood favorites, things like black sesame cinnamon rolls. Dam will handle the coffee drinks, leaning heavily on Vietnamese ca phe standards." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden
The sea salt coffee is bitter at first and then gives off a salty after taste which is very unique. The mango smoothie and coconut smoothie is very refreshing. Comfortable seats, good service.

The food is very good and you can see this café is focused on products/ingredients quality and customers satisfaction.
High quality and high standard, well worth a stop if you are in Hue!

Priced for foreigners and the wealthy. Very nice ambience. But they do not take credit cards… come with cash unless you have a Vietnamese payment app.

I think the cake was only okay, but the espresso was really good. I would come back even if I had to bring my own oat milk again. Their peach, honey, and cinnamon tea was like candy and contained three fat slices of peach. Very very cute space with lots of nooks and crannies to hide in.

The coffee is milky, quite weak by vietnamese standards but it was my first time to try cinnamon coffee. The ambiance is nice with the painted walls and their open courtyard. The train station is also visible from the second floor.
