there is something here for EVERYONE. I don’t care who you are there is something here for everyone AND their loved ones. they also have a fun stamp rally, pool tables, a bar, poster of great local events and more! staff was super friendly and held my luggage for me. I wish I had more time to spend here because I could be here for a whole day! I think this is my new favorite vintage mall and will definitely come back if I’m ever in Portland

Google
Largest vintage mall in America. This place is really enormous and it takes a while to walk through every stall that's decked out uniquely to theme for both floors. Even if you don't buy anything (prices are a little high), it's worth coming here to see all the decor and immerse yourself in vintage galore. There's also a free vintage books library, a drinks bar, a hall dedicated to quirky Portland art studios, a creepy room, and a couple of cool hangouts spots inside. Just know that if you have a backpack, they'll make you store it in a small locker for free. Otherwise you're free to walk around, grab a drink and explore all the vintage and art pieces

Google
Huge amount of quality vintage items. My favorite part is artist alley where a lot of great local artists have items for sale. There's also a pool table you can rent time on, and a large room with a big table you can rent out that looks perfect for D&D.

Google
I enjoyed the Memory Den so very much! Each vendor had their own personality and booth of treasures! I found my new favorite jumper and also enjoyed this space for its unique and quirky presence! I look forward to visiting again and again! It was a great place for myself and my daughter to find some very nice pieces that we can't find on the east coast! Brava, Memory Den!

Google
Super cute place. It’s huge! you could spend all day here. A lot of things are a little pricey but you can find some cool stuff and it’s still a fun time either way.

Google
This was basically all mid century modern and clothes, like a ton of clothing. There were some cool vendors but most booths seemed messy and closer to a thrift store then cared for items. Prices were varied but mostly on the higher side compared to other shops. Parking is a wreck and the bathrooms although cool looking did not seem safe. 3 stars since my teen found some items but not a place we would go back to again.

Google
Oh my goodness. This place is so fun. Many different sellers in a very large warehouse space. They have a bar and a little coffee stand and so many of the sellers have created totally magical worlds with their stands (especially upstairs). It feels almost like a museum. I found some great finds for good prices. Not everything was well priced, there was certainly a lot of really expensive stuff but one can definitely get a steal here if you know what to look for. Give yourself at least 45 minutes to wander around.

Google
What an absolutely awesome place. Visited not really knowing what to expect and was blown away by the size and variety. There are two whole floors to browse, some artists studios, even a bar. I enjoyed that each "booth" had a different style to it and a very different collection of items. Price range from less than $5 to over $1,000. I thought the really spendy items made sense, there are some very high quality vintage furniture pieces for example. Some of the old kid toys that have definitely seen better days were appropriately priced which was nice to see. Overall, could definitely spend a few hours here. I look forward to coming back every few months to see what is new in!

Yelp
The tiniest door in the central Eastside leads to the biggest warehouse that is this vintage mall with over 140 local vendors. They've got furniture, home decor, and clothing. They've also got so many photo opportunities! I wouldn't necessarily recommend the place if you're looking for something specific, but if you have time to spend and want to browse while shopping, then this is the place for you. Some vendors have different focuses. Some set up their booths elaborately, others are simple shelves. Vendors set their own prices and I do personally think many overvalue what they've got. I'd love to learn more about their events, as the bar, library, tattoo studio, decades lounge, and more, all suggest that this would be a fantastic spot for a huge shop-and-sip style party.

Yelp
This place is SO cool with such an energetic, unique vibe. I could spend hours wandering around it. I consider this spot to be a big 2-story warehouse that's been converted & set up with so many vendor booths full of decorations, clothes, antique items, hidden treasures, & unique gifts. It's festive & fun to explore. Not only do they have tons of booths, the items are priced affordably & you can find many items ranging from under $5 to $100+, so it's truly a store where you can find something for everyone. Aside from the store items, there are really cool sections of this mall that include an art section/gallery, uniquely decorated rooms that you can lounge in, plus a bar and a library. Plus, they have parking which makes it easy to get to. I can't wait to go back & spend more time exploring all that this place has to offer!

Yelp
This place is HUGE! The Hubs & I had some plans fall through and found ourselves in the area with a few hours to kill before a dinner reservation so we thought we'd browse a few stores. Well we ended up wandering through the vast aisles of the Memory Den for a couple hours there was just so much to look at. Some of the vendor booths were more well-organized than others, and the entire place is well lit. Prices seemed reasonable for the most part. They have a huge variety of vintage items ranging from housewares, kitchen items, decor, toys, movies, clothes, furniture, you name it! They even have a bar upstairs that serves both beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options (I think they offered some cocktails, too). The bathroom upstairs is in desperate need of repairs & updating, however (it's a shared gender-neutral bathroom with multiple stalls).

Yelp
Everyone can find something at Memory Den. It's a treasure trove of nostalgia. Every nook and cranny has something special just waiting to be noticed. Our group spent nearly two hours exploring this two-story shop. We didn't plan to purchase anything but found two coats that were begging to be bought and worn. I don't frequent antique/vintage stores often, so I can't make any valuable comparisons. But I personally really enjoyed stopping at Memory Den and exploring everything it had to offer.

Yelp
Memory Den is a Cyclopean cavern of crafts and couture clothing; a labyrinth of long-lost literary legacies; a font of forgotten fashions and finery; a Sisyphean selection of souvenirs, substance and style; a mythological mish-mash of...alright, enough of the Odyssean adjectives! You get the idea! What I'm trying to impart to you is that this warehouse of well-worn wonders is big. Real big. How big? My wife and I ran out of time before seeing it all, and we were spread out and moving quick. Hell, we only really had time to skim the surface, and still spent the better part of a C-note before the clock ran out! Granted, we only had about an hour, having arrived in the early evening on a Sunday, but honestly, you could spend an entire day here and still not see everything this place has to offer and, according to the assistant we spoke with, even working here doesn't guarantee a complete assessment of all the articles available for sale, as they rotate regularly. While I perused and mused over mounds of media, electronic and analog (particularly the sizeable selection of second-hand books scattered throughout both floors), my wife reconnoitered rack after rack of raiments, garments and assorted apparel, accessories, jewelry and other objets d'vetements. Like many vintage and antique malls and galleries, each diorama boasts the select inventory of a different curator or collector, with their own themes, tastes and types of collectibles, ensuring that there is literally something for everyone here: if you don't see something you like, move on to the next display! Adding to Memory Den's already appealing incentives for attending, they host regular family friendly, during-and-after-hours events where music, cocktails and light bites are on offer, turning your shopping experience into a shopping EXPERIENCE. We're all about that, and my wife and I intend to drop in next weekend, when their October event happens, to continue where we left off, and scour every corner, nook and cranny of this wonderous warehouse, at our leisure! With unusually reasonable prices throughout, helpful employees, and enough stimuli to engage, entertain, and possibly overwhelm just about any shopper, window or otherwise, Memory Den is absolutely worth your time, effort, and the threat of potentially getting stabbed by a fentanyl zombie wandering around the wastes of Central Eastside industrial district. In a pinch, I'm sure you could find something to use as a weapon here, to fend them off. Totally worth it!

Yelp
I mean they got me good. Bought something there on impulse for 160 dollars then went on ebay and found the exact same thing for 16 dollars.

Yelp
Experience the ultimate vintage haven at this extraordinary place, where two floors of boundless nostalgic treasures await your discovery. I recommend at least 2 visits.. While the prices may seem a tad high, the captivating ambiance and remarkable items on display make it well worth the visit. Take a break from your vintage shopping spree or exploring and indulge in a delightful coffee break at the cozy cafe nestled on the lower level.

Yelp
Memory den is a very large antique mall quth multiple vendors. Some of the coolest pieces are not for sale, but still fun to walk around.

Mya M.

Yelp
Super messy, disorganized, and uncurated. Nothing unique and everything is waaaaaaaaay overpriced. All stars are for the era rooms. It's worth a stop if you're in the neighborhood for the museum factor, but wear a mask and don't expect to shop.

Yelp
What a cool place and gem for Portland! We were blown away buy all the goodies. From clothing, glassware, furniture, books, a bar, tattoo establishment, records, cassettes, VHS, and tons of other fun nostalgia from all era's. Some of the clothes are priced very high, we did find some treasures, like a $4.00 Thriller Michael Jackson Cassette. My 12 year old is in her 80's era and found plenty to choose from. My Mom and I from the 60's era and 80's era were so excited to see so many things we had loved and had before. The woman who checked us out down stairs was very nice and let us know if something was discounted. We will be back.

Yelp
Huge antique warehouse! It wasn't the easiest to find parking, even mid-morning on a weekday. The place is massive, you could definitely spend a chunk of time if you wanted to really cover the entire place. There are two levels, and there's a big difference in feel between them. While the downstairs feels kind of dark and basement-like, the upstairs feels huge, bright, and airy. There's a LOT of wearables at this antique location. We came with a list of specific items we were looking for, and unfortunately didn't have any luck. But we definitely had fun looking. The aisles are pretty wide and booths organized quite well and easy to search. There's one booth upstairs in particular that's set up so cute and fun, like a lil house...my daughter spent quite a while in it alone. Even though we didn't have any luck on our search, the place is great, and loads of fun to wander through. Just one warning/heads up, they don't have a restroom. Considering how large the place is, and therefore how long you could spend, seems like a bathroom should be a must...plan accordingly!

Yelp
Huge warehouse of vintage clothing, furniture, home decor, and more. We had so much fun exploring. I brought a friend who isn't normally into vintage things, and she fell in love with searching and finding the perfect item. Prices were reasonable and, depending on the vendor, can be flexible. Employees were kind and helped answer all our questions. Would recommend slotting a few hours if you enjoy browsing and wandering.

Yelp
This might be one of the coolest Antique/Vintage malls I've been to. Certainly one of the largest and most curated. I spent so much time on the first floor, only to find even cooler treasures on the second! I came here as they were closing within the hour so I had to do a bit of a supermarket spree to see as much as could, but everyone who worked there was super cool and helpful as I made my way whipping thru stalls like a Tasmanian devil. Tons of vintage clothes and some designer too. Bunch of curio, and cute art, and even a comprehensive selection of vintage radios. Well priced and definitely has something for everyone. Just make sure you give yourself enough time to get the full experience!
google avatar

Connor E.

Yelp
It's 2 huge stories full of anything and everything you could think of. There are over 140 plus venders here at Memory Den. With a variety of choices from furniture, cloths and art work and vintage radios that they restore and so much more. If you're ever in Portland this is a fun place to just come and visit.

Yelp
If you know me, you know I love bargain-hunting and antique shopping. Saturday mornings usually involve rising early, grabbing some coffee, then heading out to a list of estate sales I've been compiling all week. Yep... that's how I roll! And my intensity about finding great deals only intensifies as I age. I'm in my early forties now, I can't imagine how obsessed I'll be about "the hunt" when I'm in my golden years. Memory Den Antique Mall is a treasure trove of unique and vintage finds. The sheer variety of items available from over 60 vendors really makes the store stand out from the competition. Customers can find everything from antique furniture and jewelry to vintage clothing and rare books. Each of the vendors have their own distinct style of presentation and merchandise. There are so many interesting things to discover here! What sets Memory Den Antique Mall apart from other antique stores in the area is its commitment to quality and authenticity. The vendors go to great lengths to ensure that their items are genuine and in good condition, and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to identifying and valuing unique pieces. To make the most of your shopping experience here, it's important to come prepared. Bring a list of items you're looking for, as well as measurements for any furniture you're hoping to purchase. This will help you stay focused and avoid impulse buys... because there will be LOTS of temptation. Also, if you ever happen to visit a booth and it appears someone is actively stocking it or displaying merchandise, don't be afraid to strike up a conversation. It's likely the owner of the booth and they should be your best friend if you are looking for a deal. They can offer discounts and give you a head's up when new merchandise is coming. That's information the store isn't able to give you. You'll thank me for this little tip... Happy hunting!

Yelp
I was very excited to check this place out, but as soon as I walked in the door, the lady at the counter snapped that I needed to leave my purse there. I told her I'm not comfortable leaving my purse with strangers, and she told me that I could stick it in a locker then. The locker available was so small that I had to crush my purse to get it in there, and I don't carry large purse. I think large purses are annoying and collect trash at the bottom. But I got it in there, and though was uncomfortable leaving it behind, it was that or my car in an out-of-the-way location in Portland. But as I walked around...I saw plenty of other people with large bags, not to mention oversized coats that things would have been slipped into. But my 10"x8" purse was a problem? So this is selectively enforced. The place is large, yes, but is clearly geared toward hipsters who think vintage is ironically cool. It's mostly clothing that all looks very similar, think 1960's and 1970's with a sprinkling of 1980's. I never thought that vintage could turn into a blur of sameness, but it did. They decorated some areas with bikes suspended from the ceilings, if that gives you any idea. When I went upstairs, it was better, though still a lot of vintage clothes. I found a book seller, but not only were the prices extremely high for what they were, the prices were permanently stamped inside the book with the dealer ID. I found more books elsewhere, and it was the same thing. Found some photos. Stamped on the back. There's nothing so special about these dealers that someone into the history of items would want to have a permanent reminder of this place. Even Shakespeare & Co. in Paris, which actually IS iconic, ASKS you if you'd like a stamp in your books (yes, and I've even bought second-hand books elsewhere because of that stamp, so I'm no against stamps overall). The items I checked prices on were high. I don't look for cheap (eight months ago, I drop $16,000 on one thing, so I'm willing to spend serious money), but $10 for a small photo pf someone standing in an unremarkable yard, or $33 for a 1977 printing of The Little Prince with damage to the dust jacket, $85 for that common brass and glass three compartment vanity organizer from the 1980's that you can find everywhere...no. The people who will pay these prices either don't know better, or are the sort who want to say they bought something from this place. If you want to, fine, but there are significantly lower-in-price options anywhere in Portland or Vancouver. It doesn't help how incredibly icy cold the place was. I was shivering. I intended to stay a little longer, but was too cold. I was in a fitted top and a skirt, no jacket. Between the unexpected rudeness of the clerk, the selectively enforced requirement to leave purses and bags behind, the overall lack of variety, the penmanent marking of items, and the prices that really are quite high, I simply can't recommend this place to anyone but people whose identity is Portland hipster gen Zer who thinks that they're being counter-cultural by decorating with bikes ands ticking birds on things. If that's you, you'll love this place. If it's not, Kenton or Stars & Spendid will be better options. I'm leaving two stars as opposed to one since this would be a good for the aforementioned Portland hipster older gen Zers who want to burn money. I really wanted to like this place, and was so excited to come here, and am so epically disappointed.

Kristen L.

Yelp
Unfortunate experience today at this vintage mall. The clerk is definitely selective with who they ask to check personal bags. I had a small bag and she wanted me to put it in a locker. But right as I was going to do so a huge group of people walked in who were carrying full on backpacks and she said nothing. In fact, most people in the store had larger bags than mine on their person. I decided to keep my bag on me after witnessing that and actually ended up leaving after five minutes because it kinda killed the vibe. Sad because I have friends who are vendors here but won't be shopping at Memory Den anymore! There are other places in Portland with much friendlier and understanding staff.
google avatar

Frances L.

Yelp
Amazing collection of eclectic knick-knacks and memorabilia from various vendors. Everything is brilliantly displayed in sections that are bright and clean. Products were reasonably priced. If you are looking for something one of a kind this is the place. They have antiques, toys, collectibles, and even plants already planted in beautiful pots :) Will be a regular stop when in the area!
google avatar

Steph S.

Yelp
This place is easily one of my favorite vintage shops. It is absolutely enormous, so wear comfy shoes and prepare to walk. Beautifully curated stalls, so many fun items and conveniently located near some good cocktail spots. The bathroom has definitely seen better times but I'm really glad they even had one. Bring a buddy, one of the stalls doesn't have a door and it's unisex.
google avatar

Patty B.

Yelp
First visit. If you need a place to window shop or shop for Vintage clothing, thats your place. I found many Muranos, McCoys items, but they were priced as EBAY would, so no big find for a quality price. Would I come back, maybe, but in the Winter lol. Inside there is no AC. It is definitely a musty and no air kinda place.
google avatar

Partly P.

Yelp
Grabbed a bunch of vintage glassware without chips, 2 wicker chairs, piggy bank, etc. 140 booths and 2 floors

Stephanie Franco ..

Yelp
Very cool and sprawling selection of unique vintage stuff, for sure. It's a real shame your front desk folks choose to treat people the way they do. Those employees either need a vacation, need to be retrained, or need to be replaced. I understand they don't allow purses/bags for security reasons but their delivery is completely unprofessional and really put a shadow over our shopping trip. Our group opted to just take our purses back to the car rather than hand them over to someone who's clearly having that bad of a bad day. When we walked back in, we were shouted at AGAIN by the front desk people who didn't bother to even look if we had bags on us. I hope they can get it together because Memory Den is otherwise awesome.
google avatar

Alisa G.

Yelp
It's new! It's huge! It's close to home! It's reasonably priced! The vendors seem to specialize in vintage apparel, but you'll find furniture, collectibles, housewares, and decor

Don S.

Yelp
Great experience! Lots of cool affordable items. I can't get enough of this place. Don't forget to check out the restroom for an interesting visual experience.

Hazzel S.

Yelp
Cute and spacious vintage mall tucked away on the second floor! There is a huge variety of both vintage and antique clothes, furniture, and more. Prices and styles range in each booth, so it's like a treasure hunt finding a bargain, or just something really really cool. It just opened in July 2022, so it's still a hidden gem that's pretty quiet. I can't wait to see how it grows and what treasures I end up taking home!

T. T.

Yelp
This place isn't worth the time to go, the money, or the attitude of the clerk. There are much better places to go than this.
google avatar

Robert B.

Yelp
Cool layout and lots of booths. Just wish they had a working bathroom as what they offered was out of order. Didn't really find much for how large but would go back.
google avatar

Krizia N.

Yelp
You'll definitely find hidden gems here. Take your time and look through everything. I absolutely love it!

Lonnamae L.

Yelp
This place is awesome! So many different vendors, there's something for everyone. It's always a fun treasure hunt, I highly recommend Memory Den!

Chris B.

Yelp
The store has potential. But, unfortunately, the prices reflect a very amateurish level of experience / market awareness. In some cases, 15 x current retail value. I have gone there six times with a genuine desire to support them, but was stunned each time by the outrageous prices. I hope they achieve some grasp on actual current retail prices, eventually, as I would enjoy shopping here.

Lena R.

Yelp
the way the pricing is set is confusing and not consistent also the person working the counter is yikes.. very condescending and has a huge lack of customer service skills but this seems to be common here in portland so ‍
google avatar

Lindsay A.

Yelp
A wonderful assortment of vintage finds -- from a wall full of vintage radios to rows upon rows of booths with vintage clothing, furniture and housewares. All ranging in style, so there's lots to see and discover! New this summer!

Carolyn T.

Yelp
Would have loved to explore, as we're avid vintage folk and have been for decades, but they want you to check a *purse*? A lesportsac "deluxe everyday bag", regular size purse?? That felt rather hostile and weird and pretty much ruined the vibe. I'm not sure I'd even trust leaving my purse with people like that. Never experienced anything like that before anywhere. The paranoia was really a shame.

Evan O.

Yelp
This place is really rad and in a neat area with some other places to check out nearby. Memory Den is huge and has a very well curated selection of clothes, art, furniture, and just STUFF. Deserving of a few separate trips to really get your arms around everything. I look forward to future visits.

Lori M.

Yelp
I stumbled upon Memory Den on a rainy day . Definitely had no idea what was in store . My presence was not greeted or acknowledged in any way . The overhead door was open so l was cold most of the time in here. Prices were west coast high compared to Indiana . Lots of clothes on the first level. Made it upstairs to mosey around . One booth in particular really stood out . Crammed full of great items and the set up was phenomenal with the library ladder and even a kitchen counter complete with a sink and a dishwasher. Prices were too high for me. i.e. a mushroom book with a $7.98 POWELLS sticker has $14 stamped on the inside cover. Tried on a dress upstairs. The younger staff was definitely not into interacting with customers at all. Chatting amongst themselves. I had to speak up for any kind of acknowledgment. Decided to get the dress and had to find a person to check me out. Cool store with an neglected young staff .
