Memorial Wine Cellar

Second time coming here and we ordered this delicious stuff. The service is amazing and the knowledge of wines is great. I love this place just to relax and unwind.

This place has a great selection. Prices are great. Luis was personable and knowledgeable. Quaint and a ton of selection of cheeses/meats. Really wonderful place.

Such a wonderful quiet place to just unwind while waiting for traffic to die down! Conveniently located off interstate 10 and Antoine. Wonderful hospitality! $$$

wine was good but the service was poor and the foods (pizza & Cheese) were nor impressive. It may be cozy place for the Royal customers but not for me as a new comer.

Love this place, great wine list, good bar cheese and meat plates, fantastic staff.

Hosted a work dinner and meeting here, the owners are incredibly attentive and clear on what they can do and pricing. The 30 people that came together loved the place, a couple of the locals happily surprised to find something they didn't know about. The wines were delicious and wisely paired, the foods are all clean, simple, well portioned for the event. Absolutely worth the time and money (a great deal, really), looking forward to taking my wife here!

It’s a beautiful place and a wonderful atmosphere. I was so excited walking in. But then I saw the menu and saw their specials for the evening included a bottle of JOSH ($10-$20 depending on the type) and a basic cheese pizza for $60+ I laughed myself right out the door. Unfortunately, that was the top of the menu I received. Didn’t bother looking further down knowing the kind of up charge they settled on. Maybe some people are into that, but there are enough wine bars in the area to make better choices than this. ——————- Edit: After the owners response I decided to revise my review. I went here during the week of some sort of holiday (not on the day and I can’t remember which one). I only remember this because the person behind the bar had on a sparkly party hat, which is why there was a special printed menu of specials with the pizza and wine combinations. Owner is probably right in that it wasn’t a Josh wine I made a remark about. However, I believe I had it confused with a J. Lohr or something similar you see on the same bottom shelf at H‑E‑B. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Maybe I got the specific wine wrong, but the sentiment remains. I looked up the wine from my bar stool and it was an absurd difference in price.

Good selection of reds. A little lighter on the interesting whites. The cheese and meat choices and portions are nice. For those seeking something lighter to munch on there is gourmet popcorn. The space is relatively large and can get loud. There is a separate room for private parties and outdoor seating. It you are into local artists, there are a few pieces on display to choose from and purchase. Plenty of parking.

The wine bar that is a hidden gem! The food items are a great match for the type of location with small bites. The space is open and welcoming to accommodate 3 types of individuals (sitting at barn small table, or group area with TV). The decor inside captivates you upon entering. The staff were able to make suggestions on bites and wine with details of taste and aroma.

This is such a cute, and wonderfully located wine bar in spring branch, so I am quite disappointed with my experience. I have come twice to Vine Memorial and both times left feeling underwhelmed. I so wish that the wine and food were better. The wine is overpriced- $17 for a glass of not good white wine is insane to me. The food is ok, but I feel like they go overboard with the combinations. A simple charcuterie board goes a long way; it doesn't have to be complicated. The servers are very friendly though! If the prices were cheaper, or the food was better this would be a fabulous spot!

Food, service, and atmosphere is great! They also have live music a few nights a week. Would highly recommend this neighborhood wine bar!

Our first time to visit Vine Memorial, since it changed from Memorial Wine Cellar. It was terrific! Emily was our wonderful server who guided our selections. The charcuterie board (Houston Dairy Maids products) was outstanding. Lovely selection. The Malbec was tasty and quite reasonable. Great selection of wines. I enjoyed the updated, fresh interior. Quite an enjoyable evening. Will be back!
